Rob and Kristen- Together... As Always.

What can I possibly say here?

Well.
Here we are again.
Rob is still in Australia as of this writing...
and this is his last stop before he gets some time off.
Is it wrong for me to want that?
Not only for Robert who must be exhausted...
but for me.
Because I'm exhausted, too.

I swear.
I can't keep up with all the pictures and videos and interviews.
I'm doing a rather shitty job of fangirling lately.

BUT.
I did finally get to see WFE over the weekend.
And I don't have much to add that hasn't already been said.
The movie was beautiful to watch.
Robert was beautiful to watch.
The cast was great...
Especially Tai.
Funny how you just want to hug her...

I thought Robert did a great job in this movie.
I really did.
He gets stronger and better with every movie.
So I can't wait to see whatever is next.
I think what I love most about Rob's acting...
Is that he does so much of it... with just his face.
The way he looks
The way he smiles
The way his eyes look pained... or happy... or well up with tears.
He shows EVERYTHING on his beautiful face.
I love that about him.

I loved the circus. The animals.
The scenery.
It was all so gorgeous to look at.

Favorite parts?

1. Robert.
He not only showed that he can hold his own
against high caliber actors...
He looks absolutely fantastic doing it.
Sweaty. Dirty. T-shirts.
Polished. Tux. Leather jacket.
And what the hell...
The necklace he wore...
Why is that so damn sexy??

2. Robert and Tai.
So completely adorable.
Rob's love of animals shows in every scene with her.
LOVE.

3. Christoph.
He plays a helluva bad guy, doesn't he?
Some people just have that face...
that voice...
That demanding presence.
Brilliant.

4. I thought Reese looked gorgeous
and did a good job.
But I was really too busy looking at Robert.

5. The Hyenas.
Yes.
Gotta tell you I thought it was hilarious.
And the best part?
From an interview with Madame Le Figaro

"And there were a couple of hyenas as well...
They were...uh... that was more complicated to be around them.
Cuz they just want to eat you"

Can I just say...
Rob knows.
Oh YES... He knows.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!

YES...

And YES!
 OK.
What didn't I like about the movie?
I pretty much liked the whole thing.
I enjoyed it from start to finish.
It made me cry.
It made me laugh.
It did what it was supposed to do...

But I will be honest.
Not a lot of chemistry with Rob and Reese.
Yeah yeah...
I'm sure some people just think I don't want to see it...
But I didn't.
The kisses were as innocent as you can get
No real passion.
No portraying how much they wanted each other.
It was all... kinda generic.
Like...
Oh well... have to throw this love scene in here.

But other than the lack of chemistry?
LOVE
LOVE
LOVE
Water For Elephants.

Why do I want to see Edward and Bella married so much?

Final thoughts.

The MTV movie awards are coming in June (I think)
I've always made it abundantly clear that I don't get
into the whole voting thing...

But I just find it absolutely HIGHLARIOUS
that the people who scream
"NO ONE CURR"
are the ones going to MTV and voting
and voting
and voting
against Rob and Kristen.
Are the ones who screech the loudest
most vile, disgusting insults...
who bring the most crazy.
So yeah...
GO CRAZY... CRAZY.
Vote
Vote
Vote
Because only people who don't 'CURR'
bother with things like that.
Right?

Just Because.

I finally got my copy of
Waiting For Forever.
So...
I can't wait to see Tom.
And that's what I am going to do right now!

This post is brought to you by the letter *T*

T for Tom
LOVE HIM.

T for Truth.
Robert wants to be with Kristen.

T for Only Time will Tell.

Where will Rob and Kristen turn up.
We already know it will be

TOGETHER!

Bye for now

MSCL, checked out the recipes and am so impressed by the annies-eats website. There are some super yummy recipes there! The peanut butter pretzel recipe, from the other site, looks delicious and super easy.
Thank you! : )

FREDDIE - I know! It is a terrible movie and he knows it. I think he just wanted to watch something silly and knew our boys would laugh at it with him.

Night Groovie, sweet dreams to you too! Enjoy your Dr. Pepper fix. Somehow, I never got used to that taste, which is huge down here in the Lone Star. To me it is like drinking perfume.

Freddie said...

dottie - I'm not sure if they intended that movie to be a comedy or not, but it sure is. Silly is a good word for it.

MySoCalledLife said...

Night Groovie - enjoy your shopping trip.

Fio - I work in IT (information technology) as a Business Analyst and it's one of those jobs that is hard to describe. I've been doing it for years and to this day my mom still doesn't know what I do. When I describe it to her, she immediately zones out and says "Ohhh! Thats nice!" to shut me up.

I'll send lots of good luck prayers and positive thoughts your way. Although, you seem like an incredibly smart lady and I think you'll do amazingly well ;)

I'm curios though - how do you manage to get by on so little sleep?

Freddie said...

Fio - it is beautiful. You are very talented.

Have a good night and talk to you soon.

Fiorels said...

MSCL- it looks interesting..
Usually the jobs you can't really describe are the best ones cause they are without target.
it's not like you say "oh i'm a doctor/lawyer/teacher.."
It really amazes me actually :)

and thanks for your kind words..
about sleep.. I come at some point where the most I don't sleep the earliest I wake up..
it's really strange actually..

olivia said...

Night Fio. Have a good restful sleep.
What a very talented artist you are! The drawing is beautifully done.

Good night y'all. I am off to read for a while.

Dottie said...

Freddie it was a comedy here!

It's getting late where I am. Hope to chat more tomorrow.

G'night Rhonda!

I'm off to bed myself. Again, happy Mother's day tomorrow to everyone.

Sweet dreams...

The First Lady In My Life (Was You)

Paul Todd:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tm4INLxQgY

From sleepless nights and rocking chairs
Your smiling face was always there

From little trucks and building blocks
You held my hand while I learned to walk

You were my best friend, my inspiration
The one I looked up to
Hey, Mom...The first lady in my life was you

There were bedtime snacks and nursery rhymes
For goodnight prayers, there was always time

You taught me to live by the golden rule
Made sure I got to Sunday School

You disciplined with Love my whole life through
A gentle touch was all I ever knew
Hey, Mom...the first lady in my life was you

Then later on, came sports and games
You'd sit in the stands and call my name

And win or loose, you'd smile and say
'Son I'm proud of you everything's OK

You were the one, I'd always turn to
When times were sad and blue

Hey, Mom...the first lady in my life was you

There's so many things to say thank you for
Birthdays, camping and so much more

The little things that mean so much
Like laundry done with a loving touch

And who could forget, three meals a day
Carpools, scouts and PTA's

Hey, Mom...the first lady in my life was you

So here we are today, now I'm finally grown
About to take a wife, and start a family of my own

Everything I am, I owe to you
You molded me so carefully and you saw me through

It's hard to tell you how I feel without a lot of mush
But I must tell you true

Hey, Mom, I'm so glad
The first lady in my life was you

Thank you/ptmozart

When I was a boy my mother often said to me
Get married boy and see
How happy you will be

I have looked all over, but no girlie can I find
Who seems to be just like the little girl I have in mind

I will have to look around
Until the right one I have found

I want a girl
Just like the girl who married Dear old Dad

She was a pearl
And the only girl that Daddy ever had

A real old fashioned girl with heart so true
One who loves nobody else but you

Oh, I want a girl
Just like the girl that married Dear old Dad

My Mother

The Chipettes:

It's hard to remember
A summer or winter
When she hasn't been there for me

A friend and companion
I can always depend on
My mother...that's who I (mean)

I've taken for granted
The seeds that she's planted
She's always behind everything

A teacher, a seeker
A (both arms outreacher)
My mother, that's who I (mean)

If I could slow down
The Hands of time
Keep things the way they are

If she said so, I would give her the world
If I could, I would

My love and my laughter
From here ever after
Is all that she says that she needs

A friend and companion
I could always depend on

My mother, that's who I (mean)
That's who I (mean)

When I read WFE, I'd visualized Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway or some other actress who physically resembled brown haired, 20 year old Marlena for the role. It's hard to reconcile that image with a 35 year old blonde. The cdemistry was dubious from the start because it's difficult to connect with something that's visually off. Just my personal opinion. If Kristen was 35 trying to pull off 18 year old Bella, I seriously doubt that the chemistry would be that passionate and poignant.

Hey Angelica, 30 and Liza (if you're still here).

Just poking my head in. I'm glad you enjoyed WFE. I absolutely loved the scene where Rob as Jacob walks up to the giraffe and says "hello ma'am" (of something to that effect). The smile on his face was heavenly. You could see how much he loved being with the animals.

30 - I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day and Angelica and Liza, I hope you had a great Sunday.

Hi! Roselanders!

Happy to hear everyone has been having a wonderful Mother's Day and getting to see WFE.

DK the tunes have been truly amazing! Miss you.

Dottie hope the move went well. We are practically neighbors now.

Gwen got my hair done yesterday. Darkened it a little.

Smitty glad to hear you and a friend are doing well and safe.

Fiorels haven't talked to you, but you are very talented and artistic. Good luck on your exams.

As, I have stated before, I truly enjoy the comments from everyone posting here.

My son got his GED diploma this week. (Best gift for Mother's Day)
He struggled throughout his entire time in school and quit last year. I can still hear the doctor's telling me he would be 2 years behind his peers till he was an adult due to being born prematurely at 2lbs 8oz. It has been a struggle (ADD) but he is now 6ft 3in and 180lbs, with only a heart murmur remaining. He didn't even study for the test and passed in the 95 percentile. I just hope he can find a career he enjoys.

Shout out to Olivia and 30! Appreciate you thinking about me.

On vacation this week, so I want to get the WFF dvd and check it out.

Thank you Rose for all that you do. Roseland is the best!

Hiya,

Sorry 30 and Angelica I wasn't being rude last night I wrote that post just before going to bed :)

I really did love the film, the way Smitty described it was spot on, it was just so beautiful. The whole thing even when they were setting up the circus was mesmerising.

Tai was amazing and the scenes where she was abused were heartbreaking. Reese did a fantastic job with her some of those scenes must have been so scary.

Christoph was brilliant, a mix of a scary and at the same time pathetic man, just how he was in the book.

I would have liked more of Hal Holbrook, I thought he was perfect and loved his scenes.

Last but not least Rob....I thought he was brilliant. The way he portrayed Jacob was exactly how I had imagined, shy and grieving but strong when he needed to be. He was so handsome in this film but that was secondary to the person Jacob was. He played it so well that anyone would have fallen for him no matter what he looked like.

Sorry for the essay! all in all I came out feeling so proud of Rob, which is ridiculous as I don't know him, but thats what I felt.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Freddie, I agree, the tiny scene with the giraffe was magical and precious.

Have a lovely Monday y'all.

Rose - I forgot to say how gorgeous the banner is!

Hello, Roseland!!

Also, went see WFE yesterday and thought it was absolutely fantastic. I really felt transported back to the 1930's. A very very beautiful movie that met my every expectation.

I'm also proud of Rob. He was truly wonderful in this movie, he embodied that role. And, I agree with Rose, Rob 'does so much with just his face', he just has such an expressive face and he truly transmited all the emotions beautifully and God, the camera certainly loves Rob...he is absolutely deliciouly gorgoeus.

Hal Holbrook was wonderful too as older Jacob, Christoph Waltz was brilliant as August and Reese thought she look beautifl and was very good as Marlena. And Tai is amazing...I want to take her home with me.

Absolutely love the new banner, Rose.

Wish everyone a happy Monday.

Take care.
