The ring is lovely, antiquey, and very sparkly.
There were about 60 peeps all in costume, and Italian beef sandwiches, pizza, and pasta. Perfect!
I was greeted in my Sylvia Fine costume with, "Where's your costume?", meaning I looked like my silly self. It was a joke!
Almost won a prize for the "Most Pesty" because of begging for one, and nagging like Sylvia did, for everyone to get married and have kids. I nailed that role.
So much, fun, happy, smiling and gratitude was the result.

My son was also chosen years ago, when it was only $6000 (hahaha) but he decided not to go. He had a problem leaving the family back then, for trips, etc.

Then, I saw another trailer advertising Water For Elephants coming out on DVD.

I'm thinking about going to sleep but will answer your question.
My son, B, is a romantic it seems, and I was surprised. His fiancee, J was surprised and even she surprised us, a bit.
She didn't answer him for about 20 seconds, and I was getting nervous, and then she said yes.
Later, she told me that one of their friends offered $500 to her, if she would initially say no to him, for fun. It did give her pause though, literally, for that is a nice chunk of change.
I'm so glad she didn't do that, and so is she, for we both are convinced he would have been cut to the quick and mad as hell-goodbye engagement.
The wig was a hoot, oh, yes! Maybe I'll go out tonight for dinner and sit at the bar with it on. After all, it is the actual Halloween!

Been MIA for the last week. Work took over every other part of my life. Thankfully the store is finished and now I can have my life back (or so I hope).
Lots of really great things out of the European leg of the tour. Rob looked fantastic (PL "the jaw" it's the 8th wonder of the world I tell you ha,ha). The things women do to try to get his attention (a pink vibe really???? SMH).
Kristen's Glamour shoot was great. Beautiful as always. Woman can't take a bad photo, I swear.
Anyhoo excited for all the stuff this week. Kristen will be back in the states (miss seeing her!).
Glad to see Rob made it back safely to LA. Wishing safe travels for "the misses" when she heads back (if she hasn't already gotten here by now).
Tom looks quite distinguished in that on set photo. Hope he is enjoying this new venture.

This was our first Halloween here & we weren't prepared for the influx of trick or treaters. Mr Dottie had to make a candy run! Son2 left in his regular clothes but came home in a banana costume... never a dull moment...
