Rob and Kristen- Confessions.

I could watch a movie of Rob just walking...

Just when you thought you were going to die in the desert...
all shriveled up...
a mummified husk crawling towards that mirage
You see her.
That stunning gorgeous girl...
That hauntingly beautiful creature
You rub your eyes
making sure she is really there
Making sure you aren't hallucinating.
But it's her.
It's Kristen.

Dear God.

Kristen is in Marcus Fosters video for "I was broken"
Looking so ethereally exquisite.

Yes.
That Marcus.
The same guy who is good good friends with Robert.
That one.
And oh dear
Oh my.
What a reaction was had.

I'm all about the reactions.

And the people who claim to not care...
they always put on the best show.

It's kinda amusing if you step back and look at it.
First with the whole Michael Welch thing

You know... Michael had the audacity to say that
Kristen looked AMAZING in W magazine

Amazing is right.

How dare anyone say anything nice about Kristen!
It's the usual insults...
He's a famewhore.
He's on Kristen's payroll.
He's being paid by Summit.
No one cares what MW has to say.
Who IS MW??
(yeah, right... like they didn't know)
He's a Z list actor!
What does MW know about beauty?
Even 'not caring' so much as to go into his twitter account
and check out the @'s he received.
Excuse me while I

So...
Imagine the epic foaming when Kristen turned up in
Marcus's video?
Not just a quick flash...
Oh no
She fucking owned that video.
Consumed it.
And the fact that Marcus is close to Rob?
A member of the "Brit Pack"
made it all the sweeter.

Can you see a pattern?
Guess what was said about Marcus?

He's a famewhore.
He's on Summit's payroll.
Kristen's people paid him to let her be in the video.
Marcus is a sell out!!
How dare he put HER in his video.

And on it goes.
Anytime anyone has anything positive to say about Kristen
and/or Rob and Kristen as a couple
It is immediately put in a negative light.

I was broken for a long time... But it's over now.

And therein lies the biggest difference in sides of this fandom.
From where I sat?
The video comes out and people are thrilled to see
Kristen in Marcus's video...
Happy.
Positive.
Smiles.

The other side?
Angry.
Bitter.
Negative.

How did the video make you feel?
Did it make you smile to see Kristen ?
Or did you get all pissy and upset?

Fascinating, isn't it?

Watching out for his girl...

So we got a little reprieve from the drought...
We got to see the luminous lovely Kristen.
And Robert?
Well...
He's still being seen all over the damn place.
Los Angeles one day...
NYC the next.
London in between.
He sure is a busy guy.
But he hasn't been SEEN.
You know?

Here a tweet
There a tweet
Everywhere a tweet tweet.

I love how he really hasn't been seen in over a week.
No one knows.
Except Kristen.
Heh.
I like that a lot.

And I'm sure people are bracing for the inevitable reunion.
Well...
The one we will KNOW about.
Maybe.
This time.

 Heh.

I'm sure the letters P and R are at the ready.
Because staying under the radar for a month...
and staying out of the public eye
makes for great publicity.
Just puppets on a string...

Final thoughts?

1. There are some "confessions" on Tumblr.
Both Robsten and Nonsten.
Fucking scary stuff.
I haven't been to the actual site...
but I see them RT'd throughout my timeline
on Twitter.
Fucking scary doesn't even cut it.
I mean...
It probably started out as a way for people
to anonymously talk about Rob and Kristen...
but as always is the case in this fandom
It gets fucked up.
Now you get some sick shit.
Both sides.
Fucked up.
Some just use it as a place to bash
Kristen and Robert
and each other.

2. The Ninnie site closed its doors.
And no one would have really noticed
if people didn't get all defensive about
WHY they were closing.
"WE HAVE A LIFE!!!"
"YOU DIDN'T WIN!!"
blah blah blah.
We all know...
You don't care.
You are just in it for fun because you
don't spend hours every day here like everyone else
You have great wonderful full lives
with the man of your dreams...

Right.
Maybe you need to repeat that a few more thousand times
just in case...

Remember Jerry... It's not a lie if you believe it.

Green Sheep. My God.

3. I am completely smitten with Tom Sturridge.
I'm not sure when it happened...
It just did.
You may have noticed it.
So I find an excuse to write about him
every time I make a post.
And to look at him.
And I would put up audio if i could.
I watched Pirate Radio again last night.
His voice is like sex.

I have a crush on you...

This post is brought to you by confessions.
I confess that I just don't get this fandom sometimes.
I confess that I care.
I confess that I love seeing Robert and Kristen together.
I confess that I believe they are in love.
I confess that I still adore Robert Pattinson.
I confess that I adore Kristen Stewart.
I confess that I love Tom Sturridge.
I confess that I follow people on twitter
who I don't really even like...
but that I find interesting in some ways.
I confess loving that no one knows where Rob is right now.
I confess that Kristen is one of the most stunning and gorgeous
women on this planet.
I confess that I hope Tom and Sienna aren't true love.
(They just seem like an odd pair and I'm reluctant to trust her)
(and while I'm confessing... I do hope he's happy)
I confess that I truly don't hate anyone online...
but that there are definitely some scary psychos in this fandom.
I confess that I like pushing buttons every now and then.
I confess that I do hate when people make this bullshit personal
and try to hurt people in their 'real' life.
I confess that I actually like some people who don't agree
with me on the whole Rob/Kristen thing
and it's not the end of the world.
I confess that sometimes it bothers me when I'm misunderstood.
I confess that I have no doubts that Rob and Kristen
are in a committed relationship.
I confess that I believe Rob has been to London
at least ONCE since Kristen has been there.
I confess that I could just go on and on and keep confessing
and now I see it can be good for the soul...

Bye for now

@Mel- i'd rather a car hehe

@Annie
Depends. If I have someone to take care of and i need money, high pay.
If it's only me, I'd do what I like. 1000 times!

Melinda said...

Claire- I believe there are spirits but not really sure I believe in ghosts that like haunt and stuff. Does that make any sense.

Annie- Low paying job that I love...

Fiorels said...

@Claire- that's a good question.
I never experienced anything paranormal so am tempte to say no..
but my grandma used to tell me some very creepy stories about possible ghosts...
I shiver at the thought..

angelica1 said...

Annie - Low paying job I love

Claire - Yes,I do

Fiorels said...

Yeah, I back Mel on that..
Yet sometimes i cant help thinking "If you believe in something, what tell you that that other thing doesnt exist?"

Rhonda said...

Claire- I don't really believe in ghost. My sister, however, swears her house is haunted :)

Claire said...

@Melinda

Perfect sense

I'm just watching this show about ghosts and some of the stuff they are showing is putting the shits up me.

Fiorels said...

angelica- resolute answer. wow.
there's a why? if i may ask...

Dottie said...

Claire, Ditto what Melinda wrote.

I've heard that eyebrow threading is better than waxing, but I've only waxed so I don't know.

Fiorels said...

I'm upstaris in my room by myself...
I don't think i'd be able to go and pee if I'd watch some of that stuff, Claire ;/

Melinda said...

Fio- Agreed! I like air conditioning and the thought of riding behind horses and their smells...no thanks

angelica1 said...

Fio, I wouldn't want to spook you if you're by yourself!

Fiorels said...

Mel- talking with one who basically has had air conditioning on for like 12 hours... so... haha

it's so darn hot here..

Claire said...

They are showing footage recorded from supposed poltergeist activity.

This 14yr old girl just started speaking in an old man's voice, like really deep and croaky.

There was also home video footage of red gunk coming from the walls of some woman's house. A guy went into her loft and some wire started choking him, he came down and there were lacerations on his throat and neck o_0

Dottie said...

Claire, I can't watch anything scary. It stays w/me long after I've seen it. It's just easier for everyone if I don't even watch!

Annie, Low paying job I love (I think!)

Claire said...

Sorry Fio!!!!

Fiorels said...

angelica- don't worry, I like the talk...
it's the view that cares me most haha
i was 12 when "the ring" came out and i couldnt dare switching the TV on... hahaha

Claire said...

@dottie

I used to be like that. If i'd watched something scary I'd pull the covers over my head but leave a little gap so that I could breath PMSL

Melinda said...

Claire-

When I was visiting London we did the "Jack the Ripper" tour. So much fun!!!

Anywhoo...they took us to haunted pubs and such. I don't think I've ever been so scared in my life!

Rhonda said...

Claire- Oh, no way I could watch that..

Fiorels said...

haha don't worry Claire..
I didn't understand most of the words anyway haha
Anyway, if I survived the view of "Grave Encounters" the rest is just nothing compared lol

Fiorels said...

@Mel- was it The London Dungeon?

Claire said...

@Melinda

I'd love to do that tour

@Rhonda

I love stuff like this, even if I get the shivers

Annie said...

@Claire.....I honestly can't answer with a yes or a no. There are some stories you hear that make you believe that believing in chosts isn't so far-fetched.

I can't watch scary movies either....My friends laugh at me. :)

If all ghosts are like Casper (the friendly ghost).... then maybe yes! :)

Rhonda said...

Claire- Lol, I would say I like it, but then I don't sleep afterwards.

Melinda- This is nothing like London, but they do a ghost tour here every year around Halloween. I've actually done it, but it's not really that scary :)

Claire said...

@Annie

LOL

I'm going to get off now ladies.

My bed is calling

Goodnight

Melinda said...

Fio- Nope no way I ever go in there!!! The tour I did went to actual pubs and all the places where "Jack" killed his victims.

Also they took us to a manor house that one of England's kings built for his son (sorry can't remember which one at the moment) that is supposedly haunted.

Supposedly women of child bearing age are not allowed inside the house between the hours of sunset and sunrise because at one point women were being raped by a ghost!

Dottie said...

My scary movie story: When I was 12 this 19 yr old guy took me to see Halloween. (It was R so I couldnt get in by myself) To this day I freak out a little when I hear the music. I had to confess to my mom that I went to the movie because I was so scared at night and wanted to sleep w/her! LOL

Rhonda said...

Goodnight Claire :)

I'm out too, ladies. It was fun chatting with everyone.

TTYL

Melinda said...

Claire- Good night and happy dreams!

Rhonda- I like ghost tours in like Savannah and places like that. It's fun and not too scary so I can deal.

The London thing was freaky. I was scared on that one during the pub haunts part!

Claire said...

If I don't check in tomorrow then you know some malevolent entity has probably done indescribable things to me LOL

Goodnight

Annie said...

Goodnight Claire. :)

Fiorels said...

Mel- The London Dungeon is not scaring at all! It's very well done with the actors, the costumes and the scenery but not a really Terror Tour.
I was asking cause at some point we also had a bit talking adou jack the Ripper.. but your sounds way scarier and more interesting...
i like this stuff...
Well I like hearing about it but i "confess" that when I'm into it... i grab the hand of the first person next to me lol

Rhonda- Have a great night. Happy dreams to you too!

I'm calling it a night. Headed off to read a bit.

Fiorels said...

Fiorels said...

@angelica- I agree! haha it is fun :)
but the accent is sooo english that I couldn't understand anything...
plus having my sisters always asking me what they were saying didn't help that much -___- lol

talk to you tomorrow ladies <3

Annie said...

'Night PL. 'Night Rhonda.

@Melinda: Good grief on that story from the manor house!

Annie said...

'Night to Melinda and Fiorels.
I'm off too..... It was fun. :)

Melinda said...

Fio and Angelica- really it's not scary?? It looks like it would be.

I guess if I ever get back to London I may check it out. I've always thought it was like a walk through where they jump at you and stuff.

Okay now I'm off. $5 says I'll have a nightmare tonight! LOL!

For KJ @MusingsOnOtherQueens:

Wonderful Life

Hurts:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kuwdw7KmGwA

On a bridge across the Severn
On a Saturday night
Susie meets the man of her dreams

He says that he got in trouble
And if she doesn't mind
He doesn't want the company

But there's something in the air
They share a look in silence
And everything is understood

Susie grabs her man
And puts a grip on his hand
As the rain puts a tear
In his eye

She says
Don't let go
Never give up
It's such a wonderful life

Driving through the city
To the Temple Station
Cries into the leather seat

And Susie knows her baby
Was a family man
But the world has got him
Down on his knees

So she throws him at the wall
And kisses burn like fire
And suddenly he starts to believe

He takes her in his arms
And he doesn't know why
But he thinks that he begins
To see

She says
Don't let go
Never give up
It's such a wonderful life

Wonderful life
Wonderful, wonderful
Wonderful life

Don't let go
Don't let go

Thank you/videohurts

Lovely surprise this Marcus's video... I was thrilled, I ran, I jumped!
Almost all Brit Pack involved... wow!
Tom...great and good friend ... always present... much talented.... amazing soul!

I love Robert Pattinson more and more... he is humble, sweet and true...always put your muse and loved Kristen in a place prominent ... as the center of your life, family and friends... like a queen... and this is adorable!

I love Kristen because she is amazing and perfect for him...she knows him for real... she makes him happy and loved...

They are perfect and complete together ... this is special and unique in this world so cynical...

This is beautiful... this is sweet for who loves Robert and Kristen...

Hello ladies

I just thought I'd drop this quote in from David Cronenberg about Rob

''Robert Pattinson, one of the most intense actors of this generation, HE'LL BLOW YOUR MIND.''

:'''')

I've been a fan of Cronenberg since I saw eXistenZ

He's not the type of person to throw comments like that about for no reason.

I can't wait for Cosmopolis!!!

Good morning dear Rose and Roseland,

Loved the blog post....R&K-Confessions.

I will add to the list:

I love my RL family and have a very busy RL.
.....Just wanted to put that on the record. : )

I love this blog site.
I love intoxicated Rose and all the intoxicated, gracious and supportive Roselanders who gather here.

I confess that I am a true admirer of Rob, Kristen and Tom.

Having spent my whole life working with young adults, I confess that I really enjoy cheering them on to set challenging goals and strive for the very best that they are capable of.

I confess that it is therefore, from a mother's and also an educator's point of view and background that ......

I honestly wish Rob, Kristen and Tom the very best in life because I have been so very impressed by their hard work, dedication and vision to always do their very best in their careers by always seeking quality ways to express their creative thoughts and emotions. In addition, they are commited to staying true to themselves, their families and their friends.
What lovely young adults!

I also confess that I believe that Rob and Kristen are a most beautiful, well matched pair who appear to have very wise, loving, old souls guiding them side by side on the inside.

A little extra inspired by Marcus and Tom:

The symbol of a grasshopper has many positive meanings, however this explanation of the grasshopper as a "totem" was especially interesting:

"A totem is a symbolic emblem of an individual or a clan that has an affiliation. An animal totem is a specific animal that is identified with spiritually.

A grasshopper totem can represent qualities of stability, solidarity, patience and security. People associated with the grasshopper totem like to aim high. This totem appeals to people in the arts, such as artists, musicians and dancers."

Have a wonderful Labor Day Weekend if you celebrate it. Stay safe!
Hugs for y'all.
Hugs for Smitty, Gruff and Syd.
Working a half day today and Sunday. Actually have all of Monday off! Hooray!

Claire,

What strong and powerful words about Rob by DC.

So exciting to see Rob maturing as an actor and making such wise decisions about his projects.

Can't wait to see Cosmopolis, Bel Ami, and of course BD and also have to mention all of Kristen's upcoming projects too!

Hi Rose,

Excellent post!

I confess that I am tired of the bitter and angry side of the fandom, who thinks everything means something bad and ugly.

'I Was Broken'...LOVE LOVE the song, Marcus voice, the vid, Kristen BEAUTIFUL face.

I miss Rob beautiful face a lot, but I am glad is being able to stay under the radar and I hope wherever he may be, that he's happy and enjoing is time off.

Claire, Awww it's soooo great to hear such words from Cronenberg. Proud Fan! :)

Hi all, I see I missed a party.

I managed to spin work travel into a short visit with my folks for the long weekend, so my mom and I were watching “Waiting For Forever”. Tom did a wonderful job playing such a sensitive character.

Late answers to “Would you Rather”: it would have to be the rats over the snakes. I’m with you Angelica, I can’t even look at pictures of snakes or see them on TV without freaking out.

Hair over the earwax – but either way, it’s just gross

Teleport over invisibility – it would save so much time on work travel

Go without washing hair over not brushing teeth – I’d get some of that dry wash hair stuff to help out. I’d have to brush my teeth.

Time travel over flying, because of the incredible things in history you could see, although I think flying would give you the most wonderful feeling of freedom. So this is tough one.

___

Super – thanks for thinking of me. It means more than you know. I miss you and the other Roselanders too. I always seem to be on when no one is here now.

Claire – have a good weekend in any case. Sorry to hear that your guy has to be away for it. Thanks for posting the Cronenberg quote. How great to hear. I’m so glad for Rob.

Sydney – enjoy your weekend in Vail.

Smitty – nice to see you pop in. I hope all is well with you.

Fio – I hope you are feeling better.

DK – how are things settling in your new place?

Birdie – I so agree with your “confessions”

Olivia – beautifully put, as always. Thanks for sharing the symbolism of grasshoppers. Very interesting.

@Rhonda

It was an amazing thing for him to say, even better given that he is truly on of the greatest directors ever.

I was looking forward to Cosmopolis anyway, but hearing David say that Rob will ''blow our minds'', well, my excitement went up ten fold.

I'm halfway through The Two Towers and loving it.

Hearing the SWATH producers saying that it will have a LOTR feel to it made me feel all giddy LOL.

Next year is going to be AMAZING. Bel Ami, OTR, Cosmopolis, SWATH, and Breaking Dawn Part 2. I can't wait!!! (rocks back and forth in seat)

Claire- LOL! Seriously, I'm excited too. As fans, we have a lot to look forward to :)

I also agree with what you said about Cronenberg. He's in a class all by himself, in my opinion.

Rhonda said...

Hi dottie :)

Claire said...

@Rhonda

We certainly do!!!

On Cronenberg, he was certainly in a class of one when it came to the horror genre. The first movie of his I ever saw was eXistenZ, and I was a fan straight away. The Fly, Scanners, Rabid, The Brood, and Videodrome are some of the most fucked up films I've ever seen in my life.

Lately he's went more mainstream, with A History of Violence, Eastern Promises, and A Dangerous Method (can't wait to see this).

Following Cosmopolis news as it's been happening, I've noticed that a lot of guys are seriously pumped for it.

The cast is just ridiculously talented, Rob, Paul Giamatti (loved him in Cinderella Man and Barney's Version), Juliette Binoche (no words needed), Samantha Morton (again, no words needed).

It must have been some experience for Rob to work with DC. And seeing as though the story is about Eric, with the other characters having really small roles, aside form Torval, I bet there was a lot of one on one time between Rob and DC.

Sorry for the long post LOL

Rhonda said...

Claire- No apology needed, I completely agree :)

Hello Roselanders

I haven't posted here in ages, although I read the blog regularly.

Rose... as usual... great blog.

If confession is good for the soul, then let me confess:

I confess that in the "what if game" I would chose to be invisible, that way the snakes couldn't hear me, the dog would not know where to pee on me and I wouldn't be seen rolling up the ball of earwax to flick it at the dog LOL.

Oh yes... added bonus... being invisible would mean I could get on any flight (free of charge), go to any venue (unnotices), attend any concert, premier, etc., and generally live the life of Riley... all for free LMAO.

I like this game!

On the subject of the gorgeous R & K, I must confess I am dying to see them again,,, this drought has been a "pain in the preverbials" and I want to experience the thrill of seeing their wonderful bubble again.

Love to All.

Just smiling, twirling and believing while listening to some music, having my morning cuppa, and reading the Sunday newspaper.

Yes, Rob has a beautiful smile. So happy for him.

Will call a good friend who lives in Plymouth this afternoon for the latest bit of wolverine news from them.
Take care IB. Enjoy the beautiful Lake Michigan end of summer afternoons. Am off to Targé : ) in a bit, and then to work. Hope to finally see The Help later this afternoon.

Good morning ladies,

Beautiful day here and much cooler now that the storms have moved through.

Olivia,

Wolverines won 34-10 against WMU. The game was halted and evacuated because of lightening with a little over a minute left in the 3rd quarter. First time in Big House history that has happened. The game was officially called after a 51 minute delay.

olivia said...

IB,
Oops, how silly....
I accidently moved you to be near PL who is somewhere near Lake M. You are in the beautiful upstate region of the NE! Another gorgeous area. Would love to visit in the Fall.

Enjoy this weekend, IB. Sounds yummy. Then, have a most wonderful Tuesday! Will be hoping that it will be your best year ever!

olivia said...

Hi PL,
Thanks. That is what I heard. My friends are huge fans. The guest bathroom at their place is very elegant but completely done in blue and maize with U of M touches. They travel to every bowl game. They also are dedicated D. Tiger fans.
So to you, I wish those beautiful Lake M sunsets during these last days of Summer!
((Hugs)) I'm out the door.

Oh, how happy
You have made me
Oh, how happy
You have made me

I have kissed your lips
A thousand times
And more times than I can count

I have called you mine
You have stood by me
In my darkest hour

In our years together
We have had stormy weather
But our love has been so strong
That somehow we've carried on

Girl, you brought joy to my delight
And all that was wrong
You have made it right
And I love, I love, I love you

Oh, how happy
You have made me
Oh, how happy
You have made me

(Oh, how happy) oh, how happy
(Oh, how happy) oh, how happy
(Oh, how happy) you.....

(You have made me) you have made me

Welcome back
Your dreams were your ticket out

Welcome back
To that same old place that you laughed about

Well the names have all changed
Since you hung around
But those dreams have remained
And they've turned around

Who'd have thought they'd lead ya
(who'd have thought they'd lead ya)
Back here where we need ya
(back here where we need ya)

Yeah, we tease him a lot
'cause we got him on the spot
Welcome back

Welcome back, welcome back
Welcome back
Welcome back, welcome back
Welcome back

Welcome back
We always could spot a friend
Welcome back

Welcome back
And I smile when I think
How you must have been
And I know what a scene
You were learning in

Was there something
That made you come back again
And what could ever lead ya
(what could ever lead ya)
Back here where we need ya
(back here where we need ya)

Yeah, we tease him a lot
'cause we got him on the spot
Welcome back

Welcome back, welcome back
Welcome back!

Say It With Music

Jack Payne/BBC Orchestra-1931
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSly7qPEFc0

Music is a language
Lovers understand
Melody and romance
Wander hand in hand

Cupid never fails
Assisted by a band
So if you have something
Sweet to tell her

Say it with music
Beautiful music

Somehow they'd rather be kissed
To the strains of Chopin or Liszt
A melody mellow
Played on a cello

Helps Mister Cupid along
So say it
With a beautiful song

There's a tender message
Deep down in my heart
Something you should know
But how am I to start?

Say it with music
Beautiful music
Say it with a beautiful song

Thank you/jackpaynefan

Just saw it LOVE IT!! love the song she looks so beautiful n LOVE her w long hair just so pretty! Okay I gotta go I'm supposed to be unplugged but he went out to get some food so I had some time. I hope all u guys r doing great!

DreamerKind said...

@Emilia
Thanks, hon. Good to see you here, too. Unplugged, are you? Well, whatever works in the long run, is what matters.

Yes, great song, Marcus's singing & video, Kristen and Tom parts. ITA.

Charming fan account with pics now and more to come, of meeting R&K in London today on Robstenation, also. Looks like it's valid. Sweet accounting in any case.

Back soon. (Hugs)

Claire said...

This, THIS is one of the reasons I fucking love them both.

You hear reports of famous people being obnoxious and rude to fans when they are promoting and what have you. Yet here's Rob and Kristen attending some sort of party in their off time, yet still have the courtesy to talk to a young fan and let her snap a pic.

Some of their peers should take a leaf out of their book, I'm looking at you Shia LaDouche.

Super RN Gas Passer said...

Awwwww...That is so sweet...the young girl that had a meltdown when she saw R&K..at least she is a teenager!!!!! soooo...she has a built in excuse for getting "all emotional"...I..on the other hand would have NO EXCUSE..but would probably behave the same..lol...:)

Claire said...

@Super

I wouldn't have the balls to even approach them LOL

@Super
HAHAHA! We don't need any excuses, for any of our antics, right?

@Claire
You are so funny, and point blank. Sure enjoy your comments.

Word verf: "fling"
One never knows, when one will fling themselves down, sobbing with joy, does one?

DreamerKind said...

@Super
And, I've got my "W" mag. w/K, and "EW" with both! Looking good, sounding happy, that's my favorite Duo.

Thinking to head down for a swim..shall return.

Super RN Gas Passer said...

CLAIRE....I agree...I dont know that I "could" do it...I know they are "really down to earth people"....it's really silly...isn't it?...to act like that....lol..Good for Her!:)

DK..You got your mags..I couldnt find either one in this little "po- dunk town...I just subscribed to EW for a year....but I doubt they will send me that one!

DreamerKind said...

@Super
Oops, it's too cold for swimming, and I should have checked the temp, rather than looking out the windows, lol! Tomorrow will be cool also. Love it though.

Say, I can try to get the W mag for you here and send it on. It was in a little shop called The Nook, which sells lots of mags, penny candies, ice cream, and doesn't even have a/c! What a gem.

DreamerKind said...

@Super
OK, I've snagged a copy for you, and will go soon and pick it up, have some ice cream, buy my favorite gum-old-style Dentyne, and be back later.
No EW is available since it is the August 19/26 issue & long gone. Boo to the hoo!

Happy Day!!!!! (Where's IB and her exclaims?)

Great word verf: "pitiola"
It's the pitiola over someone else's happiness, that should be pitied.

I say, "fockola" about "pitiola", right Bren? Love those word verfs. when not drunk, that is...

Super RN Gas Passer said...

DK...How very nice of you! I will email you my address...and I need yours:)

my last verif was handom..hmmmm...I say fockola to that also...eyeroll...hahaha

Super: I checked my mags and could only find the May issue of EW that showcased breaking Dawn 'Edward & Bella' (I guess the August issue got recycled) bad fan :(

However, if you want it, my friend, just email me and I'll forward it along this week!

Loved that sweet fangirl story from London... Don't you remember how you were as a teen or preteen, ready to let loose the tears at the silliest provocation? I can only imagine how R & K must feel when confronted by these young fans, simply overwhelmed by the emotion of seeing their "Beatles" or "Michael Jackson" or "Tom Cruise" or "Johnny Depp" or "David Beckham"... well, you get the picture!

Hi DK! As usual your recent song postings have been inspiring, entertaining, and yes, even AMAZING!

Claire, I just flove your take on life... I look forward to your comments for a good chuckle to my day :)

Big reunion hugs to Smitty, Syd, Gruff... <3

I'm stealing from Liza, but sincerely send Massive Love to Rose!!

Super RN Gas Passer said...

KENZZ...Thank you so much for your kind offer! DK has something for me I think. I will let you know:) I hope your are having a nice relaxing holiday weekend. Yes..I was laughing a little about the "teen" emotions. I remember one afternoon I asked my daughter..14 at the time..if she wanted to go with me to WalMart...she burst into tears and informed me she didnt have anything to wear! I just stood there..in shock..for a minute trying to get a "grip" on what had just transpired....lol

Hi all,

I just got back home late this afternoon and have been trying to catch up on everything.

It was great to see Rob looking so happy in the pictures from Heathrow. I wonder why???? Ha ha. And the fan's story from the party/christening was very cute. It's amazing how one account has so many people on a high.

Hi Super, Kenzz, DK, Claire, Emilia and all the other Roselanders - I hope you are all well and enjoying the long weekend.

Kenzz said...

Well, Super, we know how important is is to look good at Walmart! haha

Hi Freddie! How's life; the job; etc?

I'm heading to a PGA Golf Tournament tomorrow... Personally, I suck at the game, but the hubs is quite talented, so I can occasionally be coerced into enjoying watching it in person if the weather is as nice as it should be here tomorrow :) You know me, any opportunity to work on my tan!

Roseland, wishing you all, near and far, a lovely end of your long weekend (for those in the US), and a productive week for the rest of you!

Freddie said...

Hi Kenzz - things are good...I think. I'm still feeling my way at work but am enjoying learning new things.

Going the PGA tournament sounds like a lot of fun. I'm sure your golf is vastly better than mine. I took one lesson once but just couldn't get the grip right on the club. It felt awkward, unnatural to me. So, I've never pursued it from there, even though it is almost a necessary skill in business.

I hope you have a wonderful time. Are the kids back at school yet, or do they start on Tuesday as well?

Kenzz said...

Hi freddie!!! Sooooo good to "see" you! :) And no way your golf game is worse than mine... When I was in the business world (before kiddos), I was required to get onto the golf course at times... I was always the assigned driver of the roaming golf cart/ beermobile :(

My son went back to school (RESIDENTIAL) last Tuesday nite... My daughter (public school) begins Wednesday 9/7... Am I a bad mother to think Yeeeeaaaayyyyy!! ?

Have a fabulous week!!!

Freddie said...

Kenzz - nice to see you as well.

Beer mobile..LOL.

Not a bad mom at all. You're just saying what most moms (and dads) are thinking. School is a win-win for both the parents and kids.

Have a good day tomorrow.

Kenzz said...

Freddie, of course I don't know you at all in RL, but your recent posts have sounded a bit...tired? Hope it's just a work thing, and you'll soon be back to your usual Roseland self!! We ALL think you are fabulous... You remember everyone's background, you're as sweet as sweet can be, and you always ask how the members here are doing in their lives... Please know I wish you all the happiness and success you so clearly deserve!

Freddie said...

Kenzz - thanks so much for the kind words and the encouragement. It means a lot.

You, my friend, are one in a million. Truly!

Super RN Gas Passer said...

FREDDIE...Good to see you! I was delighted to see a happy ROB as well:)

KENZZ..Enjoy your golf outing with hubs! I hope the weather is good. Still in the low 90's here and high humidity....which ruins my hair...haha..I will be off tomorrow myself but hope to keep a low profile and hang around the house. Hamburgers etc for dinner tomorrow night:)

Freddie said...

HI Super - I hope all is well with you. I think I saw a note in a post the other day where you were having a bad day. I hope that has long passed.

I also saw some new/newer black and white pictures of Rob from the photoshoot that gave us the hoodie pictures. The B&W ones a quite beautiful, as always.

I hope you have a wonderful relaxing day tomorrow. Burgers sounds like the perfect menu.

Have a good one.

DreamerKind said...

Hello, Super, Kenzz, and fab Freddie!

Just got home with the W mag for a certain person, lol. Also, bought 4 bottles of champagne & 2 red wines, no, not for tonight (well, only one) that were such a great price, I just HAD to!

@Freddie
Kenzz said it all, and I'll say more-you are such a valuable person to us all, and thanks for intro-ing me to Sophie! <3

@Kenzz
My golf style is like playing croquet, since the ball doesn't get off of the ground, and hits something, when I'm lucky.

Amazing folks, like amazing music, and I am amazed at those who wrote those amazing songs. :)

@Freddie
No swing, except a playground swing, feels natural to me either.

Super RN Gas Passer said...

FREDDIE...Thanks..Yes...I had a long week and was worn out by Friday..lol...one little bottle of light beer and I was ready to go to bed!

Have a good day tomorrow Freddie...I assume you will go to work as I think Labor Day is just an American holiday?!

Good Night Everybody!

Freddie said...

Thanks DK - right back at you. No one could take your place. You help shape the spirit of Roseland.

Super - It's good that you get the long weekend after a tough week. We also observe Labour Day, so I'm planning to sleep late, then go do a little retail therapy at one of the malls that stays open. All in all, it's shaping up to be a good day.

Enjoy your days, ladies.

Baby, I'm-a want you
Baby, I'm-a need you
You the only one I care enough
To hurt about
Maybe I'm-a crazy
But I just can't live without...

Your lovin' and affection
Givin' me direction
Like a guiding light to help me Through a darkest hour
Lately I'm a-prayin'
That you'll always be a-stayin' beside me

Used to be my life
Was just emotions passing by
Feeling all the while
And never really knowing why...

Lately I'm a-prayin'
That you'll always be a-stayin' beside me.

Used to be my life was just emotions passing by
Then you came along and made me laugh
And made me cry...
You taught me why...

Baby, I'm-a want you
Baby, I'm-a need you

Oh, it took so long to find you, baby

Baby, I'm-a want you
Baby, I'm-a need you

Brighter Than The Sun

Colbie Caillat:

Stopped me on the corner
I swear you hit me like a vision
I, I, I wasn't expectin'
But who am I to tell fate
Where it's supposed to go?

With it, don't you blink
You might miss it
See we got a right to just
Love it, or leave it
You find it, you keep it
Cuz it ain't everyday
You get the chance to say

Ooooh this is how it starts
Lightning strikes the heart
It goes off like a gun
Brighter than the sun

Ooooh we could be the stars
Fallin' from the sky
Shining how we want
Brighter than the sun

I've never seen it
I found this love I wanna feed it
You better believe
I'm gonna treat it
Better than anything I've ever had
Cuz you're so damn beautiful

Read it
It's signed and delivered
Let's seal it
Boy we go together

Like Peanuts and Paydays
And Marley and Reggae
And it ain't every day
You get the chance to say

Ooooh this is how it starts
Lightning strikes the heart
It goes off like a gun
Brighter than the sun

Ooooh we could be the stars
Fallin' from the sky
Shining how we want
Brighter than the sun

Everything is like a whiteout
Cuz we shika-shika-shine down
Even when the when the light's out
But I can see you glow

Got my head up in the rafters
Got me happy ever after
Never felt this way before
Ain't felt this way before

Swear you hit me like a vision
I, I, I wasn't expectin'
But who am I to tell fate
Where it supposed to go?

Ooooh this is how it starts
Lightning strikes the heart
It goes off like a gun
Brighter than the sun

A Blown Mind, Doesn't Mind

It's My Life

The Animals-1965:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hT18xK5Jc8

It's a hard world
To get a break in
All the good things
Have been taken

But girl there are ways
To make certain things pay
Though I'm dressed in these rags
I'll wear sable some day

Hear what I say
I'm gonna ride the serpent
No more time spent
Sweatin' rent

Hear my command
It ain't no use
I'm breakin' loose
Holdin' me down
Stick around

But baby (baby)
Remember (remember)
It's my life
And I'll do what I want

It's my mind
And I'll think what I want
Show me I'm wrong

Hurt me sometime
But some day
I'll treat you real fine

There'll be women
And their fortunes
Who just want to mother orphans

Are you gonna cry
When I'm squeezing them dry
Taking all I can get
No regrets
When I openly lie

And live on their money
Believe me honey, that money
Can you believe
I ain't no saint
No complaints
So girl throw out
Any doubt

And baby (baby)
Remember (remember)
It's my life and I'll do what I want
It's my mind and I'll think what I want
Show me I'm wrong, hurt me sometime
But some day I'll treat you real fine

It's my life and I'll do what I want
Don't push me

It's my mind and I'll think what I want
It's my life

It's my life and I'll do what I want
And I can do what I want

It's my mind and I'll think what I want
You can't tell me

It's my life and I'll do what I want

For Syd & Pals-Change Not Needed (Zero)

We Never Change

Coldplay:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZSobH1wiiM

I wanna live life
And never be cruel
I wanna live life
And be good to you

And I wanna fly
And never come down
And live my life
And have friends around

We never change, do we?
No, no
We never learn, do we?

So I wanna live in a wooden house
I wanna live life
And always be true
I wanna live life
And be good to you

And I wanna fly
And never come down
And live my life
And have friends around

We never change, do we?
No, no
We never learn, do we?

Oh, and I don´t have a soul
To save
Yes, and I sin every single day

We never change, do we?
We never learn, do we?

So I wanna live in a wooden house
Where making more friends
Would be easy

I wanna live
Where the sun comes out

While I am having some champagne, posting songs, waiting for company on RL; I have on the designers competitions on the tellie!

Since I have re-cabled, a bit of my life onto the tube, I find inspiration on certain shows, like Hoarders (to throw my stuff away), Storage Wars (to make $$ buying stuff), House Hunters (dreams of travel/living abroad) and design shows (learning a thing or two).

Somehow, the creative side reveals a new self to me. Kinda like adding to the mix, like I do, here on Roseland. Stirred, not shaken, please.

Thanks, Rose, for your particular mix and letting me be an added pinch of, in your mix.

One year now, so I toast the past while enjoying the blast, of the present.

I am grateful for this place, time, and all of you.

It was Kreni and her charming self that inspired me today. R & K, inspire every day. Certainly, you all inspire each other and me, too.

Gonna get on with it, right now.

There'll Be Some Changes Made

Glenn Miller Orchestra/Dorothy Claire:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7yuFPmyd9A

They say don't change the old
For the new,
But I've found out
This will never do

When you grow old
You don't last long
You're here today
And then tomorrow you're gone

I loved a man
For many years gone by
I tho't his love for me
Would never die

He made some changes
That would never do
From now on I'm goin'
To make some changes too

For there's a change in the weather
There's a change in the sea
So from now on
There'll be a change in me

My walk will be diff'rent
My talk and my name
Nothin' about me
Is goin' to be the same

I'm goin' to change
My way of livin'
If that ain't enough
Then I'll change the way
Tat I strut my stuff

'cause nobody wants you
When you're old and gray
There'll be some changes made

They say the old time
Things are the best
That may be very good
For all the rest

But I'm goin' to let
The old things be
'Cause they are certainly
Not suited for me

There was a time
When I thought that way
That's why I'm all alone
Here today

Since ev'ry one of these days
Seeks something new
From now on I'm goin'
To seek some new things too

For there's a change in the fashions
Ask the feminine folks
Even Jack Benny
Has been changing jokes

I must make some changes
From old to the new
I must do things
Just the same as others do

I'm goin' to change my long, tall Daddy
For a little short fat
Goin' to change the number
Where I live at

I must have some lovin'
Or I'll fade away
There'll be some changes made

Thank you/bingcrosby1903

Put me on the back burner with the sopapilla and talk with Kat. I am vastly amused with the lyrics/music I am finding, and somewhat frazzled with champs. Win-win.

Cable, I am undecided. My days are so full, and I'm full of them, so it is like overloading my circuits, but what the hell (WTH) right, so much fun.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
This is probs. the best LD weekend I've ever had.

Bubbly, pancakes, gyros, friends called, kids are off somewhere, my brother didn't invite me over for tomorrow (yet).

I have so much booze around, new French copper pots to burn, police blaring sirens along with neighbors blaring music. Divine noise.

Feels like I might be up late tonight...walking the line. A jagged line, no destination known.

So 60's, am I.

Bren said...

I'm still hungry...sopaipilla number two coming up....( I can't believe I spelled it wrong the first time).

I am being a little "oinker" tonight.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Did you plan that extra Tom Collins, bet not!

No, I don't plan the music, if I did I'd be really off, for things must "happen" for me to hear them in my head, demanding to be heard. (Angelsslave may put me in the straight jacket yet!)

Oh, I have my own demands, too, and the end desire is to please my homies/lovies/buds, y'all.

Bren said...

Don't like gyros, but like the sound of French copper pans, is this something new?

OK, Tom and I are a done deal...I am moving on to a Whiskey Sour...

Do you always spend LD w/bro?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
No matter, I don't know the spelling of it, in any case, so I'll take both of yours, and go with them.

If you don't overdo with food early, you can do it over, late.

So great to be making those changes like the song, and dieting is not one of them, unless it's a special diet for one, like mine.

That part, "tomorrow you may be gone" is so true for geezers, with tweezers and crowd pleasers, with us teasers.

We will be at the in-laws tomorrow, relatives from AZ, and Cal are in town so it should be nice...I can't believe it's the end of summer...

@Bren
Hmmm, french copper pans are new to me, but ancient in practice. They are so beautiful and consistent for even heating, that I bought a couple for the hell of it (THOI). Adventures with copper in American Senior Cooking Escapades (my new book to be written soon!)

No, the bro is peeved with the sis, and neglected to invite me to a birthday tomorrow, since I've been incognito since moving into his neighborhood.

He is, however, delighted that the tv he helped me pick out, is finally up and running, so I can check the weather there, instead of out of my window (por que?).

What are your plans for LD, besides oversleeping and having a headache?

Best word verf: "outogle" out ogle
Who would out ogle R or K, and win the prize for it? Name names, make a list.

Sounds like a good time with the fam tomorrow. Don't believe that summer is over, and it won't be. You see what you believe.

I didn't know you had moved into the bro's neighborhood...does he want you over everyday, or what?

Who's birthday, his or SIL?

Fockola, I tell you...

@Bren
Cool song arrangement! Wish I had seen them in Minneapolis when I was there.

The Tourist is on, near the end. Have you seen it? Angelina is gorge. Johhny is deep, as usual. Maybe putting the sound on would make it more fascinato, nah, it's fine, still grabs the eye if not the ear.

Bren said...

Did I just dedicate a song to Rob?

I must be getting tipsy...lol

Oh, he loves anything by Mr. Morrison....at least I think he does..

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
I am 15 mins. south of the bro. vs. 90 before move. It is my sis's male friend's birthday. Just popped up as a celebration, and he told me, but bro remains en silencia.

Did you note that word verf I got-pitiola? Full of pity, that word.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Yes, you did dedicate the song to Rob, and why not? He would love it.

I dedicate songs to a wide variety of people, who will not see them but no matter, intentions travel the ether into their hearts, if it is for the good of all.

You are tipsy, and I am a philosopher of sorts (what sort?).

@Rose
Johnny Depp does not have a fascinating walk like Rob, so they should not show him walking in movies, imo. Much better, he dances.

Oh Crap, I just noticed I lost one of my earrings...and they are the pair MD gave me last xmas....that bugs when you lose something special.

I don't know DK, I have been batting 1000 for a while now...maybe I should hibernate till spring...lol

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Too bad about the earring. Is it too late to look for it? Under the influence may help.

Hibernate if you wish. Have lots of fruit available, as you like.

Want to vamoose?

Depp dances, really?

But he walks funny?

Yeah Lady,

I think the party is over...

Hi to Birdie and Gwen, maybe you can come and hang next time, we are in town....

10/4...Over and Out...

(and I promise not to delete)

@Bren
Well, he was ballroom dancing in the movie with Angie, but when walking, it wasn't funny either, only average walking like us masses.

Spoiled by the likes of Pattinson's, I surmise. Millions surmise the same, I'd bet my usual hundo on that.

Word verf: "aciding"
No, not at all. Isn't champagne alkaline?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Take it easy. The earring will turn up.

Might as well say, aloha, instead of watching a surfing movie, and go to bed, too.

Don't labor hardly, on this day off for Labor.

Cheers.

Hi ladies

I got my WFE DVD today and have just watched it again *sigh* Such a beautiful movie.

Also got my copy of W Magazine that is now alongside Kristen's Vogue issue and ELLE UK.

Hope you're all having a nice day.

Hi Claire- It is a beautiful movie. It has that old Hollywood feel that I just love :)

I hope everyone has enjoyed a nice Monday/Labor Day. It's been pouring rain here all day. It's put a huge damper on our plans for the holiday :(

Kenzz- I hope you enjoy the PGA tournament. My dad was an excellent golfer and taught us all the game, but I certainly didn't inherit any of his skill. You don't even want to know what my handicap is....I'll be joining you at the beer mobile ;)

Kenzz said...

Rhonda: Sorry for your crappy weather... certainly no way to officially end the summer :( Unlike you, I inherited my lack of golf skills honestly... my dad has won numerous "Worst Player" awards during his tournament outings for business!

PGA tournament was fun... sun was in and out, and we were able to worm our way up close to a couple of holes (since it's the final day, loads of spectators!).

Claire: I'm so jealous about your WFE dvd!! I swear when I saw the movie on the "big-screen'" I actually got choked up when Robert came on the screen...it was just so...epic... in it's manner of filming!

Happy Labor Day! I'm throwing on my bathing suit to go enjoy the last rays of the holiday... Will surely check in later...
