I'm going to write about Breaking Dawn 2.
I assume most everyone has seen it by now since I seem
to be the last person on planet Earth to have seen it.
But alas, I must warn for spoilers in this post.
Even though if you have read the book
You pretty much know how it ends.
But.
I'm trying to be nice here.
It only happens every so often.
I kept my ticket stubs for all the Twilight movies I saw.
I'm kinda a sentimental pack-rat that way.
I remembered that I saw Twilight 5 times.
I was obsessed at that stage of this journey.
I probably would have seen it more if it wasn't such a busy
time of the year.
I didn't remember seeing New Moon 3 times...
Eclipse twice.
Geez.
And Breaking Dawn... once.
And (so far) Breaking Dawn 2 once.

Yes.
I'm a REAL fan of Rob and Kristen.
I see their movies OUTSIDE of Twilight.
I see them more than just Edward and Bella.
Bel Ami, Welcome to the Rileys, Cosmopolis were never shown in Wisconsin..
Or I would have stubs for those as well.
(I also own most of Rob and Kristen's movies on DVD)
Anyway.
This is one of the few movie posters for BD2 that I actually like.
It is very reminiscent of this...
Which remains my favorite Edward.
Still.
OK.
I loved Breaking Dawn 2.
The things I loved most?
1. Vampire Bella
(and Edward not being able to keep his hands off
of vampire Bella.)
I loved strong, fierce, protective Bella.
I loved that she dressed better. (ha)
I loved that she could finally be the one
who saves the people she loves.
And MY GOD
Was Kristen fucking GORGEOUS as a vampire?
Oh yeah...
Rosalie is supposed to be the most beautiful vampire EVER?
Nope.
Not even CLOSE.
2. Aro's laugh.
I think that says it all.
3. Edward at the piano...
It's just a shame it took 3 movies to get back here.
4. Charlie Swan.
OK.
Let me explain...
These past couple of days
I've had to endure all this chitchat about BD2.
I didn't necessarily get 'spoiled' with what I saw
(I kept my twitter presence pretty low)
And again... having read the book
I kinda had an inkling as to how it would end.
So the 'twist' didn't really upset me
(although it was weird to see beloved characters
doing their best Marie Antoinette impersonation.)
And the crying?
Not really.
Me and my gf kinda sat there in the theater
after it was all over...
staying at the screen...
and kinda saying
"Where's the crying?"
We were both kinda perplexed.
I kept reading about all these endless tears...
And not nary a one flowed down my cheek.
Was I a heartless bitch?
(shut up)
Not if both of us were on the same page.
But I will tell you what does make me sappy.
And that's Charlie Swan.
He's done it in every movie.
Guaranteed.

And Breaking Dawn 2?
Charlie is just grateful to have Bella in his life.
No matter what.
And that was the closest to crying I came to during this movie.
Charlie.
He's always connected somehow.
All my best crying moments...
(Outside of "Flightless Bird" being played during the wedding...
which completely destroyed me)
Have been with Charlie.
5. Jacob was finally relaxed and pretty damn funny.
Hard to do while imprinting on a baby, right?
But Taylor pulls it off.
6. The collage at the end...
When Bella opens her thoughts for Edward.
It was a nice touch...
But still could have been so much more.
There were a few things I didn't care for..
Not Mackenzie Foy
I think she is a gorgeous little girl
and was a perfect choice to play Rob and Kristen's daughter.
It was just the creepy CGI thing where they put her
face on an infant... a toddler...
and even an adult.
Can we say creepy?
And completely unnecessary.
It looked fake.
And thus was creepy.
And all the other vampires...
I just didn't care... you know?
Edward. Bella.
The Cullens.
That's about it when it comes to vampires.
Oh wait.
One of the other vampires I did like.
Lee Pace.
Excellent.
Brilliant.
But other than that...
I enjoyed the movie a lot.
I loved it.
But I have to admit...
Twilight remains my favorite.
Always.
Forever.
Final thoughts.
Oh the angst this picture brought!
First there were at least 1/2 dozen sightings of Rob and Kristen
in some out of the way market...
And lo and behold mateys
A pic and it DID happen!
I really cannot tell you how much laughter was made over this.
SO MUCH!
Because... instead of just accepting what is right in front of them...
Ninnies went thru their usual stages of grief.
1. Denial
"The pic is old!"
"The pic is photo shopped!"
2. Anger.
"I don't care what that pussy does anymore!"
"They deserve each other!"
3. Bargaining.
"They just stopped off to get food for everyone!"
"They are having a cast/crew party"
"They have to stay together to promote the DVD!"
4. Depression.
"It doesn't matter anymore"
"I'm only here for Rob's career!"
5. Acceptance.
Well.
They haven't reached this stage yet.
And I'm pretty sure they never will.
Thing is...
The picture is just what it appears.
Rob and Kristen.
Together.
Why?
Because that is what they want.
It's what they always want.
It's just how it is.

Hasn't Kelly always made an ass out of herself? Don't get me wrong, I'm from the era who loved Ozzy, but HE always made an ass out of himself, I vividly remember him being banned from Texas for peeing on the Alamo. I like Ozzy, but as a Texan who had relatives who fought for Texas independence I have a slight problem with that. Kelly is doing the same thing her dad did, she's creating controversy to keep her name in the news, her hatred of Christina has been going on forever.
If she's attacking Kristen, it's because she sees an opportunity to make an even bigger splash across all the tabloids. Attention seeking.
I agree that Jack turned out to be the most normal and Aimee is the smartest for never doing the public thing all together.

@Kami - Kelly has had so many issues and I found it funny that she is doing the fashion police with all the body image issues she has been plagued with - not a good look for someone with so many insecurities because all they do is tear someone else down. Ozzy has always been crazy but that shit with making him get up at Ozfest attempting to sing his songs is just sad - there has always been a lot of animosity towards Sharon with a lot of the stuff she has done or encouraged him to do. I guess the tour was Kelly's dating pool though - yeah she is really silly with the stone throwing with her past alone. Sharon even went on TV and said she was glad she ruined Ozzy's 1st marriage because it turned out well for her
@Pam - Yeah Aimee was the smart one refusing to participate in that dog and pony show

just finished watching TWILIGHT and NEW MOON, i hadnt watched new moon since theatre even when i got the dvd i'd always watched after italy scene only so it really felt new again but the best part is how evident it is the soundtrack of these 2 films are the bomb crazy good i love all the songs , next ECLIPSE .... and tomorrow breaking dawn part1 before heading to the theatre to see part2! (i'm loving this trip down nostalgia/memory lane)
also how crazy is it that robert went from gorgeous in twilight to ridiculously hot and gorgeous in new moon
I am laughing so hard right now - seriously 1 tweet can cause almost as much humor and drama as the armpit loving. Someone said they saw them looking for Zig Zags - I didn't realize that they were a US thing but they are rolling papers - usually come in a orange or white little thing. Anywho - so the haters took to twitter saying Zig Zags is a gay bar because Rob is allergic to weed. I cannot even wrap my head around this at all. Ok so you think 2 people would go hang at a gay bar with the rumors in the past to declare they are gay instead of admitting they smoke weed. I am still trying to figure out how the hell they are his fans and how something as simple as rolling papers turned into being gay. Mind you this is brought to you by the Denver in the UK people. I just had to share because this is really amusing to me in the way that I still get amused by peoples stupidity, agendas, and blatant homophobic attitude. I still wonder if these people actually believe what they say, please someone give me a little faith that they can't be that stupid.

Regarding the Zig Zags ... I'm very skeptical of that tweet, only because I would be very surprised if they went out "openly" to purchase rolling papers. I mean they can hire anyone they want to for such a thing. THEN AGAIN, it sort of sounds like something Rob would just to stir up some crap. Who knows, perhaps he and Sir Paul had a conversation about this exact thing AND really good laugh. All while Kristen was sleeping, LOL.

@Liz - funny thing is - it doesn't even matter if the tweet was true - the reaction was hilarious. The things people come up with kill me and the digging someone had to come up with to spin it JFC. PAMH -- Talking about the KO and "that awful show" the only person on the whole channel that I like is Guiliana Rancic. She's too classy to be doing the Fashion Police, I think.
@RC - someone tweeted her and she clarified - they asked her where to get some. Fake or not the fact that there are hundred of tweets since last night cracks me up. I mean they were fighting over the plants (sorry but even that is really funny because I guess people didn't get what the tabloids were trying to allude to). I fell on the floor when I saw someone say - but he is allergic to it - he said so in an interview. LOL he says he is allergic to a lot of stuff in interviews - Kimmel even alluded to this since no one ever knows what it is true or not - I think Rob and Kristen are freaking hilarious and honestly incredibly smart.
Liz - isn't that an E! show? I find it so funny how they seem to be the one so overly invested with them - Ted, Ken Baker all of them - seems almost vindictive - not really sure why either

GINGER -- Regarding the E! Network... unfortunately I try to watch ALL of those type of shows just so I can know who's saying what about "our kids". I believe that CNN Showbiz is actually more invested in them and I used to like that host (Hammer) but he really seems to keep saying the word "affair" and it really ticks me off.
Lies, lies, lies, yea, R & K are EXTREMELY intelligent people and from what I've heard (like I know, right?) he's very detail-oriented regarding their safety and their sneaking around. Apparently he plans out everything which is totally different to what he says in interviews where he always says he never plans anything.
I listened to the Kimmel video and what he says about Rob makes perfect sense. Rob almost admitted it to that woman on Today where he said he would just talk about silly stuff instead of "real life". Jimmy K. sounded respectful and understanding of Rob & Kristen's crazy lifestyle, talking about how they were stuck there at the show for about 2 hours. I imagine Rob was signing autographs while she was waiting in the car.

@Liz - OK said the were fighting over the plants - they wouldn't fight over a fern - they were insinuating they have happy plants and who was getting custody. I am sorry - it is so funny. I know some people still freak out - I am more of the too each of their own kinda person what fits for me doesn't have to fit for you so I don't really have a whole lot of shock towards any of this. I am forever amused at all the judgement the fans throw - anyone who thinks this fandom is kids needs to pull back and strap on glasses. Middle aged women have some sharp ass claws and tunnel vision.

Usually it's freezing for the parade but this year it was just a perfect day.
Thursday and Friday we won the weather lottery. Yesterday, today and the rest of the week cold and maybe some snow on Tuesday.

A Google search on them will tell you more than anyone needs to know and show the hypocrisy of them opening their mouths and speaking at all!
I see that BD2 is still raking it in at the box office both domestically and internationally......A great way to end.

When I seen the tweets last night on Robsten Dreams of the sightings someone in the comments said they were looking for zig zags so obviously it was for weed then someone argued back they could be smoking herbal cigs which in turn someone then says it's a jewelry store....ok how many more cracked up reasons can they come up with ? There grown adults they can buy whatever they want. But I do find it hard to believe R&K would tell anyone what there looking for... unless Rob wanted to test if something he would say would get printed :)

@Pam - so funny. Sorry but it is just so funny - I think we all know what zig zags are for LOL - I think they are hard to find too. I know 7-11 used to sell them but they don't anymore. If the tweet is true then they probably thought the person was cool and wouldn't tweet or maybe they were screwing with them. Smoking weed is not uncommon - legal here now so it will be no different then someone buying smokes. So many soap boxes out on that little old tweet though and some many creative stores to try to change it to. Pretty sure they could get directions from their phones if it was an actual store name.

I have followed the " talk" about the Osbournes and Joan Rivers. They are just doing their job, such as it is. I DO REMEMBER in case some have forgotten, that Joan Rivers gave Kristen a top review for her red dress with the safety pins that she wore to an awards show last year....I loved that dress, K can wear rock chic like NO OTHER...so my vote is don't bash them...one can find fault with anybody...it's a job...such as it is....lol
My son and I went to see Lincoln....very good...I love history so it is right up my alley and by the time I was 4 I knew two things very well...I was a sinner and I was a rebel!!!!! I have lived up to that over the years...lol
Then I went to the funeral home and stood in line for an hour to pay my respects to one of the nurses I work with and her family...on the morning of Thansgiving at approximately 8:30 am my dear nurse friends husband passed out in the bathroom and coded. they got him to the hospital and he was successfully resuscitated however he was brain dead and the life support was cut off at 5:30 EST on Friday...so...

@Super - Joan Kelly & whomever else they choose can talk about whatever item of clothing they want. The problem is what they said before & after was completely vile & disgusting & had nothing to do with the clothes. They crossed several lines including that bit about the President being assassinated.

@Super that really sucks - it is hard to have people pass but more so during the holidays. I shared this with DK but my brother had Marfan syndrome like Lincoln. When I was pregnant I had to tell the DR.'s about him since women are the carriers and my Dr. was fascinated by Lincoln so she was actually aware of it although not many are since it is so rare and most people with it don't live past 35 (the age has increased due to leaps and bounds on heart surgeries). We were lucky to have had my brother live until 43 - he passed the day after last Christmas due to a fall and the blood thinners he had to take after having his aorta valve replaced.
@Super - yeah I don't care what they say about how anyone is dressed - different strokes for different folks - I took issue with her comment that her dress was not appropriate for a home wrecker comment. That is where she crossed the line into opening herself up to get the mud slung back.
GINGER -- I didn't see the show Friday night but I definitely agree with you that the comment was nasty and she deserves whatever backlash she got.

Super sorry bout your friend's husband and I completely agree with you about Joan Rivers and Kelly they get paid to be snarky, the snarkier they are the more money they make. I also don't think you're petty thinking pot isn't worth it, I agree. I guess I'm old fashioned, probbly very uncool, but I see nothing sexy or exciting about drug use...at all. I guess I'm being petty now. Anyway, I hope you feel better, sorry about your loss.
@Liz - he had my SIL and my 7 & 20 yr old niece's. I had to make the decision to take him off life support because my mom couldn't do it and the SIL wanted it done by us. His oldest daughter, my oldest daughter, mom, sisters,SIL, and myself were there when he passed (my dad lives in FL so he couldn't be there although I had to call him when I got to the hospital). We got through the 1st hurdle - his birthday was on fathers day this year and that was one of the hardest calls I have ever made to my dad. I feel bad for my mom/dad more than anyone because we are not meant to bury our children so I am sure Christmas will be somber this year but like I told them - he is with us in spirit and that you just never let go of that. He brought many smiles and good times so we try to remember those.

Sorry about your brother. I've known several people with it and one of the girls I grew up with had it and her aorta started to split in her early twenties but it was repaired and she is still living today...married and had several children.
To ALL of ROSELAND I would like to offer my condolences to any family member, spouse, coworker, or friends that you may be missing this holiday season...HUGS

@Super - same happened to him - he had the metal value placed in his early 30's but he hit his head and the thinners prevented him to clot so died from a brain bleed.
@Karen - :) I coped with getting a huge leg tattoo - one of my sisters has the identical one. We got a feather that starts at our ankle and the top of the feather fray's into birds that fly around our leg to our knee.
@ginger - sounds pretty cool! Its not easy some days. My SIL died at 45 10 years ago and there are some days.....worst for my MIL, her only daughter and bff. So we all do cope in our own ways! Will be thinking of you and your family.

SUPER -- I am sorry about your friend's loss, never easy but holidays are worse.
GINGER -- I'm sure that life-support decision for your brother was difficult. PLEASE, spread the word to everyone that no matter how old you are, you need a Healthcare Power of Attorney and a Living Will. That way, the family doesn't have to make the decision as the patient has already made it. I believe you can get these online for most states or most hospitals will provide it for free but probably only if you're going in for surgery, etc.

Your tattoo sounds interesting, I'm the odd ball in my family because I don't have any. My hubby has upper right arm sleeved with all kinds of skulls, my name on his shoulder blade, an flames on one calf and his newest is our cat's paw print on his arm above his wrist made from a stamp from the vet when we had to have her put down a couple years ago. My son has an Avenged Sevenfold Death Bat symbol, in honor of their drummer who passed away, on his inner arm ( which kept him from getting a job last year at our McDonalds..go figure ) my Niece and SIL both have 4. They all keep asking me when I'm getting one.
@Pam - you can see it in my picture - well part of it. I have a flower on my other ankle, purple lilies going down my back and the dreaded tattoo on my chest with a guys name (I left it as a lesson of being a complete idiot). I will be getting another when my son turns 18 since we are getting one together. I think I am getting a fairy this time but I get them all in places that can be covered although everyone has seen them and I have been lucky to not have any issues at work with them.

I was at the grocery store tonight and was just pissed off after checking out. I have to give my 2 cents on the KO statements. I don't care who it is or what their job is, I am so utterly disgusted with the constant attacks on Kristen Stewart. It is demeaning and cruel.
I have a whole new outlook on the sensationalized garbage printed and put on TV or online. There may be people I don't care for but I don't even want to see them exploited. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. It is just wrong on every level. And because I care about this couple,I just wish this barrage of bullshit would stop. OK, done with the rant.

@Birdie - I couldn't agree more - it doesn't hurt them to not say anything if they don't have anything nice to say at. This whole thing has put a perspective on how I look at a lot of things. It is their choice who they want to be with and how they want to live - people don't like others to tell them how to live day to day yet they want to in put theirs in others. The world is pretty cold as it is - if people put in an effort to be nicer and say nicer things then maybe people would not deem it acceptable to be wretched. Rob and Kristen seem to just want to live their lives and be a normal couple - I don't see how that is harming anyone nor do I see why so many people have to hate that.
Pretty soon, we'll start another day, with new chances to choose better ways to be, you and me, all of us. That's always an inspiration for humanity.

The pain / sadness never really goes away but we are left with beautiful memories of a life lived.

so i was reading “strictly robsten” and this fan account of R&K while in flight from london to NYC.
while it is very sweet and makes your heart melt with kristen sleeping propped on rob while he watched a movie and rob waking up kristen with sweet kisses whispering “baby wake up, we’ve arrived. wake up angel” i just find it hard to believe.
first, how did the fan hear it if it was being whispered … and …
i know BA 777s have business class seats that are side by side but neighboring pods have glass dividers.
anyone trying to eavesdrop would really be obvious & rude.
and it’s even more difficult in first class seats since they’re spaced even further apart in individual pods.

Ginger, I'm sorry about your brother, I know how horrible that is. You're right a parent should never have to bury their child. My Dad buried one child, my Grandmother both of her's they were never the same again.
You're right that as women we shouldn't tear each other down. Unfortunately a LOT of people in this world seem to forget that, I know I'm guilty of it myself.
I say that because as I was reading that statement I had a sick realization that whenever someone made a comment about how Kelly Osbourne had lost a lot of weight but was still fat, I laughed, and while I will admit that she is a catty snot, her weight has nothing to do with her attitude. There are super skinny people in the world who are first class bitches..I'm sure like me, a million images of people who fit that bill popped into your heads.
I am by NO MEANS SUPPORTING Kelly Osbourne OR Joan Rivers, who revolts me....and I seriously doubt that anyone else was either. I'm absolutely certain of that. The statements were made in the same vein as "If you lie down with dogs you get up with fleas".
Which basically translates into... If you walk into a biker bar and scream out "Bikers suck" be prepared to face the consequences. If you walk into a church and shout profanity about the congregations religion be prepared to face the consequences. IF watch or read anything said by Kelly Osbourne and Joan Rivers be prepared to be pissed.
Avoid those places that have people who you personally find revolting...I haven't watched Fashion Police in years because I detest Joan Rivers. I don't see her, I don't get angry.

Kami that's shattered I did with magazines, they really missed me off with the way they circle people's bad bit. One week it was to fat next week too skinny. I used to get mad about it and rant and rave. Then I just decided to stop reading the rubbish and the problem went away for me, I no longer wasted my energy ranting about them. It didn't make them stop but I just don't know about it anymore :)

@Kami - I agree and I even took it a step further - I think with everything that she has battled including her weight and all her issues that she put out for the world to see she would be one of the ones to hold back and refrain from judgement. I have stopped myself from making a comment on someones weight more than once and stopped because that plagues women more than anything. It is sad that people think they have to conform to feel pretty or judge others as pretty.
@PL - I am not in the least bit passive aggressive so I will be straight up with you. We were discussing a tweet that the person who said it said herself it was the smoking kind. ONCE AGAIN - if the tweet is true because who knows if it is.

@Kami - I got the gist of exactly what was being said because I even know what I said to trigger it - got to say it is funny and honestly if you all don't like me or what I have to say - your life your choices - we all have them - my life is not a popularity contest and I am cool with it either way. Didn't appreciate the dig on my intelligence but hey at least I know where I stand with certain people - others I knew from day one.

They are finally back in LA
LA must just breed a certain type of pap. I get they all suck but they are sorta hand in hand with celebrity. Their home, them trying to eat, children, following them while they try to get away are too much for me but those assholes just took it to another level while Rob and Kris were leaving LAX. Physically preventing someone from getting into the car and the shit they said - no other place or there pap's have been like that just LA. It makes me sad - I don't care if you don't like Kristen she is still a human being and Rob literally looks like he is doing every thing he can not to hit one of them. I honestly think they are just there to provoke someone into hitting them so they can sue and nothing more.
