Car, Car, Truck, Truck, Car, Car.

People keep asking me my thoughts on this whole break ...
I think I've made myself pretty clear.

It's kinda like the above picture to me...
Connected. Close.
But looking in different directions.
For now.

Does that mean I believe the bullshit being regurgitated
by the gossip rags?
Don't be fucking ridiculous.

There is SO much speculation right now
and what exactly is it based on?
A couple of pics of Kristen in some room...
Some pics of Kristen driving in a car.
Some pics of Rob driving a truck.
Some more pics of Kristen in a car..
Even more pics of Rob driving in a truck
and then some pics of Kristen
hanging with some friends.
(but leaning on a car...)

Take out the agenda driven narrative given to us
by a pap who makes his living
harassing and stalking Rob and Kristen...
(Thus fueling the Rags and the Hags)
And what do you have?

You have made Harvey Levin of TMZ
say something that actually makes sense...
(and you have NO idea how much that pains me
to even type that)

"You're trying to connect dots
that may not connect."

I think this fandom is not only driven by drama...
But it's addicted to it.

 Final Thoughts.

1. Just like last summer...
This drama has brought out the worst in the Ninnie Fringe.
Even now...
When they 'hope' they have what they want
(and you know they are still worried)

They can't just focus on Rob
like they always complained they want to do...
They still constantly obsess over Kristen
Every hour.
Every day.
Kristen fucking owns you.

2. Tom and Andrew

Cute. Fucking. Cute.
The only thing that could make this better
is to have Rob sandwiched somewhere in-between.
But I will take this.
Any day.
Any where.
Any time.

3. It's the same car.
I see a ring.
Learn to recognize sarcasm.
If some sleazy lowlife was stalking you
you would be pissed off too.
The pics aren't staged.
Everything their Friends tweet/post
doesn't have to do with Rob and Kristen.
There is no conspiracy.
Nick and Ruth aren't at war.
There never was a PR contract.
What you see is misleading...
What you read is 99.9% speculation.
There is no source/insider close
to Rob and Kristen who would ever
speak to the tabloid press about their relationship.
Ever.
Stop freaking out over every insignificant detail.
I hope Rob and Kristen disappear and no one sees
them for weeks.
Smile.
It's all good.

 4. Personally I don't care what anyone else believes.
I know what I see.
I know what I know.
And until Rob and Kristen show me otherwise...
I know where I stand.

This post is brought to you by

Another car!

Hmmmm...

Fascinating... Yes?
Indeed.

The ever spinning never ending saga of
Cars, Trucks and Big White Gates.

Until next time...

Hang in there.

Bye for now.

R & K mathing.

If R is Tangent to K's Curve...and R touches the Curve at certain points that has exactly the same slope as the curve at that point...by using calculus you will be able to calculate the R Tangent Line to any point of K's curve. And by using R's NATURAL LOG...which is the Inverse of the Exponential form of Oooohhss and Aaaahhsss... you can solve TIME and GROWTH integral to the problem. Note that R Tangent Lines can be MOVED MANY TIMES ON THE K CURVE.
You need VISUALS?

I had an English teacher in High School who was the first teacher who I related to. His name was Mr. Knudson and all the students liked him so much. In my year in his class, he taught me/us how to understand Shakespeare. We read and deciphered and role played Julius Caesar and I thoroughly enjoyed it, much to my surprise.

tufenuf55 said...

And Robert...I know not to end a sentence with a preposition...just testing you. lol

gargamel said...

It sounds complex...but it's really just 4 words: INVERSE...TANGENT...CURVE...AND NATURAL LOG. Involves moving a lot...with time and growth variables.

So much for global warming. It was chilly yesterday morning but the highs are in the 80's here with scattered showers here and there for good measure.

We have another friend with cancer. He is 54 and has a baseball sized tumor in his right lung with spread to the bones and brain....He quit smoking 5 years ago but as you can see, irreversible damage. He had just remarried 4 years ago and he and his wife traveled all the time...went scuba diving , fishing, camping and really enjoyed their time together. He starts chemo and they are going to radiate his brain on Tuesday so we are having a nice meal and get together tomorrow with his other friends....the doctors said 3 months with no treatment, 6-10 months with ....sucks....

Morning Ladies and Robert

@Annie - Supposed to be 85 here today so I am debating if I really want to go to the amusement park today or the pool with the kids, we had a full day of being in the sun yesterday

@Super - that sucks :( I smoke (I know I know and it is a million times worse because my dad has emphysema so I know what happens, I quit and have never told him I picked it up again) but one of my best friends is getting married early next year so we are doing the vice challenge together to quit on thing at a time. We are working on soda right now, then smoking, then she has to come to the gym with me if I haven't killed everyone after the not smoking. I also have to go to the mountains for the wedding - good thing drinking is not on the to go list.

Hope everyone has a nice day !

Robert - I have a couple hours before I book - should do a top 10 on music or movies if you are up :))))))

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Super - I have a weird affair with smoking to put it mildly, I quit for years then smoke a couple then quit again. I hate the smell of them too lol. Drinking is not going anywhere but that is the hardest part for me with smoking. I tried the e cigarettes too but they are weird to me.. when a regular one burns down you know it is done ....

Annie said...

Super: Thanks. It was a long time ago.

One of the saddest stories I've heard is of a husband who smoked heavily but it was his wife who was diagnosed with lung cancer( she never smoked a day in her life)
Her husband blames himself for her death, he has since stopped smoking but look what it took.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Annie - I got Alcohol poisoning one time when we were at a party at my bosses house a long time ago. They would go drinking after work all the time and I would drink a soda because I don't drink and drive plus there was a co-worker that loved Merlot and would get sloppy when drinking - you know the one that would take her top off in a bar or spill her drink - and I never wanted to be in that position. So they made it a mission to get me drunk that night. Started on beer, went to Tequila Rose, then shots of Rumple-mints, and then mixed drinks with various Schnapps flavors. After puking for what felt like forever, they put me to bed ... I was sick for days after and quit drinking for about 3 yrs...now I get a buzz and stop. Praying to the porcelain God is enough to reform anyone and help with limits lol. I was only part of the entertainment that night, someone fell down the stairs, my boss was hip thrusting to Queen with his bottled beer in his back pocket, and wine got spilled all over his brand new light tan carpet.

okay let's get serious for a minute

i love this blog and in a worst case scenario let's say they do break up, hell i don't know how they've managed to stay together this long, under this kind of scrutiny, even so i believe the two camps, and they clearly do exist in the commentary section of this blog, are more than capable of being mature enough to wish both actors success in their careers and remain civil in their discussion thereof.

this is all just to say, that assuming rose continues to write this blog you can believe me when i tell you that i will have to be carried out of here in a body bag. i am not going out any other way.

okay?

now for the heavy part. and i want to qualify that what i am about to say has nothing whatsoever to do with rob or the two of them as a couple. it has to do with Kristen exclusively.

can someone please explain to me why we as a society are okay with the fact that men who commit adultery are celebrated for the work they do and the women who do the same are run out of town on a fucking witch hunt, when their work is just as important

Franklin Delano Roosevelt, a married man, had an ongoing relationship with a married woman through, i believe two terms of his presidency. how do we remember him, we put his face on the dime. Kennedy had several lovers while he was in office. he also had a wife and two kids. he of course has risen to sainthood in the wake of his assassination. Bill Clinton, married with a child had sex in the fucking oval office. now he is revered as a former president.

Brad Pitt cheated on his wife, we could not love or respect him more, Johnny Depp, currently known as the most popular actor in the world. just last year, left the mother of his children, for a younger woman with whom he was having an affair. and who would you say was the most respected male actor in Hollywood? tom hanks? well did you know he was married with a child when he met his eventual wife, Rita on the st of volunteers?

keep in mind all of these men were admittedly having sex with these women when they were caught

now, let's look at the women shall we

Ingrid Bergman [who starred in Casablanca] was exiled in Hollywood and was forced to move to Paris, basically destroying
her career, when it was discovered that she was having an affair with a married man. Frances Farmer, considered one of the best actresses of her time died alone in an institution for the mentally insane, because, well basically she refused to conform to Hollywood's definition of who she was supposed to be they said she was moody and ungrateful, sound familiar?

in fairness, there are women who got off with a slap on the wrist: Katherine Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor. but there are no examples of men being publicly crucified for their indiscretions.

and then we have Kristen Stewart, who at the age of 22 was caught kissing a man who was married with kids, thereby cheating on her boyfriend, unlike all of those mentioned above, she did not have sex with the guy and she is the only one who apologized immediately after the act.

how have we treated her. we have tried our best to humiliate and degrade, even dehumanize her for a solid 10 months now. we have made t shirts saying things like "i want to take shit on Kristen Stewart," a NY radio station had pinatas made in her likeness, hung them up in time's square and handed out bats so people could beat her face with them. and frankly that doesn't begin to cover it. i am going to stop now because this is making me sick.

sorry for bringing everyone down, hey who knows maybe one day we will put her face on the dime.

Thank you VERY MUCH. She did not have sex with Rupig. She had a one moment kiss/make out, lip lock with the asshole. What did he get in return. The satisfaction that he got to kiss Kristen Stewart, the atta boy from all the guys that he supposedly had sex with THE Kristen Stewart. He got shit as far a being tar and feathered, crucified, etc...unlike Kristen who has and does deal to this day with the haters shit. I could go on but it isn't worth it. The media will dog her until.....when will they stop. Sad. But, you and I can choose to make a huge difference....we can continue to support Kristen.
Back in late October of 2012, a local radio station was giving away movie tickets to BD2 and at the end of their promo they made a derogative remark about..."or you could choose to have an affair with your director". I have not listened to that station since. It is forbidden to be on my radio. Just like MTV is not allowed on my TV.

Whomever this person is that has orchestrated this shitstorm deserves to be punished. Just when things were starting to quiet down about "the incident" ... now it has all been brought up again. And it's just as hurtful to Rob as it is to her, maybe moreso because it always hurts us to see those we love being hurt.

If the haters are giddy and happy about this "supposed" breakup, they're in for a rude awakening because nothing makes Rob show his love and protective side like paps and haters picking on her.

Once again, Robert, you are a class act. Hopefully, more men feel this way about Kristen.

The powers that be that run Hollywood are a pretty misogynistic bunch of old narcissistic men, don't you think? Call me a whacko, but I think they run everything from BS tabs to the casting couch, when they want to get their hands dirty. They can't pigeon hole Kristen. They can't fathom how she is so good in her indy movies and yet fiercely defend a character and movie that they deem so derisive. Must get their small hairy balls that the Twilight Saga made so much money. I truly believe if anyone can turn the tide, it's Kristen with a little help from her peers.

@K2, I've gone as far as deleting Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne from my playlist. Not going to support that spoiled kid of his in any way.

Thanks LizzieD, Holy, Ginger and Arleen for letting me follow you on Twitter!

Robert - I agree with your sentiment and comments wholeheartedly. Your sincere comments on the inequality of the treatment men and women in this area is inspiring. Sorry, I don't agree about the kiss scenario which consists of a couple blurry pictures, and one which looks like a goodbye kiss when you drop a friend off back at their car. I think Kristen was totally innocent in meeting a up with a friend and colleague, and she was blindsided by a man with other intentions. It happens to women all the time, and learning how to handle such situations is not taught to you by anyone. Mostly you want to not hurt the guys feelings, and get out of there as fast as possible. Of course that is my totally subjective opinion of course.

shakespeare's sonnet "let me not to the marriage of true minds" is an odd choice in this situation given that everyone thinks it is about true love when more specifically it is about the endurance of the lovers involved t would have gone with william blake "sooner murder an infant in its cradle/than nurse unwanted desire"

Robert - I'm so gratified to hear that you think about it the same way I do. You understand, thank you for that.

Hey, ya'll ... not gossiping, just informing. Apparently Tom & Sienna were at a restaurant in NYC and a guy wanted to take a pic (probably didn't ask) and Sienna flipped him off or something like that ... anyway, an altercation ensued with Tom, the pic guy and the manager. The cops were called. I think TMZ has the story. I just saw this on Twitter. This is going to make Rob so mad, like he's not mad enough over the parking garage incident... they didn't mention the baby, hopefully she wasn't with them.

Anonymous said...

Lizzied- I heard on Twitter too.

I saw that too, it seems like the picture taking guy was the one thrown out of the restaurant, whereas Tom handled the whole thing very calmly.

Kay said...

Robert -
No, not specifically Kristen with regards to fear, but all of the women you referenced, as well as other women in similar circumstances. In general, I think the situation brings out insecurities in some and they judge women like Kristen (or Ingrid, or anyone else that has done something similar) not only on their action, but based on their own fears. Fears like "what if it was/is my husband/boyfriend/lover next" or "what will other women think of me if I don't stand with them in their moral outrage" or "if she succumbed to temptation, how strong am I against it?" Don't get me wrong, I think jealousy on many levels plays a HUGE role in why some women have behaved the way they have. Or it could just be pure bitchiness.

I hope that makes a bit more sense as to what I meant. It is obviously a much deeper subject than my simplistic answer of fear and jealousy, and that answer in no way excuses the unacceptable behavior and lack of human decency and compassion that Kristen is subjected to every day. (I won't even go into my thoughts on assholes, abuse of power, and predators.)

artemisluvv- I meant I just read on the twitter. But I didn't see the picture. Right now I am boycotting the tabloids and webloids. Meaning I stop reading them. No I haven't read or click them. And I don't attend to either.

Ginger with a Soul said...

Had to come home cause it is about to rain - BOO. Lets hope this doesn't happen at the BBQ tomorrow

@Robert - I applaud you on this, you and I have seen eye to eye on almost all of this. I think the biggest issue is the generation gap. Things have changed dramatically in the past 30 years. Being in my 30's I don't see things the way my mother sees things in her 60's, and it is night and day between the way my grandmother viewed things. Women are meant to be dressed the part of June Cleaver but live the life of the everyday working Joe. We banish women who are sexual but crave sexuality. Men are excused for cheating because they are expected to do it because they have no control over their dicks (rolling my eyes so hard right now) and they wouldn't do it if there wasn't a wicked woman to lead them astray. That thinking is in conflict with how my generation and the one under me is growing up - stereo types exist because they live and breath in us but they are slowly evolving.

For the record I want to kick my own ass for even talking about this because I think it is complete bullshit but my opinion is she was caught of guard. 3 pictures does not make a make out session when they take a frame per second. The smear campaign came from people that thought they were owed something or had a right to be angry over something we can only guess at - hand delivered by mass media on a silver platter, I have never seen so many people gobble that shit up and ask for 2nds, 3rds, and 4ths in my life without asking why does none of this really make sense and what am I really eating?

GINGER -- Great comments. Sorry you had to come home. I know you hated to mention "the incident" but AGAIN, we find ourselves in defense mode, can't help ourselves.

ARTE -- Glad you're enjoying Twitter, I guess you're out of jail, LOL DID YOU GET MY EMAILS?

KAY -- I think I get what you are trying to say. A lot of men (no offense, Robert & Dano) are insecure (almost afraid) of really secure and independent women. Years ago, when I was single and about 30, I'd go out with other girlfriends and they would get asked to dance more often than I would. My male friends said it was because I looked "too sure of myself" and that were afraid of being shut down. Whatever!!! But, yea, I think I get what you were saying.

I just got back in and read your commentary on the ...what shall we call it..."The Kristen Effect"?

You are spot ON but to even carry it further, there was a huge vendetta and a boatload of "feral cave dwelllers" that are referred to as Nonstens, Hyenas, and many other names that purely hated her guts before the Rupig Incident and since then it's been fodder for a public lynching...AND SHE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE SEX WITH HIM...God only knows what would have happened if she did...

All that aside, it's the double standard...men are expected to do this.its their hormones ya know....men can't " control themselves"... The woman is the seductress and the poor man cant use the upstairs brain once the downstairs has been activated !!!! So they are forgiven, because they just can't help themselves!!!!

So the woman is a slut, a home wrecker, a harlot, a whore and every other dirty word that anyone can think of.... Hell, if you are a woman in the Middle East and you are raped, you are punished for being raped !!! The woman's fault!!!

So there you go...

Ginger - Your are so right about the pictures, so few and some suspiciously blurry!!!

I love, love your comment about people gobbling from the silver platter, 2nds & 3rds. This whole situation has made me rethink so many things I absorbed from media, that I see now were in actual fact LIES. So recently in fact, that I was surprised to see Jennifer Anniston NOT pregnant the last time I saw her on television. I was taken in by an US Magazine cover again!

@Kay - I get what you are saying, women fear women they deem prettier, more successful, or whatever they feel they are lacking within themselves because if they are better then what is stopping them from knocking on their front door and taking what is theirs. Also it is the mean girl analogy - people would rather go with the rest instead of being the one to stand up and face the wrath or maybe look in the mirror.

@Super - agreed 1+1 is not 4 and when it doesn't add up...

@Pist - I used to buy crap like People when I was in my early 20's and I used to believe it. I have since learned life lives outside my bubble and in my head. I am honestly curious percentage wise women to men who buys and visits those sites, I have a pretty solid guess ..........

Oh wait, maybe I do! It's still making money for the gossip media!!! Why is that ya think? Could it be that people are STILL talking about it??
And I know this pisses a lot of you off...but, truh is truth.
And I absolutely agree with most everyone's opinion here before you are ready to jump all over me.

Let It Be Me

Ray LaMontagne:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LWpw3CMCEg

There may come a time
A time in everyone's life
Where nothing seems to go your way
Where nothing
Seems to turn out right

There may come a time
You just cant seem to find your way
For every door you walk into
Seems like they get slammed
In your face

That's when you need someone
Someone that you can call
And when all your faith is gone
Feels like you cant go on
Let it be me
Let it be me

If its a friend
That you need
Let it be me
Let it be me

Feels like your always coming home
Pockets full of nothing
And you got no cash

No matter where you turn
You ain't got no place to stand
Reach out for something
And they slap your hand

Now I remember all to well
Just how it feels to be all alone
You feel like you'd give anything
For just a little place
You can call your own

That's when you need someone
Someone that you can call
And when all your faith is gone
Feels like you cant go on
Let it be me
Let it be me

If its a friend
That you need
Let it be me
Let it be me

A Sense Of Wonder

Van Morrison:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJTvjoSfazM

I walked in my greatcoat
Down through the days of the leaves.
No before after, yes after before
We were shining our light into
The days of blooming wonder
In the eternal presence,
In the presence of the flame.

Didn't I come to bring you a sense of wonder
Didn't I come to lift your fiery vision bright
Didn't I come to bring you a sense of wonder in the flame.

On and on and on and on we kept singing our song
Over newtonards and comber,
Gransha and the Ballystockart Road.
This spike an boffyflow
I said I could describe the leaves
For Samuel and Felicity
Rich, red browny, half burnt orange and green.

It's easy to describe the leaves in the autumn
And it's oh so easy in the spring
But down through January and February
It's a very different thing.

On and on and on, through the winter of our discontent.
When the wind blows up the collar and the ears are frostbitten too
I said I could describe the leaves for Samuel
And what it means to you and me
You may call my love Sophia, but I call my love philosophy.

Didn't I come to bring you a sense of wonder
Didn't I come to lift your fiery vision
Didn't I come to bring you a sense of wonder in the flame.

Wee Alfie at the castle picture house on the Castlereagh Road.
Whistling on the corner next door where
He kept Johnny McBride's horse.
O solo mio by Mcgimsey
And the man who played the saw
Outside the city hall.

Pastie suppers down at Davey's chipper
Gravy rings, wagon wheels, barmbracks, snowballs.

A sense of wonder
A sense of wonder
A sense of wonder

I went 3 years before without it and find myself still content here. Important news drifts down to me in blogs, on twitter, facebook or online.
In fact, I absorb less of characters and storylines at this time of my life. I've pretty much seen or lived it all, in one form or another. You are gathering still.

"Gather ye rose-buds while ye may,
Old Time is still a-flying;
And this same flower that smiles today,
Tomorrow will be dying."

can you guys keep a secret? i bought, through amazon, a dvd of OTR and of course it wouldn't play because it is in European format. so i tried to watch it on my computer and a little message box popped up, asking, "do you want to switch to European format? to which i replied, why yes i do."

i have now seen it about a thousand times, KS's scenes anyway. personally, i didn't really like it that much. to me it is one of those movies where you have this epic book, genius director, wonderful cast, really strong adaptation for a screenplay, music, costumes, scenery, and it still didn't work. KS was outstanding in it, and yes i do tend to fast forward from KS scene to KS scene because they are riveting, and yes when i watch her scenes the little red devil and the little white angel from animal house do appear on my shoulders and fight it out, "take your shirt off; put your shirt back on," but that is a whole different commentary. i will say this, though as much as i liked it i would rank her performance below the ones in the cake eaters, speak, into the wild, WTTR, the runaways, and the yellow handkerchief.

Ginger and I had a discussion about us both being in agreement on the character of Dean. I disliked him almost from the start but when he leaves Carlo toward the end, it pushed me over the edge. Don't want to give to much away for those who haven't seen it yet.

@Frannie, I read 'Deviant' last Saturday, went to bed at 4.30 am. I liked it even though I'm not the biggest fan of BPOV stories. Much more of an EPOV fan. 'Barefoot in Texas' was good to read too. 'Pound of Flesh' has my vote as well. Damn, I have read so many good ones. Some of my favs are still 'Renfield and Chicklets', AHAShake, Education of Prof Cullen. The interactions between the guy are hilarious, I pissed myself reading AHAShake, specially when Edward meets Bella's parents, it's some of E's funniest innervoice battles.
You can find it on Perusing the shelves (fanfiction index Twilight) as Teambella23 pulled all her stories.

ROBERT: I'm so glad you got to see OTR SO MANY TIMES!!! I haven't seen it yet. Now that it's finally available on Sundance On Demand, I haven't had the time. Hoping the next couple of days. I'm not expecting too much of it other than KS's part. As for my favorite KS movie, it is Speak. I've seen it many times and also seen Adventureland many times. Adventureland is easier to watch because of the 80's music, has many great moments. I wasn't a big fan of JE in the movie and even less of a fan when he did the FB movie but I have to admit he's a good actor.

I think the best movie Rob has made so far is Bel Ami which probably brought him the least recognition. I thought it was great. 2nd would be Remember Me I guess.

I hope "our kids" are enjoying the day together. The pics we saw of her were yesterday, I think. Hopefully they're having a quiet day today ,.. maybe Rob is cooking on the grill? Not sure I can picture that!!!

Hi Liz, yes it is The Education of Professor Cullen. You will love it; it is so funny and adorable!

I too love Bel Ami. But my favorite RP flick is Water for Elephants. I thought he was absolutely wonderful in that role and if he had been cast opposite anyone besides Reese Witherspoon he might have even been better. This was such a beautifully filmed movie and I loved it. But Reese was too old and completely miscast as Marlena. Plus her chemistry with Rob was not romantic in nature. I know they had fun together and liked each other a lot, but they were not blazing up the screen in any size shape or form.
Remember Me is also a really good movie. Rob did a wonderful job in that film. Of course I have every movie he made, including one I had to send to England to get.

Huh. I must have a problem. I need to have that checked out one day. Probably. ;)

PAMH -- "waves" ... I look forward to reading TEOEC and also to seeing OTR.

FRANNIE -- LOL, if you have a problem, then there are too many of us with the same problem. I also loved WFE, just that I thought Rob acted more convincing and had a more challenging role in Bel Ami.

Hello Roselands! I was out today. With my family and babysitting. I have a great day and exhaust. But I talk to you guys. Anything new with our couple?

@gargamel ......so I'm sitting in the car on our way home from my sons baseball game, btw they won sectionals for second straight year, yeah....and I ask my daughter, who is a math wiz to the sickest degree....about tangent and it's relationship to a curve. She googled me a picture... needless to say I busted out laughing and she goes...is this about sex, and is this about Rob and Kristen. I was laughing so hard I couldn't answer! She was like OMG mom. she sadly just doesn't get it. I must say gargamel you were spot on in you description!!!

@Robert....I agree 100% about your analogy of last July. I have said from the beginning that it was a set up, I have always thought that LR had a part in it somehow, and Rupig let papz know their whereabouts. Such jealous and nasty people in the world.

Warm weather on it's way, sick of rain. I need to be biking. Just an FYI for everyone...flexaril is a great drug after you pull/strain a muscle in your back. Yep, I was done in by a 10 lb weight. Me, who conditions and lifts weights all the time. Funny how shit happens. I am better now and I did workout today. Getting old just sucks balls. Over it.

You have cool kids. Math Wiz and a BBall Champ. If she showed you something like a series of curves...dissected by a straight line (gives you the illusion of a moving bent hip/doggie)...that's the one.

I thought Rob was so terrific in Bel Ami. He really played that part so well which is against type as far as I know.

I also agree Water for Elephants was so great for him. Too bad they cast Reese as Marlena. Not that she isn't a good actress, she was just too mature for that role.

My favorite and first movie I ever saw Kristen in was Speak. She was so real in that movie. Next fav would be The Twilight Saga. She brought Bella to life for me and she was dedicated to give the fans of the books a REAL Bella. Next is Adventureland.

tufenuf55 said...

Forgot to mention that I haven't seen Remember Me. I know how it ends and I just can't bear to see that happen. I know, I'm just a sap!

I agree with your take on last year's incident. And that LR had a part in it.

gargamel said...

I liked her in The Messengers and Speak and Catch That Kid.

I may be desperate or delusional, or both, but know what? I really hope that truck contains Kristen's stuff... T^T When they first broke up a truck was seen out of Rob's house, they said it was Rob moving out, but why would he leave his own house? I guess that's what gives me hope... Kristen moving back in that house? *sigh* I keep on looking for her golden ring but the recent pics are not clear and that wedding rehearsal visit with Katy Per is adding to my delusions, if that is even true!

This feels like a calm before a storm and I sense a very big one! I've already accepted that if they really did break up, it's their decision and I've gotten over it, but definitely not completely! If I see them with someone else seriously it will just break my heart T^T....

Anyways, something's going on, I just hope when it does reveal itself and bring lots of tears for all of us, hope it's happiness...

Ginger, I think you are absolutely right that some fans still have unresolved feelings about July. That explains why they are all so quick to believe the stories they read in the tabloids and on gossip sites. And like a game of telephone every "sighting" on Twitter helps the disease spread.

@Frannie and LizzieD,
did you ever read 'Renfield and Chicklets' by Katinki? Absolute brilliant story. If you like the Edward from TEOEC, you'll love this E too, he made me laugh my head off with his inner musings/habits and it's all EPOV. The sad thing is, is that the chastity group on FF have pulled it but you can find it on Perusing the Shelves (like most pulled ones)
One of my all time favs is 'Last Tango in Forks' by Awesomesauce76, I must have read it like 3 times now. I love the way it's written: EPOV/BPOV/3rd person intertwined with each other.

Dear Rose, what you see now? Isn't it enough? RPatz and Katy... wow.. Didn't Kristen have enough humilation?

Anonymous said...

Sue, I have read it and loved it! Last Tango in Forks is one of my all time favorites as well. I really love stories that have a nice balance of all the good stuff; not too heavy on the angst and seasoned with lots of humor. But there have been some hurt comfort drama fics that I have adored as well as some very angsty ones. I guess it all depends on my mood. But they've got to be well written in order to hold my interest. I like stories that are carefully plotted and well paced. I don't mind an author who takes their time in writing them so much as I hate it when they've hit a block then rush to the finish line just to get it over with.

When I first started reading and writing ff I was more interested in AU fics. I loved, loved, loved the lolashoes trilogy. I have all her stories and still read them from time to time. Windchymes is another author I like; she refuses to give up her vampire and writes the best Edwards!

Good morning!
I read somewhere that Jules Stewart tweeted, "Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive." I wonder what, if anything, she was referring to with respects to R&K?

For the record there have been times when I think this entire thing with them recently has been some elaborate rouse to actually help them re-gain their privacy.

@ Tufenuf Bel Ami is the kind of period piece that I adore, but that is not for everyone. I wonder what happened to the play version that Rob had initially agreed to star in once it was over. I read that it was a part of his original contract when he signed for the movie deal. I think it was supposed to be a single performance?

Sue from Holland said...

@Frannie, ditto on the stories. I love a good balance. Don't like them too sentimental. I only recently found Lolashoes' stories as they where pulled a long time ago but I haven't started reading them yet. A long lost story I was dying to read was Clipped wings, Inked Armor by Hunterhunting which I found as well and man it certainly filled my expectations, wow. It has everything.

It's an interesting point you make on R&K but how will they regain their privacy, it only got worse and worse?
It was always my fear, specially after all the bull and pressure from last summer, that that pressure and attention would break them, that it would wear them down, get tired, trying so hard not to give the media anything and by doing this lose their focus on their relationship.
They really have been put through the wringer by us and the media since last summer, I don't know how in the hell they managed to live and breathe and not go totally mental. They are so young and having to live with all that hate and scrutiny plus being who they are, very private, it just makes me very sad sometimes. You know everybody has a breaking point and sometimes enough is enough.

Good Morning everyone

@ Frannie
Regardless of whether Jules was referring to RK the webloids and tabloids wll post it and make it about them anyway.
After the weekend off the stories will be cranked out in full force today, probably.

@ Robert
If I haven't mentioned this to you already you should check out Wisp by Cris it is still a WIP but it is unlike any Edward and Bella story that I've read so far.
As you can see a lot of us can rec enough stories to keep anyone reading for the next year. I think it was you who posted about this earlier, there is nothing I dislike more than getting envolved in a story and the Author just abandons the story or takes a year to update.

@ Annie
Hello
Is someone's post the reason for .....hmmmmmm

Morning PamH:
To your question, the answer is yes.

Sue from Holland said...

My English is ok but can anybody explain to me in plain English what exactly that expression means: "What a tangled web we weave first we practice to deceive". Specially the last part practice....deceive. It's not that I assume it's about R&K, I'm just wondering what it means.

@Robert, help! You are a prof in literature or not? Or are us girls talking too much about TEOEC that I'm mixing up my shit.

LizzieD said...

sue -- Regarding that phrase being tweeted by Jules ... I checked and I cannot any tweet from her in the past year where she tweeted that.

LizzieD said...

SUE -- I'll let someone like Robert explain the meaning, I'm not too good at that!!

Annie said...

Sue:
It's from a poem actually.
It means when you tell lies or act dishonestly you create problems or have an outcome that you have no control over and didn't anticipate happening.

"Marmion" by sir Walter Scott

it means exactly what Annie said it does...if if you try to hide the truth from people it just triggers a chain of events that get all fucked up or as Mark Twain put it. when in doubt tell the truth, it is easier to remember.

Annie said...

Robert: Sorry, I didn't see your earlier comment. .....Right now those Hmmm's are pouring out.

Hello Roseland!

Hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend.
Mine consisted of family, friends, water, sun, boat, beer, grilled cheese hot dogs, baked bbq potatoe chips, more sun and me emerging...looking and feeling like a boiled lobster.

Robert, hmmm...by your questions to me, I can only guess that you were being a smart ass or a needy sorta fellow. So, I'm gonna assume a smart ass...cause needy is so exhausting. LOL!!! But yes, to the first part of your question, and anyone else that my comments might have affected in a negative way.
So, are we good now? :)

Super, hugs!

Awww DK, I luv ya too! pssst...dollspirit is no more, poof! Tis only me.

Pisteuo said...

Oh...and Ginger, thanks for undersanding my comment. :)

And Em, I'm good. Just sore right now. LOL!! I hope your arm is all better and you are back at work now. Hugs!

Sue from Holland said...

@Annie and Robert, thanks very much. You both explained it perfectly. Very interesting phrase but I'm not gonna drive myself nuts and analyze it too much whether mom S said it or not.
I'm already slightly messed up in the head today as it is.
Every day I read the news on teletext, we also have the quirky news that isn't exactly news news. Well anyway the bloody Dutch report on Perry and Robert made by Perry's friend. I don't want to be confronted with that shit, specially when I'm of guard, whether it's true or not. I'm gonna end up boycotting everything and poor little me is gonna end up all cut off from the world. Well I'll always have you ladies/gents.

Pisteuo said...

Sue...it's better to be cut off from the world than to be fed a shit load of false reality...right?
Besides "we" ARE the world...not gossip spreaders and the fucked up shit that spews from them.

Anonymous said...

Hi Pist. I agree with you more. Some of this world has full of hate and trouble. But with you guys I love talking to you guys and I am glad I am joining you guys.
Sue- quit reading the sob gossips. If I were you I would boycot the tabloids. They give nothing but hate, hurt, and pain for our couple.
Sorry I was taking a break. I was watching a rerun of Seven of Heaven. They do have a meaningful.
