Happy Christmas and a Twirly New Year!

A Very Merry Christmas... and a Happy New Year!

They make this look easy, don't they?

Well... They make this look easy too...

And oh so Natural. Like they BELONG together...

They always find some reason to touch each other...

Again... and it looks so natural...

K-I-S-S-I-N-G!

Just because I miss BOTH of their faces...

Christmas Thoughts.

There is the usual drama over where Rob and Kristen
are spending the holidays.
Like if Rob goes to London alone... it has significant meaning...
But if Kristen goes with him..
Well then she is just a clingy famewhore.
Do you hear the music?
FACE IT.

It doesn't MATTER who goes where...
Or when they get to wherever they are going.
What matters is that they are SAFE
and that they have a quiet PEACEFUL holiday.
They WILL be together.
They ALWAYS are.
New Years Eve?
Doesn't anyone remember what happened last year?
Didn't you learn anything from that?
 Love always finds a way.
And so do Rob and Kristen.
ALWAYS.

Count on it.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

And a very TWIRLY year to come!

Bye for now
♥✩♥✩♥

Indeed.

I'm posting this now because I won't be on later tonight :)

‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through my house
Every creature was stirring, even my wireless mouse
The stockings were hung, somewhat with care
In hopes that the chocolate fairy soon would be there
Her majesty (my child) was nowhere near bed
Instead she was texting while songs danced in her head
With Diva in his flannel, and a cat in my lap
I had just settled down with a drink made of schnapps
When all of a sudden, there arose such a clatter
I reached for my phone to see what was the matter
Across the office I flew like a flash
Stepped over the dog and avoided a crash
I peeked out the window and looked for the snow
The weatherman promised was going to show
I opened my laptop and what did appear
An email inbox full of holiday cheer
With a smiling heart beating giddy and quick
I knew in an instant it must be my chicks
As I read one letter, more of them came
I laughed and smiled and squeed at each name
Oh Susan, and Liza, and Cate… you vixen
There’s Kami and Kay and Melinda and Penn
The hour chimed late from the clock in the hall
So I quickly typed out a reply to them all
My dear sweet friends, I have to fly
Your kindness and friendship brings a tear to my eye
I hope that the holiday season is good to you
And next year brings nothing but happiness too
Thank you for letting me at times be a goof
And knowing occasionally I may be aloof
With the ins and outs of the day underfoot
It’s nice to know that my friends will stay put
If ever you meet someone who’s junk needs a whack
Don’t worry my peeps, I got your back
We’ve shared laughter and tears and times that were merry
Let’s just not tell anyone about the whipped cream and cherries
If I could wrap up a hug, and adorn it with a bow
I’d be sending you each a gift, just so you know
Oh hello kitty, with your sharp claws and teeth
Could you please stay off my desk and just go beneath
Okay fine I will pet you and rub your belly
Now go away and I’ll give you some turkey from the deli
I’m starting to think I might I need an elf
He can bring you your gifts since I can’t do it myself
Perhaps a hottie... there is one in the shed
No wait... I think I’ll keep that one for me instead
This rhyming has taken a lot of hard work
I hope all enjoy, even those who might lurk
And now I must go because it is time to doze
Hopefully while I’m asleep it will decide to snow
If I didn’t remember your name it’s not a dismissal
I just couldn’t fit them all in so please don’t bristle
Just one last thing before I turn out my lights
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

ps. I'm sorry I butchered your name PL, but vixen is REALLY hard to rhyme!!

Hi Rose,

This was a great follow-up to yesterdays post. I really do hope that wherever Robert and Kristen are, they are happy and enjoying precious time with family and friends, and one another, at this special time of year.

While I’ve seen the picture of them from the Eclipse LA premiere a number of times, it still strikes me as such a beautiful picture. They really do seem to be “safe” with one another. It’s wonderful to see.

I was drawn to Rose’s blog initially because of my appreciation for Rob and Kristen, but it was the friendship and support shown by the board members to one another that held a special appeal. So, as a relative newbie to Roseland, I wanted to thank you all for welcoming me to this wonderful place, and I’d like to offer my best wishes to you and yours for a safe and happy Christmas. Hope Santa is good to everyone.

Best regards,

Freddie

Like you said Rose, it doesn't matter where they are at the moment, together or apart, they will ALWAYS end up at the same place.. TOGETHER.
You can't fight gravity, that pull that they have for each other. It was inevitable, fate, whatever you call it...destiny.
I'm happy for them that they found each other. When you find something that rare, you hang on tight.

Thanks Rose for posting on a hectic day. Keep Twirling

Happy Holidays Roselanders!

Wishing everyone good times and good cheer. London is looking really good right about now. Yay ninjas.

Best Bread Pudding

1 pound loaf of panettone bread
8 large eggs
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 1/2 cups whole milk
1 1/4 cups sugar

Lightly spray 9x13 pan and preheat oven 350 degrees. Trim loaf, then cut bread into bite size pieces and place inside pan.
In a large bowl whisk eggs, whipping cream, milk, and sugar till blended.
Pour mixture over bread pieces, then press gently to sumerge. Let stand 30 minutes and repeat pressing of bread cubes into mixture. (Can be stored covered in fridge for up to two hours until ready for baking)

Bake in 350 degree oven until center is set, about 45 minutes.
Cool 15 minutes.

My daughter gave me this receipe and I cant find the receipe for the drizzle sauce, which I never make. Some top with whip cream. There is variations of bread you can use but this is my favorite. I make it several times a year, especially for my brother. lol Enjoy.

Song To Make You Smile

Justine Clarke/listen here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eSnSANYQXw

This song just arrived today
Floating down from the Milky Way
There's just one thing it wants to say.

I come from far away
And there's something I'd like to do
I like to sing myself to you

Think about something that makes you smile
Think about it for a little while
What you feel and what you see
And give your smile to me.

This song's here to make you smile Just for a litle while
And maybe it can work for everyone

Now we've found our song
No way we're gonna get it wrong
So come on now and sing along:

Think about something that makes you smile,
Think about it for a little while
What you feel and what you see
And give your smile to me.

It's all you have to do and I'll give my smile to you.

Thank you/abckidsmusic

Every year, just before Christmas vacation, my husband and I would return to his high school and attend the Christmas concert put on by the Varsity Choir. Afterwards, there would be an alumni dinner which included caroling. The song that was always the finale for the concert and also the alumni caroling was "Do you hear what I hear?" It would build from almost a whisper into a magnificent crescendo. This was always such a special evening for us. In fact, Doc Smith is still leading alumni gatherings in S.E. Mich. after 40 years. With a smile on my face remembering those special times I dedicate this song. : )

Give Love On Christmas

Jackson Five:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-c4S6thSq4&list=PL130F9C42F49285DE&index=47&playnext=3

People making lists, buying special gifts,
Taking time to be kind to one and all.

It's that time of year when good friends are near,
And you wish you could give more than just presents from a store.

Why don't you give love on Christmas Day
Even the man who has everything
Would be so happy if you would bring
him love on Christmas Day,
No greater gift is there than love.

People you don't know smile and nod hello,
Everywhere there's an air of Christmas joy.
It's that once of year when the world's sincere,
And you'd like to find a way to show the things that words can't say.

Why don't you give love on Christmas Day?
The man on the street and the couple upstairs
All need to know there's someone who cares.
Give love on Christmas Day
No greater gift is there than love.

What the world needs is love
Yes, the world needs more love.

Why don't you give love on Christmas Day
Every little child on Santa's knee
Has room for your love underneath his tree
Give love on Christmas Day
No greater gift is there than love.

What the world needs is love
Yes, the world needs more love.

Thank you/art9972

My Christmas present to myself is a car (it is way over due but I liked not having a car payment) so my dad and I are going car browsing in a bit. Figured this would be a great time to go with no sales people lurking behind you while you look.

Hope all had/are having a great Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS ROSELAND!!!

I consider ALL of you my RK friends even though I don't get to post very often.

It's snowing here in the NC mountains, almost 4 inches so far!!! A lovely white Christmas.

I REALLY MISS R/K, as I'm sure we all do. One thing is for certain, though, if they are apart today, they are MISSING EACH OTHER MORE than we are missing them.

Someone earlier mentioned that apparently they aren't married or they would be together today .... that's not always true. With their families so far apart, they probably spent a great deal of time deciding how they were going to spend their holidays (whether together or apart) because that's what REAL COUPLES do!!!! I don't believe they are married just because they are so young. Also, they get to spend 3 more months together filming BD.

We all know that Kristen is planning to attend the PC awards on Jan. 5th. I believe if Rob were to attend, it would be a real circus for security and the event planners ...... so it will be interesting to see if that happens.

Have a wonderful Christmas evening, everyone!!!
