Lists, Lies and Lunatics.

I.AM.NONSTEN.

It's been an interesting few days in this fandom.

A week of Lists.
Lies
Lunatics.
And Liberty.

Here's my list...

1. LIES
I always thought that these low class rags were written
by schizophrenic idiots...
They can never make up their mind whether
Rob and Kristen
are OBSESSED or SPLIT!
Not that the truth actually matters to them.
So they just continually go back and forth...
Letting the voices in their heads argue.
For example... Australian rags have been harping on
Rob getting together with Emilie de Ravin?
Really?
I'm pretty sure she is filming her TV show
Once Upon a Time
(Which I love btw)
in CANADA.
But... hey... she is Australian
(and married)
So why not throw them together?

Just goes to show how they can make up
any lame bullshit they want
and print it like its true.

It's ALL made up.
ALL OF IT.
They don't have any sources close to the couple.
They don't know ANY intimate details.
They don't know.
Anything.
Period.

2. This picture created quite the buzz.
Why?
Well.
Because there's a sorta kinda drought thing going on.
So any picture is clutched tightly to the fandom bosom.
Even ones where he is simply riding a bike.
All I have to say is...
Where is your helmet, Rob??

You best be careful, Mister.
That's some pretty important stuff you have up there...

3. Lunatics.
This is kinda how I picture the Lunatic Fringe...
Always green.
Always bitter.
Always wanting what they can't have...
and jealous of those who have it.
Always stalking and hating and obsessing
over one small girl.
And always getting what comes to them in the end.

What a world... what a world...

Guess what?
The witch doesn't win.
I hope you're ready for it.

4. Lists.

There were some lists being made on Twitter.
List of haters.
List of people who blocked haters
List of people who made list of haters
List of people who made lists of people
who blocked haters who made lists...
And the list goes on.
But some 'people' were getting pretty bent
over being on a list.
It was kinda amusing.
How many times did I type list?
Get back to me on that
or you will be on a list.

5. Lunatics.
Liberty (who?) Ross filed for divorce
from Ruperv Sanders today.
Yeah I had forgotten about them too.
Lo and behold...
She's being touted as some sort of saint now.

Personally
I don't wish any ill will on Miss Ross.
I just don't care what she is doing.
But every now and then (like today)
Her face and that of her lecherous soon to be ex
get thrown in my timeline...
The woman is getting a damn divorce, people...
Get off the ridiculous soapboxes about
what a great heroine she is.
People get divorced.
ALL the time.
That doesn't make her special.
Or brave.
Or an incredible warrior.
It makes her 1 out of every 2 marriages
that have failed ~ ordinary.
Sad. But true.
Sure... the Fringe will pounce all over it and
use this as another opportunity to call Kristen vile names...
Instead of pointing their green talons at the real bad guy.
But according to previous interviews
and previous filing for separation...
Things weren't all shiny and pretty
in the house of Sanders anyway.

Let's be real.
The ONLY reason anyone even knows
anything about these two people
is because Kristen's name is sadly attached to them.
Remove her name.
No one gives a shit.
Only the HAGS and the RAGS
will squeeze every bit of blood
out of this tired, dried up old topic...
The rest of the world has moved forward.
Leaving it behind.

Join us.
Or watch out for that bucket of water...

In each others arms... AFTER.

6. Here's the deal.
As awe inspiring as LS is for getting a divorce
(yes, I'm judging you)
It doesn't impact Rob and Kristen's relationship.
Why would it?
Rob and Kristen have made it perfectly clear
where they stand.
Next to each other.
They have moved FORWARD
They are looking ahead.
They have worked through the past issues
and are living in the present...
with eyes on the future.
Together.

Rob is in Australia because he's working.
He does that from time to time... you know?
Sometimes it takes him out of the country.
Sometimes Kristen has stuff to do before she can join him.
That's all there is to it.
So simple.

Rob and Kristen
Always
End
Up
Together.

Always true.

This post is brought to you by Orphans.

TOM IS GOING TO BE ON BROADWAY!!!
OUR BEAUTIFUL TALENTED THOMAS!
This is a big fucking deal.
Finally.
Tom's talent will be seen on a bigger scale.
He's SO watchable.
I can't take my eyes off of him.
I.Cannot.Wait.

The best is yet to come, and baby wont it be fine
You think you've seen the sun, but you ain't seen it shine

Until next time.

Bye for now

I haven't posted music in a awhile and this is my newest guilty pleasure plus they are a home town band that is making it very big - it is very folky music

Love Knows No Time Limits

Starting Here, Starting Now

Barbra Streisand (1966):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2E23eNhDVM

Starting here
Starting now
When we walk
We'll walk together
Year by year
Starting here

Starting now
When we talk
We will say the most
With silence
When we're near
Starting here

Now when you sleep
You will dream a dream
That's free from care
For now
When you wake
I'll be there

So be still
Take my hand
For the greatest journey
Heaven can allow

Starting love
Starting here
Starting now

Now take my hand
For the greatest journey
Heaven can allow
Starting love
Starting here
Starting now

When it makes no real sense

Rhymes & Reasons

John Denver:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPpRyjTP0a0

So you speak to me of sadness
And the coming of the winter
Fear that is within you now
It seems to never end

And the dreams that have
Escaped you
And the hope that you've forgotten
You tell me that you need me now
You want to be my friend

And you wonder where were going
Where's the rhyme
And where's the reason
And it's you cannot accept
It is here we must begin

o seek the wisdom of the children
And the graceful way of flowers
In the wind

For the children and the flowers
Are my sisters and my brothers
Their laughter and their loveliness
Could clear a cloudy day

Like the music of the mountains
And the colours of the rainbow
They're a promise of the future
And a blessing for today

Though the cities start to crumble
And the towers fall around us
The sun is slowly fading
And its colder than the sea

It is written from the desert
To the mountains
They shall lead us
By the hand and by the heart
They will comfort you and me

In their innocence and trusting
They will teach us
To be free

For the children and the flowers
Are my sisters and my brothers
Their laughter and their loveliness
Could clear a cloudy day

And the song that I am singing
Is a prayer to non believers
Come and stand beside us
We can find a better way

@marley
Love that sour mix. Amaretto sour. Stoned sours. Midori sour. I am almost a pro, drowning sorrow, celebrating love, living, loving, tasting what tastes good. Drunk is an attitude of fratitude.

You must be in a frame of mind that transcends buts and whys while sharing love with those sober and rational, who will tolerate you because you are special and lost, like them, like us all.

marley said...

is that really all you need to make those. I thought you had to have some sort of pucker in there but i just buy them i don't know the mixing :)

DreamerKind said...

@marley
You must add sour mix ie lime, ice, into a chrome container, and shake for 30 seconds while twisting your hips with a smile on your face. So easy. Pucker or pout also, as Rob says he does, out of habit or for effect, even though alone. But he does not share any of his. Naturally.

Pinot Gris. Was supposed to be a housewarming gift to go with raclette cheese grilling delight, but skipped that party, due to not leaving loved ones alone to smile without mirth, along with no social graces, and such but wanting it, now with cheese.

For Marley

Oh, Very Young

Cat Stevens (1976):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bP6B9HttRI8

Oh very young
What will you leave us this time
You're only dancing on this earth
For a short while

And though your dreams may toss
And turn you now
They will vanish away
Like your Daddy's best jeans
Denim blue fading up to the sky

And though you want them to last
Forever you know
You know they never will
And the patches
Make the goodbye harder still

Oh very young
What will you leave us this time
There'll never be a better chance
To change your mind
And if you want this world
To see a better day

Will you carry
The words of love with you
Will you ride
The great white bird into heaven
And though you want to last
Forever you know you never will

And the goodbye makes the journey
Harder still
Oh very young
What will you leave us this time
You're only dancing on this earth
For a short while

Oh very young
What will you leave us
This time

Not quite there but feeling this

You Stepped Out Of Dream
(Instrumental)

Dexter Gordon Quartet (1962/6:39 mins):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsBkm9_vn60

You
Stepped out of a dream,
You are too wonderful
To be what you seem.

Could there be eyes like yours?
Could there be lips like yours?
Could there be smiles like yours,
Honest and truly?

You
Stepped out of a cloud,
I want to take you away
Away from the crowd,
And have you all to myself,

Alone and apart.
Out of a dream
Safe into my heart.

You
Stepped out of a cloud,
I want to take you away
Away from the crowd,
And have you all to myself,
Alone and apart.

Out of a dream,
Safe into my heart...
Wa-dee-la-la
Out of a dream!

It Shouldn't Happen To A Dream

Sarah Vaughan (1955):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Y-iX7LLQ4Y

Millions of stars
Playing tag in the sky
All of my hopes
Living right in your eyes

So much at stake
And then I wake up
It shouldn't happen to a dream

Light fingered clouds
Tucked the moon into bed
I feel your lips
Stand my heart on its head

Then comes the ache
Again I wake up
It shouldn't happen to a dream

The flowers get happy
And dance in the lane
The darkness no long is deep

We're meant for each other
And it's perfectly plain
Each time I walk in my sleep

Here comes the night
Cutting capers again
Just for a while
You'll be with me and then

The bubble will break
Again I'll wake up
It shouldn't happen to a dream

Good morning everyone...Marley a good place to go for crafting ideas is Pinterest. I love that place but I will warn you it is addictive. LOL

Gone Girl is proving to be quite a book. It is definitely unlike any book I have ever read or probably will ever read again. I like it and am looking forward to each page as I read.

Have fun today everyone and I'll talk to you later.

olivia said...

Good morning dear Roseland.

Thank you to all for the wonderful music last night.
Especially loved the old, Cat Stevens, from DK and the new for me, The Lumineers - Ho Hey - from Ginger. I will be looking for more music from the Lumineers !

Oh ali mac and other Roseland Downton viewers,
I am still in shock after last night's episode of Downton. Poor Sybil. I really did not expect what happened. It was an excellent episode but so very, very sad. What will happen to that story line? Sybil and Tom Branson have been my favorites this season. Mary, on the other hand, I dislike her more with each episode. O'Brien is an evil, scheming one. Finally, I hope the story line concerning Mr. Bates and Anna picks up some steam to become more interesting, right now it is dragging much too much.

PL,
Sorry to hear about your friend who passed away. Will keep all in my thoughts and prayers.

Finishing my cuppa and off to school.
Have a wonderful Monday everyone.
Hugs for y'all.
Hugs for Smitty, Gruff and Syd.
Life is good.

ali mac said...

OLIVIA yes the Sybil story really is a shocker!! I blubbed like a baby! I really like Tom as a character, I really loved him as a chauffeur, I have a thing about men in uniform :) he he. And I have to agree about Mary, she really is hard to like.

Happy 200th Birthday to Pride and Prejudice. One of my all time favorites.

Mary said...

Good morning or afternoon to everyone.

Olivia and Ali, I too was shocked with the Sybil storyline, though it seemed a bit contrived. I realize it's 1920 but the doctor just stood off to the side doing nothing? And Mary is awful this year. I started to warm up to her last season but now she needs to get that stick out of her ass. And did I miss something? When did Thomas go the other way, or hasn't he? What is going on there?

Oneheart,
Have you reached part 3 yet?

ali mac said...

PL ha ha!! Thomas has been going the other way from the very first series. It hadn't been part of the storyline for a while though.

ali mac said...

Do you not remember he fell for the soldier when he was working in the hospital and he had a fling with someone in the first series too.

Mary said...

Ali, of course, now I remember that soldier he liked. I dislike him so much of the time that I totally forgot about that.

This season I do not like Mary at all and I like Edith a lot more than I ever did. I think Matthew would have been better suited for her, they are both more modern in their thinking and not so class conscious.

If the season continues like this I'll be cheering for Matthew to leave the show like I've been reading he might. He needs to get away from that cold hearted woman.

ali mac said...

PL the actor who plays Thomas is such a likeable person in reality (as if I know him personally lol) he plays the character so well and Mary too anytime I've seen her interviewed she is really nice. I really like Edith, they all are lucky to have such good characters to play.

ali mac said...

I will say nothing about Matthew. I'll not give anything away :)

Mary said...

I know something is going to happen concerning Matthew. I saw tweets from some people in the UK when the season ended and they said they will never watch the show again.

I'd rather they ended the Bates storyline. That is so slow and boring and I was never that crazy about Bates to begin with.

ali mac said...

I'll not even say what I think about the final episode in the series because it would give too much away. I'm looking forward to hearing what everyone thinks though.

marley said...

Good day everyone!

@oneheart-yes I know about pintrest but I tryy to avoid it since it IS so addictive and I always get distracted and forget what I'm actually looking for. lol

@Birdie- hope you like some or all of the music. sounds like today is gonna be the last warmer day for little while so hope you are able to enjoy that as well!

Have a great monday everyone!!!! =) <3

Litmom said...

A little late to the party today, but Ginger, marley - great music talk. I love Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers, Yael Naim,...my daughter turns me on to all the good stuff. She'll call and say, "Mom, here's another song you need to listen to." - and then I'll be obsessed for a while.

DK - Yes, fairy-like and wonderful :-)

Looks like I need to read Gone Girl.

Downton was great last night - set up so many new conflicts! Mwah ah ah!
I knew what was going to happen, so it wasn't such a shock - and I do know what happens at the end of the season :-( .

And marley - do what Oneheart says, and go on Pinterest for Valentine craft ideas.

The Damned Egg
A Scotsman and an Englishman lived next door to each other.

The Scotsman owned a hen and each morning he would look in his garden and pick up one of his hen's eggs for breakfast.

One day he looked into his garden and saw that the hen had laid an egg in the Englishman's garden. He was about to go next door when he saw the Englishman pick up the egg.

The Scotsman ran up to the Englishman and told him that the egg belonged to him because he owned the hen.

The Englishman disagreed because the egg was laid on his property.

They argued for a while until finally the Scotsman said, "In my family we normally solve disputes by the following actions: I kick you in the testicles and time how long it takes for you to get back up. Then you kick me in the testicles and time how long it takes for me to get up. Whoever gets up quicker wins the egg."

The Englishman agreed to this and so the Scotsman put on the heaviest pair of boots he could find. He took a few steps back, then ran toward the Englishman and kicked him as hard as he could in the testicles.

The Englishman fell to the floor clutching his groin, howling in agony for 30 minutes.

Eventually the Englishman stood up and said, "Now it's my turn to kick you."

The Scotsman smiled and said, "Ye can keep the damn egg!!"

Good Day/Evning Roseland!!
I hope everyone had a great week end.

PL- I finished Gone Girl. And like you, can't wait to see what everyone else's take on it is.

Mary said...

Annie said...

Good evening all.

Well PL, I just got in and after dinner I will be back to reading Gone Girl...........Not to give anything away but the more you read the more your chin hits the floor.
Very, very well written.

marley said...

thanks guys. i cant wait to start readin!

Kami said...

Marley, it is one of those books that captures your attention from Page one and while you might want to skim the more wordy parts, you feel guilty if you do because like Annie says it's a well written book. I'm enjoying it anyway

Annie said...

Also I have to say a word or two about Silver Linings Playbook.
I saw the movie over the weekend and I wonder at the multiple nominations. The movie was very good but the only performance that was truly worthy of an Oscar nomination in my opinion was Bradley Cooper......Just excellent in his role.

The rest of the cast was good but I feel that if the Weinstein company was not behind the movie, it would have been largely overlooked.

Kami said...

Annie, it looks like Jennifer Lawerence is a shoe in for Best Actress Oscar, she won a SAG last night, I haven't seen the movie, but I was surprised that she is now the front runner, it's not the typical Oscar role, but good for her. I think Argo will most likely win Best Picture...but who knows.

Annie said...

Hi Kami: At the SAG awards last year, Viola Davis won and was a shoe in for the Oscar but Meryl Streep won that one....... I think Emmanuelle Riva was just brilliant in Amour and also Jessica Chastain in Zero Dark Thirty.
We'll see though.

Annie said...

Argo is an excellent movie.

Mary said...

Annie,

And last year Meryl Streep was in a Weinstein. A couple years ago Nine was nominated and it was not critically acclaimed at all, yet it was a Weinstein movie. So there definitely seems to be a pattern.

Kenzz said...

PL, I was at Book Club (or Wine Club, as Mr. Kenzz refers to it) on Friday, and realized next month is my turn to host. So I chose Gone Girl, thanks to you and the Roseland Book Club (& the fact I've already read it was a ++)

Can't wait to see what the comments are here...

Take care everyone... funny jokes from Pist and ali mac... thanks for the laughs :)

Annie said...

PL: It seems the pattern is .....,...See TWC (The Weinstein Company) check every available box for nominations.

Ginger with a Soul said...

Evening Ladies and Robert

@Litmom - There are those times that nothing beats a good uplifting song - those guys are so soulful and I am lucky the Lumineers are from here because they play more often and smaller venues, we are going next time they are in town as they just played a couple weeks ago.

@Annie/PL - I heard the Weinstein's SPL in consideration of book was so thick it could be a coffee table read. Lots and lots of talk about him buying his awards.

@Holy - waves - did you get to see what was trended today and laugh at the people it made mad. The simplest things set people off and give me time to do my ugly laugh

@Birdie - Thank you :)

Mary said...

If you were in a position to vote, which would you choose: Argo, Lincoln or Silver Lining Playbook?

I liked all of them, but for overall entertainment value and exceptional acting, I'd choose Argo. John Goodman and Alan Arkin were wonderful. The hidden hostages were all good, especially Scoot whatever. The pacing was good, the story, all of it. It has everything the Kings Speech had, interesting subject, good cast, some exceptional, broad appeal.

Annie said...

Hi Hi Ginger.
Care to share what was trending. :)

The Oscar nominations are such a disappointment to me.

Annie said...

Everything you said PL........ I would choose Argo too. It was funny, dramatic, intense and edge of your seat.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Annie - someone started a world wide trend that said Kristen Pattinson - oh the melt downs over such a silly thing was hilarious. Shouty Caps all over the place from both sides. Ugly laughter

Kenzz said...

Man, I need to get out more... I haven't seen any of them! Although I am currently reading Silver Linings Playbook...

Mary said...

Ginger and Annie, I imagine there has always been a Weinstein type in the awards mix, but if it seems obvious to us as outsiders, imagine the talk in Hollywood circles.

I remember last year's Oscars and several winners thanked Harvey Weinstein. I highly doubt that was a coincidence.

Since I am at no risk of ever hoping for a nomination, I guess it doesn't really matter.

Mary said...

Hi Kenzz, You know, you are cheating kind of with your book club selection, but we won't tell.

Freddie said...

Hi ladies,

Kenzz - I haven't seen any of them either. It'll be me waiting for them to come on the Movie Channel at some point down the road. But everyone's reviews are good to hear.

How is everyone?

Kami - is your husband still enjoying his new Keurig? I hope he's sharing with you.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@PL - Jennifer Lawrence made a joke when she won the globes about who he had killed to get her that award. The critics are the ones I keep seeing talk a lot about his "influence" - I wish they weren't so political and the work spoke for itself. The actors get a slant no matter what because of it and they truly could have been the best. The Oscar seem to be the worst with their snubs.

Annie said...

Hi Kenzz, Hi Freddie. :)

Celebrating our warming spell.......mid 30's right now. :)

Freddie said...

Hey Annie - we're the same. We're supposed to be ~50F tomorrow but it will be raining. Then it's supposed to drop back down. I'm not minding the warm spells as it gives me hope that Spring isn't too far off (I'm just fooling myself, I suspect).

How have you been?

Kenzz said...

PL: Don't ask, don't tell is my motto... I'm hoping all of the insightful, diverse, and generally deep comments will contribute to my looking brilliant at Book Club in February (so let's get this train rolling gals, OK?!!) LOL

BTW, I'm applying for work after 18 years of being a stay at home Mom... wish me luck in trying to appear relevant!

Kami, isn't the Keurig the coffee equivalent of the IPhone for cell phones? Couldn't live without ours!!

Hi Freddie and Olivia, and anyone else who gave me a shout out.. wish I could spend more time here, but know I check in as often as RL allows, and miss my interactions with so many of you..

Annie said...

Ginger: I lose my interest in wanting to watch the Oscars every year.......It should be about the movies, not about who can produce the biggest/ thickest "For your consideration" book.

I prefer watching the BAFTAS to be honest.

Kenzz said...

Annie: Howdy! We're snowing here now, but warming up to high 50's on Wednesday... crazy weather!

Mary said...

Kenzz,

Good luck with the job application. I went back to work after being home for years and found I was a very desirable applicant. They didn't have to worry that I wanted full time for benefits. I was not going to get pregnant and take maternity leave and as long as your hormones are under control, it's all good.

I'm going to see what Mr Pl is up to, so like Kenzz said, get reading ladies.

Freddie said...

Kenzz - that's wonderful. Good luck with your interviews. I'm sure you are still relevant.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Kenzz - Good luck for sure

@Annie - yup I totally agree but then again I don't tend to watch a movie based on hype but more for the interest in the plot line so the awards do nothing to influence my choice

Annie said...

Kenzz: Great luck.........You will be relevant. :)

Annie said...

Kenzz: I normally love, love the winter but damn if I don't crave the tropics and a beach chair!

Annie said...

Ginger: So meltdowns.......really? .)
Too funny!

PamH said...

Hello Roseland

@ ginger
That reminds me of the time a couple years or so ago when a bunch of people had melt downs and arguments on TC/Awful Truth when someone told that R&K signed their Xmas cards with The PATTINSON'S, I'm sure it was false story but everyone went nuts on both sides, I can remember some of us from R'nation talking about how crazy the hatred was over something so stupid and probably untrue to begin with.

I hope by next month we hear who is replacing Ben in Focus. It would have been great if K could have found another project to squeeze in before April but I'm sure she has things keeping her busy.

Kenzz said...

Annie,
...and a little umbrella drink...
...and a steel drum band!

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Annie - Shouty Caps were the best - every time I see them all I can think of is Henry Winkler in the Water Boy when he is talking on the phone (but the cord is cut) in high heels stomping his foot. Someone started taunting them by saying Robert Stewart - holy shit it is funny to watch the self righteous loose there shit - it is not that serious, I would pay to see reactions half that intense to real issues.

olivia said...

Good evening to all.
A quick peek in.

My vote is for Argo.

Pisteou,
Enjoyed the joke!

Kenzz,
Excited for you and your job search. Just know you will wow them in your interviews. Hope you find a wonderful position that is mentally stimulating and emotionally satisfying where your contributions make a difference.

Hugs for y'all.
Will peek back in tomorrow morning.
Hugs for Smitty, Gruff and Syd.
Life is good.

Kenzz said...

Annie, enough!! Now all I can think about is booking a vacation to somewhere warm and tropical! hahaha When I should be focusing on completing my resume and cover letter :)

Annie said...

Ginger: Laughing out loud!

If that is how they reacted because someone started a trend topic, can you even imagine the reactions if it were really true?

Good Lord Twitter would break down completely.

Kenzz said...

Ginger, I forgot to mention I was saddened to read about your bad experience with your mountain trip... Hope you've recovered, and I think you're very strong to not hold a grudge against your ex-inlaws!

Kami said...

Ginger love Phillip Phillips, a friend and I watched him win American Idol last year. I loved him.

Freddie, Kenzz, Heith loves the Keurig and he has been nice enough to share with me. This weekend I had a really great morning blend coffee and then yesterday I had "Southern Pecan" and while it was good, it would have been better had it just been a flavor not the whole coffee.

Annie, I agree, sometimes the Oscars go their own way and it's completely different from the SAGs. I think I would choose Argo too.

Ok back to reading.

Annie said...

Ginger: I love that song by Phillip Phillips!

Here's another good one:

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Annie - Hahaha !!! I promise you twitter will break along with all the haters keyboards - I just want a warning so I can grab my popcorn... oh the reactions will be priceless. Hell I am waiting to their freak outs when they see her in Australia.

@Kenzz - Thanks - I was trying to be the bigger person to go because they were spreading his fathers ashes and I didn't want my kids there without me - he is my ex for a reason.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Annie - I love love Fun too. They are awesome - the whole car will sing We Are Young anytime it comes on

@Pam - yeah Naomi had said something about it not happening now a while back - Jude just confirmed it further. Indie films are the ones that you wait until they film to trust they will actually happen.

Annie said...

Ginger: Well it will be the go to excuse........say it with me........PR. :) :)

BD2 has made almost a billion dollars and the damn thing still needs PR!

Ginger with a Soul said...

2Annie - nah they are prepping for the new excuse because they know the last 4 yrs of saying it was PR has expired - ready for it - he is just a nice guy and is pretending to be with her to save her career and I wish I was kidding with that line of bullshit.

Annie said...

Ginger: You cannot be serious!

Ginger with a Soul said...

@annie - Right - yeah, I scoffed but you can't fix stupid and they say it all the time now. Awww how nice to give up your life (my eyes rolled so hard a gave Linda Blair a run for her money on her head roll)

Annie said...

Ginger: No you can't fix stupid but you sure as hell can laugh at it..

Hi everyone...peeping out from behind "THE BOOK"...LOL I only get to read before work and a little after so I am just now entering Part 2 and I have to say Gillian Flynn is an awesome writer. Who would think up anything like this. Wow...

I haven't used my brain this much since....well never. LOL Litmom you have to start reading this book, I think you will like it.

Love the jokes. Marley glad you are going to Pinterest to look for some craft ideas, you'll find what you need there.

Wow today was a beautiful day...65 degrees sure beats the 20's we had this weekend. I'll take warm weather over the cold, even if it is only for a couple of days.

Holy said...

@Ginger-hey girl, yes I saw both, the first one was Brazil welcomes Robsten and the next one was Kristen Pattinson. We were laughing at work when we saw that during break.

Holy said...

@Ginger- we know that those awards are political. How many good actors/directors are being snub by them.Too many.
Oh how about the meltdown when they saw that article that Michael A is dating that girl.LOL.

Annie said...

Oneheart: The writing is brilliant!
Part 2 is a jaw dropper. Good Lord!

Annie said...

G'night everybody.

Ginger, Annie and Holy

It's a wonder that the trend topic didn't cause the North Pole to melt. Oh wait. Maybe that's why the weather has been so bad lately. lol

Holy said...

@Tuf-It almost did.LOL.

Ginger with a Soul said...

Had to run to the store and got stuck behind an extreme couponer with one lane open - was awesome.

@Holy - Oh God the Michael A thing was funny as shit too - I guess those that were clinging to him just fell off - bye LOL. The people freaking over that trend still make me laugh - such a simple thing and poof here comes the crazy. Don't forget we are sheeps - yes I said sheeps because it not like sheep isn't already plural.

@Tuff - the cried tear of ice straight from their cold ass hearts. Don't you dare muddle his name with hers - oh lord so funny

Oneheart said...

Good morning....I was so busy reading I missed the trending talk..What was trending, it sounds like it was really good. Hope it made the haters cringe...

Annie..there are no words for Part 2 of this book. All I can say is OMG!!!

Annie said...

Morning all!
Oneheart: Absolutely!
Someone mentioned about Reese Witherspoon having the rights to the book for the movie version....... I just cannot see her in the role of Amy.

Mary said...

Good Morning on this rainy day. We had thunder and lightening last night, unreal.

Annie,
I read that Reese and her partners have the rights to the book with intent to produce. I really, really hope she doesn't want to star too. I can see why she would, but, for me, it isn't a good fit.

Oneheart,
Wait until part 3 for more jaw dropping.

tufenuf55 said...

PL

We are expecting heavy thunderstorms tomorrow. It is said that when it thunders in Winter, expect snow in the near future. Don't know if you live where it snows. We get snow once in a while.

Annie

I love Reese and probably have seen all of her movies. But didn't think she was a good fit for Water for Elephants either. She was too mature for that part. I still loved the movie (yes, because of Rob and the book) and think Reese did the best she could as to her character.

Annie said...

PL:
I truly am bursting to discuss this book!

Tufenuf55:
Reese was all wrong as Marlena in WFE. Yes, she was too old for the role. She also didn't have the chemistry with Rob to make the romance between the characters believable and the movie suffered because of it.

marley said...

Happy Tuesday everyone, haha.

@Ginger yes this song is good but since they way OVERPLAYED it durring olympics and on the radio I can only listen to it every once in awhile.

@Oneheart thanks again. ;)

so super bowl sunday is comming anyone have any good mixes or dishes you are making??

Mary said...

Annie, LOL! Now you know why I was so obsessed with this book a week ago.

Tuf, I live where we normally have at least 100 inches of snow a year. This year we are way behind that. So far the thunder and lightening has only brought rain and thick fog.

Holy said...

Hello ladies and gents.

Nobody knows where is Kristen right now. She's so good of being a ninja and I love it.

@Pam/Birdie-hey there, did you guys watched The Following last night?

@Ginger-waves.

PamH said...

Hello All

@Holy
My hubby and I are watching it on our computer tomorrow since we went out with family last night. I really liked the first show so were looking forward to it.
Kristen is doing a great ninja job but according to HollywoodLies she's spending all her time with her brother Taylor and her dogs, which I think is possible, but I'm positive they don't have a real clue what she's doing.
My niece told me to go there to see the Bieber boob grab pic..I thought she was joking...sadly she wasn't

HAPPY TUESDAY, ROSELAND!!!

I haven't ANY of the comments for the past 48 hours so have no idea what's going on here. I just wanted to say HELLO!!! AND to let everyone know that I'M TWIRLING ... because I know it isn't going to be long before Rob & Kristen are together again.

Liz in LALA LAND ...

Oneheart said...

Hi Roseland..hope everyone is doing well. It feels good to be home from work.

Liz keep twirling and I'll twirl along with you. Love your Lalala land...

PL thank you for suggesting this book. I would never have read it otherwise. OMG it takes over your thoughts. I set at work today thinking of what is going to happen next. Why does it consume your thoughts? OMG each page is another discovery. LOL Last night I was reading while walking and ran into the coffee table. LOL My husband said Hon there's a coffee table there..he busted out laughing. I may be covered in bruises before I finish this one.

Kami said...

One heart LOL my hubby sat through about 45 minutes of me talking endlessly about the book

LizzieD said...

ONEHEART -- I'm watching the warnings on the TV right now ... not sure how high the winds are supposed to be but the warning/advisory is in effort from 6:00am until midnight tomorrow night.

Time to batten down the hatches. I live in the woods so hope no trees fall on the house. Mom gets really scared when the high winds come.

GOOD NIGHT ALL!!!

Oneheart said...

Good night Lizzied stay safe. I dread it, we are getting the advisory warnings too..with all the rain, snow and ice lately the trees aren't going to be very secure in the ground. We had a 20 some year old guy get killed about 8 miles from my house last year because a tree fell on his car. So please stay safe!!!!

Holy said...

@Ginger- yes,I saw that.I think everyone are cracking up about that tweet.LOL.

tufenuf55 said...

Just watched the pilot and chapter 2 of The Following on Hulu. I am totally hooked! I have always enjoyed all Kevin Bacon movies. He is a brilliant actor. These episodes were like watching a movie for free. So many twists and turns. Can't wait for chapter 3 (as Fox is calling them).

We are supposed to get really bad weather here also and with high winds. Hope we all end up safe and sound.

Man the things people can think up on twitter :) next they'll need an Angel to take on Satan and all his spawn LOL

@ tuf
The Following was great and it had a lot of surprises. I didn't liked Maggie Grace and I told my hubby I thought the girl that played Charlotte in BD2 was also in it but I could be wrong.

Rose, wow! U are incredible and I love your sarcastic whit as usual. I have been sick for the third time with the flu and it really stinks. Yes, I even took the flu shot.....some good it did. Anyway, I am glad I don't have twitter or as I call it twatter because I am sure I would be on someone's list. I choose not to get caught up in all that nonsense. I am glad I don't see all the nastiness posted there about Kristen. Social media is just so easily abused. As for LS and Ruperv.... their 15 min of fame via Kristen's coattails is over. You are right, we have moved on, some of us sooner than later. Haters still and may always use it as an excuse. Unfortunately for them, it doesn't and won't change shit. Cry them a river I guess. I hope Kristen is keeping busy and I hope we hear something about her soon. Rob.....as an avid cyclist I say.....get a helmet dummy. Good luck to Tom with his play. Rose, I wish that you get to see him perform. I have enjoyed reading most of the comments, good laughs. Rose, you are lucky to have such an awesome following. I feel better now.

One day a man was hiking down an old dirt road when he noticed, down an embankment, a man tied naked, face down to a large fallen tree. The hiker ran down to the man, and while removing his backpack asked, ''What happened to you?''

The tied up man began to tell him, ''I picked up a hitchhiker and a few miles down the road he held me up. He told me to pull over and took my car, my money, and all of my clothes. Then he tied me up to this tree.''

The hiker unzipped his fly and said, ''Boy, this just isn't your day, is it?''

Pisteuo said...

Hey Roseland!!

Haha Kami!

Here's a story for ya's:
This is a story about a couple who had been happily married for
years. The only friction in their marriage was the husband's habit of farting loudly every morning when he awoke.

The noise would wake his wife and the smell would make her eyes water and make her gasp for air.

Every morning she would plead with him to stop ripping them off because it was making her sick. He told her he couldn't stop
and that it was perfectly natural. She told him to see a
doctor. She was concerned that one day he would blow his guts out.

The years went by and he continued to rip them out! Then one Thanksgiving morning as she was preparing the turkey for dinner and he was upstairs sound asleep, she looked at the bowl where she had put the turkey innards and neck, gizzard, liver and all the spare parts and a malicious thought came to her.

She took the bowl and went upstairs where her husband was sound asleep and, gently pulling back the bed covers, she pulled
back the elastic waistband of his underpants and emptied the bowl of turkey guts into his shorts.

Some time later she heard her husband waken with his usual trumpeting which was followed by a blood curdling scream and
the sound of frantic footsteps as he ran into the bathroom.

The wife could hardly control herself as she rolled on the floor
laughing, tears in her eyes! After years of torture she reckoned she had got him back pretty good.

About twenty minutes later, her husband came downstairs in his
bloodstained underpants with a look of horror on his face.

She bit her lip as she asked him what was the matter. He said, "Honey, you were right. All these years you have warned me
and I didn't listen to you.

"What do you mean?" asked his wife.

"Well, you always told me that one day I would end up farting my guts out, and today it finally happened. But by the grace of God, some Vaseline, and these two fingers, I think I got most of them back in.

Mary said...

Pist,

I'd heard that one before but it's still gross. here ya go:

"Don't laugh!" said Ed to the doctor.

"Of course I won't laugh," the doctor said. "I'm a professional. In over twenty years I've never laughed at a patient."

"Okay then," Ed said, and proceeded to drop his trousers, revealing the tiniest "member" the doctor had ever seen. It could not have been bigger than the size of an AAA battery.

Unable to control himself, the doctor started giggling, and then fell laughing to the floor.

Ten minutes later, he was able to struggle to his feet and regain his composure. "I'm so sorry," said the doctor. "I really am. I do not know what came over me. On my honor as a doctor and a gentleman, I promise it will not happen again. Now what seems to be the problem?"

"It's swollen," Ed replied
