Rob and Kristen- Drought Fever

We are in a drought.
Big time.
And I'm fucking thirsty.

Sure...
We have gotten to see Rob riding a bike
and talking to some guys in a pub
and lets not forget the mystery blonde!
(Who by the way, was just a lucky fan)
But somehow it doesn't seem complete...
Does it?

Well... obviously
That's because we are missing Kristen too!

Seriously.
How fucking long as it been?

Yes. Carrying HIS jacket.

January 12th.
That's how long.

It feels ridiculous to say I miss Kristen.

But I do.
Yeah...
Of course Kristen's name is still being brought up
in every Rag article they can put it in.
Because without her name?
No one cares.
Liberty whatshername...
Oregano someone...

All meaningless drivel that no one really
gives a shit about...
But just add Kristen Stewart
or Robert Pattinson...
and it calls ALL the lunatics to the yard.
This is standard drought behavior.
People start to actually believe their hallucinations.

Art Imitating Life.

So as it goes with a 'drought'
There isn't much to really write about.
Which I guess is Good for them...
Maybe not so much for us.

Final thoughts.

1. I like Jennifer Lawrence.
But she has nothing to do with Rob or Kristen
or their relationship.
Even if she has become the Ninnie Poster girl.
Even if the Rags want to make up bullshit about her and Rob.
I'm guessing she would prefer not being dragged into the drama.
Imagine what it would be like if the lunatic ninnies
actually focused all their attention on someone
they actually liked?
You would think they would at least focus on Rob...
But they don't even do that.
They don't seem to have the time for Rob.
All day. Every day.
It's all about Kristen.

She owns them.
Lock, stock and strait-jacket

2. Some people are SO afraid that Kristen is going
to show up in Australia soon.

I seriously think heads will explode
WHEN she gets there.
Although I'm sure they have plenty of excuses
at the ready.
Most likely the standard lie of
DVD PR.
See...
On one hand
The Fringe are all about Rob being 'single and free'
while he's in Australia
Even if it puts a damper on their whole PR theory ...
But it's good for them to keep it handy
when Rob and Kristen are together again.
And you know... They will be.
I'm not sure what they will do once the DVD comes out.
There will be nothing left in the PR excuse tank...

Empty.
Just like their lives...

This post is brought to you by the letter T and the number 7.

T for

Thomas Sturridge.
I adore him.
Completely.

T for

Terrific?
Tremendous?
I don't know.
Some good word that starts with T.
Someone sent this to me...
(Thank you btw)
Um.
This one kinda is in my top 5 now.
What a fucking swagger.
Jesus.

T for

TOGETHER!
Do I even have to say it?
Do I?

Rob and Kristen
ALWAYS
End
Up
TOGETHER.

Sooner rather than later.

And by the number 7

Seven times a day.
Need I say more?

Until next time

Bye for now

MISS YOU!

LOL Robert, it IS a little wordy at first, but it does get pick up speed and intrigue as you keep reading. But just know, if you find that you don't like it, no worries, we won't get upset with you. Everyone has different likes and dislikes. My husband has found the story line interesting, but that's when I am telling him what's happening so far. He probably wouldn't enjoy reading it himself.

Good morning dear Rose and Roseland.

Beautiful new/old banner. I always associate this pic and photo shoot with the unbreakable bond of commitment, love and friendship that was blossoming between Rob and Kristen.

Pisteuo,
I very much agree with your comment.
" I'm really happy for both Rob and Kristen that they are able to do what they need to do without pictures of proof that they are together."
May they stay out of the glare of the intruding camaras and enjoy life, both work and down time within their own circle of family, friends and coworkers.

PATTYBG,
WISHING YOU A SPECTACULAR 50TH ANNIVERSARY! MAY YOU HAVE MANY, MANY MORE BEAUTIFUL YEARS TOGETHER. ((HUGS))

ali mac,
Made it over to the British Isles Shoppe after my conference and bought some Cadbury Flakes. " The crumbliest, flakiest milk chocolate." : )
Yummmm! A melt in your mouth experience, sort of a mille-feuille / puff pastry equivalent of pure milk chocolate . And yes, extremely messy. I can see why you used to eat it over a plate. They did not have any Tim-Tams. Something about them being sold to another company and now being available in more mass market venues here in the USA. Will look for them at Target. I did get several new teas to try out and a beautiful half-price Denby teapot.
Oh, can hardly wait for tonight. A Downton Abbey evening!

It is a beautiful weekend here. Low 70's and a lovely blue sky, Enjoy today and appreciate what you have.

Hugs for y'all.
Hugs for Smitty, Gruff and Syd.

Olivia, so pleased you have experienced the flake:) it really is yummy. The advertisments for flakes were always great when i was growing up. I have a notion in my head that there was supposed to be a bit of a curse on the flake girls. (That might be my imagination)

I have a denby teapot they make a good pot of tea. Enjoy Downton tonight xx

@Pattybg
Happy Anniversary!! That's something to be proud of. Congratulations!

@Barb
I'm trying the laughing attitude at the story headlines. I’m learning from you all here at Roseland. I love it “Smerez Hilton”!

@Pisteuo I agree with you too. As much as I would like the drought to end, I’m so happy for them to be not seen by the paps. They need their time without drama.

@Tufe
You're right, at the moment JL seems to skate with the media. Rob once said they turn on you and try to tear you down too. I hope that doesn't happen to JL.

I agree with what you said about the Ninja Kristen, knowing her life & the paps following everywhere, the whole scenario makes no sense. For all we know, one second later she stepped away from him realizing he was getting too touchy, but we'll never see a picture like that. Also, it seems like actors, directors and crew are all so friendly, hugging and touching each other a lot. It appears to be part of the culture of the job.

@Ginger Thank you. As I told Barb, I’m learning from you Roselanders that laughing/ignoring the muck is probably the better attitude to keep the happy feeling I get from being a Rob/Kristen fan. Not let it get destroyed by what the haters write or say.

That is cool about the gated community, that'll help maintain more privacy. Boy you all here know the best inside info. One question… whose birthday?

@Dreamer
Living & learning new things, I totally agree with you about that.

Congrates to everyone's team that won.

Unknown said...

Hi Patty,

Congratulations to your purple ravens! We came back and could have won the game on the last possession, but the referees didn't call a flag on the last play because clearly that was a hold on Crabtree. Anyway, we played so bad during the first half leading up to that return punt immediately coming off from halftime that led to a 100 yard touchdown by the ravens. That was so embarrassing, but we did make a great comeback. But in the end, the better team won. So congrats!

This 49ers teams is truly cursed ever since the new owners stole the team away from the old owners. The Niners have never been able to recover from it. And then Harbaugh pulling Alex Smith out in the middle of the season and replacing him with the young Kaepernick (don't get me wrong, the guy is good) when he should waited and let the guy try and finish the season off was so bad of him. I believe in karma and karma bit Harbaugh in the ass tonight. My family thinks the Niners will never win a Superbowl unless we get rid of the new owners. What they did was so bad. They have cursed this team.

And I am just hearing that this Ray Lewis dude was involved in a murder some years back? Wow, I just heard about it. And he was the one I saw crying on TV when Ravens won the AFC.

Congrats again Patty.

Looks like SB was a success. Congratulations to Holy for your $$$ win. HOORAY PATTYBG, YOUR TEAM WAS VICTORIOUS!

ali mac and Downton watchers:
Just love this series. Maggie Smith is brilliant. Her one liners are marvelous. Mrs. Patmore was hilarious with her "Do I look like a frolicker?". So interesting to see how tolerance, acceptance and women's freedom to chose their own path within society, breaking out of the limitations of what was proper and expected is progressing during this 3rd season. Hoping all goes well for Daisy. Still have T. Branson as my favorite. Could go on and on, but will just say that I was very pleased.

Ginger,
Sorry, totally clueless. I don't do twitter. Many, many years ago I used to do AAU ( which is now USA ) swimming. All through school I was a pool brat. That is my reason for the avi. Plus, I really like the "Keep Calm...." signs.

Hi Olivia

Yes Mrs Patmore has a way of delivering random lines that are so funny! I have to agree that it's nice to see what women went through in those days to make things better for us today. It's good to see things like that covered and not just women falling in love etc. It's a good mix. I also agree that Dame Maggie is fabulous :)

PamH said...

I have to say Rob looks REALLY good while getting beat up. Dean looks like he'd fit right in with the cast. I think it's going to be a dirty, hot shoot...AND NOT IN THE GOOD WAY lol

@ Ginger
Did they have separate parties or together ?

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Katy - Yup - you can see people just standing there too - how distracting is that for all the actors involved. The paps and media have already shown how little they view personal boundaries - lets just hope it doesn't turn into a circus or you have crazy chicks camped in the heat having heat strokes.

I got one good laugh - some super fans are highly upset at his shaved head - awe to be so superficial has got to be rough.

Ginger with a Soul said...

Kami said...

Topaz, the incident you're talking about happened in the late 90s. Ray Lewis was young and with some friends at a night club after the Super Bowl, Some where childhood friends, some where just people he 'knew'. When they were all leaving the bar, there were a couple of the guys who were part of his group who had been arguing back and forth with some other patrons and as they were walking about to the hotel, the guys with Ray Lewis and the ones who had been arguing with them, got in a fight and the guys with Ray Lewis shot and killed the other men.

The police went to talk to Ray Lewis and he was not very forthcoming so they began to look at him...they charged him with Manslaughter and he went to trial, he was being tried side by side with the other two men who HAD been involved. Halfway through the trial the prosecutors and his lawyers finally got through to Ray and convinced him that being loyal to his 'friends' was going to send him to jail, he finally decided telling the truth and avoiding jail and seeing his kids grow up and being a part of that was what was important. He testified against them during the trial and as soon as he finished all charges were dropped.

He did not kill anyone, he was at the wrong place at the wrong time with a group of guys some of whom he barely knew. As horrible as this incident was, it changed him forever and helped to mold him into one most respected football players in the league who actually deserves the respect.

I have to run pick up the kids but here is a very enlightening conversation JGL has with a couple paps that bum rush him for pictures - he turns the tables and records them and although most won't be shocked at what they say it makes your stomach churn - these guys honestly are just dicks and there is no other way to say it

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzX36AW9Fhs&feature=youtu.be

Hi Kami, Patty,

Thanks for explaining as I heard it from hubs and he read about it somewhere.

Patty, what's happening with our Niners is bad karma floating around for several years now ever since Steve Young retired. Hopefully, our young QB can turn this bad karma around as last night was only his 10th start in the NFL. I never watch the regular games, but now I think I will watch it just for him. He is an exciting QB.

Kami said...

Topaz, he is a very exciting QB. I really like him. I am a Cowboys fan so cheering for the Niners is a little odd for me lol, but I have to say that I am very impressed and actually quite proud of how far they have come in such a short time. It's only been a couple of years since they fired their head coach midseason...probably the same season we did the same..and even though Mike Singletary, who stepped in to fill that gap didn't do as well as Harbaugh, I think that he kind of helped kick start the team again. They're a premiere team and it was good seeing them back in the Super Bowl.

Holy said...

Hello again.

@Ginger-I saw that video with JGL,the assholes wants to stalk but when the camera was pointed to them they hide their face.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Holy - the one saying he did it because he was walking with a guy and though he was gay so he took the pictures - that guys right there loses at life

Unknown said...

Ginger,

They are disgusting. But that is our freedom of the press for you. The only thing he said worth listening to is "people are fascinated with the world of celebrities...." (starts at 1:38 of the video) He is right that the problem is us. They will show, write, and print whatever that sells and people will believe whatever they want to believe.

I don't know why JGL bothers anway. I mean, the guy insulted him by calling him gay. I like what Katy Perry did when she walked outside the airport with a towel over her head and body. I would probably do that every time if I were in their situation. I would not give them to opportunity to sell my face. My towel would say GO TO HELL YOUR FUCKING COCKSUCKERS.

Unknown said...

Thanks Kami. I hope your cowyboys can bounce back too.

@Ginger- I can't blame Alec B, Shia L and others beating those assholes. They deserve it.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Topaz - I actually found it fascinating how nice JGL was and they were still attacking him - he even told them hey if you came up and said Hi my name is blah can I take your picture then he wouldn't mind but when the one guy said he thought he was an asshole for running and hiding from them all I could think was boy they really do think they are special and deserve the shot. Entitlement is so high in that video it is scary and to say you just wanted to harass him - didn't even want the picture, just wanted to piss him off - just wow

Unknown said...

Ginger,

yeah I know, that's why he shouldn't even bother. I bet even if JGL continued to do what he did and made a documentary film about it, it would make it to theaters, but still nothing would be done about it. It would win awards, and still nothing would be done about it. Like look what happened to princess Diana when she died. They even took pictures of her dying in the wrecked car. She was chased all her life and that resulted in her death, but still paps keep doing the same thing and no one cares about famous people.

I think it depends on the star too. For example, I saw one youtube video of a pap video recording Mike tyson walking down a sidewalk. Mike gave him a very mean intimidating look, and the pap actually left him alone. You know, Mike has tattoos on his face and his body and he's quite big, so that guy left him alone, haha.

Hi DK,

Historical romances? Please share if you care to. But no fan fics for me. Also, it takes a really good story for me to read fictional books. I don't do much reading anymore lol. I have never read any romance novels except one, A Walk to Remember by Nicolas Sparks. I'll read the first or two pages and if it doesn't interest me, or the writing style just sucks, I can't continue reading it. I have very little patience lol. And if I don't find the premise interesting, I don't even bother to look it up lol. I am a lazy reader. But I like romance! So anyone who recommends a good romance novel, please do share!

@Ginger Again, you are the best! I didn’t know anything about the birthday(s) or the party. It sounds amazing. And it’s great about the no pictures of KS if she didn’t want them. I couldn’t find the pool pics anywhere on the net, but I probably don’t know where to look. I closed my twitter account awhile back, maybe that’s why.

That video from JGL is funny and sad. And it also shows the photographers big time AGENDA as in “Are you gay? That always interests people.” Wow.

@Topaz Good to see you again. I totally agree with you about the 49ers. This is really going back, but I was mad when they let Joe Montana and Jerry Rice go before their time. And the change in owners, more than one time, has created some bad karma for sure.

@Tufe So happy for Rob about winning that award, I guess for the 2nd year. Now I want to see Kristen win some awards too.

@Olivia - I love Downtown too!

Rob drought is over! There is a longer write up on Robsten Dreams from what appears to be an Aussie newspaper. I love the part about the producers telling them that they “own the town”, so get out! Funny!

Topaz, I guess I'm nosing in here, with the names of a couple of authors for Historical romance. Keep in mind I haven't read them in years, not for any real reason except that I haven't been in the mood, but two of my favorite authors are Johanna Lindsey and Julie Garwood. If you've never read "For the Roses" by Julie Garwood, I would recommend it. It is a highly entertaining book, funny, sweet and very easy to read. I'm sure DK can give some great recommendations for you.

Sorry, I was wrong it's the same article as on RPL.

Hi artemisluvv,

Don't worry, I have hope niners will be back :)

Ginger, Artemisluvv,

I couldn't bring myself to Robsten dreams, have not seen the Rob pics yet. They are pap pics? I have no desire to see them if pap pics. How is it people are able to take his pic? Isn't he filming in the middle of the dessert? People live in the dessert there? While visiting a cousin one summer up north in Chico, I once experienced living in heat up to 111 degrees Fahrenheit with no AC for 2 weeks. Not one single leaf in the trees moved even at night. It was hell. I used a water bottle spray at night and sprayed water straight up so the droplets would fall and land on my body. I can't imagine living in heat over 111 F with no AC. I can take the cold weather better than the heat.

desert, not dessert....

i can't spell anymore too.

Thank you Kami :) I will keep a tab on that.

Topaz, Ginger probably knows better than I do.

At first, I thought it was a local Aussie newspaper, writing about filming of a movie close to their town. But I am not familiar with their newspapers.

Aremisluvv,

I can't wait to see The Rover. Finally, something besides romance and weird premises. Let's hope he gets a lot of film footage:) I want to see a mad max Rob.

@Kami/Tuf/Pam- did you guys watched today's episode of The Following? Each episode is getting creepier.

artemisluw and Topaz Emerald:

Article is from local newspaper entertainment section. Article stated that this particular scene was near roadsie...guess that's how paps got the pics. Article stated that they are now going further into the Ranges so hopefully paps won't follow. I was very relieved to read that Rob has air conditioned trailer, so think he will be okay. I hope the paps don't take any further pics of filming as I don't want to know about scenes in advance.

I didn't get to watch the Following tonight. I will watch it on Hulu when it becomes available. Looking forward to it.

Thanks Tufe, that answers that question about the paps.

Topaz Me too! I'm really looking forward to Rover, more action than romance possibly.

Tuf, if paps follow them to Flanges ranges, I hope they get fried in the dessert and then get kidnapped by aliens.

Topaz - There's snakes there too. Maybe the snakes will get them! LOL!

@TopazEm
I love Regency period romances which have witty, clever, deeply complex characters, as strong women/men. My current favorite is Julie Anne Long.

Here is her website with excerpts of her novels series:

Like Ali mac, I love Jane Austen and sequels based on her famous novels. (Georgette Heyer, Clare Darcy, Pamela Aidan)

@Kami
Certainly, Lindsey and Garwood are old favs.

@Dk,

I just read the excerpt from The Runaway Duke (julie A. Long). Honestly, I just can't seem to get into reading these types of romance novels :( I have tried in the past lol. I just realized something. Maybe it's because those novels are written from a woman's point of view. The reason I enjoyed A Walk to Remember was probably because it was from a man's point of view and I like reading coming of age novels. I have also tried reading Pride and Prejudice. It's a little more my cup of tea, but I still didn't want to finish reading it. In fact, every novel I have enjoyed reading or at least kept my interest long enough for me to finish reading are written by male authors. I don't know why that is, it's weird. I can't even think of a female author whose book I've read from the top of my head. It is a shame.

Like the premise of Twilight is what drew me in at first: a young girl falls in love with a mysterious vampire. But it took me 10 months to finish reading the first Twilight book. I kept putting it back on the shelf. The first chapter drew me in, but I quickly lost interest after the first few chapters and it was long and boring until it got to the 10th chapter. I just don't like Meyer's way of describing things. I know it's fantasy type novel, but her writing just doesn't feel real enough. But credit to her for even getting it published. I simply can't write shit.

Good night lovely people.

Before I go to bed, I think the reason is because I like to read books that have some kind of real meaning behind it. With romance novels, it's hard to find this, don't you think? Maybe it's just me...

Good night.

@Topaz
Fascinating! You know yourself so well. So many differences that ultimately bring us together. Wonderful to have our own interests and thinking.
I love reading about love, and how people find it or it finds them, and how it makes us not feel alone or separate.
That is the real meaning I have found in my life. All roads lead to or away from love, I believe. The joy is in the road trips taken to that destination.

Good morning,Roseand!

No news is good news and I'm sticking to it.

DK, I loved what you said above.

We had a lovely covering of snow this morning, so we had some sledging fun this morning before school time :)

DK I seen you mentioning our love of Jane Austen, my hubby bought me a box set of her books for part of my Christmas present this year :) I only dropped a very small hint. lol

Morning BIRDIE. What DK said was beautiful, maybe she could write a romance novel of her own!!

GOOD MORNING ROSELAND!!! I'm just dropping in, haven't read any comments so have no idea what's going on. I saw Rob's pics yesterday, glad to know he's alive and well, NOW I wish they would back off.

No telling where "our girl" is, LOL, she's really being ninja ... I love it. THEY WILL GET THEIR TIME TOGETHER but we are likely to never know about it.

LIZ IN LALA LAND ... TWIRLING because I KNOW they're happy and together when it's right for them.

P.S. You know, I just have to mention that as far as THIS fandom is concerned, no military marriages could survive because they aren't together enough!!! And we all know better.

LizzieD said...

FORGOT TO MENTION ... Real Life Work is kicking me in the butt ... I miss everyone here, hope to be back in action soon.

ALSO, regarding the "military marriages" there are many, many of those marriages that last forever even with one of the spouse's gone for long periods of time.Years ago, they only had written letters and rare phone calls. Now, they have the benefit of Skype so see their children and new babies, etc. My first husband traveled all the time and was normally gone two weeks at a time. It was hard, don't get me wrong. You just get used to it.

Good morning everyone

@ holy
As soon as my hubby returns from taking his Mother to the doctor appt. we are watching The Following, I think he better not trust the new female officer after seeing her give a book to killer.

@ DK
Your talk of Historical romance makes me think of my mother who always hand a book in hand, in her spare time, while I was growing up. She bought my first book that sent me on my reading journey Little Women then onto Jane Austen. I like all the authors you mentioned and I'll add Lisa Kleypas, Kat Martin, Heather Graham and Candice Camp just to name a few.
DK - have you ever read Mr. Darcy takes a Wife by Linda Berdoll? My hubby bought it for me on one of our Anniversaries about 4-5 years ago, knowing my love of JA & P&P, not realizing what the book contained I was surprised but found it to be a good read.

Well I need to clean my house so I'll check back in later :)

Rose, Roseland and Lurkers,

We're finally starting to discuss Gone Girl today, and anyone who has read the book and is interested, please, feel free to join in.

We've moved the discussion to a different blog so those of you here won't have the plot ruined for you, and Rose won't get so many annoying emails unrelated to her blog.

In a weird way (even though i badly want to know whats happening) i hope the drought lasts long enough to make a dent in the tabloids' income.
