This is one of my favorite pictures of Rob and Kristen.
It was the beginning...
I really don't have any pithy comments anymore.
I'm kinda tired of the endless twitlongers
expressing anger/sadness/regret
about something that doesn't concern us.
I'm tired of all the judgement and accusations
about a relationship that we have only seen minutes at a time.
I'm tired of the undeserved hatred that Kristen Stewart has been
getting in this fandom from day one.
I'm tired of the assumptions and speculation made by
people who just want to profit off other peoples pain.
I'm tired that people seem to forget that Rob and Kristen
are flawed human beings...
and they have feelings just like you or me.
All I will say is that I want Rob and Kristen to find happiness
Wherever that road leads.
Yes.
I think when they come out on the other side...
They will be together.
But that's just me.
This fandom is incredibly selfish.
We don't want what is best for Rob and Kristen
We want what is best for us.
Let's face it...
The outcome we desire
whatever that may be
Isn't based on what will make Rob and Kristen happy...
It's what will make us happy.
I just want them to be OK.
No matter what I want or think will happen.
They deserve happiness.
I want people to just fucking leave them alone.
Rob is going to be on TV next week
promoting Cosmopolis.
I wish people could just focus on that.
I wish people could let Rob do his job
without having to put up with people screeching at him
about private intimate parts of his life...
Like they think they are entitled.
Next week is about Cosmopolis.
Rob is proud of this movie.
Rob is so proud of this movie that he is willing
to subject himself to some of the worst
this fandom has to offer.
Good Luck Rob.
I hope you have a LOT of security around you.
(and maybe some silver bullets?)
(and maybe some silver bullets?)
Final thoughts.
Normally I wouldn't post a pap picture of someone's baby...
But since you can't see baby Marlowe
I wanted to comment on something that I love about this picture
(Besides Tom... hair knot and all)
How protective Thomas is.
Look at him.
His arm is wrapped around the handle of the buggy...
He is holding on tight to his little girl.
He is holding on tight to his little girl.
How fucking adorable is that?
How adorable is HE??
Green Sheep.
Fucking forever.
2. I leave for Hawaii tomorrow morning.
I will be gone a week.
So...
I doubt I will be posting anything in that time.
Unless I'm sitting in a chair like the picture above
(which I plan on doing a lot, I may add)
and I get on my Ipad and post a picture or two.
It will definitely be hit or miss.
I have a dear friend watching the blog for me.
So all is taken care of.
Aloha!
Until next time.
Bye for now
And if you don't know where you're going
Any road will take you there

That should have read "false eyelashes" vs. "fake" in my last comment. I knew it sounded wrong when I wrote it.
@marley...I had about 100 at mine 17 yrs ago. Thats a good size. It was mostly family. We both come from large families.
I wonder what a $7000 cake tastes like.
Hi DK, glad you had some good sleep. Guess you'll be keeping the blog going tonight, as usual, LOL.
Perdido -- I haven't played much Pinterest, only have gone there when following a link but I can't imagine something else to "suck time" with my schedule.
I'm lucky to be having fun with you fine folks, much less looking somewhere else of ideas. The ladies here probably have GREAT ideas about party stuff, not to mention great recipes, right?
We MUST make 3000 for Rose. She'll kill us ...
Maley and Maria - Perdido is right - Pinterest is a MAJOR time suck. It's my Sunday afternoon guilty pleasure.
Meadow, once you get the hang of it, you'll be hooked like we are.
yes I have heard of pintrest but haven't really looked at it but I see people talking about it alot. I figure if I can figure out these damn invites then the only other stress will be the video. I wanted to do one that has usual few baby, childhood photos/videos then have photos throughout the 8 years of dateing and of course a few family ones and wedding photos with music and this is the hard part cuz I am not awesome at slideshow/videos. I wanted to have a recording of us reading like the last line or two of our vows to end the video.
It seems that the more over-the-top the wedding, the shorter the marriage lasts.
Hi DK! Lovely lady...do you have today's selections picked out yet?
Good question Birdie. It better be a wonder cake at $7,000 - best tasting with no calories...or something.
My daughter is a makeup artist and when she started about 5 years ago the very first bride she did got sick and threw up all over the place...no joke...but I have to say that didn't deter her and nowadays she has got a very good client base...lol
Hi DK and LITMOM
100 is totally reasonable for you to do this. Just don't try to make it impressive, just make it about the two of you. At a friend's wedding they did lots of personal things-like each table was one of their favorite bands and they gave everyone a cd with all their best music as favors. I still have it and listen to it--pretty affordable to do. There was one for a couple that traveled alot and the placemats were photocopied maps-sounds weird but it was cool then every table was a place they visited. I don't know if you are into the theme thing or not. That can get a little cheesy but if you have that kind of thing it might be a place to start.
@Perdido
Of course I know that! I meant the wine.
@Birdie
My muse!
I owe return emails to several and will get right to that in about an hour..
Love ya all.
@Perdido~I totally love the term "time suck"...I will have to use that one.
BTW, I lover Pinterest too...they have great teaching ideas!
BIRDIE
That is a great question about the cake. I am sure it tastes ...better...but $7000.00 better.....that would be hard for me to believe !!!
Marley,
You absolutely need Fio to do the video. A little geographic problem, but she is the best.
Meadow you're here..I've missed you off and on the whole weekend. LOL Mr. Oneheart got tickled. I was texting you and Litmom both at the same time. He said wow she's fast because I had just sent your text. I said that's Litmom.
Believe it or not he knows both of you and a few others I text. He'll say that one is from Georgia and that one is from Washington State. That one is from California. Good thing sometimes I need him to keep my head straight. LOL
Marley-what kind of phone and laptop/desktop do you have. If its a mac there are REALLY easy ways to do a video like what you describe with certain apps. If its a pc-I bet there are simple ones out there for that too. Don't stress-it doesn't have to be perfect you know? Just make it from your heart and it will be great.
LITMOM
Thanks for the warning!
Oneheart~there you are! I was just about to tell everyone about your 50 Shades board on Pinterest.
The $7000 wedding cake better taste like filet mignon. LOL
Fio is a great idea for the video--she's so talented.
One of our clients at the business, she and her husband have a BBQ catering business.. She was in the other day and we were talking...they have fed 8000 people at one time!! I'm like, my God...how can that be done??? Their food is quite good:)
That's very nice Perdido about the CDs, etc....I think when enough thought is put into it that it's not cheesy but of course one of my sisters friends...her brother married a girl who loved Barbie dolls and she carried one down the aisle with her and the whole place was decorated with them...sigh..
"that one is from Washington State" HAHA.
Yes, and 26 years ago, I got married outdoors in a beautiful grove of trees in Washington State. And it didn't rain. Some other time I will talk about it.
Super - the husband went along with all the Barbie dolls??? That's love! LOL.
Bet you money Fio would do a viseo for you. And Perdido is right - a theme makes it personal, and long as it's not TOO cheesy.
Ours was bird's nests. Sounds goofy, but my daughter made bell jars with bird's nests in them for some of the table, and we had birds nests scattered and nests on the programs, gift tags for the favors, goodie bags for the hotel guests...
Our favors were pralines made from my mom's recipe - with the recipe included in the little muslin bag that the praline was in.
ok so let me start with the 34,000 dress and 7,000 dollar cake. Holy shit!! LOL wow I don't like to call my self cheap but I love to find a deal.
Perdido funny you say that. my favorite season is fall. that is when I orginally wanted to get married so for my party that is the main decor. fall colors my favorite color is "coral pink/ornage". Like color my shoes in my pic. So i love simple and photos. I LOVE photos.
Maria yes I have a big family but yah its mostly family and close friends.
Litmom I love your idea on the photo frames
Birdie I know right!! I love her vids.
Oh Super, now that is just so weird! That man must really love her.
Perdido YES we both FREAKED out at them for now telling us. seriously trust me!!!! typical guys they laughed and said they were sorry and slipped in "we thought you knew"
MEADOWGIRL
Does it rain all the time as they say??? You were brave I would say to plan an outside wedding...lol..Glad it worked out!
FREDDIE
I wasn't there but yes, that's what I understand...lol... I guess they went on the honeymoon also.
See litmom~I told you~you could be a wedding planner!
Barbie dolls? LMAO, No, just no!
There's so many neat things on Pinterest. I've only had one thing that scared me. I am absolutely terrified of spiders. I don't care if they are alive or in a picture. I freak out.
I was skimming through some of the boards and OMG there was the biggest ugliest spider posted with directions how to kill them or keep them away from house. Well I don't know about killing them but that darn well put me under. The only good spider to me is a dead one.
Poor Mr. Oneheart has to stay up if I see one before I go to bed and make sure it is dead before I will turn the lights out. I won't take his word either, he has to show me the body. LOL
lol wish i had a mac but i have a HP.
Marley - The plans for your reception sound beautiful.
With the TV wedding, the mother of the bride didn't like the carpeting in the hall/hotel that they had rented so she replaced all the carpet for the occasion! LOL
super I don't mean to laugh but really barbies!
Yes, on the western side of the state, it rains ALOT and yes, everyone drinks COFFEE CONSTANTLY. It gets a little annoying to see everyone drinking their coffee all the time. LOL
On the eastern side of the state, it is more desert-like. No one ever talks about the east side. Washington state is divided down the middle by the Cascade Mts and the eastern side gets quite ignored.
The color is going to be awesome!--
They "thought you knew"?? Okay sure because every bride studies the freaking highway maps and closure schedules the day of her wedding???
A barbie wedding? That's just ...yea you want to say to each her own but didn't he feel like he was marrying a 5 year old or something?
And if you are into photos--maybe you could set up a photo booth thing. Do you know what I mean. You have a spot at the party with some props like hats and things and people can go in and pose. It gets more interesting as the night goes on and people get bombed but its fun. You could also do photos on glass and stuff-Pinterest will have lots of cool ideas for you.
Oh One Heart - we are kindred spirits. I hate spiders as well. I used to scan the ceiling each night before I went to bed when I lived at my parent's house cause I won't sleep if there was one in the room.
meadow -
I would definitely be an event planner if I could start all over again. Maybe in my next life...
The photo booth ideas sounds like great fun and a great way to remember the occasion.
Marley...I wanted an early fall wedding but somehow I ended up as I June bride...my colors were boring compared to yours...black and white...but I was going for "elegant", plus my maid of honor had her heart set on wearing a black dress. I had no bridesmaids...didn't want to deal with the drama...and me in white against the all black - hubbie and 8 ushers - looked cool in the pictures.
Well I should go-im almost out of gas and I was kind of hoping Rose or Tempest would show but guess I'm out of luck.
Take care everyone, have a good night.
Yes, we had our wedding in Seattle, OUTSIDE. A beautiful sunny day. 80 degrees. It can be done. We had a backup plan just in case. Everyone thought I was crazy, but I HAD to have my wedding outdoors. And it was, and it was beautiful.
Night Perdido. Have a good rest of the evening.
Maria - your wedding sounds like it truly was elegant. I'm sure the pictures are beautiful.
Well guys, I wish you were here with me....my hubs band is practicing here tonight...Just finished playing Spooky...lol...Other songs tonight have been Brown Eyed Girl, Third Rate Romance, they are doing well :)
Ladies it has been fun but I must finish up the laundry etc...Have a wonderful evening everybody!
Goodnight, Perdido, sleep well!!!
Good night Super - hope to see you soon.
Yeah, where is tempest? Rose is probably afraid to look at comments.
Bye Perdido :)
I have to go too...the men are getting restless for dinner. I'm not going to say a word about Dog-food sandwiches.
Oneheart~be good while I'm gone.
I might check in later. Hugs
Thanks Perdido for chatting and for all the ideas and again for the blessings!!! HOpe you have a great evening!!
Maria yes drama free is the way a wedding should be!!!
Super, have a good night!!!
Maria & Meadowgirl -- both weddings sound lovely.
ok need honest opinion here ladies. I don't want to have any alcohol at the party but have tea, lemonade, cider flavored water instead??
Hi ladies,
Happy Sunday to you. Never going to catch up on all the comments so...
Marley- Congrats on the wedding and good luck with the planning! If I were to get married I do the same thing as you. Marry privately (b/c the idea of people staring at me while I'm getting married makes me want to break out in hives) and then have a fun reception after the fact.
Freddie- My cousin did a Disney wedding and it cost 6 figures. I don't know how much the cake cost but I'm sure it was expensive and I remember we were discussing at our table how boring it was. I don't get lavish weddings to be honest. I'd rather spend the $ on a fantastic honeymoon. Just him and me.
Perdido- love the cd idea your friends had. I've got to remember that.
Super- Barbies? Really?
Since you all are talking wedding mishaps, both my siblings had them. My sister had one of her train-bearers throw up on all over the back of her wedding dress (poor little guy was so nervous).
My brother passed out 3 times during the ceremony. My poor sister in law was freaking out!
@litmom - Tempest just popped on twitter - I fell asleep again
I hate spiders...but my daughter freaks when she sees them. One day I had stepped out of the house to go down the street to the market. I got a text from her while I was in the produce section demanding that I come home to kill a spider that was on the kitchen ceiling. I told her I couldn't at that moment and told her to stay out of the kitchen until I got home. 15 minutes later...I am home and she's waiting by the garage door because she refused to be on the same floor as that spider. I avoided bringing to her attention the spider that was hanging out directly above her. I value by hearing.
Good night Super and Perdido.
How is it 7:30 and I'm tired? Has anyone seen Justified and do you know when the new season starts?
Melinda no that would be cause to freak out! lol wow. and that poor boy afterwards. awww
Melinda - so nice to see you. I totally agree about spending on the honeymoon vs wedding or a house vs. the wedding.
Your poor brother and sisters - funny now but probably upsetting at the time.
When are you heading off on your trip?
Marley - Sure! Serve the tea and lemonade in the big glass decanters with spouts.
@Perdido...Goodnight sweetie...pleasant dreams.
@Maria - I would freak if I lived down under with the funnel spider. I think the worst I have seen here is a wolf spider and that is just the sheer size of it but yeah - hate all insects and spiders are a very close 2nd to wasps
Melinda,
Now those would be awful. It might have been a little funny watching the groom pass out 3 times.
Maria - that's funny about your daughter and the spider over her head. I would have freaked as well.
Birdie - no I've never heard of Justified. Sorry I can't be of help.
Hey Sydney - hope you are well. Do you have no concern for your sister's heart?? LOL.
Marley...alcohol free sounds good especially if its an early wedding. Your beverage selection is fine...maybe some type of fruit punch too?
Wow Marley congratulations wow just u even kept it secret? lol how? that's pretty cool that u did it like u wanted n is that u n ur husband on the little pic? so beautiful
hii Mel lol got time to go talk at that place?
Litmom yah that is kinda what I was thinking. I just figured it went better with fall and I don't want to pay for the cost of others getting smashed and everything else that goes with it.
Marley- I agree with LitMom. It would look pretty and elegant w/o being overtly expensive. When is the reception?
Freddie- Glad to be able to just relax and chat. Real life over the last month or so has been a bit crazy but it finally getting back to normal. I leave on Thursday to head to Quebec. Flying out of Toronto on my way back home. Getting pretty excited!
LitMom- This is kinda random but I like the name you call your hubs. I don't know it's just cute to me. Like I said random.
Hey Em! Yeah I can. Give me a sec...
em lol it was soooo hard to keep, I had to tell someone. so I was able to tell a few people but no family knew. they said they guessed it. and yah that is us. thanks, I kept chaning cuz I couldn't make up my mind.
Melinda - if for some reason I don't get to chat with you before you leave, I just wanted to wish you a wonderful trip. I hope you enjoy it.
Birdie- The day of the wedding it really wasn't funny but now they get out the dvd and re-watch the whole thing in it's glory. LOL!
we are having it Oct. 5th this year. I hope we have a good long fall so I have nautarl decor outside.
Marley, I agree that alcohol-free sounds fine, especially if it's an early wedding. Perhaps some of that sparking grape juice for the toast ... tastes just like champagne, most people wouldn't know the different!!!
Let the guests go out afterwards and drink what they want!!! Their bill!!
Has anyone heard from Rose?
Freddie- Thanks! When I'm in Toronto I'll wave to you. :)
Marley- Fall reception sounds like a great time. Gorgeous colors...
thanks ladies!!!
melinda where are you going for you trip??
melinda nm i saw your post after mine
Maybe Rose is recuperating from the long flight?
Wow I'm still speechless like ur my hero! lol but now ur having the party n everyone is coming? That's so cool n u looked beautiful was it at a beach or lake?
Good night Super and Perdido sweet dreams.
Sydney OMG..if my sister did that to me I would just absolutely die. You know I read that we are never more than 6 foot away from a spider at any given moment and that we swallow an average of 8 in our sleep during our lifetime. OMG...I pray they don't have little ones. LOL
Maria bless your daughters heart..a spider right above her and she thought she was safe. LOL I love that story.
Melinda - it's a play on our last name :-) . He has nicknames for EVERYONE, so of course he has one himself.
Em thanks and it helped that I only had to keep it for 3 months. and yes we are hopeing everyone comes but with my side my aunts act like they are a in Highschool with stupid clicks of popular and outsiders. its annoying!! and since my mom is the outsider then I hope if they come they act their ages and dont bring drama
sorry it was in a rose garden just off a lake
LitMom- love it! I kinda thought it had something to do with baseball actually.
Aww I hope they act their age n no drama weddings r beautiful but omg it's stress like for real lol r u gonna wear the same dress or a new one or no wedding dress for the party? Lol sorry all the questions I just like to hear about weddings if their not mine hahaha
Marley, Em - What's a wedding without drama?
My SIL's family is HUGE, and couldn't figure out why we couldn't invite every friend and relative they had (they weren't paying...). Sooo - their list was
70% of the guests, ours was about 30%...we couldn't even invite friends we see all the time because they had too many people! And we invited 275 people!!
Marley your wedding sounded so pretty and so personal even with the hot weather and the road stuff going on it sounded perfect.
A fall theme sounds beautiful for the reception. So colorful with a warm and inviting feeling.
Em no worries!! no as much as everyone wants me to wear my wedding dress i'm not going to. I found to dresses last night and I couldn't decide so I got them both. lol they are little more than I planned on spending but I loved them and they will both look great with my shoes from the wedding. I plan on having my hair about the same as wedding and my daughter is going to wear "gracie's princess dress" as she calls it that I made for the wedding.
Em you are so funny..if they're not yours..What kind of wedding do you want when you get married a big one or a small one?
litmom wow that must have been a huge family holy cow. their would be no way around drama their.
Litmom that's alot of ppl! omg idk why invite so many? My idea only had 45 ppl n this place we love n so simple the only thing I wanted was really good food like the best n music those r the most important for me but then ppl started adding things to the list so idk we'll see
Marley -
Wear them both! Wear the dressiest at the beginning of the reception when you're eating and cutting the cake, then change for the "party'!
yes Em oneheart asks a good question??
Marley I love how you got involved in your wedding. I did mine too. I didn't want my wedding or me to turn into Bridezilla. Thirty five years ago we didn't have the Bridezilla term we could be called so I would have been the other B word. LOL
I think Im gonna!!!
Em -
My daughter and her fiance/husband wanted a BIG PARTY! They both have lots of college friends, and like I said, he has a big, big family. They didn't want super formal - just lots of fun. We had a bluegrass band, 2 guys did an acoustic set during the cocktail hour, we had LOTS of liquor flowing, really good Southern food.
We had the reception in an old Southern home, and everybody partied and danced until they kicked us out - then all the young people went back to the hotel (with my daughter and her husband) and they partied until about 2 in the morning in the hotel bar!
Then we had a brunch at our house the next day for about 75 people. It was a crazy weekend!
Marley ur gonna be so beautiful I'm sure n u made ur daughters dress that's so cool! from the pic I think I see ur hair was picked up to the side? so pretty
LitMom- Woah! That's a big family.
Marley- Hope they can be mature about things. It's your day after all. Love the princess dress. No matter how young or old we women love to feel like a princess sometimes.
If I ever get married I have the place picked out. Now I just need to find me a groom! ;)
Litmom u guys can party wow that's a wedding weekend lol sounds really fun
@Freddie-hello to you too.
@Ginger-Jean@coolmomjc
Em-
You and I are on the same wavelength with weddings. The smaller the better to me. Like I don't know, to me it should just be about us.
Melinda when you are not looking he will show up and sweep you off you feet.
Thanks Em I love the sound of your idea too!! are you engaged now??!!
@Ginger-I think I found you,is your avi a whiskey?
Mel I think abs guy is just waiting for the right time to pop up in ur life :)
Marley yea I'm engaged but just planning for now
ok so kinda random thought her but if possible would be awesome for wedding food. I love state fair and the food that goes with it. wouldn't it be awesome if a person could get all of their favorites at their wedding..OMG YUMM!!!
@Holy - yes ma'am it is - sorry lost in True Blood land
Melinda when you least expect it he'll be there. He's probably already looking for you.
My husband just appeared at my door when I was 18. I didn't even know him. His Uncle brought him over to meet me. I only knew his Uncle for a week. My now husband was down doing some deer hunting, he was from Baltimore. His uncle thought we should meet.
Wow...I could have kissed his Uncle right there on the spot, Wow is all I could think, he was eye candy for my eyes. He was also super friendly and had the most beautiful smile. Be still my heart. LOL
I knew immediately that he was the one, and he did too. We've been together ever since. I'm glad he went looking for the other type of dear..I was 20 when we married and I've enjoyed each and everyone of the 35 years we have had looking forward to many more.
So Melinda he will come..he may already be someone you have met or passed along the way, or he may be coming in your near future...you'll know it when he does.
Marley- Aw thanks. I need to hit up Meadowgirl or AliMac and see if they know any single men. I have a wee bit of a thing for those Irish men...lol
Em- Abs guy...Lord have mercy. He can pop up anytime! Although not sure his wife/girlfriend would like that...
Em CONGRATS!!! to you. It's so fun. how long do you have till your big day!!
Time for this schoolteacher to hit the hay.
Have fun tonight!
okay guys was good to talk n Marley so happy for u :) hope u all have a good night
Em-glad you are feeling better.
Litman-that sounds like a great wedding.
And still no Rose...seriously?
@Marley-congratulations.
@Liz-my god,your a busy girl,you must be young.
@I believe-yep,trust Super, she's recommending the good skin care ever OBAGI,I've been using it for 2 years now.
Melinda I hear ya mine is Irish too!! wish mine had the accent but i'm good with what I have.
OneHeart-
What a cool story about how you met your husband!
Thanks for the good thoughts for my future. I always thought I'd be just like my mom (marry young and raise a house full of babies) but it hasn't happened.
However I do enjoy being single so it's all good. If I'm meant to be someone's wife great, but if not it's cool. My life is pretty great right now.
Em yes have a great night.
thanks holy!
yes where is our Rose!! must be some jet leg
Em - I guess I missed your good news. Congratulations on your engagement.
Marley sorry I didn't see ur question before but yea we have a date was crazy how we picked it n I'm kinda nervous about the whole thing so we r working on it
em I'm with you I missed it as well. Congrats Freddie!!
@Ginger-I'm following you.I can't watch TV if I'm on line,so I recorded True Blood.
Em no worries and don't settle on a date until it feels right for both of you!! not matter how soon or far it is.
Perdido yea it's better :) n u?
Marley-
Yeah those brogues...ummmm
And don't get me started on kilts. Okay I need to stop now...ha,ha!
Thanks Freddie :) now for real I'm out bye guys
Hey yall:)
Just stopping by and enjoying reading all these wedding ideas. My own was on Dec. 22 so we had at least 10 or so Christmas trees set around our reception full of white lights. My mom's teacher friend arranged for us to have all of the classroom trees when they closed school for break, so it didn't cost us a cent. My mom did all of the food too, so it was really personal. My only advice would be to have a few friends take lots of pics at the reception...our photographer sucked so we hardly have any:(
Marley..I think the state fair thing sounds fun:)
It's been nice reading through and seeing the games and recipes. I hope everyone has a great evening. I think Rose may come back to over 3000 comments! Yikes!
@HOLY -- Yes, I'm 60 YRS YOUNG!!! Twilight has made me young. Some days I feel it, other days I feel like a teenager!!!
Who wants to go on a diet with me right after Labor Day? We can keep each other in line, maybe?
Em -- congratulations on your engagement. You sound young, don't rush into anything, just be happy!!
@Perdido
Don't know for fact that Rose will be back today!
@Em
Hello, bebe.
EM and Marley congrats :)
@Holy yeah I saw you and True Blood is finally over - one more episode to go and I had to yell at my 19yr old cause she was charging the TV - like that was going to do something lol
@Perdido - do you want one of us to see if we can get Tempest to pop on?
@Marley
So happy for you. Love your ideas.
Ginger--no its okay. I don't want to bug her more than I have.
I just thought in my head Rose might be around. I'm good--she has to show up eventually right?
Perdido, hun you still up?
I swear...she took one look at the number of comments and ran!
Or ... she's being sensible and waiting for Monday.
Perdido - it may be that Rose is catching up with her boys.
melinda my favorite guilty pleasure from state fair food is fried peanut butter cups and cheese curds. MN state fair starts on thursday so I better not my mouth watering now.
@Perdido - Hopefully soon or you might get lucky with Tempest doing a drive by since it is Monday morning for her.
LIZ...I am game....I have about 50 lbs to lose...daunting task.
Maria-Freddie-you guys are probably right. I know she will be tired bc the flight is so long.
Love the state fair idea. You could do so many cool things.
thanks Ginger and DK!!
Perdido yes rose will be back she has to be!!! say do you know where you saw that idea with the photos on glass on pintrest. do you just search for things on there or what.
Oooh state fairs ... caramel apples come to mind... yummy.
Marley- You should do fair food. It's nostalgic. And receptions should be fun, imo.
or apple dumplings.....like heaven!!!
Marley-this might be too weird but you know those little carnivals that set up in like mall parking lots. How cool wd it be to get one or two of their rides? I have no clue what it would cost but can you imagine a ferris wheel at your wedding.
Marley-

Only 60 some odd comments until
3K...I had to come back to get us one closer!
yes i totally will if one of the 3 vendors can make them.
IB...50 more...Rose is so going to blast us! Or at least a subtle dig....
Perdido omg I would make the minnesota bride mag with those. that would be sweet. I will check the site and with our location.
I want homemade peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream or maybe blackberry - crap I just want to eat solid foods now
Getting closer.......
IB...how silly is it that I can't tear myself away until it gets to 3000?...lol
sorry Ginger!!
@I Believe - ok I am going to help with my wish list of what I want to eat instead of the apple sauce I had
Smothered Pork chops
Scallop Potatoes with Bacon
Green Beans
Peach Cobbler with ice cream
cotton candy would be cool too
Ginger...your making me hungry...too late for a bedtime snack.
Marley...ferris wheel sounds fun...and It won't make the guestz hurl their meal.
You guys and the 3k are funny...Rose is going to kill everyone.
A friend of mine is making canning jar chandeliers with candles inside of them for her son's wedding. It is a country theme wedding.
Ginger...how much longer until you can eat solid food?
@Marley - you are good - I have been drooling over all the stuff for 2 days - the damn was bound to break and how sweet is it - I bet your wedding cake will be tasty too - yum
Hey Jentoo - how are you?
IB - I'm doing my part for the cause.....
Cotton candy in the bride's choice of colors? That would be different...though I've only seen pink and blue cc...is it even possible?
@ jentoo - a week :( - my kid offered to get me baby food , if I hadn't laughed at her I would have killed her
Marley-
If you are thinking "fair" for a theme, you could do some of the games like ring toss and such. Get cheap funny things as prizes...
I know Jentoo! Too much excitement in Roseland!
Who do we think will be lucky number 3000 poster? Any guesses. I bet it will be DK. BTW, where is she???? She's gonna miss the big event!
@Marley - I have 2 words for you
FUNNEL CAKES
Marley--
Check this out. Its in your state and you can rent the machines and they aren't that expensive at all...

Hi Freddie! Since DK is not around, I'll change my guess to you as poster #3000.
Hey Freddie...I'm good, thanks:)
Ginger..that sucks! I like your name..I too am a ginger, and everyone besides my 15 yr old son would probably agree that I have a soul. Actually my whole family of 5 are gingers.
Perdido~You are very industrious tonight!
Wow IB - I'm honoured, but I think it will be quite random...
@*IB*
I'm around! Count me.
@Jentoo - I have 2 younger sisters that are redheads too - and we are of the pleasantly pumpkin variety - so it is very orange.
You're probably right but a little gambling with a pool would make Roseland VERY interesting!
I remember banana baby food being yummy...from my kids days not mine.
went to a wedding about 8 yrs ago where they had homemade soap as wedding favors with the names of the bride and groom embossed in it. So if you're crafty and you don't think your overloaded yet...
ib --too much energy i guess.
WOW -- Love the idea of a ferris wheel at the wedding, a carnival atmosphere.
As much as I'd love to stay here and help make it to 3k, I can't, gotta sign out and go to bed.
Love to all ...
LIZ IN LALA LAND!!!
I don't know where DK disappeared to. I only hope she's not dancing on a table somewhere...if I recall from back in the day, that didn't work out too well for her last time!;)
@DK~LOL...our FGM with ESP!
Night Liz !! I like LaLa land
MARIA -- We'll definitely talk about the diet as we get closer to Labor Day. I'm not ready to start and get serious until then.
PERDIDO -- I think someone said Tempest was over on Twitter, want me to check?
Ginger...I'm brownish/reddish and the hubby is blondish/reddish, so the offspring didn't ever have a chance of being anything other than something/reddish!
Perdido~As long as you have the extra energy and not my new incoming first graders, I'm fine...lol
Goodnight Liz. Pleasant dreams.
Good night LIZ.
DK dancing on a table. Now I want pictures of that.
Perdido i checked that first site and loved the ideas i saw on there. and AGAIN THANK YOU for the second one.
@ jentoo - 2 of my kids have the red/ brown and the other 3 have jet black hair . My brother had black hair too - it is weird how it skips around
DK...you know I'm teasing:) I'll forever remember that about you...I was always so impressed with your joie de vivre!
Eleven to go!!!!!!
@jentoo
See me. Feel me. Touch me. Heal me. (Yeah, the broken foot thingy 2 years ago from dancing.)
IB-I didn't know you taught first grade. That's such a big important year for kids right? How many kids do you have in your class? Do you start soon?
Now only 8! Who's it gonna be????
Perdido-
I think I need to either get my eyes checked or get some sleep. Thought that website was for funerals...
Ginger- Sorry you are still having mouth issues. :( BTW, who's the guy on your twitter background?
IB - my mom taught as well and she loved teaching the little ones most. They can be so cute.
Geez...this is almost like new yrs eve countdown...
@Melinda - LOL that is Brandon Boyd of Incubus - he is my crush - I get to see them and Linkin Park here in a week and a half. He is hot stuff
Damn..two away
Perdido~We go back after Labor Day. I just received my class list and I'm up to 18 kids. It is a VERY important year bc most of the kids come to me as non-readers and writers. When they leave me, they ARE readers and writers!!! It is quite an accomplishment, me thinks :)
