You can almost count on the usual reactions.
The same tired excuses.
1. Kristen looks miserable! Why is she there.
Obviously because Rob wants her there.
(and it fucking KILLS you...)
2. Kristen is such a bitch! Why can't she smile for the camera?
Kristen is awkwardly shy. She admits it.
She also has death threats and constant harassing/stalking lunatics
following her wherever she goes.
Is it that off base for her to be wary and reluctant
to have complete strangers come up to her demanding pictures?
The girl who is in the pic from IOW was getting harassed on her FB acct.
That was only for a short time...
and she started losing it and was considering just erasing everything.
That was just minutes...
Kristen has been dealing with this for years.
We have NO IDEA what she goes through everyday.
None.
We only see seconds... moments at a time.
Yes... she rich and famous
Yes... she has Robert.
But she is a human being.
She's a young girl... trying to live her life the best way she knows how.
She's trying to figure stuff out as she goes along...
Just like you and me.
Is she perfect?
No.
And I bet Kristen would be the first to admit that.
Are you perfect?
Doubt it.
Yet you gleefully throw stones at her...
Trying to hurt her.
Why??
Being angry and jealous is no way to go through life.

Yes, I did study Anthropology in school, but ironically, it has nothing to do with my line of work. I work for a market research/consulting firm. So, while I don’t use the specific knowledge I learned in school, I’m really thankful for the university experience. No one holds your hand there (as is the case in a work setting) and in a sense, it helps you learn how to learn and to take responsibility for yourself – if that makes any sense.
IB – you are a cat person as well. My guy is very special to me, although I swear he’s really person in disguise. He has quite the personality.
Sorry for the delay in responding. I’m having PC problems (it’s running slow as a pig) and I stepped out to order food. I’m still lazy today.

I wanted to say thankyou to Bren and Olivia for remembering me during the last few weeks of
playing one of Santa's elves. It was an exhausting time but at times very rewarding.
Sony finally sent me a new laptop after being without one for 2 months now. I've been trying to go back and reread all the old posts and copy all the wonderful recipes that were posted.
I must admit that having the new laptop is wonderful!(Especially, not having to post from my phone!)
There is always a but... to a statement like that though. I am now able to easily access many websites. In so doing, I have lost my Rose colored glasses from the past two months.
I want to thank Rose for her blog and intercepting all the nasty individuals out there. These past two months I have been just reading this blog. This weekend has shown me that this fandom can just be plain insane. I really feel for Rob and Kristen and Tom for having to put up with the insanity that accompanies their lives. It has been upsetting for me to read the total BS that has been being said and done to interrupt their time off. How they live through this on a daily basis is remarkable! Their fortitude and ability to still be nice to fans is truly a testament to the wonderfully beautiful(inside and out) individuals they are.
So, Thank you again Rose for providing Roseland. Your thoughts and observations provide a haven of sanity for those of us who wish only the best for Rob, Kristen and Tom.
Freddie, your comments for the New Year were so eloquent, thoughtful and heartfelt. By the way, my Mom's cat is doing much better.

Going to see the Doc in the morning cause my knee has been killing me. Repeatedly, climbing in and out of my truck with packages for the last 25 years has finally taken its toll.(not the young whipper snapper I used to be, lol) I used to love to go snow skiing. Guess, I won't be doing that anytime soon. Then again, sitting in the lodge by the fire with a cozy drink doesn't sound too bad either.

Dreamer's NYE Redux:
Bartender Attempts Speech-Kudos For Two
We found our little corner at the bar. The attractive young bartender, Jr., son of the owner, made us feel very comfortable and welcome.
He delivered our lemondrop shots, later, the complimentary apple pie a la mode shots and spent some time talking with us.
Over the next couple of hours, he became even more friendly and attentive, dashing over to make sure we had enough to drink, and a bit of fun, too.
There was a certain theatrical flair about him and as time passed, even more so. Jr. was having a lot of fun behind that bar, not tending it very much but no one cared. (So carefree were we.)
The cash register drawer, bulging with bills, was left wide open, glasses were stacking up unwashed, and so on. Jr, was having his own little party, like our own!
We waved him over, and he began to share just how much fun. I admit to being distracted, singing along with the karaoke, but V. intently listened to him.
He gestured and talked animatedly for about five minutes, a big smile on his face.
When Jr left, V turned to me and said that she hadn't understood one word that he was saying, as his speech was too garbled from the "fun" he had.
All I noticed, was that Jr. had spoken in his style, and V listened in hers. Both gave as good as they got. Kudos for two inspired performances!

Thank you for the info on the website. I will be honest and say I'm a little leery of such organizations as I worked for one when I was much younger. I started in the warehouse and eventually ended up in the office calculating the bonuses for all the people selling products. I was there for several years and learned how the industry worked. Perhaps, their products are new and innovative with much merit. I will have to research further.
I really appreciate the suggestion because I will be looking at other alternatives if the Doc suggests surgery.

It's interesting that you shared that experience, as I was very much in the multi-level marketing world about 20 years ago.
This company was not multi until about a year ago. I am not a business buyer only retail which suits me fine.
I've seen how it works, too and some companies are great, others not. What I base sharing products with others, is on my own personal success and nothing else. I make no money off of others.

Ok, I will tell a funny story that happened on NYE...
First I will set up the scene for you.
The host and hostess of the party were Mike and Debbie..well, M&D just joined the football gang fold this summer, so we don't them as well as we all know each other...during football M keeps telling us all these funny stories involving his Uncle Ralph...he is his dad's youngest brother and a real casanova..well this uncle only dates young chicks, he is 55..so he is going to be at the NYE party, and we are all looking to see what he really is like...next post---the party..

OK I forgot to mention something..during one of the football games Mike tells the guys that his Uncle Ralph acts like Hugh Hefner, all he needs is the silk pj's...well, the guys started calling him Uncle Hugh.
The night of the party, I was standing talking to my friend Kim, when I felt someone slip their hand around my waist..I was startled, Kim was too as she got the other hand on her...well it was Uncle Hugh..he introduced himself to us...first of all he looks 45, and is a damn good looking man, with this bubbly personality...and oh yes, casanova with a capital C...Robert was across from me and saw his introduction, he just grinned and shook his head...we talked with him a little bit and the he moved on to other women in the room...
About an hour later, there was about six of us sitting on this huge sectional sofa...Robert was sitting at the end across the semi-circle from me, and Uncle Hugh came over and told R to move so he could sit next to him...well Uncle Hugh is getting a little loaded and tries to make convo with R..and he asked him, so how many kids do you have? and R says 2, and Uncle Hugh looks shocked and says just 2? R tells him yeah, you see that lady over there in purple, she's my wife..do you think she looks like a rabbit? everyone started laughing----then R continues, although she did want to be a playboy bunny once--(I was thinking no, don't go there--)Then Kim's husband Steve says,Bren is not big enough upstairs to go to the mansion....everyone laughs again...Kim glares at Steve and says really upstairs, mansion...everybody cracks up again...then someone says yeah, I guess her boobs could be a little bigger, and someone else says I think they are just fine, and everyone on that sofa was checking out my boobs...so I said whoa...my girls, and I pointed at my boobs do not appreciate being the topic of conversation...as I gave a piercing look to Robert who started the whole thing...he thought it was hilarious...

Daughter or Friend, Fiend or Foe?Who Cares About Illegal?
So we sat and drank and laughed and sparkled in our little corner of the world. We drew folks like, well, like we did.
Over our way, came a man, a man with the intent to please, and please he did but not everyone, at that time, at least.
Josh introduced himself to V, shaking her hand, then to me, nuzzling me a bit (thank you Rob for nuzzling), and stretched himself over to S, the "Baby" in the corner.
My, but he was cheerful and attractive with such warmth and personality. He shared that his friend told him to come over and meet us (very nice). So far, so good...
Then he asked me, if I was V's daughter (a huge no-no) that resulted in a yes-yes!
I couldn't help myself, it was out of my mouth instantly that I was her daughter! (In reality, she is 19 days younger than me.)
The Lady V quickly and hotly protested, and I gave in to tell the truth, but Josh was mortified. He said I should have just said no, can you believe that?
Suddenly, I am in the wrong for enjoying the joke, he didn't know that he made, although a really smart man would not have made that remark in the first place, but would have found out by other means, do you think so?
So, of course I admitted that he was right, and that the temptation to tease V. had done me in. V has been my bff for over 50 years, and such opportunities to joke about this, don't come by often.
No true feelings were hurt and we continued our merry chit-chat, as the bar owner announced that at 3am, the doors of the bar would be locked.
If you wanted to leave, you had to leave now or be locked inside the bar until final closing at 6am. (You could be let out anytime, but could not come back into the bar.)
I am always game for all nighters but my pals actually work, sometimes, and weren't as keen. They thought we should call a cab and head home. Well, we stayed.
The owner made another announcement, that he didn't care if it was now illegal in Illinois to smoke indoors, he would let all smokers do so until closing!
He proceeded to open the windows in consideration of us non-smokers I'd bet, while the multitudes lit up. That is one ballsy bar owner.
Jr. said that his father knew a few folks in local government and not to worry. Natch, this is Illinois, folks.
Got myself back into everyone's good graces and it was friend again, not foe, and although illegal was happening, we didn't care a snap for that!
Bar life has a life of its own, and it's a good life, on the whole.

I live near a park that does July 4th fireworks. Neighbors of mine have a tradition of setting off firecrackers every 4th in honor of their dad that died suddenly. They set of thousands of them and the noise goes on for 5 minutes or more. We all wait for this every year and they try to one up the year before.

Baby Sis was getting that back rubbing I mentioned in another snippet and V was chatting up someone, too, when I got back from the "loo" (thanks Syd, darling).

I watched him sing with passion and joined in from the sidelines, which lured him our way again, now tableside, since Baby had wanted out of the corner, like NOW!

Well, anyway, I talked, he talked, I smiled, he smiled (Bieber was right) and I could have danced all night.
The Duo part of the Trio decided they had enough (crazies!) and were talking about leaving (we were locked in until let out, remember?).
So, I said to Josh that we would stay if only we didn't have to go V's for the night.
He graciously offered his place for all of us and gave us the address which was only 1 block away.
I confess that I was close to swaying and perhaps did a little in his direction (le nuzzle).
He had a ticket to ride but he don't care, my baby don't care.
(I haven't posted one song tonight and that must be because these words are flying out of me, faster than music can.)
It is somewhat of a blur today as I tell it, but opportunities are lost and chances are gained in living every day, but the Duo's were in a hurry to go home, (damn them) and some things can't be rushed.
