I watched The Runaways this past week...honestly, I thought Kristen was inspired in her portrayal...how can anyone not recognize the amazing talent in this young lady?? She seems to just lose herself in the characters she portrays...
Has anyone heard whether she'll take on the part of Snow White?..I don't know why, but I have a "really good feeling" about that role for her...(I know, that phrase is SOOO overused, but in this case, I couldn't come up with anything more appropos!)
Hope you all are having a warmer evening than me...I realized about 2 hours ago that the pilot light blew out on the furnace...so, no heat for awhile. Fortunately, it's now relit, and I'm getting feeling back into my fingers... Yikes...when will this winter end?

Ted is a gossip columnist on e-online (otherwise known as a shit-stirrer). He's infamous for making stuff up to get "hits" on his site, and he's evidently found Kris & Rob to be his "cash cow"...Believe me, if you haven't seen his site, you are most definitely not missing anything!

A couple of film outlets have said Kristen signed to play SW. But that being said nothing "official" has come out yet. So we shall see.
The Runaways was really good. I like JJ's music (I grew up in the 80's)but really didn't know where she got her start. So this movie was interesting to me. Kristen did a great job becoming Joan.
Super- If you look up a picture of a troll then you will know what Ted looks like! He isn't worth anyones time. His latest Kristen BS was debunked already. He knows that R/K are where the majority of his paycheck comes from. So to keep a paycheck coming, he keeps stirring the BS pot.

Kenzz- Cape Coral is further south from me. It's a really pretty area. I think the west coast of Florida is much prettier than the east coast.
I'm sure after this very cold and snowy winter Cape Coral in August is looking great!

Was today the first time u saw the runaways?
Loving the runaways talk, excellent film! I love that type of music and I was a fan of JJ but didn't ever bother to learn her roots so I enjoyed that aspect of it and how it opened my eyes to the runaways music. I think I ended up seeing the movie 7 times in theatres, absolutely loved it. Kristen, Dakota and Michael Shannon nailed it!
GROOVIE..You really liked that movie!!!..I dont want to even confess how many times I went to the theater to see ECLIPSE, 3 times with my husband and then about 4 or 5 times by myself..on the sly..heh...Sorry you had such a long day. Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Yes, I really did love it!
I was a manager at a movie theatre for 7 years, saw everything for free and got paid to watch a lot of films. So I was used to seeing anything I wanted, as many times as I wanted for free. That was a hard habit to break when I quit! Now that I have to pay for movies I'm much more selective with what I see, but I'll still see something multiple times if I really like it.

Dottie, Super and Groovie – I really enjoyed the performances in the Runaways as well. I confess I had a bit of a hard time totally relating to it, as it was totally foreign to my experiences growing up, but I can truly appreciate what JJ did to trailblaze a path for women in music.

It was an interesting job, I loved it. Got it when I first turned 16 and worked my way up quickly. It was a really small theatre & we were all close like family, had some really good times & crazy stories to tell. I actually would love to write a script about working in a theatre, so much crazy stuff happens.
And believe me, even getting paid to watch some movies was torture! I had to build the films & screen them to make sure the prints were good & that there were no issues. Some were so bad I actually would go upstairs and turn the sound down low so I didn't have to hear it anymore lol!
Actually, one of the films I had to build & screen was Kristen's "Catch that Kid" I was looking thru some pictures the other day and came across some of me & my old theatre buddies & we had promo stuff up for "catch that kid" and had a cardboard kristen hanging from the ceiling and it was in all my pix. I was like "what?! Is that little kristen?" So random!

Yep, 3 snow whites.
They won't really compete with each other as the films & release dates are so different.
The problem could be like snow white overkill, if one sucks then could it negatively impact another? Possibly. Or it could bode well for the other cuz people would go see it to see if its better.
Plus like I said, they are all different.

Relativity - julia roberts confirmed as the evil queen. Is supposed to not follow the classic fairy tale but put a modern twist on it & focus on comedy & adventure. It is supposed to be in 3D and comes out june 2012
Snow white & the huntsman - charlize, viggo & kristen rumored.
This one sounds the best (and no not just cuz I'm a kris fan lol) it seems to follow the dark undertones & story of the original fairytale
Comes out Dec 2012, 6 months after the other one.
So the one with julia won't really compete with snow white & the huntsman as they are released 6 months apart & seem pretty different in regards to story & content. (And talent, might I add)

Free popcorn sounds amazing for like the first week until you start making your car & home start smelling like it and you find it in unlikely places, like your bed! Little fuckers get all inside your pockets and inside your shirt and you end up with popcorn literally just falling out of you! Lol!

Groovie, what great memories of a fun job at the theatre! It put a smile on my face. I had a similar experience. I started working when I was 14 for the local Parks and Rec. Worked for them for 8 years at the community swimming pools life guarding. It was one big happy family, and never seemed like work. It payed for two college degrees and my dearest friends, with whom I still keep in touch, were from those days.
