So do I. Since the new Dior cache pics and info came out late last night....I can imagine plenty of hilarity and aggravation today from the pretentious comments that we will be forced to suffer through to enjoy these pics in our own respectful way.

The essential lavender oil you can get at Whole Foods or any specialty store that sells natural supplements... Just apply a drop or two by your nostrils and take some some deep breaths
Tnese are the tricks that have worked best for me over the years
Milk, Cherry juice...both have tryptophan in them which induces sleep.
What I currently do and it works like a charm is a product called Advance Sleep Gummies...you can Google it...just take 2 right before bed and you are set and they taste really good......all natural..I am very impressed with how well that works and I have taken many different things over the years

I make a fruit smoothie every afternoon. It contains banana, cherries, blueberries, strawberries, pomegranate juice and pineapple. Do frozen or fresh cherries contain the same amount of tryptophan as cherry juice. I know sometimes some fruits become more potent when juiced or fermented, or like tomatoes, when canned. I just wondered if it would be helpful to eat it in the evening instead after my run?

Forgot to say thank you for the info. I have another question. My MIL doctor told her to take an allergy pill at night for sleep. I take an allergy pill when needed and it does make me drowsy. I have taken them for sleep purposes occasionally. The drawbacks are I feel hungover in the morning and it Drys me out. I worry about my MIL doing this long-term. Do you know of any long term side effects of this method?

About the cherries...I don't know the answer about their various forms. Cherries have melatonin in addition to tryptophan so sometimes I will take a small glass of milk and add cherry juice ...it actually tastes good in milk...lol...
Anyhow, it's a great little sleeping aid and the fruit smoothies are great and cherries will definitely help you with muscle recovery after exercise
I am very very much against chronic use of products such as Tylenol PM ...for an occasional restless night it's fine. But years of chronic usage can cause liver problems from the Tylenol...Tylenol causes more cirrhosis than all of the other causes combined...plus the antihistamines can cause changes in the brain predisposing some individuals to Alzheimer's.

I got to plan a vacation for me and my nephews. We get in the car point it in a direction and drive for a day. Stopping at weird tourist attractions along the way. We spend the night and the next day where we stop. Get up and do it again. On the fifth day we head home. Road trip. They are ages 14, 15, and 17. I have had them since they were in single digits. We love doing this and we see things we never knew about.
TracyB - my high school just had ours. Thirty six years since I saw most of them. Have a great time at your reunion. I know you will rock it!!!

Is it me or does it feel like a lazy Sunday. I can't seem to get much done. lol
Well hello everyone! Hey Elizabeth and Arleen :-) How has everyone's weekend been? Mine has been great. Did mani /pedi yesterday. Daughter's baby shower and relaxing evening. You r right Elizabeth this is a lazy Sunday. :-)
Elizabeth- When I was at church today. One of the sister in my church. She was telling us about her niece is went missing I don't know how long. She is 15 years old same age as my daughter. Her mom is in Iraq in a service. Her dad I don't know abandon her or something. I don't if she runaway or just went missing. All we know is we don't know who Kidnap her or something. One of my others friends are making flyers. Once I get one. I will print it out. But all I am asking is to pray for the 15 year old hope she go home to her family and Safe. That is all I am asking.
Arleen I hope she comes home or they find her soon. I'll pray for her.
vernistene- Thanks. Imagine if it was our kids if they went missing. I could feel what her family go thru.

Just got home from reunion a while ago and must say I HAD A BLAST! so glad I didn't skip. Saw old friends and hubs even met a guy who he talked to all night so I got to roam the room and visit without worrying if he was bored lol.

Been a good weekend for all with the exception of Arleen's friend. I truly hope she comes home safe. The most I cleaned today was my purse. I cleaned it out. lol lol The rest of the day was spent writing, talking back and forth with work and browsing the internet. You all have a great evening now, You hear? lol lol No buts.......
Dear Arleen, this is sad. I pray she is found safe and well. She will be in my prayers and thoughts. Please let us know how thing are progressing.
Tracy and Vernistene, miss you guys yesterday. Its almost 10 PM in my neck of the woods and I still feel so meh. Seriously, I don't even feel like watching True Blood. It is set on DVR for tomorrow. Goes to show you my true love and admiration for Rob and Kristen; I always find the time. lol!!!!!

My hubby and I went to see The Conjuring last night so if your a scary movie fan I recommend watching it. Mackenzie and all the other girls were very good. I'm a hard to please horror fan but I came away pleasantly surprised.
I hope RK get to work hassle free some this week.
It's back to heavy rain and thunderstorms here today but the good side is cooler temperatures this week.
