Rob and Kristen- Really Reality

I've been reading a lot of
SHOUTY CAPS emails
and it's been fascinating...
and also scary creepy.

All the shouts about Lainey's post
saying that Rob and Kristen
maybe
possibly
staged the pictures at their house.
Kinda.
Sorta.
(and how cool that now you WANT to believe her!)

Thing is?
Although Lainey does have a source or two...
(She was right about them being together)
Her opinion on whether those pictures were 'staged'
is just that.
Her opinion.
What is gossip without controversy?
Pretty boring, huh?
Here's the deal...

1. Rob and Kristen would never pay paparazzi
to take staged pictures.
No way.
No how.
They have shown nothing but disdain
and disgust
at the way those vultures do their job.
The paps shout obscene things at Kristen
they start fights and are rude
to the people around her
They harass and stalk
and scare the shit out of her.
Rob stood around for hours
pleading with them to just leave him alone...

You REALLY think they stage pics with these assholes?
REALLY?

Besides common sense
(It's too bad its not really common)
tells you that Rob and Kristen
don't have to stage pics
when they are hounded 24/7 by these scavengers.
Now they are going to cut them a deal?
And from their HOME??
Really?
Their home.
Their sanctuary.
Their safe place.

Give me a fucking break.

IF Rob and Kristen wanted to show the world
they are together
They could have easily been all kissy and huggy
when they were standing outside the restaurant
in the bright shiny light of day.
Nice clear pictures.
Not some grainy shit that was taken
who knows how far away with a powerful lens.
If you are going to 'stage' pics...
Surely they could have gotten better access?
Better quality?
Surely Kristen wouldn't have been in camera range
wearing ripped up pants
and swimming in her underwear?

They could 'stage' pictures anywhere
But invading the privacy of their own home?
Yeah. Sure.
If you need to believe that...
Well.
I feel sorry for you.
I truly do.
I bet even you feel sorry for you.

Those pictures really were the proverbial straw
that broke the hater's back.
You could just call that straw...
REALITY.

Here's another thing...

2. For four years...
The Ninnies have been screaming PR.
Right?
Oh yes.... Poor Rob
being forced to pretend to be in a relationship
with that evil Kristen.
Poor poor Rob.
Summit really roped him in with their binding contract.
4 years of Ninnies screeching PR
every time there was a picture
showing Rob and Kristen
hugging
kissing
smiling
loving
going on vacation together
visiting each others movie sets
spending holidays together
concerts
dinners
etc
etc
etc.
4 years of excuses
rationalizations
denials.

So why are these pictures any different?
NOW people are whining about what a sell out Rob is...
NOW people are complaining about how this isn't the
"Rob" they thought they knew.
NOW they are SO disappointed in Rob.
NOW.

But wait a minute...
Hasn't Rob been doing this since day one?
Hasn't he been selling himself and his personal life
because he's obligated to?
Why have these pictures...
Showing a happy Rob and Kristen
hugging
kissing
smiling
loving
Caused such an uproar this time?
Isn't it the same deal as always?
No?

Remember that Reality straw?

The reason so many Ninnies
are so distraught and angry
is because they actually see that
Rob is in fact...
In love with Kristen.
hugging
kissing
smiling
loving.
There's Rob bringing a towel
and a nice cup of warm tea
(Yeah, I see Rob making Kristen tea...)
With a big ol' smile on his face...

Rob has forgiven Kristen.
Rob loves Kristen.
Kristen loves Rob.
They are together.
Really.

If you want to believe its for the sake of movie box office...
Well..
See you in December

If you don't approve.
Too bad. So sad.

It's always been pretty obvious to me
that neither Rob or Kristen
will let 'fans' dictate their personal life.
They don't care what we think.
Why should they?

Say you had a neighbor...
A stalky neighbor
who watched every move you and your partner made.
He sat in his house staring out the window at you
with his binoculars and telephoto lens.
For  years.
He never talked to you.
He never got to know you.
And then one day the neighbor comes across the street
and knocks on your door...
and proceeds to tell you how you should live your life.
He thinks you should break up with your partner...
He doesn't approve of your partner.
He has watched from afar and thinks he knows
what is best for you.
You should listen to him!
He has watched you everyday!
He has every right to tell you what to do
with your personal
private life.
Right?

Well.
I'm guessing you would think the fucker is crazy
and slam the door in his face.

And that's what Rob and Kristen are doing.
They aren't listening to the lunatic fringe.
They don't fucking care about the crazy neighbors out there
that think they have a right to tell them how to live their lives.

They are following their hearts.

And that has led them to each other.

Truth
Is
Fucking
Truth.

The BEST picture of Rob from Australia.
Walking.
Sunglasses.
Scruff.
That 2009 mop of hair.
Buttons... Unbuttoned.
(Why is that so endearing?)

And Kristen.
All smiles and cuteness.
Looking lovely as always
after a long flight to Japan.

And Tom
Because I adore Tom.
And I like posting pics of Tom.

This post is brought to you by the letter D

D for

The orange Oompa Loompa guy
with the weird hair
who name-dropped Rob and Kristen
to try and be relevant on Twitter.
The only people who listen to this
Misogynistic blowhard
are those who realize that
THIS is the best they can do.

Scary.

Until next time.

Bye for now

OMG that's so funny
I bet those girls are going to be disappointed when the Saga is over next month and he will go Missing again.

SUPER -- Cinnabons sounds good for dinner!!!

PAMH & GINGER -- Just checking in, RL is really a drag for me right now, it's interfering with my "fun" time. So, anything new happening? Twitter is fairly quiet. Wonder with the "ninnies" are plotting ...

tufenuf55 said...

I haven't bought a rag mag for about 3 yrs. now. I know I'm not alone in this type of boycott. Unfortunately, I don't think it has much of a dent in the paps hungry appetite. I think when Twilight has been over for a few months, there will be loyal fans who follow the careers of Rob and Kristen, but a lot of the haters will turn their attention to newcomers. Although I feel sorry for the newcomers, I will be very happy for Rob and Kristen if and when that happens.

I just watched the video interview with the director of Mission: Blacklist and he talks about Rob with respect and admiration. Says Rob was terrific in Cosmopolis, etc. Here is the link and he starts talking about Rob at 18:36

Hi, Roseland!

Bummer, my football team lost, nailbiter down to the end. :( I don't take losing well.

So, I'm on Twitter, and I see this whole theme of people hoping they'll see R&K pregnant soon. Huh? Being a working parent, its one of the hardest things to do, under the best of circumstances. With how the paps follow them and hound them, how could anyone who cares about those two wish for it? Must be young things who don't know the reality of parenthood. Think its like playing with dolls. I'm flabbergasted right now, wth?

Good luck to our East coast Roselanders, hang in there, hope it all blows over soon!

tufenuf55 said...

Well, to be honest, some of their mature fans are hoping they will marry and have a baby eventually. Kristen has put her career on hold to focus on her relationship with Rob. He is going to be very busy next year with The Rover and Mission: Blacklist. Whatever they decide will be what is best for them.

PamH said...

@Liz
Hello
I hope things get better for you soon :-)
It's hard to tell what the ninnies will be coming up with next. At this point I think IF Rob and Kristen announced on live tv they love each other and are totally committed to each other the ninnies/haters would still never believe it.

wig4usc said...

@tuff - don't get me wrong, I think it would be really awesome to see that happen ONE DAY, for THEM to decide! :) No one needs pressure, from family, friends or fans, to procreate! There are live long consequences to that.

Its funny, the extremes in our fandom!

LizzieD said...

PamH -- No doubt, what you say is true. If they announced TOGETHER to the world that they loved each other, were planning a wedding, having a child, etc., some would say it's for PR PR PR PR PR...

Yea, that broken record.

Hi ALL

We are back at the hotel room watching a Halloween episode of the original Star Trek series.

LIZ

On the recommendation of an employee in the tool department at Sears, we ate at a local Italian restaurant called Vinnies Neigborhood Italian...It was very enjoyable. The place was packed. I had a gin and tonic at the bar then we were seated about 30 minutes later...not too long of a wait for such a busy place. They sat us at one table and then decided to move us and gave us each a glass of wine complimentary for our troubles, which were minimal as we only moved down 1 table...lol. I had chicken Parmesan and a salad..we also had an assortment of very nice bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the side. It was memorable.

Hi WIG, PAM, TUF, and everyone else

Tomorrow morning we will ride down the Blue Ridge Parkway on the way home and check out the leaves but it is very windy...I am assuming from the outer bands of the hurricane ... so I hope there will still be some on the tress in the morning.

Good Night All

Super RN Gas Passer said...

Oh, and by the way, I went into five different stores hoping beyond hope that I could find the Florabotanica perfume...no luck:(

I guess I'm going to have to mail order it....

Samantha Nkhata said...

I'm so glad that credible 'sources' via Twitter have confirmed what we all knew about R&K at the Prince concert(especially with all the controversy over that video and those illegally obtained pictures). It should silence some of the doubters. If the 'credible' sources (who are not Summit's payroll, though we know some people will say they a part of a long list of people that Summit has payroll).

LizzieD said...

SUPER -- Thanks for the restaurant recommendation. I'll have to check it out next time in that area.

I believe the wind we're getting is the cold front headed our way. We're supposed to have snow for 3 days on and off, starting Monday. All our leaves are gone already.

FLORABOTANICA -- OMG, it's the best smelling fragrance I've ever had. I ordered a "really small" bottle from eBay and opened it just to make sure it wasn't damaged, right? Had to smell it, then gave to Mom to wrap for Christmas. So far, am holding out but I might cave. I think Neimans and Nordstroms are the only stores that have it. Amazon has it online and also check eBay like I did. Have fun tomorrow and be safe...

Ginger with a Soul said...

@NjCullen - the people that think the pictures were staged are the same people who haven't believed for 4 yrs in any of it - some have left the fandom all together turning on Rob and the rest wouldn't believe it if you handed them a marriage certificate. They will find anything and everything PR and everyone is on Summits payroll

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Pam - I don't know what they are going to do after promo's with HBG - put up wanted posters probably - so funny. He has a a tattoo on his arm they were all trying to figure out what it said - cracked me up

LizzieD said...

Ginger - Hi, why don't you think that HBG will still be around after promo? He's been working with Kristen for years.

Are you all ready for Halloween with the kids?

tufenuf55 said...

wig4usc

I agree with you totally, that's why I said it is up to them.

Confession: If anyone had told me that Kristen was involved with someone else I would have thought it was HBG (not disgusting Rupig)the way he is super protective of her.

tufenuf55 said...

That just goes to show you, that he is also an upstanding man who would never do that to another man, let alone Rob!

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Liz - Hi Sweetie! Well she seems to have others as well - he didn't do TIFF which is why the did the milk cartons for him. It would all depend on when she picks her next project she is going to do.

Yeah the kids are ready for it - I am not looking forward to trekking in the cold and probably snow since we always get it

PamH said...

LIZ
HBG and Dean both work for Summit so until R or K would ever do another movie by them they wouldn't be working with them.

PamH said...

Maybe I'm wrong about them working for Summit because he was with K when she did WTTR wasn't he ? Can't remember.
To bad R&K couldn't hire them personally full time.

@ NjCullen - I think overall most of just want them to do what makes them happy - yeah most of root them as a couple but whatever the choose they have to live with it. I know they hear things but from appearances they do what they want so if she didn't want to wear something she wouldn't - she does it for her. How bad would your life be if you allowed the masses to dictate your every move. They know their truths so they know what is rubbish and what is not

@Liz - and they just issued a state of emergency for Massachusetts - looks like mother nature is not playing nice right now

LizzieD said...

Ginger -- I heard speculation about major extended power outages and what would happen if no power by election day ??? What would they do? Especially if it affects millions...

I voted early... but not every state has that option. NC one of the earlier ones, I think.

They're still talking about the earthquake and tsunami warning

Hi everyone just stopping by to say Hi and to let those who are in the path of the Frankenstorm know that I'm praying for you. We are suspose to get some wind and rain and maybe some light snow. I could tell the wind has picked up tonight and the clouds were coming in, but not sure if that is from Frankenstorm or the front moving in from the north.

I did something naughty at Wal-mart today..LOL I tore the article out about Kristen and Rob that they had in there this week. We know they are lies but some who buy it may not. So i sneakingly tore the articles out of five magazines, and out of our two office magazines yesterday, and you can't even tell they are missing. If I get the chance and don't get caught I will get rid of some more. LMAO

I can see it now..someone will be talking about the article and the person who got the ones I got hold of will think she's making that up, it wasn't in People. ROFLMAO

Got to go have a good night and sweet dreams.

That is absolutely hilarious. I saw a cover on US mag at the grocery store yesterday morning and I felt the same urge but didn't since I was in line....omg...

GINGER, KAMI, HOLY, TUF and PAM

I know we all wish for happily ever afters...that's why we are here...incurable romantics....and as many of us know, relationships are hard even under the best of circumstances....R and K's circumstances are a extremely favorable because they are deeply in love with each other and extremely dire because of the whole world weighing in on it and ...I still contend that IT was a PR stunt....I want them to prevail for 2 reasons...It would be a tragedy if they didn't and I want the haters and all those setting boobie traps all around them...I want them to eat sawdust....Big Time because people like that don't need to win ..

As far as a baby is concerned, everyone wishes for that because it's part of our mindset in happy ever after. But I think we forget how young they are...A baby needs to be planned and nurtured and the parents don't need to be fighting with the world, the mother to be needs to have a clean organic highly nutritious diet at least a year before conception ...that does not include cigarettes or second hand smoke. Here I go on my bandwagon again but everyone needs a fucking reality check here. The incidence of Autism is rampant ....RAMPANT....we live in a toxic world...in order to have a healthy baby it has to be planned...to have a healthy baby....

OK, I'm off my soap box, but also kids today are not ready for the responsibility of a baby until they are a little closer to 30 so bottom line to my rant...It is not in anybodys best interest to urge them into having a baby at this time...a baby does not FIX things and make the planets line up ...a baby deserves to be planned and properly prepared for!!!!! Rant over:)

I'm sorry to hear about all this potential devastation via Mother Nature.

Super RN Gas Passer said...

OK. I guess I'm not off my soap box

Do you know what neurotoxins are? They are chemicals that affect the brain...and a baby's brain in or out of the uterus...

The number one cause of brain tumors in this country....ASPARTAME...what is that in? Any Diet Coke or other diet drink you might consume....The next biggest neurotoxin....ALUMINUM.....A canned diet coke, anyone??? The food manufacturers don't want you to know this...and there are many more things in our food that are hurting us bad every day...

OK, I think I'm done now....lol

You will glad to know the other day when you mentioned Aspartame I went and checked the diluting juice that I give my kids and YES it was one of the ingredients!! So I scoured my supermarket shelves until I found one with out it (thank goodness they liked it even more than the one they were used to!) The most annoying thing was I thought I was doing a good thing not giving them fizzy drinks and just very weakly diluted juice. Thanks for the info!!!

Had to "batten down the hatches" this morning as we have a blizzard coming our way. No idea how much snow might fall but winds over 50mph. It was time to prepare for winter anyway but I had to take down my Halloween decorations as I didn't want them to "fly" off anywhere.

As bad as it might get here, will be NOTHING like what they might get with the hurricane.

I'll be working from home today, will check-in periodically. I hope "our kids" are happy today and have a peaceful day. They need to rest up for the next round of promo.

Good Morning, Roseland!
Happy Sunday!

Thinking of any of you EastCoasters who are bracing for the weather. Hold tight.

We tried to vote early yesterday, but the lines were around the building, so guess I will fight the crowds on Election Day. I took a "sick day" because I have a dentist appointment. We've always had the day off for Presidential elections, but this year it's a teacher work day. Lame.

Super - your post about Diet Cokes and the cans reminds me - the little girls ("little girl" - age 28) I teach with consumes NOTHING with aspertame or anything packaged in aluminum. I feel so guilty when I'm drinking a diet drink.

Oneheart, you're killing me - I think you just gave a few folks some ideas...

Liz - I'm twirling with ya, as always... :-)

LizzieD said...

Litmom & Super -- seeing the comments about Aspertame reminds me of during the 70's when I was going to Weight Watchers, the diet sodas were made with Cyclamates (not sure of spelling) and they gave a deadline as to when they were going to stop selling them because of studies, etc. We all (at WW) hoarded all the Shasta drinks we could find. At that time, we had to use them with unflav. gelatin to make jello, was before the Sugar Free stuff was in the stores.

I'm twirling while working ...

good sunday to you all here in roseland!
just doing a quick fly by – RL is keeping me so busy!

gosh am seeing a lot of TV spots now for BD2! and the one that made me squee was the trailer with just E/B. holy kissing-shit! so many good snogging in BD2! but i was upset to see the one which i believe is from the last page of the BD book! why’d they have to put that on the trailer :( i wanted that so much to be a surprise! oh well, it’s still so good – i can’t wait !!!

@Super, thank God i’m not a soda drinker! i just live on water & tea & the only sweetener i use is honey or blue agave.

for all those affected or soon to be affected by the storm, keep safe everyone!

november can’t come soon enough !!! twirling !!!

LizzieD said...

PARKER -- Remind me what's on the last page of the book, please? I'm working and too lazy to get up and go get my book, LOL!!!

The trailers certainly are enticing, I can't wait. I watched a bit of BD1 on the DVD earlier, now have Twilight on in the background while working and then New Moon is on tonight 3 times!!! What's up with that? Guess it's because of Halloween coming? Who knows.

I hope "our kids" get to go out and have some fun on Halloween without being detected. Maybe some good costumes would keep them under the radar...

Hi everyone hope you all are enjoying your Sunday. Super thanks for the info about the Aspartame and the aluminum. I have also heard never to drink water from a plastic bottle that has been left in the car.

Thank goodness I gave up all soft drinks last November. I can't believe I have stayed away from them this long. If I use artificial sweetener I always use Truvina. A nurtitionist told me to use that instead of the other artificial sweetners

Hope everyone stays safe from the storm. I hope the snow passes us by here, nothing I hate worse than driving in snow and ice. May have to be a call in day. LOL

Finally got my tickets to Breaking Dawn...talked my sister into waiting till Saturday, November 17th to go, that way I can go back with her on Saturday. My husband and I aren't going until the 9:50 show on Friday night. We always go back at least a couple more times to see them again and I talk others to go so I can go with them. LOL Funny how trying to get in as many movies as you can before it leaves the cinema is almost like

He can be so funny, he wanted to watch Twilight last night. He said let's watch Twilight, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. I said what about New Moon? He said please don't make me watch that, I can't stand it when he leaves her. Besides, I don't like Jacob's character so please let's skip New Moon..So we did. ROFLMAO

@Oneheart, haha you're hilarious. Nice one.

@Super, you are right about Aspartame. I've read articles and seen documentaries, saying that diet drinks are way worse than the regular ones because of the artificial sweeteners.
There has always cancer but it seems as if there is a staggering increase of new cases, constantly I hear someone died or is diagnosed. Maybe I payed more attention the last 10 yrs as I had cervical cancer myself but I don't think I'm imagining the increase.
I firmly believe it has to do with what's in our food and drink and all the chemicals (cleaning products) we use at home. I don't even have a micro-wave so you all might think I'm slightly paranoid. Still, if you read all the artificial shit they put in our food doesn't it make you wonder what effect it has on our bodies? I certainly do.

Good Evening Everybody

SUE, LITMOM, PARKER, ONEHEART, and anyone I missed.

Yes, cancer is on the upswing. It is caused by many different assaults on the body and if the body is too overwhelmed for too long, that is the result...like a frankenstorm so to speak...Aspartame is just one of many things...I will confess, because I love Coca Cola so much, that I will have a small one in a glass bottle maybe once a week or so...and preferably from Mexico because they use sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup...OK , you don't want to get me started on HFCS...

LIZ

We rode down the parkway this morning and enjoyed it . you were right, most of the leaves were gone but it was still beautiful...lots of clouds rolling down the mountains .it was truly beautiful...

ALI MAC

Things don't look good for the coastline from Delaware on up...and the whole of New England sounds like they are going to have some terrible weather potential up there.

To ALL of our beloved Northeastern Roselanders...we are thinking of each and everyone of you that you weather the storm well and you and your loved ones are safe, warm and secure. God speed.

Kami said...

I hope everyone is safe and secure from the storm.

Oneheart, please don't think me a killjoy but for YOUR sake, I wanted to let you know that they have cameras watching every single register in Walmart, which means that any section around the registers are being video tapped at all times. They do this to make sure that not only will they have video proof of anyone trying to holdup a cashier, but also to keep an eye on their cashiers. So while I applaud your motivations I would like to suggest for your own sake that you avoid doing anything like that again in the future, because if they catch you they will press charges. That's just my advice,....up to you whether you take it or not.

Stay safe everyone!

Rosers,
Just spent a few hours ironing - and watching Twilight. My favorite thing to do when faced with that particular chore :-).

Oneheart, I'm planning to drag Sox with me to see BD2 Friday night (I really would love to go Thursday at midnight, but sure would be worthless at school the next day. Last year I took 2 days off and flew to NOLA to see BD1 with my daughter, but since we just got back last Monday - couldn't really justify doing it again...).
I'm going back Saturday morning to see it with 2 friends from school - and we're planning to sit through it twice. We're dorks.

Super, speaking of cancer - hate to be a downer, but could you all send up some prayers for a guy I teach with? He teaches Health, and is the offensive line coach for our football team. He thought her was having some issues with acid reflux, went to the doctor 2 weeks ago - and they ended up finding stage 4 Adenocarcinoma. Started in his pancreas, and has spread to his liver and lungs. Inoperable.
He is 36 years old, and has a precious wife, a 6 year old daughter, and a 3 from the hospital yesterday, and home hospice is taking over - he just has days (already in liver failure). Please keep him, his wife, and children in your thoughts and prayers. Our school and community are just reeling from this.

Still thinking about you folks in the storm's path...

Something weird happened in my post - should have said at one point that he has a 3 year old son. And that they moved him home from the hospital yesterday.

Computers...yikes!

Hi Kami..LOL I know about the cameras. They also have security people dressed up as customers walking through the store all the time.

I happen to be good friends with the manager, I've known him my whole life, not that it would help me if I got in trouble. I did it so sneaky I couldn't tell I was doing it. LMAO I probably won't do it again. I wouldn't want to put him on the spot like that. It was a spur of the moment thing, the two magazines at work were thought out. LOL

I did do something nice for them though...They forgot to charge me for my husbands soft drinks that I had in the bottom of the buggy so I got in the car with them and happened to think that I didn't see the girl charge me for them. I looked at my receipt and she hadn't. So I went back in to tell her and paid for them. She told me she didn't even see them.

I have lots of Wal-mart stories. You can expect anything inside a Wal-mart..that is where I saw my first Cheetah lady. She had spots tatooed all over her and had whiskers inplanted at her nose. Stangest think I ever saw. Wow she looked mean. Wouldn't want to mess with her.

Not all the things that I've seen happen are funny. I was in a Wal-mart next to an ailse when a man walked in and shot his ex girlfriend who worked there and killed her right in front of us who were waiting to be checked out. He simply turned around and walked out as if it was any ordinary day to him. It was the most horrible thing I have ever witnessed. Luckily the police caught him and he confessed to it.

I have more but I will save them for another time.

Litmom how sad about your fellow teacher/football coach. His life was just beginning. My heart goes out to him and his beloved family. Especially his wife and children. It's all happening so quickly for them and that's why we all need to be reminded that each day is a precious gift and we should cherish our time with those we love because we never know how soon we could be taken or they could be taken from us. Keeping them in my prayers and you too Litmom. Hugs.

Hi NJCullen yes my husband is a huge Twilight fan. Litmom will vouch for that. I'm not lying the man read the books at least 20 plus times. We have them in hardback, paperback, and on both of our Kindles. We've watched the movies over and over so many times till I've lost count. He isn't a closet twiguy..he'll tell you he love them.

He loves Edward and Bella but like I said he can't stand Jacob. He said there is no way in real life that a guy is going to let someone like Jacob always be hanging around his girl. He thinks Edward should have took care of him in the first movie. LMAO

He is also happy that Rob and Kristen are a couple in real life. He is well aware that I come here and other places. He even ask questions.

His favorite character in the book is Alice. I think he has a thing for her flighty carefree ways. LOL

As much as he loves this saga..his favorite books are The Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J. R. Ward. He loves to read so for him to be a fan of Twilight was a given.

Deb I'll say a prayer for your sister. I know how special they are. I wouldn't trade my specail moments with my sister for anything. I know you won't quit worrying till all of this is over. She's lucky to have you and I'm sure she feels you there with her right now.

I'm sorry you had to witness that. yes, I think we all have WM stories. I find myself in there about once a week. I try really hard to go early on Sunday morning.

LITMOM

Words cannot express my heart break for your friend, his family and coworkers. I certainly will keep him in my thoughts and prayers...keep us posted...

I may not be ale to see BD2 until Saturday...on call on Thurs/ Fri am so I can't go to the midnight showing, then I decided to have a family pre-holiday get together that Friday night. Over the years my sisters and their children have drifted towards other family members as the kids have grown up, had children etc...so I decided I would try to get everyone over before the holidays

DEB

I hope all goes well for your sister...keep us posted...we will include her in our thoughts and prayers.

I have to say your husband is exceptional. My husband won't admit that he likes the movies but he has been to see them with me more than once...lol..He likes Alice the best also...

I think that is so funny that he dislikes Jacob. I think that is quite common amongst many of the readers...Jacob is a little different in the book as opposed to the films. I, being the odd ball loved Jacob in the books...I have discussed this with DK many time about how I enjoyed his sense of humor...lol

Super that still bothers me every time I go in that particular Wal-Mart. I had just said Hi to her and made small talk about five minutes before it happened. She was a CSM. She was talking about how busy it had been and she would have some more lines opened up soon. She went up front to start getting employees to open up more lines and that is when it happened. It was such a senseless and cold hearted thing for someone to do to someone.

Oneheart said...

I tried to tell him that if there had been no Jacob then there would have been no story. Jacob's whole purpose of being attracted to Bella was because of Renesmee..he thought he was drawn to her because of his feelings for her, but in reality it is Renesmee he loves. All I got was him rolling his eyes..

Which led to the whole imprinting thing and trust me that is one subject you don't want to get him started on. LMAO

Kami said...

Well I guess I'll check my magazines before I buy them from now on, wouldn't want someone like Candy kisses tearing out all the good stories about Kristen out of articles. :)

Imagine how angry I'd be to get home and after splurging on a magazine finding CandyKisses rabies on it!

LITMOM -- So sorry to hear about your friend/co-worker... so young. Life is so short and we just never know from minute to minute. I hope his family will be strong, especially his wife.

Morning all.
No work for me today because of the storm. To all of those in it's path, please stay safe and heed the warnings.
Public transportation (subway, buses, trains) has been shutdown. Public and private schools and colleges closed.
The wind is picking up here but no rain at the moment where I am.

Litmom: My thoughts and prayers go out to your co-worker, his wife and children. It's so very difficult to find words when you hear something like this.

Stay safe everyone.
Cheers!

GINGER

Yes, I don't chew gum very often but I think I can buy some at Earthfare that is devoid of the poison.

Stay safe everybody

Ginger LMAO your description of CK is right on..you never forget that face. Especially when she's trying to look all sexy and it looks like a horror movie gone wrong. LOL

East Coasters stay safe..The wind keeps getting stronger here and they're calling for a foot of snow where I live. The worse is suspose to be later this afternoon, fingers crossed it waits until I get home from work. Hope the snow doesn't happen. If we're getting this from it, I can imagine how bad it will be further north. Hang tight and my prayers are with you.

Have a great Monday everyone.

Thanks for all of your concerns for my co-worker. There is no news this morning, so his family has him for another day.

All of you in the storm's path - hang in there. I know it's not fun, but maybe you get a few days off???

And wait - Kami - surely you weren't comparing Oneheart to CandyKisses? WOW - That's the LAST person I would compare her to! I'm hoping you were kidding!

@ Oneheart - I think I screamed what the hell is that the 1st time I saw a picture then I asked why - I just want to know why. I feel bad saying this about Tori Spelling but she looks like a very wonky fun house version of her in clown make up (MiMi from drew Carey comes to mind blue shadow and all)

@Ginger and everyone else....wow gone four days and so much has happened!

Yeah, I agree with u ginger on the premiere stuff. I just wander if they actually all sit down and go over strategy about how they want it to all go down. I mean I would if I were them. I don't understand the haters. I beginning to think robs comment about people wanting a royal couple is true to some extent.

And rob at Kubrick thing was just amazing. He was in the presence of his favorite actor jack. I hope they got to talk. Nicholson prob had his glasses on and thinks he's to cool though lol. I'm sure rob made some great connections though. And that's why I wish Kristen could have been there for career reasons but I don't think that's probably possible right now. I don't understand people wondering why she wasn't though. I mean, my husband doesn't take me to work right? And this thing was about his work and not a social event people.

Welp good to be back. Had a relaxing weekend with hubs now it's back to housework instead of hotels lol.

Wat say you Rose........?

@Tracybell- Oh she was invited and not as his guest - really most of the drama is held with the Twilight fans and the media - if walls could talk in that room with all those actors there would be no stone throwing at all. They just aren't going to feed the beast and they have never attended functions like that together before so I am not sure why everyone is shocked she didn't go - she was invited to the Elle event and passed too. I guess I will never understand the constant need people have to fret over their careers - 6 months ago she was over working - she takes a break and her career is over - all really over dramatic. I would love to see them attend things like that if they wanted to without someone screaming PR or refusing to let the Edward/Bella image go (which I suspect is the real issue since they are trying to break the stigma in the industry and with fans)but until people drop the illusion I doubt we will see it for a while. They are in such a damned if you do (they are PR) and damned if you don't (see he doesn't love her he was with Cameron Diaz who shockingly is blonde) situation.

@Ginger you are absolutely right. I can't believe how this thread exploded while I was gone lol. Using phone so very time consuming to read through and get the gist of posts. Looks like a lot of u guys are on east coast so just hope everything gets back to normal soon.

@Dreamer ** don't think we've "met" although I used to post randomly at ROaR all that time ago and I review pretty consistently for my fave authors on ff lol. I have read some of ur posts and I have to say u are a freakin music library. I love music of all kinds...some 60's to now of all genres esp rock *nirvana to loverboy* and most recently red dirt...Brantley Gilbert anyone? Turnpike troubadors? Although new TT album not my fave you need to listen to "Everygirl". not specifically a country fan but I just love "Dirt Road anthem"original by Brantley Gilbert and not that piece of sh*t by Jason Andean lol.

Have a good day Roseland!

@Super ** read ur posts about processed sugar and hfcs. I agree 100%. My son did his senior paper on it and no one would ever consume those products again if they knew what studies mayo and Anderson found out about them and lInked It to. I agree about bottled pop, although I quit it 4 years ago, but processed sugar (taking sugar cane, beet sugar, etc) and making it the white granular stuff or liquid sugar is just as bad. When sugar derived from a plant source is processed, it DNA structure is changed and turns violent in our body once consumed. It negatively effects our brain, endocrine system, digestive system and others I can't remember. HFCS and other processed sugars act just like heroine in our brain. Did u see that show on tv recently about it? No wonder people get addicted to pop. Ok enough Debby downer lol. I still enjoy a drink or two every now and then though.

Alimac: Hi. The wind is beginning to pick up here, stronger than earlier. It's raining but not heavily.

Kami: I think I'm correct in saying that 30 lives on the Jersey shore and that state's Governor has asked those residents to evacuate.
I remember her saying that she didn't evacuate for hurricane Irene but the brunt of this storm has not hit yet and is predicted to be much more powerful.
