Someone close to me has a terminal illness.
I have some travel coming up.

Hello to all the Roselands! I just got home from work. Anything that I missed. Any news? In my neighborhood there were little ducklings we had to call the animal control to take them to some lake. They are so cute. I am just glad that they are safe.

He works at L A Sentinel Newspaper He has a friend who works with the disgusting papshits. I ask if he saw any of the pics of Rob or Kristen. He said he yeah. He saw the one of her from last night. I ask if it was the same hat. he said it is the same hat. He had seen the ones of Rob taking stuff to his house. They made it up. He was not leaving Kristen. a couple of years ago i was in the french quarter with my closest friends. i had forgotten to take my medicine and i was bent over and could hardly walk more than 10 steps without having to sit down. people in the quarter were laughing at me and my friends got really pissed, even threatened to beat the hell out of them.....really made me laugh out loud. i said "guys, i am trying to get from point A to point B here and i don't give one good goddam about some assholes in the quarter" life is too short to give a fuck about that kind of shit

lastly, [you know i love ya, and you know i'm kidding with you] saying Louisiana cooking is like saying a Louisiana accent, it differs everywhere you go. creole is tomato based and found mainly in new orleans, cajun cooking is found in acadiana and it is roux based and consist mostly of rice and gravy, but blackened fish etoufee, red beans and rice.etc. you can find all this stuff in new orleans but only because a lot of the restaurants moved to new orleans because people can't deal with anything having to do with louisiana unless it comes from new orleans

Vernistene- I am defendly going to have this knee problem for a long time. Its arthritis. There is nothing to be done. Except for exercise in the water I heard that helps. And keep losing the weight. At least I could do.

When I let myself get out of shape and quit regular exercise, many of my joints hurt. I started lifting weights,cycling, and lost weight. I take glucosamine chondroitin and Aleve in the morning. I have no joint pain. I know I am older than you, so you might want to give it a try. Good luck.

Sigh, I said it yesterday because it bugged me, I got the reason behind it, I got what it was and I have never been accused of being not vocal. I expressed something that was bugging me and don't want Annie to be flamed for something I said, she is someone I value greatly as a friend outside all of this. This isn't about anything other then that, we all have friends here that we talk too and some of those fiends here extend outside of this blog and outside of this fandom, friends that will be friends for years to come. Hell several of us are planning on meeting up and hanging out (get drunk and burn the town of choice where we meet down). Holy and I tearing LA down next year and then we are coming for Karen in NJ, might have to take a pit stop and grab DK while grabbing Annie then having Robert show us the in and out of New Orleans (I obviously need to be educated lol). Liz is always working or has her parents to look after but hell they are going to have to deal with my heathen children disguised as angles. Anyone would be welcome in the fun and it will be one hell of a time.

The recriminations you leveled at us were misplaced and sadly, you are unwilling to admit that even after people, in sincerity, assured you that was not their motive.

As for everyone else Hi and Hugs. Next month my aunt is coming from LA for the first time visiting me. Then first week of August I will be going with my family to Yellowstone. Which I have never been there before. Anyone know what its like. Its my first time. I am excited. The only thing I won't be bringing my laptop. And what it sucks I don't Iphones til November. That is when my contract is up on Tmobile. We are going to change it because they are charging up. And they don't upgrade free every year or two. Which it suck. Charging us same price as we are paying our house rent or something. Then I got my daughter's birthday that month in August. We are figuring out what to do that day.

I don't recall saying anything was a joke. I believe I said that we were mocked and called clucking hens who run back to the hen house, so instead of being offended, we decided to have fun with the whole thing and make it our own. If need be, I'll go back and find my comment because at this point I don't remember exactly the wording.
The point is a number of us pop in here just to connect with those that we don't see next door...is that better than the coop?
Our silly banter is nothing different that what it had always been and anyone can join in, but everyone disappears when we show, fine, that's your business. There are a number of us that don't care to dissect hats, and rings, and facial expressions. We don't think May was the worst month of the year because Rob and Kristen appeared to make some changes in their life. We didn't stop eating or sleeping last July either...tho a weight loss might have been nice.
Once again, we set up a book blog where we happen to discuss whatever we want. No hidden agenda, all are welcome.

Seems like I've missed a lot going on in this blog these last few weeks that I was struggling (and still am) with RL. I've been able just to lurk occasionally and read a comment here and there.
It was good to see posting some ladies that haven't posted for a while. The more the merrier, I always say.
I don't quite grasp the reason for this drama. Why can't this blog continue to be a nice, safe place for Rob and Kristen's fans? Everyone's free to post and comment on whatever they like, but obviously some comments created all this mess. It's not on me, of course, to say to anyone what to post or what to say. But some comments can be considered offensive. Oh, I know, what I say with my friends can be consider much much worse than what is going on here, but the difference is that my friends know me and I know them. What I'll take as a joke from a friend, won't be taken as such from a stranger that sits on their pc somewhere on the other end of the world. It's just as simple. That's why I try not to be offensive towards anyone, because I don't want anyone to be uncomfortable because of me, no matter of my good intentions.
To be honest, I feel like this is not a very friendly place any more. I'm not a regular poster, but I'm a regular lurker. I'm sure many many others all around the world are just like me. Well, all these poignant comments and rivals just puss people away. I'm sure noone really cares if I stop visiting because I feel uncomfortable being here, noone but me LOL. But I have a feeling many others feel like me.
It's wonderful people who haven't commented on this blog for a while are back. I just hope them coming back won't puss away some others. Everyone's welcomed here, right?
On a lighter note, I'm happy Kristen looks good and smiling. I can't help missing Rob, though. I hope he's good and smiling too!

I had such a good time the other night seeing old friends and now I see all of this! My visit had NO AGENDA, at all! I was just happy to see everyone! I was surfing, saw some old friends and decided to say hi. I personally felt like it was a blast from the past...the old Roseland that I loved and miss.
Why would anyone of us disrespect or mock Rose??? I truly don't get where all of the accusations are coming from. As far as avi's go, mine is always the same no matter which blog I visit. It is automatic so if people's avi's were set, why would they change them just to visit Roseland? Just to start trouble? No, I don't think so! I'm no computer whiz so maybe I'm wrong but from my experience, my avi stays the same.
For the record, my remark about haters sucking it was directed at the trolls and people who are nasty about R and K. When I used to post and fight the trolls, I would end with that remark. My comment was not at those who think there are "sides" here.

My whole house except for two rooms is now a lovely tumbled rustic travertine marble look porcelain tile in a light off white linen color. Feels and looks like I am in sunny Spain or Italy. When this happened there were disagreements, head butting, each side trying to get their side heard.
There were hurt feelings and arguments, but through it all I respected you. I know that probably doesn't matter to you, but I did. Last night, when you and Holy were talking about how you didn't like what I said to Topaz on Twitter about the MURDERER and his victims on the blog because it was too long and too sad. I lost every ounce of respect for you.
She basically said that those people deserved to die, and THAT is what you want to defend? An innocent daughter and her fiance of a man who this murderer thought had done something to him? I lost all respect for you because of those comments. As for you moving on..HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...You and your friends spend endless hours on the same piece of gossip. Which is perfectly fine, if you're the only people on the blog. BUT you aren't. Well pretty much you are now because people have gotten tired of the endless gossip and constant digging up and dragging into the blog every horrible thing said about Kristen on the internet.
Since we're putting it all out on the table and having a WONDERFUL discussion about things...let's put honesty out there too. You and others came onto a well established blog, a blog and then slowly began to dictate the subject matter, what YOU were and were not comfortable with, how things should be. Oh not at first of course, it started off slow..and when other people began leaving the blog, it suddenly changed. We were not allowed to like Rob...no we had to like Kristen regardless of the blog subject. Some of us were not disliking Kristen we were expressing our upset. But that was taken to mean that we were horrible, awful people who must be stopped.
Our friction started whenever a few of us stood up for Rob. We didn't feel like he had to do one damn thing to prove anything to anyone that he didn't want to and suddenly we were horrible...need I remind you that the blog is about Rob? Why did it shock you to find Rob fans there? There were no closet nonstens, but hey guess what we're a bunch of women who sought out a site dedicated to Robert Pattinson and we stood up for him and were suddenly the BAD GUYS. GO FIGURE.
Then there was the 'cool' down time for those of us who were angry with Kristen..I won't explain myself to you as to why I was cause frankly I don't have to.....but as we were beginning to cool down, suddenly people began talking about Kristen as if she were some kind of sexual object...saying at one point and I realize this wasn't you....but one of the others did...that they wanted to climb between her long legs. You're a mom, would you like someone to say that about your child? I know you wouldn't. So all of the mothers with daughters out there...not me....were upset and commented and suddenly the fight was on...BECAUSE we didn't want Kristen treated in such a disrespectful manner. We were the bad guys. We tried to express our thoughts and concerns but all that accomplished was hateful comments from you and the others. So yeah we began to get crankier...notice I said Crankier....and we began to fight you.

Note 2: part two...yes I realize I used Tuff's name in this note but it was in a good way saying I respected her for standing up when Topaz made her comments and I also used Gargamel...I stand by my comments.

I've never been able to understand how it is that someone can call themselves a fan and yet, not care about the PERSON..not the public image...but the PERSON. Do you think Kristen was jumping for joy when she saw those pictures and knew that there is no where in this world that she can go and not be seen?
The James Franco pictures...again...Kristen...dress hiked up, ass showing....OBJECTIFYING her as nothing more than a sexual object to a guy who has bragged that he sometimes masturbates all day long. So PLEASE forgive me if I was upset when I saw them. I don't like him, he's a pervert. I also think that he is more interested in Rob than Kristen, but you have the right to feel the other way.
LASTLY. The comments about Topaz...you said there are no black and white issues. BULLSHIT. MURDERING INNOCENT PEOPLE BECAUSE YOU'RE PISSED OFF AT THE WORLD IS BLACK AND WHITE. THERE IS NOT GRAY. The daughter of a police captain and her fiance were murdered and Topaz said "Sometimes people deserve to die" and not ONE of you with the exception of Tuff stood up and told her she was wrong.
So frankly Ginger, I don't care what your opinions of me are, and yes I will be blocking you after I send this letter to you, not because I don't care about what you have to say, but simply because I'm afraid of what I will say in response.

That blog is not rank and file or about entitlement - it is a place where everyone should be able to go and enjoy the people and talk about Rob and Kristen without feeling attacked from people that are supposedly supportive of them too but instead people fear talking or sharing because they feel they are going to be bashed and run off like others have before. I always hope for someone/thing to get through to them but I've never witnessed so much bigotry in my life and I've been around a while, it's sick and seriously some of them should be locked up.

I hope that things in your personal life are getting better. We all have been thinking about you and wishing you and your loved ones well.
I am someone who usely doesn't do conflict unless I see someone I consider a friend being treated unfairly. But to me there was no conflict really until someone decided that another posters use of the term "our kids " wasn't to their liking and voiced their opinion about it but what some people fail to realize is that some people who visit this blog ON A DAILY BASIS for whatever reason doesn't have children of their own and has watched these two people grow into adults and has grown to think of them as you would your own kids and there is absolutly nothing wrong with that. As people started to say there is nothing wrong with using this saying and it's not offensive to Rob or Kristen the more people came on the blog and added pics to their accounts that were never used before. Then the posts became about other things that many of us were left catching our heads as to what the older commenters even were talking about.
I'm not sure were the idea that any of us newer posters ever came to take over or held up for Kristen and not Rob because I've been here for at least a year as a commenter and from the time I started this blog was already a RK fan blog regardless of the name and many of the pics that was discussed is used by Rose in her updates often.
I've never got the impression that Ginger EVER decided to be the new leader, we all know who's blog this is, if anything most of us here has personally sought out Ginger for information and her opinion.. She just happens to have more MOXY than most of us here and stands up for herself and others but she has never tried to force her beliefs or opinions on any of us here..
I'm confused as to why some of you choose to only come and comment every few months when there seems to be a disagreement and not comment when we are all sharing music, movies, books, life and family on a daily basis.
Everyone on here comes from different places and different life experiences and that is what makes coming here fun besides our common reason to be here ( our love of Kristen and Rob ) and want to stay here. I look forward to hearing from everyone here everyday and miss some when hey haven't checked in for a week or so.
I'm done with my soapbox because no one may care in the long run but it would be sad for some people to leave over things being said by people who say they willingly left this blog to begin with.

Which I didn't understand it at first why I was in there. Til I found out in High school that I had a learning disability. Alot of students treated me like everyone else. I didn't want people to feel bad about me just because of that. I used worried that they will make fun of me or that I won't have friends. Then later in High School I started making friend. I just like be treated like everyone else. I don't people that because of that. Like Robert with his condition. That is why I give him a good comment and advice. I don't know if you notice before when I given him a good comments. So treated me like everyone else.
