Rob and Kristen- HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Color me surprised! Kristen and Rob are together! Bwahahahaha!

I don't even know where to begin...
I really don't.
If you go on twitter and read some of the bullshit that is spewed...
Well...
If you are on the twirly happy side of things
You Laugh.
Oh and I am laughing.
If you are on the bitter foamy side of things
You are ANGRY!

And yeah... I'm fucking laughing.
I'm pointing and laughing.
I'm laughing and pointing.
And even though I have a bit of a hangover
from last nights festivites...
I'm twirling.
Heh.
So Rob and Kristen have been hanging out a week in the UK
and this is the first picture to come out.
Brilliant job, if I do say so myself.

But let's get to it, shall we?
The meat of this conversation.

Really Funny. Hilarious in a really sad pathetic way...

See...
What happens when a picture like this comes out
(and we all knew it would sooner or later)
You can almost count on the usual reactions.
The same tired excuses.

1. Kristen looks miserable! Why is she there.

Obviously because Rob wants her there.
(and it fucking KILLS you...)

2. Kristen is such a bitch! Why can't she smile for the camera?

Kristen is awkwardly shy. She admits it.
She also has death threats and constant harassing/stalking lunatics
following her wherever she goes.
Is it that off base for her to be wary and reluctant
to have complete strangers come up to her demanding pictures?
The girl who is in the pic from IOW was getting harassed on her FB acct.
That was only for a short time...
and she started losing it and was considering just erasing everything.
That was just minutes...
Kristen has been dealing with this for years.
We have NO IDEA what she goes through everyday.
None.
We only see seconds... moments at a time.
Yes... she rich and famous
Yes... she has Robert.
But she is a human being.
She's a young girl... trying to live her life the best way she knows how.
She's trying to figure stuff out as she goes along...
Just like you and me.
Is she perfect?
No.
And I bet Kristen would be the first to admit that.
Are you perfect?
Doubt it.
Yet you gleefully throw stones at her...
Trying to hurt her.
Why??
Being angry and jealous is no way to go through life.

I see Rob. I see Kristen. Where the hell is Tom?

People see pictures like this...
And instead of accepting it at face value.
Rob, Kristen and friends out on NYE...

It's all about

"How romantic! Hanging out with a big group of people!"

Well.
Needless to say this is somewhat of a tradition for this
big group of people.
It's just now Kristen is included.
Should they have to stop doing something they want to do
just because lunatics can't leave them alone?
Should they let the fanatics dictate how they
should live their lives?
Fuck that noise.
Besides the fact...
Rob and Kristen aren't going to be making out in public.
Get used to it.
They know they are being constantly watched.
They aren't going to put on a show for your entertainment.

But gnaw on this...
Think about how alone and romantic Rob and Kristen
were when they got back to their hotel room.
Taste good?
Or maybe just a tad bitter?
;)

Now we all know who Rob was kissing at Midnight! ;)

Since this year's drama was so much like last years
I decided to go look at my post from a year ago.
And.
BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
The picture may have changed...
But the excuses/denials remain the same

Here is a portion of my post from January 1, 2010

But...
I'm surrounded by delusion.
Bitter rationalizations.
Silly excuses.

Should I even write about it?
I don't know.
Does it even matter?
Most definitely not.
But I guess one more post
pointing out just how extreme
some people can be...
And let me get this straight right here and now.
It's not just Nons**ns,
It's Robstens, And IDontGiveaShitStens.
Lunatics are everywhere.

I have to pull in some of the good excuses...

that I have read on Twitter...
Other blogs...
and those that were sent to me
by people who read my blog...
The rationalizations to explain away
the pics of Robert and Kristen
Together
In England.

Ready?

1. "That's NOT Kristen! I magnified that picture
on my computer software...
And her face was photo-shopped on the pic!"

2. "That picture was taken LAST year
when they were promoting Twilight."

3. "That picture was taken in Nov when they were
promoting New Moon"

4. "Kristen doesn't have any friends...
so she probably flew to England to spend NYE
with Rob. I visit friends in other countries
ALL the time. Doesn't mean we are in love"

5. "Are we sure these pics were taken in England?
I think the backgrounds were photoshopped
to look like it."

6. "Who cares if they are together in the UK?
They aren't even together in the pictures."

7. "Rob looks so unhappy.
You know Kristen is such a bitch.
She probably forced an invitation."

8. "Big deal. It's just another (out of many)
picture that Robstens are clinging to.
It doesn't prove anything"

Well...
You get the point.
It doesn't matter anymore.
It's done.
It's over.
 The thing is...
BEFORE Kristen was spotted in England with Rob...
People were all about...
"I wish she would just step out in LA
and put this #LondonStew bullshit to rest"
and guess what?
She fucking stepped.
And it wasn't a Pap pic
and it wasn't work related...
It was a little girl who wanted her picture
taken with Edward and Bella...
And does it prove that Robert
is in love with Kristen?
I can't speak for how they feel.
But they must want to be together.
Because they are.
That speaks for itself.

Yeah. Pretty funny, right?
Same tired bullshit.

The more things change...
The more they remain the same.

Closing thoughts.
I'm so sure Kristen flew to the UK for a week...
Just for some sort of bizarro PR scheme.
A PR so strange and twisted...
That up until last night...
There was only one picture of her.
Sounds like a plan.
"GO TO ENGLAND AND PROMOTE... SOMETHING...
I DON'T CARE, MAKE SOMETHING UP.
AND MAKE SURE YOU AREN'T SEEN AT ALL
UNTIL RIGHT UP TO THE DAY BEFORE YOU LEAVE!
DO IT NOW!!"

OR

Rob and Kristen are a seriously committed couple
who want to spend their holidays together.
What's wrong with starting your New Year
with the one you love?
Nothing.
Nothing at all.

Happy New Year!

Just because I miss his face...

This post is brought to you by the letters *D* and *B*

D for Denial.
Now you Deny that you are Denying that you are in Denial.
No wonder you are so angry all the time.

B for BWAHAHAHAHAHA
It never gets fucking old being right.
It never gets fucking old watching foamers scramble
and try to rationalize what keeps happening over and over again.
Never.
Gets.
Fucking.
Old.

Let's just wait and see what the New Year brings...
Shall we?
;)

Bye for now

Also, a fabulous dinner, the likes I haven't had in years!

*I*Believe* said...

I honestly don't know how long I can visit bc I am sleepy but I wanted to stop by at least once over vacation....which is sadly coming to an end:(

Gwen~Glad the weather cooperated for your New Year's Eve.

DK~Happy you had a great time last night.

Whatever suits you, suits us, timewise.

How was your new year's eve?

gwen said...

hi IB!

DK
wow that's great! So you receive kisses, I presume its from family? lol

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
Well, little lady, you would be presuming wrong-they were not from family but total strangers and male to boot. As Bren says, I am one hot mama!

*I*Believe* said...

Nothing too exciting...we had our traditional Shrimp Scampi and then went out to see friends. We were home by 10 PM, though.

*I*Believe* said...

DK~Good for you! I did not get a kiss for midnight...hubby fell asleep....so what else is new?

gwen said...

DK
lol that's our girl! You sure are one hot mama ;)

IB
it's raining every Christmas and New Year's eve here so we're very thankful it stopped for one nite.

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
I did wave the magic wand for you like I said I would. I waved it westward, far across the Pacific, that's where your isle lies, right?

*I*Believe* said...

Did you guys see that Roger Dodger was here earlier? What a wing-nut!!

DreamerKind said...

*IB* & Gwen
I confess to not being kissed at midnight nor on the lips (sigh), but more like 3am. I'm counting it my way, lol.

DreamerKind said...

*IB*
I saw the earlier comments but I was reading them much later, after the happy exit.

*I*Believe* said...

Hey, a kiss is a kiss:)

gwen said...

DK
thanks for waving your wand here.

IB
yes, ive read his/her posts, someone's on the loose and having a bad new year's eve, lol.

DreamerKind said...

*IB*
You are fortunate, in that you may kiss your husband at million times at midnight, every day if you wish.
That is a gift for you both.

*I*Believe* said...

We held our own against he/she and he/she took a powder and left :)

gwen said...

DK and IB
is it a tradition, to get a kiss at midnite? Or is it still acceptable if it's a day after? Lol. We dont have it here. Well, as IB said, a kiss is still a kiss.

*I*Believe* said...

DK~You are correct! I am very blessed....as are Rob and Kristen.

*I*Believe* said...

DreamerKind said...

*IB*
Thanks you are right about kisses!

As Time Goes By

Jimmy Durante/listen here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-GOgLS0DIU

You must remember this,
A kiss is still a kiss,
A sigh is just a sigh,
The fundamental things apply,
as time goes by.

And when two lovers woo,
They still say "I love you,"
on that you can rely,
No matter what the future brings,
as time goes by.

Moonlight and love songs,
never out of date,
Hearts full of passion,
jealousy and hate,

Woman needs man, and man must have his mate,
That no one can deny.

It's still the same old story,
a fight for love and glory,
A case of do or die,

The world will always welcome lovers,
As time goes by.

Thank you/hoopskmccann

*IB*
It was truly a simple meal, with flavor galore. Add to that, two glasses of wine, a Pinot Noir and a Zinfindel. Succulent!

DreamerKind said...

Shame, shame, I didn't spell my favorite wine correctly-tis "Zinfandel". I sit corrected.

Might need a Baileys on the rocks, to forgive myself.

Kiss Me Cabbie!
Our cab arrived fifteen minutes to midnight and then graciously sped the lovely Trio, down the city streets on the way to the first bar.

The cabbie would not answer me, when I spoke to him in Spanish, as he was I suspected from the Middle East (was teasing him just a little with the espanol, when I wasn't gasping at the speed we traveled).

But he did say something in another language, directed to me, after I asked in English, if he would do me the great honor of giving me a kiss. (So my Roseland pals would know I told the truth about NYE kisses.)

I must say that his facial expression never changed from the one of true indifference, even when he quickly called someone using his bluetooth.

I like to believe he wished to share the delightful prospect I posed to him with my question.

He drove even faster, so fast that his transmission was squealing, and we were concerned that we might not make the midnight hour at a bar, at all.

So, it was rather kind of him to drop us off in the middle of the street, three old lovelies exciting a red minivan, wasn't it?

I tipped him but he wanted more....more than I said he should keep for himself.

Lucky, that I can add and subtract sometimes. No kiss, no special tip! Fair's fair.

As he whirled away, I had visions of him lost in thoughts of vestial virgins and kisses.

Alas, we were not them nor did any of us earn our due until later.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
It was a tad cold at my bff's house as she puts the temp down to 62F while sleeping.

No worries, I covered my face with a nice clean pair of pitch black panties I brought along (thank goodness), and my nose was covered, too. All nice and toasty, most of the fricking night.

Bren said...

That was a funny story, how did you even communicate if he didn't speak English..

He would of freaked me out with the speeding...I agree, no kiss, no tip...LOL...

More, more.....

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
To continue, somewhat briefer, if possible:

What Kind of Sparkling?
Went past two or three bars filled with young lovelies and very loud music and police cars/men trudging into them.

Got to the Irish bar, one of 4 in that area, and went in since hardly anyone was there.

Immediately, after we sat down at the bar, the buxom and beautous barkeep brought us some bubbly in a quaint plastic glass.

We each asked her what it was, but she kept not answering, and walked away. That was the signal to taste it we guessed and we did.

Now what in the world was this sparkling drink in a plastic glass?

All of us, having tasted many differents kinds of bubbly were very confused, for we had never tasted this brew before.

Again, we asked her what it was and she said, "Sparkling" and that was all she said.

Never did find out what it was but we had fun speculating about it, and arrived at the conclusion it was a sparkling vinegar used in cooking or such.

It was puckerful and sparkling, as only vinegar can be expected to be and yes, FREE!

@Bren
The humor is in the probable fact that he did speak English, cause when I asked him if I could sit in the front seat next to him, he said, No, in the back!" quite clearly in Americano.

Black panties over the nose...too funny...

I have an aunt who always put on a pair of her or my uncle's underwear on her head to clean her ceiling fans...(so all the dust wouldn't fall on her hair)...one day while doing this, her doorbell rang...it was the UPS guy delivering a package...she opened the door, and the delivery guy immediately looked down...he would not look at her, and she couldn't understand why...when she took the pkg in the house and laid it on the credenza in the entry hall she saw herself in the mirror and saw her red panties on top of her head...she never did that again.

Bouncer Buys A Round
As we were passing an Italian bar, we peeked into the windows first, to gauge the crowd and decide if we wanted to go into it.

Nah, we walked on, and as we did a man rushed out of said bar and shouted to us to come back and into the bar, for he wanted to buy us a round of drinks. Ole!

My lovely cohorts looked doubtful but FREE drinks did the trick, with a little convincing from me.

J told us to name our drinks but that the drink special of Bud Light was very good. I ordered that, while the other two, were priggish and went upscale.

He told the barkeep (another bodacious beauty-must be a requirement for serving in bars) that we were his aunts and to put our drinks on his tab.

Then he leaned into me and whispered that I could buy him a Bud Light, too, and sneak it over to him near the door where he would be checking new patrons coming in, for legal ages, etc.

Sure, I bought that drink, took it to him and placed it under the Christmas tree in the windowsill, where the barkeep would not see it.

There were a few other empty bottle there, so J was quite content I'd say, with his NYE.

For a while, he shared with me, the story of his divorce and children and no joke, he is an admirable father it seems.

Soon, the L's wanted to leave and I didn't drink my BL as I detest it.

As we were leaving, J gave us each a big hug and kiss on a cheek, promising to look forward to when next we would all meet.

All three L's, nodded at the same time, and I'll leave you to guess in what direction our heads moved, in response. It was laughable.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
In my defense, I asked to sit up front with him because I could get into the cab quickly. rather than having to crawl all of the way back into the last minivan seat, behind the L's, would wouldn't do it, no Siree, Bob.

Love that red panties story, but they were your uncles?
If so, I respect him, very much.

Bren said...

That was so sweet....One question...does everyone you meet, tell you their life story? Like me--case closed.

The Minister & Rock Star Revealed
Off we trudged down the street, through the alley and parking lot, across the street (so nice to jaywalk late at night, when the risk is acute) to the next bar.

Sister Lovely knew of this neighborhood bar called Blueberry Hill, that sounded cozy and since we all loved that song, yes, we were going there.

Peeking in the window, we saw that it was just the place for us, lots of geezes like us and a mix of sober and not sober folks, mingling around.

The only seats at the bar were at the end. We passed almost everyone as we made our way over to that spot.

Sitting across from us were two gents who were quite interesting looking. One had on what looked like a white minister's collar under his black coat and the other was wearing aviator sunglasses, a sportsjacket, and a tie.

Right away, I guessed that they were a minister and rock star, incognito, in this dingy NB (neighborhood bar) and that they were very intrigued with us, the Trio.

After drinking a couple of lemondrop shots, we got to laughing and acting silly, to attract their attention (mostly me. Baby was put in the corner, and you don't do that to Baby, so she was not happy and acting up some, badly.)

Next thing we knew, the minister bought us some apple pie a la mode shots, made with something, but topped with a lot of liquor flavored whipped cream (yummy).

The whole bar watched us drink them and laughed at the white, foamy stuff on our upper lips. The shots reminded me of ones we've had before called Blowjobs, but for sure, these tasted better.....

Eventually, we learned that the Minister was really the owner of the bar, and that he could sing some good karaoke, too.

The Rock Star, was he or wasn't he? Don't know who he was, as he did move away from being directly across from us, his loss, certainly.

Later on, RS got into a cab instead of a limo, so there you have it, not a rock star or a rock star?

Maybe he was someone famoso, and like Rob and Kristen who prefer cabs, you know?

Sis was getting pissy in the corner, and so we moved over to the tables. Right away, a lovely man came up to her and started rubbing her back. No more pissy, Sis. So, a good time began again for her.

BFF, after the marvo meal, and several shots, she was a happy slappy.

More answers to your question are going to be in the other snippets.

I posted early in the day, and left...I peeked in b4 dinner and there was a war going on with a troll, so I left....was the calvary called in? (Leo)

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Don't know much about that, as I wasn't on till much later, but I like to think that Leo, the Super Cybergod is standing by, at all times.

Bren said...

The only reason the troll showed up was the new pic of R/K...

They get distemper, parvo everything at once....such a crazy group...they are in desperate need of a reality check.

They wanted to believe K stayed in LA.....Ha,Ha, she was in London, the whole time...

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
I would seem so, on both counts...

Next year, when I am at the Isle of Wight, I will send over a round of those Apple Pies A La Modes Shots, and watch all 20 of them drink them, as I sit in the corner with a bottle of Newcastle in my hand.

No pics, not real! No Dreamer, no shots.

Birdie said...

Good morning ladies!
I have been catching up on bits and pieces of last night.
Bren.
Love the aunt's underewear story.

DK, I am only as far as the cabbie story and can't wait for the rest.

Bren said...

I told you, I'm canceling out on Football tomorrow again...well, I mentoned it last night, and they wanted to know why I have to do this 3 wks in a row...

I might join them later after I tend to some important stuff...I think R will go, if I meet up with him later..you think?

Bren said...

no dreamer, no shots...cute, real cute.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
He will go but it's starting to sound a little hokey, isn't it?

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Happy New Year! Glad you can stop by a little earlier today.

How are you and did you have a good NYE and NYD?

Bren said...

Birdie,

Welcome lady....stay tuned all week for the rest of her stories...all unique, and hilarious.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
You know that I mean a little hokey-pokey, right foot in, right foot out...shake it all about?

(My fav. word verif yet "o bread"-yumster)

Bren said...

OK first cancel, xmas cleaning, second cancel, xmas shopping, third cancel, don't know excuse yet...sounds legit to me...LOL

In all honesty, crowd gives different reasons for canceling all the time...

This was the best excuse ever! Jaylene actually canceled cuz she had to go the hospital and have a baby...imagine that...LOL

Birdie said...

I spent New Year's Eve alone for the first time. We had freezing rain and I had to drive my youngest out in the boondocks for an overnight. That was my biggest thrill.
I did some thinking on that long trip on ice and decided I need to beef up my nightlife. If you know what I mean.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Let's get you on OKCupid pronto!

When do I set up our double dates?

Bren said...

Birdie,

How's it going with your GPS?

I wanted to share this story with you...I have GPS on my phone...well Nicole, called me from work one night, asking if I could go pick up a book for her at her friends house, but she lived across town...I wasn't familiar with that street which was located in a new development...well the GPS took me straight to the street, and then showed me a picture of the house(daylight picture)but the fact that it had a big wrought iron fence in front was easy to find, even in the dark...

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
A baby is such a great reason! Glad I'm done making excuses that way though.

Birdie said...

Here is why technology goes over my head...I am lazy. I hate reading instructions, especially volumes. I got the GPS set up and would play with it briefly on my way to work, but it wouldn't turn on and I was too lazy to look at the instructions. It took a couple days to find the power button. Now I have to set up the program. I also have a new phone that quite possibly has a GPS,I haven't gotten through the instructions. They make me glaze over.
I am going to sit down over the next few days and read all the instructions to all my new toys.

Bren said...

Dreamer,

That has 2b the oldest video, I have ever seen...LOL

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Very funny and sadly true for myself, like you. Instructions, what instructions?

Birdie said...

DK,
I think a double date with you would be terrifying and exhilarating at the same time.
I think I need to hear a few more of your escapades first.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
It's a classic and not too technical for some of us-pure black & white, mono polka music with dancing of a polka. Simple.

No GPS needed! Nothing needed that will divert attention from dance steps, like hops, skips and polka jumps.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
The Hang On Morocco will convince you, I'm certain. I had an epiphany hanging out with that one.

Bren said...

Birdie,

It's not something you would use on a regular basis, but a great thing to have when needed.

I only read instructions, because I have a husband who believes he doesn't have to...

Guys,

My laptop is really feeling hot for some reason, I hope it doesn't go off...if I disappear for awhile bear with me...

Birdie said...

When I was a kid, we used to go to a roller rink on Sunday afternoons and do the hokey pokey on roller skates. I remember that it was very hard to stay in the circle and upright.
Bren,
Be careful with hot things in your lap. I would bet there is no warning for hot laptops. Did you read the instructions?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
It is past 4 and you know what starts to happen to you, too!

(Naughty verf is myi jay)

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Loved skating to the Ho-Po at the rink but never stayed in a circle or upright.

Held onto the railing and faked it, until I learned to slam into the walls, as I got better at it.

(Verf "pumas" and me a cougar!)

DreamerKind said...

Better clear this one up, I think:

I am not really a cougar, the animal or the type of older woman who dates younger men....

It has been my delight to marry them instead, after they propose to me, of course.

Birdie said...

Now that makes me laugh. Remember those days of getting battered, bruised and humiliated on roller skates. Then you would sit on the side and watch the really cool guy and his GF skate by backwards, sideways and upside down. Yet, there you were again the next Sunday, hoping someday you would graduate to Saturday night.

Bren said...

This sucker is too hot, I'll have one of the kids check it out later...

I'm gonna start walking towards that barn now...anything more, before this laptop starts burning myleg?

Bren said...

sorry...my leg

Birdie said...

I also married a younger man. I think I would prefer someone my own age or slightly older.
Word verif:hormi(horny or hormones?)

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Exactly like that!

I spent years in the "baby" rink mastering the crossover step on turns, and pushing myself backwards, by pulling myself along the railing.

There were so many cute guys on the big rink, gliding along, and I fell in love, too many times to count.

By the time I could actually skate a lttle, I got married myself and had no more yearning for a skating partner.

That was another kind of skating I was suddenly into, on very thin and slippery ice, called real life.

Bren said...

What do you know, not one, but two little cougars...is that why you guys are on the Rob bandwagon?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Don't joke! Laptops do get too hot and can burn you, per some article out there recently.

What's wrong with your leg? Put the demmned thing on a table, desk or R's back, silliest.

Since I saw "King's Speech" yesterday, I am into swearing Brit style and looking for an older man (like Birdie) who looks like Colin.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
I am not on Rob's bandwagon.

My orchestra plays for Rob and I am the conductor. Strictly, professional and strictly ballroom.

After all, I have the whole history of music to uphold!

It may take the rest of my life, but conduct my orchestra, I will.

Bren said...

Actually it's cooling down again...it just got a fever for a short while...

ok Cougie's I better get some z's cuz Miss Daisy is expecting me for a visit--sometime this morn'....

Later.

Bren said...

Oh, and don't fret Lil Mama, it didn't burn my leg, I was just joshing with you...

nite all....

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
What happened to the Official Announcement bit, with a codicil to follow?

Maybe you have a fever like the laptop and are off to the barn to see R?

Birdie said...

I think we know why everyone is on the Rob bandwagon.I learned my lesson. I finished Pride and Prejudice and completely understand DK's infatuation with Colin Firth. Is "The King's Speech" as good as you thought it would be?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Night Hotshot!

Birdie said...

Yes,Bren where are you going? All this talk about skating on thin ice,the hokey pokey, and hot laps?
Good night and sleep? tight!

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Outstanding, that's what it was! The audience clapped at the end and I don't recall that ever happening after any other movie I've seen.

His face (Colin's) and the expression of his eyes were at times, painful to watch and I had to look away. I marvel that that level of intensity.

Then, there's the physicality of a beautiful man...

Rob also has those qualities in his performances and pro pics, I believe, and of course, he is a marvel PERIOD.

Birdie said...

I think Olivia said the audience clapped when she went. We have an Oscar? I will have to see if it arrived here, yet.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
You will be hard pressed to choose between Firth and Rush for performance excellence. So it will be interesting to see what happens with nominations.

Birdie said...

I have seen it predicted that Colin would be up for Best Actor and Rush for Best Supporting,

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Last week, I watched "The Cake Eaters" and "Land of Women" with Kristen.

Those were very moving performances and I couldn't take my eyes off of her, for one minute, which is a marvel of its OWN. There's a rumor that I'm not alone in that.

I'm not talking beauty alone, although she has exceptional beauty.

There is an unexpected essence found in the way she moves her head and body that is SO perfect for the character.

Reminds me of both Hepburns, now that I think of them.

Unique-all of them.

Birdie said...

I saw those also. I think she was amazing in The Cake Eaters. I first saw her in Into The Wild. She was mesmerizing in that short role, so vulnerable.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Saw that comment from Olivia, too. Hoped for the same response at my showing and got it!

How long are you hanging here this am?

I'm enjoying our talk but might want to get up from sleeping before the sun goes down again later today. Lol.

What's your line?

Birdie said...

I spent yesterday in front of the fire watching netflix that have been sitting too long in my house. Have you ever seen "Once"? With your love of music I would think you would really appreciate it.

Birdie said...

I am actually going to be productive this morning since I allowed myself a completely lazy day yesterday. If you are tired,by all means get some sleep. I have a few days off and will catch you later.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Have seen and loved it and was obsessed with the music score, playing it over and over!

Played it until my head exploded and this is all that is left of me, for posting on Roseland.

Comme ci, comme ca, still, today.

Birdie said...

Loved it too and am going to get the soundtrack.Sleep well,DK!

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
I guess it may be Best Actor and Best Supporting noms for KS.

What dual performances of subtlety and profundity, there were between them! So expertly portrayed. They boggled my mind, which is sadly gone already.

So, I'm away now, Sweet Bird, and will be with you again on your 6 days off, give or take.

To Rob & Kristen-On Screen & Off

You Take My Breath Away

Eva Cassidy/incredible/listen here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82B4RDDar3Y&feature=fvst

Sometimes it amazes me
How strong the power of love can be
Sometimes you just take my breath away

You watch my love grow like a child
Sometimes gentle and sometimes wild
Sometimes you just take my breath away

And it's too good to slip by
Too good to lose
Too good to be there
Just to use

I'm gonna stand on a mountain top
And tell the news
That you take my breath away

Your beauty is there in all I see
And when I feel your eyes on me
Oh don't you know you
You just take my breath away

Thank you/pakieton

lovely rose,

Happy new year!!

hope this year will be so much better for all of us..
So loved your post..

As much as i missed seeing rob &Kristen, i wish the pic was taken under different circumstances.

I read how the girl said nasty thing about Kristen..But i beleive she'll The Btich..Sorry about the word but it makes me so mad whenever they say things like that about Kristen..or Rob

They dont know her..so "f" off..

I just hope it didnt ruin Rob & Kristen's holiday..

One thing i didnt notice though, there were a lot of people defending Kristen. It means a lot of people care about her..

I really loved it when you said "
Think about how alone and romantic Rob and Kristen
were when they got back to their hotel room.
Taste good?
Or maybe just a tad bitter?"

I really laughed out loud. Way to go Rose!!

Have a wonderful New Year!!

Karen said...

HiRose. Hi Everyone. I know I'm a day late, but I wanted to wish you all a happy and healthy New Year.

I love the pics of Rob and Kristen, but a big part of me wishes that they had been left alone to celebrate with their friends without any intrusions. After their being gracious enough to take a pic with that girl, I was truly disappointed in her comment about Kristen.

I hope they have a safe trip back to the States, and look forward to what 2011 brings them.

Freddie, your post was so touching. You certainly have a way with words. I think you stated what true Robsten fans feel. Thank you.

Rose, thank you for being you. I looke forward to reading your blog everyday, even if I don't post as often as I used to.

Hey what's the name of the video with Kristen? I can't get it to come up.

Rhonda said...

IB- I agree..sigh. He is just way too handsome!

Freddie said...

Hey Rhonda, IB, Angelica, Cate and Hope.

Twilight is on here too. It's seconds away from Edward's cafeteria strut. One of my favourite parts. ....

Rhonda said...

Hi Freddie- How are you? Yes that first sight of Edward in the cafeteria..love it!

Thanks Angelica

Hi Angelica1, Hi Rhonda. :)

Rhonda said...

Annie- Yes, the commentary is great!

*I*Believe* said...

Annie love their commentary!

OK~Edward just played Bella's Lullabye~what long, beautiful fingers he has:)

Hey there Freddie!

Annie said...

I really missed that there was no Kristen and Rob commentary on New Moon.

Hopefully Summit will not make that mistake again by not having a Kristen and Rob commentary for BD.

Hope said...

Hi Freddie, Annie...
Just turned on Twilight too..just watched the bedroom scene when Bella says "NO BED?!!"
That would be my question to Edward too...lol...
...love them...unbeatable chemistry.

*I*Believe* said...

Annie, you are right. Big mistake with no commentary on NM. Other mistake...no Edward strut or intro in Eclipse...they show Jacob, though...silly dog..and could he put a shirt on?

Annie said...

As i was watching Eclipse, it just struck how beautiful Kristen is in her closeups. Stunning really.

Annie said...

True IB but that meadow scene was to die for...So beautifully done.

Annie said...

Hi Hope :)

Rhonda said...

Annie- I agree. I just watched the ELLE photoshoot video..she is absolutely stunning! There is a vulnerabilty about her that's so sweet. You can see how shy she is :)

Freddie said...

Rhonda - we're finally on at the same time. I’m good. How are you? By the way, thanks for your kind words yesterday (or was it the day before). It’s been great chatting with you as well.

IB - you'll be relieved to know that there was no need for a desperate 911 call last night. I managed to get my pathetic, obese self out of the tub all by myself LOL. And before I forget….good luck heading back to school tomorrow.

Angelica – enjoy your holiday tomorrow with your husband.

Hope – I hope all is well in Texas. Have you started that painting or is that something you are still just thinking about?

Hey Annie!

I was enjoying quick-trigger Rose earlier.

Rhonda said...

Freddie- Hey I like that "quick trigger Rose" ...It's catchy!

Hey I worked on cementing my obese hermit status today. I had Ben and Jerry's ice cream!

Rhonda said...

Freddie- Are you back to work tomorrow too?

Annie said...

Hey Freddie. :)

@Rhonda....Not only is there a vulnerability but there's also a strength and a sweetness to her as well and it's so evident. I'm so convinced that she is happy with who she is.

*I*Believe* said...

Hi Freddie~Bless your little heart you didn't get stuck:) Thank you for the well wishes for tomorrow...it is going to be tough...will miss my two cups of coffee mornings with my kitty.

Also, I wanted to thank you for the kind words that you posted about teachers the other day. Thank you Super RN too!

Hope said...

Hey Freddie...yes...I am serious about hiring a painter to do my guest bathroom.... want to do a textured look which I cannot do. Oh...and it is cold here today thank goodness. We are hoping for snow one day this winter. My daughter loves to go sledding even with 1 inch of snow.

Off to fix dinner for the family.

Rhonda said...

Annie- Very well said..I couldn't agree more. Most of us spend a good portion of our lives trying to get where she already is.
