Rob and Kristen- Just Another Day

All females want to touch Rob's face...

I'm a bit hung over.
Friday nights kill me.
So now I have a pretty good headache going
My stomach feels like I swallowed a bucket of dirt.
Yes. Dirt.
And the phone keeps ringing.
Why?
There isn't anything that important that has to be said.
Stop it.

Anyway.
A sweet still from WFE.
I can't put into words how much I want to see this movie.
I love Reese Witherspoon.
She is so lovely.
Her and Rob onscreen make such a pretty picture.
Robert has never looked better.
And that is saying a lot.

NONsense!

Yesterday I wrote about a dream I had.
I knew it would get a lot of play.
Kinda why I posted about it.
(So easy to push buttons)

It was a DREAM.
I know it may be hard for some 'people' to comprehend
But dreams aren't REAL.
And Nikki Reed doesn't fly around on broomsticks
(that I know of)
And if you throw a bucket of water on her...
She really doesn't melt.
Although she might not be too happy about it.

The big difference here is I don't hate NR.
I don't dedicate page upon page hating on her.
I don't have a forum...
JUST to hate her.
I'm obviously not a fan of hers...
But like some 'people' are always howling about
I have a right to not be.

What is that wet dog smell?

So any news on Robert and Kristen?
Not really.
They have the weekend off!
No matter if we get a peek into their day or not...
You can count on them spending the time
TOGETHER.

You get the impression that Kristen isn't much of a 'party' girl.
She prefers to stay in...
Watch movies.
Cook.
Surround herself with people she loves and trusts.
And you get the impression that Rob is perfectly happy
doing the same things.
Especially eating what Kristen cooks.
And just being with Kristen.
Because if nothing else...
Rob seems to spend a lot of his free time
With Kristen.

Kristen.
Kristen.
Kristen.

Rob and Kristen. As Always.

I know that some 'people' get tired of always having to
deal with Kristen when they just want to talk about Rob.
But.
When Rob is always WITH Kristen...
There isn't much you can do about it.
It would be a lot easier to discuss just Robert...
If he could stay away from Kristen.
But obviously...
He can't.
Nor does it seem like he wants to.
Nope.
He just keeps showing up with her
all over the place.
Robert has a made a point of being with her.
Robert has shown the world
who he wants to be with.
Kristen.

;)

Just because.

Where has Tom been lately?
I miss his face.
A lot.
I hope he does lots of press for his new movie.
Please.
Please.
Please.

I would love to see him on Fallon or Kimmel...
*swoon*

Anyway.

This post is brought to you by the letter *D*

D for Dreams.
It's only a dream.

D for Day.
You can have any day.
Every day.

Bye for now

Guess I have just missed most everyone. Good night sweet Roselanders, and sweet dreams.

DK, and SueBee, and others still around, hi, *waves* and have a lovely evening.

Peeking back in after watching a couple of movies back to back. Stuart Granger in the 1952 Scaramouch and then the super fun Mama Mia, which I am embarrassed to say I had not ever seen before. Loved it! Great cast, fun songs, beautiful Greek Isle. Plus, handsome Brosnan, Firth, and Skarsgaard! Who knew they could sing! : )

Smitty, hugs and wishes for happiness being sent your way. You have a kind soul. Stay wise, true to yourself and protective of what you have and treasure.

30, wow, the Jack White vid was wild! New one for me and quite artistic. Thanks, enjoyed it.

Super RN, sorry this has been such a trying week. Hope tomorrow starts a whole new happy trend.

Take care y'all.
BB tomorrow.

A giftie for you DK.
Rocking my senior high school year with the fantastic music from Tommy. Loved this version by the Assembled Multitude of the overture that came out the following year. Great memories of listening to this awesome music! Remember how excited a best friend was when he played the Tommy LP for me for the first time.

Hey well
I'm a friendly stranger in a black sedan
Won't you hop inside my car.

I got pictures, got candy
I'm a loveable man
And I can take you to the nearest star.

I'm your vehicle baby
I'll take you anywhere you wanna go.

I'm your vehicle woman
But I'm not sure you know
That I love ya
I need ya
I want ya,

Got to have you child,
Great God in heaven you know I love you.

Well if you want to be a movie star
I'll get a ticket to Hollywood.
But if you want to stay just the way you are
You know I think you really should.

I'm your vehicle baby
I'll take you anywhere you wanna go.
I'm your vehicle woman
But I'm not sure you know
That I love ya

I need ya

Okay, a little story....

Seems like kindness cannot be a little thing or a little story, really, can it?

I finally got out for a dinner at my favorite local restaurant, where I haven't even stopped by to say happy holidays.

Got a delicious margarita and found myself thinking how some good tequila would cure my cold for good (call me foolish, it applies).

So, I asked the owner, who is a tequila expert, what he would recommend.

At first, he thought that I wanted a shot of something and said something for $6 or $8 dollars. I said no, about $30, not realizing it was for a shot, people! I was thinking a take home bottle.

When he got down the $150 a bottle number I gasped and corrected his impression.

So, he chose an Arette Reposado (family-owned for 100 years) which I had tasted at his tequila night, and sold it to me for only $30, a great deal for a superior tequila.

Here's the kindness, truly, he packed up three of the biggest limes I have ever seen and gifted them to me for the healing of my cold.

It's the little extras, that kindness shows, where friendship grows and colds must GO.

Besides, my heritage endorses the use of spirits for healing, for remember, there were no medications of note, in the ancient times of which I am sprung, thankfully.

Mud in your eye

Oh me, oh my do I feel high (So high)

Dry martini, jigger of gin
Oh what a spell you've got me in
Oh my, do I feel high

People don't believe me
They think that I'm just braggin'
But I could feel the way I feel
And still be on the wagon

All I need is one of your smiles
Sunshine of your eyes
Oh me, oh my do I feel higher than a kite can fly
Give me lovin', cause I feel so high

People don't believe me

Why would have heard of it, you are a lightweight about drinks, is that what you meant or the song?

Bren said...

The song, sillybilly....

I definitely know about drinking scotch and soda...too funny...

What's happening , chica...have really missed you guys.... these early hours are killing me....

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Since I was a kid, and we had so much meatloaf, I've hardly been able to eat it or meatballs.

But I have discovered these Aidells chicken and turkey meatballs and now I am insane for them. What gives with that?

Word verf. "herbili" I am indeed an herb, and billy, tee hee.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Don't let the sun catch you crying about your early hours, Bren. I can adjust to whenever you are around, if it be my will.

Did I tell you I bought 3 winter coats yesterday and do you want to know all about them?

Bren said...

I want to hear ALL your news, start with the coats...why so many?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
I realized that I don't have enough coats to wear for the right times.

Recently, I needed a dressy coat, which I did not have.

Then I noticed that my down coat with its special qualities, has weathered and grown cold on me.

Plus, there are some Midwestern days that are too warm for heavy coats, if you can believe that, I was surprised myself.

Bren said...

Matt is totally a meatloaf lover, he would eat it everyday if he could...

I love chicken, but hate turkey....

I hate chicken in a salad, or a pizza, that totally grosses me out...

I'll tell you a funny story next post...

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Lucky day for Dreamer! She found coats, all on sale, just right for the right times and snapped them up.

I've got a plaid (leaning toward plaid like our favos) car length coat (remember what that means? 3/4length) gray and purple, so chic.

Add a bright pure white down jacket, which does not slim but takes off ten to twenty years facewise and is warm enough to ski in or Super Bowl party in (tailgater, outside of course, no wimps invited).

Finally, there is a black/gray Forecaster jacket that is reversible, wicks away moisture and resists the wind called Mariah (my version).

I need the Forecaster for I am famously clueless about forecasts and so needed help with that.

You approve of my choices, yes?

Bren said...

You do need a different coat where you live...your weather is so variable...

We had snow like around the 2nd week of Dec, but nothing since...so I wear a thin coat for work, and a thin jacket for casual...so that works for me, cuz I hate wearing bulky stuff...

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
You want more snow? I am at your command as FGM.

Tell the story...

verf "bille" of course you are..

Bren said...

yes, little mama, they all so sound really cute...

Tell me about Gwen and Birdie, how are they doing...

Gwen hasn't taken off on a safari, has she?

Bren said...

I think we are pretty much done with winter here, Feb is always really more Spring like.....oh, so ready for Spring...

You keep getting the billy's how weird.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
While you are typing, I'll share how I was able to get some greasy moisture into those chicken/turkey meatballs, for I assure that is what I require to call them delicious.

Simmer in beer, this time Mothership Wit, covered and then add olive oil and uncover so they get crispy, brown and full of it, inside and out.

Turkey is so dry otherwise and chicken not that exciting without lots of spice.

Oh, angelica1 had KFC in England today, and her husband was jealous to miss it and so was I.

That girl paid him back for the 10 inches joke, however, I hope he paid her back with them.

Ooomph, you know what I mean?

My Old Man

Joni Mitchell:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8gOsqUPhvA

My old man
He’s a singer in the park
He’s a walker in the rain
He’s a dancer in the dark

We don’t need no piece of paper
From the city hall
Keeping us tied and true
My old man
Keeping away my blues

He’s my sunshine in the morning
He’s my fireworks at the end of the day
He’s the warmest chord I ever heard

Play that warm chord, play and stay baby
We don’t need no piece of paper
From the city hall
Keeping us tied and true

My old man
Keeping away my blues

But when he’s gone
Me and them lonesome blues collide
The bed’s too big
The frying pan’s too wide

Then he comes home
And he takes me in his loving arms
And he tells me all his troubles
And he tells me all my charms

We don’t need no piece of paper
From the city hall
Keeping us tied and true
No, my old man
Keeping away my blues

But when he’s gone
Me and them lonesome blues collide
The bed’s too big
The frying pan’s too wide

My old man
He’s a singer in the park
He’s a walker in the rain
He’s a dancer in the dark

We don’t need no piece of paper
From the city hall
Keeping us tied and true
No, my old man
Keeping away my lonesome blues

@Bren
I am reduced to sharing my wonderful hair smelling story...

Anyone have grown children (female) that have mastered the art of lying right to their mother's face? (I raise my hand)

Seems that on my birthday celebration weekend, when I made sure that I smelled extra specially good, to cover up age and the effects of cognac y cerveza, someone close to me was seeking extra feminine powers of enchantment that belonged to me.

Wisely, I bought a delightfully, delicious smelling hairspray which also encouraged volume but definitely provided an enticing smell, onto my person, particularly my head.

Not only was it a success, resulting in kisses on the head and exclamations of deliciousness, but the daughter discovered the power and highjacked it from the cold-sickened one who deserved and paid for it. (Money? Who cares for that?)

There it sits, even now, in her private den of disguise and female invention, even though I moved it back into mine!

That young one, has the secret, and it is take it away while the madre sleeps and don't tell her.

I wish her love and exclamations of deliciousness, for mothers pass onto daughters the joys they have had. No?

Then again, I wish myself some volume and head kissing enchantment factors, and I will get them back, soon. For the final time...

Bren said...

You should share the R/K dream, you said it was really funny, I would love to hear it...I'm sure everyone would enjoy it....everyone knows dreams are crazy....

Yesterday on tv they were showing a woman who eats toilet paper, swear to God, it's true...well last night I guess cuz I had that in my head, I dreamed that my dog kept coming into the room with a dryer sheet in her mouth, and acted like she was going to eat it, so I took it away from her, and she would come with another one, and then again a third time...so I wondered where she was getting them.I walked to the hall and discovered my hall was full of dryer sheets, and that's when I woke up....

C'mon tell it...

DreamerKind said...

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Oh, if I only had a dog, and one that brought dryer sheets to me, what consideration. However, the hallway full of them is less darling of a dog, to be doing.

Hmmm, should I take the chance and spill the dream beans and all?

Bren said...

yes, do it......

Are you gonna watch the bears and Jets win tomorrow?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
You know I will, spill that is.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
What? What happened to the Packers?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
All righty, then, you're off again.

I'll start my silly story.

Bren said...

I'm hoping the Bears beat the Packers---and the Jets beat the Steelers....sorry mama, didn't mean to freak you out.....there are two games tomorrow....

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Like Rose, I have vivid and interesting dreams. Had one about a month ago that involved R/K and my bff.

The doorbell rang and there was Rob. That is Rob and several of his bodyguards. He asked me if he could hide out inside for a while since fans were closing in on him. (Sure, he did that once with some other person, a famous star, but I didn't say this was an original dream, did I?) I refused. (Not!)

He came in and told me he was thankful for my courtesy and could he impose a little and sleep a while, for he was so tired?

Naturally, you know my response. To watch Rob sleep in a non-creepy way, would be heaven on earth, if one would dare to do that. (Not me, too polite)

Before he drifted off, he said that Kristen would be picking him up in the morning. I offered to cook breakfast for them and was accepted but told that there was a timeframe for leaving that had to be met.
(What about the bodyguards, who cares about them, silly, it's a dream?)

No problem for the master chef and perfectly organized-me, I thought.

In the morning, my bff arrived unexpectedly, and although she said she would help me make breakfast, she made small talk forever, with my R & K (Kristen had come) and left me adrift in my own kitchen.

My kitchen had turned against me that morning, for all of the pans I pulled out of the cabinets were greasy and had to be washed.

Also, the eggs I had broken into a bowl, fell onto the floor which looked absolutely filthy with dust. Had to start over again, but no more eggs were to be had.

Then all of my serving dishes were in the dishwasher, unwashed, so I had to handwash them. Everything that could go wrong, did.

R & K kindly mentioned that they were indeed very hungry but unable to wait any longer and must go.

I apologized profusely about not knowing how it all had fallen apart like it did.

They were so nice to understand and offered me autographed photos but I, in my chagrin and stupidity, said no, for I didn't deserve them. No breakfast for them, no pics for me.

They shook their heads, rolled their eyes at each other (so cute) and left.

Luckily, that when I woke up and still was partly in the dream, I didn't go with my plan to smack my bff silly and kill myself by overdosing on chocolate wafers, from an unopened, fresh box, a mouse had nibbled on, just a little. Or did I dream that, also?

Funny, not really, but an opportunity lost is not worth the rest of your life wondering, what if, is it?

Give me another chance R & K, and I'll have breakfast catered in for sure, all essentials included.

No bff better happen to stop by, when I do...the harpy-still haven't forgiven the perceived slight, to this day and present time.

Bren said...

That was totally Hilarious!

OMG, why did you not want to tell it?

Thanks, for sharing....everyone will love it.....

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Don't you think that the person I was in my dream was just a little too stoopid to be believed?

Bren said...

Are you pooped from all that typing..LOL

Did you finish telling me about your meatballs...did you have them for dinner?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Then again, Rob did go and make surprise visits to local Naperville, IL families before the Oprah show and I could have saved him from the masses, if he neeed me, couldn't I have?

Bren said...

Stupid, not at all....that's what makes dreams so crazy....believe me, it was so funny....did you laugh when you woke up, or were you frustrated?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
I ate about 6 of the meatballs and there are more in the fridge for manana. So, no more to say about those, there, them meatballs.

Thanks for clearing up the football fears, for I see you live in the future and do not know that the Packers and Bears will fight to the bitter end, in our slippery, sloppy, naturally sodded grass stadium.

We like rough, here in the Midwest.

Bren said...

It's still really cold out there huh?

Go to a sports bar to watch the game , that would be fun....or do you go to your local?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
I did not laugh, I almost cried!

I was never a kitchen wizard nor a great cook and if Rob had come to my door, I would have offered him a Heineken and the sofa for a nap, dumbhead that I am. Kristen and I would have cooked in the morning or that may be a dream idea, too.

However, beer with anyone, especially Rob, would be better than any breakfast anywhere in the universe, and you know it.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
The thing about sports bars is that too many different sports are playing at the same time.

I want total immersion in what interests me, I'm like that, have you guessed?

Bren said...

Are you hanging with B and J tomorrow?

Our gang is meeting at noon....it's gonna be a long day....but great fun...

Yes, I'll go off to Jokers and I will wear my personal photo of Walter Payton and myself, from 1987on my head as a hat. Beats a jersey, don't you think?

Bren said...

Darn right lady---tell me the funny story behind that photo....my grandfather loved Walter....(see, I already know it will be a funny story)

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Or perhaps I'll wear that photo as a badge or name tag and have people guess who the people in it really are. That might be more fun.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
You wrong me, it is not a funny story, except for the fact that I did try to sell that very photo on ebay when I was down and out. No takers.

Walter opened a local nightclub in the town where I worked for the police and lived for myself.

He had to come in and get id'ed for his liquor license and as the chief office honcho, I had the great honor of escorting him around.

An officer took his fingerprints but I had my picture taken with him.

He was all Sweetness, as he was nicknamed, and handsome to boot.

Of course, I had to go to his nightclub, and dance etc. several times afterward but did not see him again. His illness and death were a shock to us all.

A great athlete and fine person is always remembered by his true fans.

Bren said...

How did you get the pic? b4 a game?, did you tackle him?

@Bren
For a short while, when I first became a Rob fan (along with Kristen, too), I couldn't understand how some of Rob's fans reacted so strongly, when they saw him in person. Then, I recalled an incident which helped.

My Irish friend Kathleen was always telling me about her beautiful son Patrick, and how when he was in school, girls would leave him notes, follow him around and such, since he was that gorgeous.

I took her many stories about him with a grain of salt for I hadn't met him and by then he was grown up and about 25.

One day, when her husband was in the hospital and I was visiting, while waiting for the elevator, the door opened and out walked the most beautiful man I have ever seen in my life.

K ran up to him, calling him Patrick and introduced us. Believe it or not, I could not speak, my mind was addled, and my breathing was very shallow.

It came to me, that I might pass out soon, if I didn't get a grip on myself, so I made myself answer the young man's greetings.

There was a light in his bright blue eyes, as he looked down for a moment, probably to hide a grin.

He had to have known my reaction and seen it many times before, in other women and maybe even in all of the people he met.

I left soon after and did not meet him again, but now relate that incident to what Rob must go through in his everyday life, also.

Guess I have a true understanding of those fans, when surprised with such perfection in person, lose themselves for a while.

A problem only develops if you don't find that part of yourself that you lost, and think that person still has it or wants to keep it, until you return.

That is crazy thinking but I can almost get it.

Sweet Rose, you said: "Robert has shown the world who he wants to be with Kristen". Yes true! Who's speking is an absolutely Robsten fan above everybody, from 2 years, and now after all this time, me, but also many many Robsten fan would a proof of Kristen's love FOR ROB. I want to see Birdie, but she leaves before I get the chance!

Oh, my, poor, poor, poor me.

Birdie said...

I was just reading your tequila story. Are you imbibing tonight?

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Hours ago, and only for medicinal purposes, Nurse Betty.

Birdie said...

This cold has hung on for quite awhile. As I see out and about in Roseland, I assume you are getting back into your groove.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
The so called "cold" which may have been "retracing" due to being in a healing phase health-wise lasted for five days-remarkably short, as these things go, IMHO.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Knuckleheaded me, for I thought you meant me personally, not the cold outside, happening now during winter?

No Father Winter is not retracing health-wise, or is he? Nature wins in the end, doesn't it?

Birdie said...

I had an unusual experience last night. The parents of seniors(high school) throw a party on graduation night. We do different things to earn money. I volunteered to help serve at our local Sportsmans Club annual wildlife feed.
The menu: wild turkey, bear, antelope, assorted venisons, rabbit, boar, beaver,raccoon, squirrel, and rocky mountain oysters. Oh and alligator. I was somewhat nauseated the whole night and opted to go in back and do dishes. There were 200 or more men there. Alas, all beer bellied hunters with assorted hunting caps and T shirts.

Birdie said...

My concern was for your health, DK not outside.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie

Oh, it would be very hard I think to find or feel, love and/or lust among so many wild things-the men included.

Hiding in a kitchen doing dishes was the right choice.

Aww, thanks for your concern about my health. You know I won't get out of this world alive!

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
And, I don't miss living in Minnesota so much when I hear those kind of wild beast feast stories. It makes me glad that the wildest thing around me these days is my long, shaggy hair.

Birdie said...

I was catching up on some of your stories. I love the hairspray story. Having 2 teenage girls I understand. They are such funny creatures with a logic all their own. They often borrow things, but are horrified if I even enter their rooms.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
There was a very exclusive restaurant in Chicago, back in the day, and it was Cafe Bohemia.

I thought it was known for serving Bohemian food like schnitzel and pork tenderloin but I was wrong.

When I heard that they served the rarest of wild animals like lions, and so on, it freaked me out. They were in business for many years. Some things are changed for the better now, than back then.

Birdie said...

Well it was a bit disappointing since I don't go out much. How can I be in a room with over 200 men and not find one of them attractive? Maybe I missed the good ones while back in the kitchen. This is one group where if the men are still single there is a good reason.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
My daughter C denies using my things outright and accuses me of accusing her, falsely. Imagine that.

When I find my stuff in hers, and show her it, she denies what is in front of her eyes, those lying eye...lol

Deny, deny, deny, a truly clever skill that my son has taught her over the years.

Birdie said...

I did try one bite of alligator because old Bill(my dish dryer) insisted. Luckily it was batter fried and did not taste too bad. I chickened out on the rest of the food.

DreamerKind said...

But you are going to be getting out more, as soon as the weather turns sweet, right?

I'm going to help you find that one in a million, if he doesn't find you first (which works best).

Birdie said...

The kids lying... This is the one thing that drives me nuts and they know it. They deny until "you" are blue in the face and tell me I am losing it and crazy. I have questioned my sanity more than a few times. They are that good. Man I hope I live long enough to see them have teenagers!

DreamerKind said...

You are so right on about that lying they do. As if we don't know and yes, we question ourselves after a while. Perfect statement of truth, Birdie.

DreamerKind said...

Alligator deep fried could be done. Anything breaded might be tried unless someone tells you what it really is, like the Rocky Mt. oysters and brains. No way.

Birdie said...

I am a true believer in fate. If it happens it happens. Really, I am kind of lazy when it comes to relationships or not that lonely. I sometimes think it's because I spend most of my waking hours meeting other people's needs so I'm content being in my own company.

DreamerKind said...

You have expressed that before, about fate and I agree.

There is the possibility that someone would meet your needs, Birdie, and share the burdens of life, meeting you in the middle.

Let's conjure that one up for you, by thinking it is possible.

Birdie said...

Oh Dk, ever the optimist!

DK, is ever the FGM! I believe in creating miracles, and that there is no order of difficulty in doing so.

What you see is what you get. Seeing differently, makes a different miracle appear.

Birdie said...

So today is a big football day and you are heading to Jokers? (I am still skimming comments).
I can't believe they are playing outside in Chicago? Is that right and how cold is it there? Because it is "fucking" cold here!Excuse my French.

DreamerKind said...

It's 5 below zero right now.

DreamerKind said...

Chicago expects high of 18 with light snow showers. Both the Packers and Bears are motherf's you know and cold will not defeat them, but they play poorly in hot climates.

Birdie said...

Tough midwesteners! Those fans must be crazy sitting in those stands. Much better idea to sit in a warm bar.

DreamerKind said...

Yeah, I ain't so tough anymore. Used to go the Viking games and tailgate and then watch the game when there was no roof, Birdie.

Alcohol did provide needed fire in the belly for survival.

Birdie said...

Alcohol is part of the midwest survival kit. You can freeze to death with a smile on your face.

DreamerKind said...

So true and it can make you get hypothermia, as I did once. It was scary and happened in less than a minute. Warming up took a long time. That happened in Hopkins MN not Ely as you'd think.

Birdie said...

You mean you could not tell that you were that cold.
I remember more than a few nights out and about in the winter as young idiots. I don't tell my kids those stories.

DreamerKind said...

I was walking from the car to the American Legion, a distance of maybe 100 feet. The wind was blowing hard and I had no headgear on, so my body heat took a dive and I could hardly talk, walk or keep the contents of my stomach down. Was that it?

katy said...

Hello, Roseland!! Wish you all a happy Sunday!!

Freddie, I'm glad you stayed with only fond memories of your stay in Portugal...well apart from the Taxi driver :)

Smitty...Please be careful!! Wish you and Gruff all the hapiness.

HI, DK and Bridie!! Hope all is well :)

Hugs to all

Kátia

Birdie said...

Could be...although that mimics the consumption of large amounts of alcohol also.

DreamerKind said...

Katia (katy)

Hugs to you, also, along with happy Sunday wishes.

Birdie said...

Good morning Katy!

DreamerKind said...

Don't think I'd had any yet, sillybilly! The night was just beginning at our local hangout the Legion.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
I was wrong. It was another bar, out in Eden Prairie, no cover around and maybe 20 below, or super cold.

Whatever, it was, I survived to tell you the tale of misery, woe and the glory days of yore, that are no more, cause they are less.

Birdie said...

Well in that case, it may have been hyopthermia. I'll bet they pulled the alcohol out of the survival kit to warm you up!

DreamerKind said...

The idiot friends had gone ahead of me and I was actually left alone in the parking lot, and had to make myself run before I couldn't. When I got inside, they at first laughed at my speech but then gave me that shot of Everclear, I'm sure that's what it was or bathtub gin, lol.

Anonymous said...

Hi Rose and Roseland-

Just to wrap up this little escapade-it really was THAT Lauren and I believe she is being sincere. She again said how sorry she was for her part in kind of ruining the vibe or whatever here.

Best thing now is to just leave it alone. I appreciate all the warnings and all but really I'm fine. This affected all of you more than me because I never saw the posts--they were usually deleted. Take care and happy Sunday.

One other thing Go Packers (for Rose) and please please please Steelers BEAT THE JETS!!!!!

Birdie said...

Everclear! Lord haven't they banned that. I remember drinking that. The closest thing to rubbing alcohol.

DreamerKind said...

As you said, we don't tell the kids these stories and now I find that I don't want to hear theirs, makes me worry too much. You know, like the jumping off of bldgs. in Vegas kind of things.

DreamerKind said...

@Smitty
Thanks for the good news and happy day to you, too!

Birdie said...

Smitty,
I am glad that someone stepped up to the plate and did the right thing. Maybe others will follow suit.
Have fun with the Jets game!

Birdie said...

DK,
I am getting to the point where I don't want to hear what my kids have done. I think I am starting to trust that I have taught them right from wrong and even though they will do stupid things, they have good heads and hearts.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
It is good to know that they have stored what you've given them and you trust in them. I do, too.

My son is a risktaker like me, and the daughter is a worrier, unlike me. There are strengths in each, and it is their paths to choose. I keep reminding myself that no one is alone.

LJ said...

Morning all (or afternoon as it is for me!)

Good morning Kami :).....Thank you!!! :)

Annie...I am rooting for the Jets too and the Packers for Rose.

Kami said...

I just have one tiny thing to say about Lauren then I am moving on.

First Lauren I'm glad you are seemingly being for real, doing what you did took courage.

I just want to point out in a brief...yes brief...comment...it wasn't as simple as ruining the "Vibe" of the blog. Cruel, vicious and mean comments were made not only about the ones the troll is upset with. They have verbally abused us, they have engaged in making fun of us, our families etc. They launched an unending and cruel assault on people they never met, and got a sick pleasure out of upseting us. I overreacted...yes....but I was coming from a place of emotional stress and upheaval..not childish vindictiveness. The lack of human compassion and good will was beyond comprehension, it was selfish and shameful.

Now having said that, you seem like you're being truthful and real, you have asked for a chance to make ammends and it has taken courage. So from this moment on with me...you have a clean slate, anything you've said or done to me, is forgiven and forgotten.

Best of luck

Annie said...

@Hope:)
:) Thank you!!! It should be a great game for both the Packers/Bears and Jets/Steelers

Of course a win to the Packers for Rose. :)

I believe it will be below freezing for both games. Ouch!

@Kami......(((((Hugs)))))

Mary said...

Olivia,

The answer to your earlier question is, Yes.

To all the football fans, enjoy the day and I hope your team wins. I'm just going to enjoy that the sun is shining for a change today.

SueBee said...

Hello my friends!

Hope everyone is under a blanket or next to someone warm (or hot.) (waggling eyebrows)

I tend to agree with Kami. Those troll posts were malicious.

I had the strangest dream last night that I was chatting with wino ninjas. Go figure!

I'm unaffiliated football wise so good luck to everyone's teams.

I don't like Nikki whatsoever, and her fans too. I am pretty sure they are worse than Kristen or Robert fans. Nikki fans hate on Ashley, Kristen and Robert. It's terrible.

Twitter users are:
weLOVEnikkireed
NikkiReedMafia and CrazyForNikki

They call Ashley Trashley and directly tweet Ashley with hate. If I was Ashley, I'd so report them and say something back. Or if I was Peter I wouldn't be lurking on those particular twitters. Unless there are only those Nikki fans to talk to. And they hate on Kristen, saying Kristen's on crack. Erm...Well? Nikki's the one who has a history of taking drugs and having underage sex. So I don't quite get it.

Rose by the way, your bitch slap to a certain man or woman, on friday (?), in the dream post, was brilliant.

Take away all the lonely moments
Give me full communication with you

Don't hide, shine a little light
Give up on your pride

He made me play that Proclaimers song, "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) and it has not left my head yet.

It's still playing over and over, so that I have to sing it out loud, several times a day for some kind of a release of pressure.

I knew that would happen for it happened the last time I played it for him.

Thanks, Syd for another brain freeze. Love ya!

So true, they usually screw it up on the last few minutes, wouldn't want to miss with the record, would they? All in all, they were surprisingly scoreworthy.

Love the Packers, too, for I have to, they are winners, most often, and Midwesterners, like me.
