Rose, count me in as one who totally agrees with you........... Kristen was "stunningly gorgeous" last night. She was the most beautiful young woman there and rocked her dress, shoes, hair and makeup. She was flawless.
I have the utmost respect for Rob, flying in with Kristen to accompany her to the show. Their relationship and how protective they are of it, is something to admire and emulate.
I for one did like the coordination of Rob's jacket with Kristen's dress.

I saw Eclipse in IMAX there when it came out though, that was my most recent trip down. That's the closest IMAX too me believe it or not.

Holidays were busy for me, but vacaying this week.(thankgoodness)
I would also buy all the books. Stephanie would definitely make a fortune again. Alot of good could come from that from a financial viewpoint. (Jobs, charities, etc.)
DK I bought 10 megamillion tickets this week but no luck at winning anything. It may take too long doing it that way.

I see you are all talking about Midnight Sun. I'm curious, would you all like Edward so much if he had been portrayed by someone other than Rob and there wasn't that connection with Kristen outside of the movie?
I know now my picture of Edward when I read the books is Rob. I read the books after seeing the movie.

I'm like you and seen the movie first.
Rob embodies Edward to me. The chemistry between Rob and Kristen is what made me want to read the books.
Twilight the movise left me wanting to know more.
Sorry meant movie. My kitten has jumped in my lap and went to sleep. Typing is now a bit difficult.
Susan I agree. Now that I know more about Rob, I think he is a very talented individual. I will always see his face as Edward but after seeing him in other roles I understand it is his talent that made such a good portrayal od Edward.

Edward, is Edward to me and not Rob. In the books, he is the all in all of fine, pure love.
Rob is Edward in the films, as far as I am concerned, and the best that ever was or will be, if they dare to try another in his place.
I'm totally content either way. Kind of like Darcy is Darcy, but Colin is Darcy in the flesh.

I saw the movie once and then read the books. I pictured Edward and Bella physically as Rob and Kristen, but didn't know anything about them as actors. I think they were beautifully cast.
But I loved the character Edward. Not his "perfection" as much as his "goodness" and love for this girl.
Discovering Kristen and rob was icing on the cake.

You're confusing me. I always thought Edward's appeal was his total commitment to Bella. He would do anything for her even if it meant sacrificing his own needs.
And now we read about Rob doing anything for Kristen to keep her feeling happy and safe. So is life imitating art or art imitating life?
