We got to see Rob
all shiny and pretty in a tux
And we got to see Kristen
Shimmering sexy in red
We saw Rob show up to support Kristen
at the OTR premiere
Then we got to watch Kristen
looking drop dead gorgeous
to support Rob for Cosmopolis...
With handsome Thomas on her arm.
What a glorious time.
A stupendous incredible wonderful time.
Could it get even better?
Is it possible?
Oh yes my little chickadees...
We all know how it got beyond anything
we would ever imagine happening...
There really aren't words.
In fact...
No words are really needed.
Pictures are indeed worth a thousand words.

They are priceless.
But then...
As wonderful and incredible as Cannes was...

These were a BIG fucking deal.

And that's all we really wanted...
For both of them to be ALL RIGHT.

They never gave up.
WE never gave up.
Proving the Rags and the Hags wrong.
So many turned their back on them...
So many showed their true colors.
So many judged and criticized.
And sadly... so many have chosen
the moment of Rob and Kristen's public pain...
as their BEST moment of 2012.
Doesn't that pretty much tell you
what kind of people they truly are?
So my BEST fandom moment really is
the fact that Rob and Kristen
REMAIN
That they still love each other.
That they walked through the fire

They must love their Mexican food! My sister-in-law is Mexican, and she's never made tortilla soup for me because she's not from "that region" of Mexico. Anyway, I had some awhile back and it is delicious. I esp. like it extra sour by adding lime juice.
Kristen is so little when compared to Rob. He is her protector...although she can, no doubt, take care of herself!
@Topaz, yea seems like they love it – i think i read somewhere that rob’s fave soup that kristen makes is tortilla soup, am i right?
my absolute fave (though it’s not mexican but south american) are peruvian ceviches.
there’s a restaurant (it’s actually 3 branches) in san francisco called “fresca” – i think they have the best ceviches anywhere, better than even the best ceviche places in miami, imo, the food critic that i am lol.
i could just sit at fresca eating those ceviches & be in food heaven :)

@Pam - there were rumors she actually went as far as to bash Kristen on tumbler - the sad part is how little faith she had in them and it tells you that she was really only tolerating her for the Rob ride. No respect for any of those people that did that and they were never her supporter to begin with

On the topic of food, I am currently watching a lot of Lidia Bastianich's cooking on youtube. I used to watch her show on PBS. She and Julia Child are my favorites. I get so hungry after watching Lidia cook!

I love Lidia. One day last year, I just happened on her show. She was cooking and her mother-in-law was also on to enjoy Lidia's meal. She is wonderful!

I don't know why it is, but after knowing my own family is safe and sound, to finally see a pic of Rob and Kristen puts a smile on my face. I feel good knowning that they, too, are happy and living life.

For me the way S was so NO Drama ( even toward Taylor ) to just leave everyone hanging and turning on Kristen left me going WHAT THE HELL ...I will give her credit for having the quickest news and photos and the time she put into the end of year stuff but after all the years I spent on RNation and all the comments I never really felt like I new anyone there or that they cared about anything anyone else had to say. After spending a little time on Rose's blog as a lurker and deciding to comment I feel like I know all you great people ( even though we've never meet ) and that we all care what each other says and thinks.....Now I look back and think I wish I'd found HERE first.

I'm not surprised to know she was bad mouthing because to me a true fan doesn't just turn a 180 like she did....and just totally leave all your followers for weeks on end with nothing....I'm not saying at first I wasn't a little shocked by what happened but after I really thought about it I realized K owed me nothing, it didn't change that I like her and her acting and she's human....so for her to do nothing it proved to me who she really cared about all along.

@Pam - LOL there is a bunch of crap going on twitter about the friends instagrams. A nonsten followed Sydney's private insta and leaked some of her pictures causing Sydney to leave instagram altogether (Sydney is Kristen's friend and was in London with them). There was nothing crazy or shocking about the pictures other than showing a tent we knew they had a party in for NY's. So much drama - so so much but I think they would have been happy with a picture of them together even though they know they were in the same places because of their instagrams pictures

Imo, all instagram accounts should be private, when celebs are friends/family. Le common sense applies.
@DK - I agree but being private didn't stop the person and the person said she was taking the picture off there because it was her source of entertainment - that she hated Kristen and her, her friends, Rob, and Rob's friends all play games with us so she is entitled to play games with them. So much entitlement over someone they don't even know - it is gross.

It's sad that someone puts something up to share among family and friends to only have it backfire in your face by the hands of some crazy person who thinks their entitled to everyone's business.
I think it less likely that we will see anything from their night if it was a private party and location unless it's a hacked pic or one that R&K don't mind sharing. I think the whole private get together is the ways for them to go in the future.

My new avi is from NYE, out at the Hyatt, with the famous Ladies of the Night. It was taken by a fan with our approval, lol. Think it may go viral?
@DK - I actually had never heard of this one - she didn't hack it she somehow followed her private account - I am sure Sydney had no clue that the person was following her and was a hater but I think the effort to clean it up and having to watch for stupid people pushed her over the edge just to leave it altogether. I think they expect people to have boundaries which some have none. Most normal people don't expect people that dislike them to invest that much effort in them but well. The only reason I even knew how the pictures got out was Silly Nonstens called her out and she actually responded saying it was all entertainment to her to get into these accounts
@Pam - if their account is public they know people will look - it is the private accounts that people seem to want to get their hands on.
@DK - I love the picture and you never know -- you can always be the mystery blonde ;)
With the hackers out there, no one should be foolish enough to think that what they post over the internet, phone or any other electronic device, is safe. I'm sure this person was innocent in thinking the pic was just for fam/friends. Lesson learned. Kristen and Rob need to follow Prince's policy. All phones, cameras, etc. are taken at the door.
@Tuff - the part I think I found the funniest was the pictures (there were 2) didn't really show anything at all. All that effort for nothing - we saw more from the public pictures posted. I agree they should know better - still think it is sad that people have to take that from them though.
I agree with you, Ginger. Feel sorry for R&K and their friends. They are just trying to be everyday people having a great time together. And...yes, forget for a while that there are haters out there. I hope they find out who she is and prosecute her, but they probably won't.

Thanks for the welcome,guys. I'm not really that surprised by how S. turned on Kristen so quickly. The mistake she and alot of others who did a 180 on Kristen,failed to wait and see what she and Rob would decide. He knows her heart and that she truly loves him and him only. He forgave her for her mistake and that should have been enough for some to do the same. Instead they chose to join the dark side and all they saw Kristen as was a monster. That's very odd considering I didnt' see that she had turned into one and I chose to stand by her side along with the rest of you guys. The most important thing is that Rob and Kristen give each other strength and their love for each other is all that matters.

Wow - seems I've missed all kinds of great discussions - and at least a couple of unwanted visits. Dang. Limited time (back at work) and limited internet (just got back from an in-law visit - fun times).
I was a little giddy to see Rob & Kristen all relaxed and content in the photo. Hooray for the fan for holding off releasing the pic. It sounds like Rob, Kristen, and the gang have had a wonderful holiday in London and the surrounding area. What a great start to the New Year for them!.
LIZ - Wide Awake was my very first fanfic. It was recommended by a college friend when she found out I was a Twi fan. I'll bet she had no idea she was starting an addiction.

Wanted to test whether my comment would be deleted, so posted: "Good to see that Rob and Kristen are having some private downtime. They look really happy!". Just checked and my comment was posted. Not sure why other fans comments were not allowed.
I don't know why everyone got so excited with the photo of Rob and Kristen from NYE that emerged yesterday. It surely was PR for the BD2 DVD promotion, right? LMAO
I really missed seeing them. I wanted them to have a peacefull holiday, though, so I was torn between my desire to see them and my hope to spend some time the way they wanted it. Judging by the way and the time this picture was taken and the way and time we saw it, I guess both of my wishes were fulfiled.

Happy Saturday everyone! Back to school has been kicking my butt, so I have been among the missing, but what a treat to find a pic of Rob and Kristen this morning! The fans are to be commended for holding off on posting that picture for a few days, hugs to them.
Ginger, I hope you feel better,like I said real life has been kicking me and I didn't know you were sick. You are always so good to me answering questions on Twitter when I am lost in the midst of it all.

Waves to you all... with all the Robstenation talk, I'm so tempted to try to give a little input, but I don't know if I can say this the right way. I was on that blog for about two years and I loved the drama free environment. I thought S loved both Rob and Kristen and loved them together, just like me. And she handled things in such a great way, often connecting present pics with past ones so you could see the connections, like the pic of Rob, Kristen and Rob's parents at Christmas posted with a pic from a few years before of Rob, another man, and Rob's dog, Patti with the tree in the same spot and all. She just had a way of doing things that was so informative, and it was always respectful. And like someone said before here (Ginger?) the format was so easy and loaded quickly.
Some real friendships were formed on that blog, too. I remember GirlfromGermany and Minu becoming real friends, and others, too. The Gutter Girls were hilarious. I thought it was a real community. Like @PamH said, S was super filtering of any drama, even about Taylor. She was fully in charge and personally approved all comments, which must be a monumental task. I remember having some of my own comments never post, and others commenting on that, too. I never took it personally.
When S decided to stop the blog, she said (and I think the post is still there) that she thought she needed to take a step back from "shipping or whatever you want to call it". She planned to go to British Boys, plus possibly get involved in the Live Journal and blog about Rob and Kristen separately. I have no idea if she bashed Kristen... that seems so unlikely. Whatever happened after The Pics, before, she honestly loved Kristen and loved her as an actress. She always defended her. I don't believe she was a veiled hater.
I do think she thought that it could never be the same for her to run the blog, always answering couple drama with things like, "Neither Rob or Kristen would never cheat" or "They're where they're supposed to be"... I think maybe she did idealize their love in a way that it had to be perfect, with no problems or blemishes or mistakes to be able to run the blog.
I love Rob and Kristen and I love them together. Whatever she thinks now, I still believe S loved them both and loved them together. She said she would be happy for them whatever they decided, and continue to follow them and support their careers no matter what, just separately, because for her, it could never be the same to love them as a couple. But she did post the backyard/swimming pool/kissing pics of them when they were up, though had to take them down like everyone did when they were removed.
I don't visit Those British Boys because, just as someone here aptly said, it seems sterile. Plus, I don't care about anyone there but Rob. I love Rose's blog and reading all your comments.
I still feel a kind of loss over Robstenation. I appreciated S always posting everything I'd like to see as a fan that wants to be respectful of R/K. The whole thing has made me take an internal step back... it's sad to feel that people would not be able to see the beauty of Rob and Kristen staying together and in love even through difficulties. That is the beauty of true love. As Shakespeare said, "The course of true love never did run straight".

i feel a bit guilty for starting the whole spiel on r’nation.
was only making a comment on how i was censured on TBB & a few times on r’nation.
& didn’t mean to start a whole thread on it :)
but i guess others had opinions on it too so i think it’s good to let it out.
but as i said later, i wasn’t bitter & just moseyed on down without looking back.
yea, sometimes something we were passionate about may no longer inspire us.
and rather than forcing ourselves to carry on & pretend we’re still passionate about it, we just move on. nothing wrong with that – no one is obligated to stick around esp if its on your own time.
but i agree that at its peak, r’nation was unequaled – very archive-ish.
so hope she maintains the archive for posterity.
also i do believe that time could always change one’s perspective.
