@Kami - People can look if they want or not want to - it is up for each person to choice and not be told. I am not picking any side sense I know I look at both the good and bad.
I have such a deep sadness for the intrusion into their home. I know how uncomfortable i feel, sitting out in a bathing suit by my pool, knowing I could possibly be seen by one if my neighbors. Imagine for just a moment how completely violated you all would feel if the privacy of YOUR OWN HOME, where you should feel the safest, was no longer something you could depend on. That pics of you enjoying your backyard, were displayed to the WORLD... A place that should, by all rights, be a haven in their crazy world, no longer meets the needs of basic privacy, security, and freedom to simply relax and unwind.
Truly, I'd feel like a caged animal in the zoo... What a rotten shame to make their new beautiful home feel like a fishbowl.
@Annie - see we were talking about that last night - I though CA had passed a law saying they couldn't take pictures into the windows but I think like Wig said it was outside so they maybe able to get away with it like if they were on a drive way

@Kanzz - I think it was because there was such a high bounty - someone one on twitter said that 2 paps were placed on both to get the PDA shot prior to promo - that was said maybe 2 days ago so before these came out.
GINGER - I feel as you do, good and bad. It's always a double-edged sword with these two and the paps. I wouldn't hate it as bad if it wasn't their new home. They must be sick about this.

Ginger: They're in a gated, supposedly private community.. Those pics were not taken from a sidewalk.
Annie - The worst part was yesterday there were aerial photo's published and I thought they were the satellite photo's that you can look up on any property - There is no house directly behind theirs but a hill so it was most likely taken from the grassy knoll from a far (kidding on the pun). I cannot read the privacy laws cause it is info overload and talks a lot about physically entering on the property and implied privacy expectations but this goes back to what we were talking about - neither has sued before and god knows both could have several times over - it will depend if this is finally the line they cannot turn from or if they will ignore it like they have in the past.
Looks like Bear has a buddy that looks a lot like my dog...they're so cute wrestling around. Do you think K knows her jeans are split...LOL
I think we will see the tallest fucking trees on that property ASAP.
@Pam - the dogs - OMG is all I have to say - my silly little chihuahua is like that - should have called him sir humps a lot - my poor mother gets the brunt of his eagerness

oh dear, i have mixed feelings about this. i feel a bit let down – not anybody’s fault here. but for all the protestations about paps’ vicious invasion of privacy (& this is clearly one of those since as Ginger said, these seems to be long-range pictures taken from a private residence probably similar to kate’s photos, not ones taken outside a bar or public area), it still boils down to “do we have the wherewithal to walk the talk, not just talk the talk” – i understand that this is something that’s easier said than done (it’s a losing battle) and i’m glad for the fans who are getting even more solid proof. but it’s just so wrong & too far, that i just can’t help but be disgusted. like i said, it’s me – i have to deal with my feelings about this.
and just to answer the general question of “have i seen the pictures from july” – people probably won’t believe me but as i have stated in the blog several posts ago, NO, i have not seen it and i have no intention of seeking for it. i took a break for 6 weeks as soon as it happened and willed myself not to click on any site or look at any mag. it was hard but it can be done. out of respect for rob & kristen.
Ginger: I remember the paps taking pics of the Cruise's backyard.......I believe it was for a family gathering (not sure)
I don't know what Cruise did but pictures were never posted again of their backyard/ frontyard after that one time.......So, the paps can be stopped because it is my belief that those kind of pics are a clear invasion of privacy.

I agree I'm sure they know by now they were photographed and are trying to figure out what to do. I bet they are wondering if the move was worth it now, at least the paps were never successful with catching them like this at Rob's place. They probably thought the gated community was the way to go.

@Annie - I don't know for certain about helicopters and planes, I'll do some research to see what I can find out. I agree with RC, I'd build fences and plant trees! I do think its fair game though, think of the celeb weddings where they have tarps and tent to prevent helicopters from photographing. Its also how Google maps exists!
@Ginger - I've been involved with ordering surveillance, if someone's curtains are open and you can observe them doing what they're doing, fair game. If the surveillance van is in a public location and can observe what's going on the backyard, front yard, etc, fair game. Even though this is a gated community, if paps were, say, on a public hiking trail on the next hill with a telephoto lens, money shot. It sucks. And, you see why the whole "privacy" argument is so complex!

Just one thought, there are lots of places to live in Southern Cal where they wouldn't have this kind of scrutiny. They've chosen to live somewhere that makes them more accessible.

@Annie/Pam - I was pretty sure the law was passed a couple years ago. It was so celebrities had a right to some semblance of a normal life - if they sue good for them on the same side hopefully now the shot it done they will back off.
@Wig - see that is were I am so iffy on I built security systems for a telecom company for 10 years and CA was one of the only places that is we placed cameras internally in office space we had to place a sign saying it was there - people didn't have the right to assume privacy they just had the right to know they were being recoded, I unfortunately only know the commercial side of it but I am aware how far a picture can be taken with clarity based on the camera itself - we had some mounted on roofs that could zoom on a license plate a mile away and read it as if we were standing in front of it.
@wig4usc: Thank you for responding and making clear the CA privacy laws when it comes to this. :)

Several years ago my Grandmother's apartment burned down, and as she was sitting outside her apartment crying because she had lost 80 years of her life, a cat, a bird and a fish, the local reputable media sent their camera crews out to film this fire. One of the stations had a reporter and a crew that was unbelievably over the top in their zeal to get a good sound bite for the lead off on the news.
The stuck their camera in my grandmother's face and began bombarding her with questions and when they didn't get a response they began to say things like "So what were you doing to start this fire?" and making comments like "Elderly woman apparently in the grasp of dementia causes house fire" NONE of that was true not ONE word my grandmother was not senile, she didn't start the fire and yet these assholes could care less they wanted their story. I decided to get her out of there and had a policeman escort me to my car, the ENTIRE time this camera was in her face with this reporter screaming questions at her and I finally snapped and turned around and told the reporter if he didn't get his camera out of her fucking face I'd shove it up his fucking ass. The reporter asked the policeman if he was going to allow me to threaten him like that. The policeman said that he didn't hear me threaten but had I threatened him of anything the police officer would be more than happy to hold the reporter still while I shoved that camera where the sun didn't shine.
I told that story because of this point. That was ONE moment in my life, one 40 minute time period and it will forever be a moment that enrages me. I cannot imagine having to deal with that kind of invasion and intrusion of my personal space, of having people make up stuff to say about me, for years, and when I see it happening to someone like Kristen, Suri Cruise, Katie Holmes or any other celebrity I become furious at the cruelty of it.
I do not expect anyone to share my point of view, like everyone else here I am a visitor to Rose's 'home' and it's simply my opinion. I apologize if I offended you Ginger. Do not get me wrong I stand behind my comments, but my personal experience makes me more adamant in my responses. Maybe too blunt.
My niece just told me that yesterday she seen photos on a website that had an aerial view of Brad and Angies whole property, no shots of them, but still their home none the less.

I found a couple of Anniston suits related to photos taken. First one involved a photog she alleged climbing a neighbor's 8-foot fence and taking pictures of her sunning topless. The case settled and the terms were confidential. There was another suit where she alleged a photog took a photo "a mile away". That was also settled, the terms confidential. He claimed he was on a public street 300 yards from the residence, she argued invasion of privacy, intrusive, presumption of privacy, etc.
Anyone can sue anyone for just about anything, just depends if you want to take it on and make a case!

@Ginger - in CA, you can't record someone without their permission, wire tapping is illegal. I know other states are different. An office is usually private property, same issue, if you record/tape people, they need to know. Its a complex issue, presumptions, what's private, what's public. ugh.

I share everyone’s sadness as to how these pictures were taken. I’m incredibly sorry for both Rob and Kristen that their privacy, or what they believed was their privacy, has been invaded. The fact that information about Kristen’s new house was published so broadly on the internet over the past two days probably did not help their cause.
I don’t know why we need to publish the names of the sites where these pictures originated here on this blog. I’m not telling people what they can or can not do, only expressing a personal opinion. There are a number of safe Rob and Kristen sites out there that people can look at if they want to keep up on news. You don’t have to have Twitter to keep up. I don’t and I manage without having to come here for my news updates.
I agree with Kami and PL, but I’m not trying to attack anyone with my words. I question though, if we really consider the role that fans play in feeding the beast. There is a lot of discussion these days about how players on both sides of the fence (PR staff on the one side and the media/tabloids on the other) use social media to find out information. Through our actions we continue to signal to the media that there is a voracious appetite for all things Rob and Kristen which only serves to encourage them to pursue the money shot? And god knows there was a flurry of discussion from happy folks here and elsewhere after Monday’s bar pictures came out. I’m sure the tabs took note of our collective interest. They’ve all been tripping over each other to get that “Exclusive”.
And the issue is not just about skipping posts that you don’t want to read here. It’s not “us” that is the issue – it’s prying eyes from outside that we should be mindful of as well.
Again, at the risk of being unpopular, this is just my opinion.

@Wig - It was really bad - to get the CO on an office vs the switches were night and day - because COSTAR we could do anything in a switch because if they had an active wire tap going personal had to be cleared and monitored but the offices were a whole other ball of wax. We had coverts in the form of smoke detectors and found that a generic sign for the visible cameras covered it all - basically people only had the right to assume privacy in restrooms. I think people would be more shocked how many times they are really recorded and where - face recognition software is in use many many places. The bio metrics software they would show us excited me from a system admin point of view but horrified me from a personal side point.

@ Freddie, i agree – no supply if there is no demand. it’s not the photos per se but the reactions that are polled that reinforces what the paps claim all along & use to justify their disgusting methods: that there is a big & hungry market out there, and regardless of the means employed, whether they supply the ugly or the pretty, they will come.
i really do hope that at some point the fans’ hunger will start to wane – that the twitterpating will plateau and demand will finally drop and so will the supply. for rob’s & kristen’s sake.

Annie - it's been a bit cool here, but during the days it's been wonderful fall weather. Aside from today when it rained, we've had some really nice sunny fall days. And while many of the leaves have fallen, we still have some of the most beautiful fall colours at the moment. In terms of vacation, I decided to spend some time with my parents. They are getting on in years and I know that I'm lucky to still have them, so I'm trying to take advantage of the chances I still have with them. I'm back home now, with a list longer than my arm of things I want to do at the house. I'll probably get a fraction of it done. Nice touching base with you, Annie. Stay well.

@Freddie - hola - I get what you are saying and I know a lot of people come hear to read Rose's word of wisdom - they are amazing but in my opinion only - no one here is extreme enough to evoke any eyebrow raising worth story telling - this place is like swimming in the kiddie pool which makes it so nice to come here instead of the deep end of the ocean where you have no hope of touching the bottom.
@Wig - the word is their lawyers aren't happy but same people are saying what you did - if they took the pictures on public property nothing can be done.
@Parker - this was the shot they sought for a very long time - I think it will die down after Twilight is over - Twilight is what it is - neither was hounded before and once they are not in the flame of it anymore it will die down and people will move on. The torch will probably be passed to the Hunger Games cast since they will be the it franchise once Twilight is gone.

When my husband and I went to Vegas a long time ago we did the morph picture to see what any future children we might have would look like...the little boy that popped up in the picture had a face that a mother couldn't even love. He looked similar to a coyote and we laughed because NO one could possibly be that ugly..and while I'm not vain I will say neither my husband and I are homely..so we went and had lunch at a restaurant in the casino and the guy who waited on us was a dead rinnger for that picture. We had to leave we were laughing to hard.

@Annie - mostly happy with a side of comical in it. I told Tempest I was tempted to get cracker jacks and a cold drink to watch a really bad comedy tonight and I am not disappointed. I still have no idea if they told people who gets to camp for the promo's - last I heard was they were still weeding out haters to ensure they could not get close at all.
@Kami - is so odd how kids come out - My oldest 2 have red/brown hair one with blue eyes the other green. My 3 youngest - dark brown/black hair - dark skin and all look full blood Native American. I had someone ask if I was babysitting at the grocery store - I couldn't help the are you dumb or crazy look I gave to think I would bring 3 kids that are not mine to the store like it was a filed trip.

I should be finishing my submission today for my nextweek's case. Instead, I am here writing my opinion, pledge, pleading, or call it whatever that you want. I know that I can't wait anymore. I might forget, I might feel tired or I might just being lazy later. I am writing this for the sake of our beloved Robert & Kristen.
I am so furious with all the pictures of R&K in their home.
This shows that paparazzis can do anything, even beyond the line of privacy, in order to get their stories and 1 million dollars shots. I also noticed, most of our fansites had taken down those pictures immediately this morning. Again, this shows respect. This shows that we are R&K true fans, who would never cross that 'privacy line' just to satisfy ourselves.
In a way, the pictures confirmed all that we believe for so long. But seriously, please stop.
Please stop asking for more intimate pictures.
Please stop asking for their every move.
Please just be content with what we believe and keep on supporting both of them without always asking for proof.
This is so not fair for R&K.
Remember, we as their fans, always hoping that we managed to catch a glimpse of R&K with Bear one day.
We hope that we can see the true happiness in their eyes with each other.
We hope that we can see how they interact with each other behind the scenes.
We always hope for one final confirmation that they are so in love with each other, because we said, it is to trash all the speculations and crazy predictions made by the haters.

Medias were so crazy on their relationship, even when they got engaged, fans were so nasty. While 'good fans' always demanding pictures by pictures of both of them; just to ensure themselves that they were so in love. In the end, they both went their separate ways. A sad thing to happened. WHY? They can't stand the pressure that medias and perhaps fans put on them and their relationship. I don't want that to ever happen again to any good celebrities, especially not to Rob & Kristen.
This is one of the blog that could tell the mere similarities between these 2 couples. It was cruel in the past, and as for now and the future, I believe, we can change it. Because we are the fans, we have the power and we love them so much.

Apart from that, NEVER FORGET that paparazzis had claimed the life of one beautiful person in our history, Lady Di. Someone on Twitter today posted a picture of Rob I've seen before, he's walking somewhere and having to approach and walk through a mob of paps. I have to say, I find that way, way more disturbing than the recent pics. While equally intrusive, I could just imagine having a claustrophobic attack in the middle of the mob. And I can't imagine what insults were being flung at them.

We had Fajitas for our dinner last night and I always find it a very tough smell to get rid of, So I've cleaned all down stairs and it's still lingering. I think the only answer is to make a batch of banana date and fudge muffins lol to cancel out the smell of course, no other reason :)

I enjoyed getting caught up on the posts this morning. Well, I will just go ahead and confess right now that I looked at the pictures. I go to RP Life everyday and have for YEARS and I'm not going to stop. Do I agree that the means the paps go by are disgusting...absolutely...There is intense interest in them now It will not always be the case. Unfortunately that is the price is fame sometime. One day they will look back on this time in their lives and despite everything, there will be many parts of it they will miss...but of course not paps...

I, too, decided I would quit drinking so much coffee so I have been brewing 3 cups of green tea and taking it with me in this neat glass bottle I bought at Earth Fare. By Wednesday, I was so tired I took a nap on the couch for two hours..I never do that...lol... I usually drink 4-5 cups of coffee a day...no headaches though so I'm glad for that

My mother drank Tasters Choice Instant coffee with milk when I was growing up. It tasted horrible and I only drink my coffee black as an adult...can't stand even cream in it...I'm psychologically scarred for life....lol

I am happy/sad at the same time. I know most everyone here feels the same way about the invasion of R&K's privacy ... BUT, it could have been SO MUCH WORSE. Like, if there were only the two of them, who knows?
I can't help but remember what Kristen said a couple of years ago that no matter how much the public sees that it will never be enough. I certainly hope there will be a silver lining to this. Perhaps a lesson learned? Just like Kate & William? Same with those two, it could have been so much worse since they were alone and have a vacation. I was happy when Kristen flew to TO in Rob's shirt wearing her ring and necklace ... that should have been ENOUGH !!!
Another thing I'm sad about is the timing for R & K as he's going to have to leave probably tomorrow to get to Australia and they're going to have to be apart off and on for a few weeks. I hope they can find some peace and keep each other's spirits up with texting and Skype, etc.

Man those paps would have to be really brave or really stupid to be in a tree on their property. If that is the case I hope they do seek punishment against them.
I showed my hubby the pics last night and he said "wouldn't it be terrible if it was from a neighbor who let paps spy and take photos of them" I would never have that thought cross my mind. I like to think the people around them would lead similar lives and wouldn't do that to someone else. They'll probably invest in some more privacy fence, a high wall or more trees.
I assume by this being for Summit they will fly privately .
I would love to see K in a green or a color she's never
worn before. Rob tends to pull of any color and look good as long as the suit is tailored well. I hope for LA premier they coordinate their outfits.
@Pam - a better shot of the backyard came out - the pictures give the illusion of being on a hill but it is a slope - the yard backs to a garage and a street all in the gated community so I am not sure how they could not have been on private property.
I hope they fly private - the airport walk of hell is bad enough but when they fly private they seem to be able to slip in and out easier

I just came back from our 5 day autumn mini break (no internet in the forest).

@Ginger, yes it was relaxing and a change of scenery is always good for the mind. It was nice to have my 17 old yr son around, here at home he's mostly MIA. It felt like the good old times, watching movies, hanging out together, messin about. They grow up so fast, I miss the little kid stuff sometimes.

I know what you mean about your son, mine is 17 also and doesn't hang out at home much anymore since he started driving, between his friends and playing music he's home very little on weekends.
I bet you never dreamed that would be what you'd see about R&K when you checked in. We all wish their privacy hadn't been invaded but it was nice seeing them together and happy.
