Rob and Kristen- I See LONDON!

This is an ACTUAL picture of me!

Sheesh.
So I write a little bit about Rabies
and people start...
Well...
acting like they have rabies.

Yeah, OK...
I can admit my post yesterday was a bit harsh...
maybe.
But all it really is ...
and write this down because I'm sick of repeating it...

JUST MY OPINION.

That's all it is.
I get up in the morning...
(if I'm lucky)
I do my wife/mom things...
(Yes, I'm married with kids! The HORROR!)
I make a cup of tea.
(Can't stand coffee and I need my caffeine.)
Put my laptop on my... lap.
Flip it open
(OK, is this as thrilling to read as it is to write?)
I proceed to read thru the zillions of emails that I received since
the last time I opened my email account.
I proceed to Twitter and bask in the glow of incredibly
hilarious tweets and DMs (private messages, if you will)
And then...
I usually open up the ol' blog and start typing away
about that which I have just read about.
No, I don't go haunting Anti-Kristen/Rob sites.
I don't read the AT message boards unless someone sends me stuff.
I just give my opinion about what I have read that morning.
Simple.
I don't understand why some people get themselves in a tizzy
over my opinion of current Rob/Kristen events.
Unless of course...
They just don't want to 'read' what I have to say
which brings us back to why they read my blog in the first place.
Why DO you?

On to bigger and far more interesting things.

I don't want to see this kind of picture this week...

I really don't want to see some creepy stalker picture of Rob and Kristen.
I don't.
In fact...
Although I would be willing to bet my first born son that
Rob and Kristen are together in London...
(Don't get your panties in a bunch about my son...
I wouldn't REALLY bet with him.
Unless he was being really really annoying...
which he seems to aspire to lately.)

Shit...where the hell was I?

Oh yeah.

I don't want to see creepy pics of Rob/Kristen.
And I will take it one step further and hope
we don't get ANY pics of them out and about in the UK
until maybe the very last day they are there...
or maybe after they have already left.
That way maybe they can have some peace and quiet
and just enjoy their holidays.
And each other.
Yes.
I said it.
Kristen and Robert.
Together.

"I don't know if this is the actual reason why, but we have gotten better at hiding over the last year."-Rob

"That's totally the reason," Stewart concurs. "They just make up a story to go along with the pictures. If they never get the picture, there’s no story. We are just good hiders now."

They only have like a week to spend in London...
Rob has to catch up and spend time with his family and friends...
They don't need to be chased and harassed.

Is Kristen in London with Robert?
I believe it is so.
Maybe we will see them when they land back in Baton Rouge.
Now THAT would be a great picture.

I don't know who made this... but... BWAHAHAHAHA!

I see Rob...
I see Kristen...

But where the HELL is Tom?
(OK, I do spot him in the picture...)
See...
I blame Robert for this.
I was only vaguely aware of Thomas before...
And now I'm like kinda intoxicated with him.
It makes me feel a bit giddy and bubbly.
And I'm not even sure how one feels bubbly...
and am I even spelling that right?
Cuz right now 'bubbly' looks pretty damn silly.
Anyway.

Seriously... is that not pretty fucking gorgeous?

I figure since people are always all bent out of shape
whenever Rob and Kristen go all ninja...
I thought maybe we should all be wondering where the hell Tom is.

Yeah.
I'm pretty sure he's in London, too.
Why, you ask?
(why would you ask?)
Tom lives there.
His family is there.
Robert is there.
Kristen is there.
He loves his family
and Rob
and Kristen.
Where else is he going to be?

So...
When was the last time we actually saw a picture of Thomas?
When???

Do you think Tom is buying green plaid boxers?

I don't know about you...
But just seeing a picture of Tom makes me smile.
And when you see a picture of Rob with Tom...
Well...
Rob is usually smiling too!
See how perfect it all is?

Thomas... where are you?
I keep expecting to see you in some shitty phone pic
that someone can't wait to 'share' with the world...
Showing you laughing and drinking pints of beer
in some obscure pub that only you and Rob (and Kristen)
would even venture into.

Just hanging out with the same t-shirt/necklace. The red plaid. And that godforsaken hat.

This is kinda what I picture going on in London.
 A lot.
(Do I even have to add Kristen here?
We all KNOW she is there with him)

Man... I am a bitch.
Sorry.
Or not.
I'm just a rambling Rose today.

Maybe I'm just highly Robert Pattinson Intoxicated.
It happens.
Frequently.
I would say...
LEVEL 10 INTOXICATION

On a level from 1-10...
10 being 'death' by Robert.

Wait. Is that the same t-shirt/necklace combo? Is that like 3 separate pictures?

BWAHAHAHAHAHA.
1. Nice face by Tom here.

2. Yes. It IS the same tshirt/necklace
(and let us not forget the red plaid)
What the hell IS that necklace anyway...
It looks like a record or something.
Should we make it super secret significant??
Let's!

Robsten Decoder Ring.

Number 4
Letter T

3m1x06lQ8L2d

Pretty X 2 = WIN!

So I've rambled enough, haven't I?
Did I offend you in some way?
I would say 'sorry'
But I'm not.
Because if you were upset by anything I said in my post...
Then you really shouldn't be here.

P.S. Dear Mr. Sturridge...
I'm only joking about the red plaid and hat...
Sorta.
You look charming in it... really.
Don't ever change.
(And I mean that lit-trelly)

This post is brought to you by the letter *H*

H for hiding.
I'm glad you all have gotten so good at it...
Even though I miss your faces.
Enjoy your time in London!

Bye for now.

Ok I saw where Ohedward came back and was spouting her "I KNOW EVERYTHING" attitude and I'd like to set her straight.

O you said that kissing on the both cheeks is a "Continental" European thing to do..well I'd like to point out that England is NOT on the European continent...ENGLAND is an Island..England, Scotland, Wales..all an Island...oh and so is Ireland. England has been very proud over the many many centuries that it is distincly UNCONTINENTAL..so give it a fucking break already. And get your facts straight.

As for Richard Branson..ok so he kisses people on both cheeks.. but he is NOT all Britians..I met a co-worker of my husband's once who is from Costa Rica, he went to shake my hand and somehow...still not sure how..he ended up grabbing my boob..now should I think ALL Costa Ricans grab boobs to say hello?

Also as for the "Rob" story...explain this to me...Rob has proven, just like Kristen has, that they care about their fans and even when it sometimes is not what they want to do, if a fan asks for a picture with them they will gladly give that to them. IF this person talked 40 minutes to Rob, why not ask to take a picture with him? Instead she took a picture of him standing away from her talking to someone else...and you're trying to convince us this person talked to him for 40 minutes and he gave her a kiss on the cheek? Sorry not buying it. I mean when given the oppourtunity what young woman would pass up the chance to have her picture taken WITH Robert Pattinson?

So shut up and go away already you're boring the hell out of us. I would also like to point out before you accuse me of not wanting to see the truth or whatever claptrap shit you have up your sleeve..if..IF there was what seemed like one kernel of truth to this story about the girl in the pup..I'd believe it...I mean why not? It's not like you said he grabbed her ass and slipped her the tongue...it's innocent...HOWEVER..it's also bullshit.

whew ok putting away my soapbox

Rose...You Harsh??!! Never...I rather enjoyed BULLSHIT day.

@OhEdward...Since you are so high on Respect and Protocol...then have the decency to address our wonderful leader by her name...Rose....
NOT Ms Blogger...
So...STFU...

Smitty and Syd...hoping for more of your British lessons too!!

Kami said...

Hope...Ohedward doesn't even know that England is not on the continent so I seriously doubt that she knows protocol, hell I seriously doubt she can wipe her ass.

This post was all kinds of funny today! Thanks Rose for making my day better since I feel like crap.

Love the "Where's Tom" picture. Nice pants Rob!

I hope they are having fun in London. No pictures means peace and quiet for them.

Smitty and Syd- you two are too much! Thanks for the British lessons. If playing tonsil tag is how the British greet strangers in pubs, I need to get on a plane STAT!

Hope those that were caught in this storm are okay. Wishing you lots of warmth!

To any person who is thinking of coming on Rose's blog and telling her she is FOS....just bugger off. You all know she is right and it just burns your butt.

As she says "with acceptance comes peace". May you all find peace in the new year. Or if not peace lots of rabies meds to keep you comatose and quiet for a long, long time.

Cute pics Rose ;-)

Oh Honey, Honey, Honey....your such a dick!

Your a definite cheek kisser.....your arse cheeks that is, because your heads so far up your arse you wouldn't know the truth if it was table dancing in front of you wearing nothing but green plaid boxers!

Other people might think you are cute, a source of light relief and even quite funny.....I just think you are a dick.....end of.

I heard about this ohpsycho person this morning.. Before I even had any caffeine! It's the holidays ohwhoever (woah.. iPad just tried to autocorrect that with phagocyte.. Interesting). Anyhoo. It's the holidays. Why don't you and Honeybunny take a tropical vacay together (I know just the island.... Honey's been there before and LOVED it). You guys can take turns kissing each other on the cheeks. And since the loony was somewhat good.. maybe Santa brought her another Bella doll and you guys can have her give out the kisses.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. Personally, I'm kind of ready for December to be over. So yeah...

Well it looks like I missed the fun this morning. I had a really good laugh catching up this morning.

Nice post Rose. Love your ramblings. I too hope Rob, Kristen and Tom have a quiet, picture-free time in London.

Honey – you deleted so soon. I mean HollywoodLife – yeah, they’re really reliable journalists. LOL.

Hey Kami, Hope, Melinda, Tracy, Liza and everyone else – hope you’re having a good day.

Hey Rose.. Happy Monday,

What a great post today, you made me smile and laugh.
I also adore Tom and I miss him and I do think he's truly a wonderful friend/brother to Rob and now Kristen.
If only I had a daughter... I just hope Tom finds someone as wonderful and sweet as Kristen, he deserves someone like that. He just seems like such a sweet, shy guy, but I bet he's wicked funny.

And you had me laughing at his same outfit he loves to wear, he is such a HOBO. At least Tom's wearing a different outfit in the last pic with Rob..lol. and LOVE the "Where's Tom" pic, kudos to whoever made that up. Where's Waldo was my kids favorite book when they were little. We had fun looking for Waldo.

Rose, hope you are staying warm and you are not getting all this snow that we are getting here.
Thank you for another great Post,
Enjoy the rest of the day.

Rose loved it of course Kristen is with Rob all the haters need to understand that.

And honey Hollywood life is a joke just like you are. I hate to break it to you but Rob Kristen and Garrett are all friends and Garrett was seen at the lakers game with a whole bunch of his friends and a female. Plus Kristen spent Christmas eve with her family since that's why she went home before going to London.

Rose I agree with you I dont want to see them but would like to see them at sometime We get to spend time with our love ones at this time of year why not not Rob/Kristen You always make my day. I miss MR.TOM too. DEB

Mary said...

Rose,

Your day starts out pretty much like mine does, minus the 100's of emails you get.

I know this isn't my life I'm talking about, but sometimes I wish Rob and Kristen would just go outside, do that typical British greeting of tonsil tag and let someone photograph it. Maybe it would shut up half of the deranged psychos out there who think they know everything about these 2.

Melinda,

I hope you feel better. Colds are the worst thing and no one gets much sympathy for having one because, "it's just a cold".

Oh Rose, Thank You for this post. I swear did if I ever needed a laugh, it was today and you did not disappoint!

After shoveling all day in windy conditions. I am now wet, sweaty, pissy and have a sore throat. You would think a neighbor with a snow blower would offer to at least help me. I am a single mom and all,own my own home but live in a middle class area but nope. Fucken people, So rude. It's OK, I did it. Took a big girl pill, pulled up my snow pants up and shoveled almost 2 feet and 3 feet snow drifts alone. (and had a alcohol beverage)

The Tom Stu pic... priceless! LMFAO I hope he has a sense of humor, or some reason I do think he does. :))

30 said...

That was suppose to say, FOR some reason.

Excuse the typos,my fingers are still frozen.

30 said...

I want to add, I am with you Rose. I do NOT want to see any pap leeches, "fan stalker" pics of Rob,Kristen and Tom anywhere while they are on Holiday. Going, leaving,it ALWAYS becomes some BS exaggerated story. And makes unnecessary added BS to this fandom.

Rose, these word verd are too hard! lol

"pancopsh"??

Mary said...

30,

I know exactly how you feel. I used to do the shoveling while my husband was at work and everyone around me was using a snowblower yet no one offered to help me out. We didn't have one because my husband wanted to get the exercise. Well, I sure as hell didn't need or want the exercise yet there I was. Finally, my mother gave us one for Christmas one year because she knew I'd never get one otherwise.

Devious Dee said...

Rose, great post as usual. Everytime you mention Tom in your post with a pic i appreciate him a lil more. We already know he is a good friend by the way he looks after Kristen. I also think when Carey Mulligan was going through her breakuo he helped her as well. I just think he seems like an overall nice guy.

Rose your post yesterday was right on point. I thought the pic and so called kiss on the cheek was suspect. In most fan pics Rob doesnt even open his hand all the way when he poses with u. Why would he kiss a fan on the cheek. He would more likely take a pic with you. Not a starkerish posed one.

As for todays post I too wonder why all the crazies read your blog then go ape shit when they dont agree.

Kami - lmao Honey removed that post quick because she realized how stupid she sounded.

30 said...

PL, it's like, if it was me and I had a snow blower and saw a person struggling. I would help in a second. That's just me though, some people only care about themselves ya know.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

A little self inflicted injury followed by some viral crud made it difficult to stop by to send warm wishes.

I see with the normal holiday madness over, the delusional have reverted back to listening to the rationale of the voices in their heads. Guess Santa didn’t bring them grey matter this year either.

Tracy, just saw your Christmas Eve ditty :D Hmmm…a vixen? I may have to up my part time status to keep up with that title! Not to mention how gloriously sexy the eye patch was over the holiday. That was a mental picture I could have lived without. lol

Elaine, woman where have you been?! Did I hear your boys made it to the playoffs?

Susan, hope you and that wonderful man of yours had a great celebration!

Liza, please let me know when the next round of Britishness lessons commence. I do not wish to look like just another dumb American and forget to slobber all over my co-workers at our next face to face meeting ;)

Melinda, Leigh, Kay, Kami, PL, angelica, 30, katy, IB, Smitty, Syd, Gruff, and anyone I am missing with this med induced brain…it may be belated, but I wish you the most wonderful of holidays and a very Happy New Year!

Angelica, even if New Years only consist of something warming on the way down I most definitely plan on it being a little more enjoyable than the four hours spent at urgent care on Christmas Eve. Sometimes in my haste even I forget that I wear a helmet. I really should have that thing permanently glued to my head :)

Liza! If Gruff isn’t willing to teach lesson 3, you and Angelica were such good pupils for lessons 1 & 2 and gave such good insight to the class that I’m sure you could be some sort of teacher’s assistants? Thankfully the eye patch only had to stay on for a couple days. Otherwise I was going to have to ask Tracy or Susan if they could bedazzle it for me. There is just no way to make one of those a fashion accessory :)

*Hugs* back my friend!

Cate - As someone who averages a broken bone about every 6 months,I know exactly what you mean about the helmet!!

I'm dying for Gruff's take on Lesson 3,I think it's clear Liza and I will give an enthusiastic demonstration of pretty much anything he comes up with, especially since I'm full of alcohol again :)

Angelica and Liza – love the “Britishness” lessons – I obviously have much to learn. LOL

Kami – thanks for re-posting Honey’s delusions. It was as funny the second time around. I love it that the story was de-bunked almost as quickly as Honey posted it.

Melinda, Elaine and Cate - hope you are feeling better soon.

Hey Katy, Super RN and Penny Lane – hope you are all well. Regards to anyone else I missed.

Then you whisper all the things I long to hear
That's the first lessson in love
Mmmm...Give me your heart

Then you put your two sweet lips on mine like this
And you'll learn the magic of a tender kiss
That's the next lesson in love
Mmmm....lesson in love

It's so easy when you know how
O my darling let me show you now

Last you whisper I love you so sweetly

No more talk of darkness.
Forget these wide-eyed fears.
I'm here, nothing can harm you.
My words will warm and calm you.
Let me be your freedom.
Let daylight dry your tears.
I'm here, with you, beside you,

Say you love me every waking moment.
Turn my head with talk of summertime.
Say you need me with you now and always.
Promise me that all you say is true.
That's all, I ask of you.

Let me be your shelter.
Let me be your light.
You're safe, no one will find you.
Your fears are far behind you.

All I want is freedom,
A world with no more night.
And you always beside me,
To hold me and to hide me.

Then say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime.
Let me lead you from your solitude.
Say you want me with you here beside you.
Anywhere you go, let me go too.
That's all I ask of you.

Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime.

Say the word and I will follow you.
Share each day with me, each night, each morning

Say you love me?
You know I do.
Love me, that's all I ask of you.

Thank you/SarahBrightmanFan05

To you Miss Rose and all of Roseland, I hope you all had a wonderfull xmas

Yup, snowed in...we have had nasty high winds and deadly windchills...I am staying sane with the puter, hooking, cooking and hubby and I even took a nap together this afternoon. Little daughter has the stomach flu, though, and it is no fun:(

AND....

I hope all of you that have been buried in snow are done digging out and are now warming up with some hot chocolate..... and, may all of you that have the winter crud be feeling better very soon!

Cate, I would have loved to have see a bedazzled eye-patch to match the helmet, but I am glad your eye is doing better!! ;)

Whomever is going to give the next "how to be British" lesson, please hurry as we apparently REALLY need a lot help understanding such things here in Roseland.

Rose, thanks for another fun post. :)

I hope everyone in Roseland has a fabulous night! I'm off to deal with some of my own 'bullshit day' fun....blech!!! :P

Hi DK, I had a wonderful Christmas – thank you for asking. I hope you had the same. I think you mentioned having a great time with your family. I missed your songs the other evening. What do you have planned for everyone tonight?

*I* Believe – I hope your daughter feels better. Nothing worse than the stomach flu – for the daughter or her mother. I hope you can avoid catching it if there’s a bug going around. I think you mentioned that you are a teacher of second grade students (I hope I have that right). My mother taught elementary school (grades 1 and 2 at various points). She loved working with the younger kids. I think she found it very rewarding. I truly believe that teachers do not get the credit they deserve for the incredibly important task that they perform. We are lucky there are people like yourself who are willing to take this on.

Hope you both have a great evening.

DK...what CAN I say to you, except when the cats away the mice will play and they sure did in the wee hours of the morning....lol LOVED the lyrics to your songs last evening and tonight!!!

Hi Everyone,

Just got caught up on all the comments from this morning. I see our resident expert on British culture came back for a visit..after promising she wouldn't :)

Rose, I'm sorry you are constantly having to explain yourself..some people will never get it.

Angelica, loved the Britishness lessons. We need more.

Hi Freddie, hope the paintings all done. That was a nice thing to do.

@Smitty
Loved the Ode to Syd's shorts either song or poem that you wrote for me.

It was sweet and bittersweet, for we all miss his toasty, crusty self.

But it is best to keep our distance, C'est vachement bien from any stink!

And, it took me back to my childhood, when teasing a boy was the only way to get him to notice me. Not much has changed, really, lol.

My favorite lines of all are:
I see London, I see France...
You can rhyme so many words with those.

You could even use those words while talking to Presidents, Prime Ministers, Kings or Knaves, that's how perfect those words are for communicating important ideas.

So, thank you, Smitty. More songs headed your way, of course. Syd, too, bad boy that he is. I'll post songs for Gruff, but he may be a song, don't know.

Can't get over you being up at this hour, but it is nice to have you here.

Catching up on your sleep is essential. I've upped my vitamin D to the 5000 you suggested instead of 3000, and do feel a difference in energy, isn't that fine?

Finished with MS? I need to read it again, to renew my impression of Edward, the deeply in love, old/teenager in it.

What's your favorite style of music?

I can't tell dreams from truth

For it's been so long
Since I have seen you
I can hardly remember
your face anymore

When I get really lonely
And the distance causes our silence

I think of you smiling
With pride in your eyes
A lover that sighs
If you want me satisfy me

Are you really sure
that you'd believe me
When others say I lie

I wonder if you could
ever despise me
When you know I really try
to be a better one

To satisfy you
For your everything to me
And I'll do
What you ask me

If you'll let me be
free
If you want me satisfy me

@Super

Went to a steakhouse and had ribeye, very good. Took the girls, my Cass and "A" her friend. Had such a good server, who they thought was cute, but I found out he has a gf. Actually, both of them do, too, so it was a game of flirtation and smiles.

Then, I stopped at Jokers for a couple and came home to write silly things on here.

Bren and Gwen? They are the elusive butterflies of love, so they may appear anytime or not at all.

I meant to answer your question earlier but got distracted before doing so.

What songs do I have in mind for tonight or any night? Your guess is as good as mine.

There are thoughts about songs/music that creep up on me unannounced, say, after reading the comments of the day or from fandom happenings. Then, I follow Rose's lead, when I can and find some song to post in that style. Still searching for one for today's.

Sometimes though, it's like I am tuning into a universal music that resonates within me, and that's inexplicable to describe, and perhaps I'm bonkers!

Thanks for asking, and for your patience with my answer.

There are lots of funny things I'd like to share but the quilty and innocent have denied their approval to do so. In other words, the family is onto me, especially after I told them about some of the posts I've shared about them.

I'd bet that eventually they will be begging me to write about them, as they are a vain as their mother, sister, and best friend-me.

@Bren
The ham's sad story:

A beautiful, locally grown, honey spiral ham (I know I got suckered into spiral again by the G/I (guilty/innocent) ones, was meant to be brought to room temp. and served for best appearance, taste and moisture content.

So, I thought I would do just that. But, noooooo. When J arrived with her deviled eggs and pinwheels appetizers, she was aghast that the ham would not be heated, and dried out, like every other year's tradition (not mine).

When B arrived, J immediately told him about the breach of tradition, and he looked stunned and moaned something about "just like Mom" and then, well you know the rest, without my naming any more names and being found out.

The ham was roasted and eaten, not in its true glorious room temperature self, as the local butcher shop and probably the farmer that raised the pig suggested. Even the pig would have preferred not to have been roasted I'm sure.

Is there no justice for hams and Moms trying to humanely honor their wishes?

Bren said...

You are too funny, I'm sure the pig would of preferred not to as well...

Where is Bells?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Funny you should say that the floor is mine because I was dancing on a floor, all by myself, earlier tonight. In a way, it is my floor.

It is a funny/sad story I'll share with you.

There weren't many at Jokers but the few were fun and we enjoyed ourselves. A great song played on the Sirius or jukebox, no matter, and I upped and danced to it.

Two other, younger lovely ladies then joined me, on my dance floor, the famous one where I done broke that little bone, and it looked like a square dance, yes, it did.

The moves we made were out of sync, due to inhaling of liquor prior to dancing, and we spun in circles, arms entwined and flung ourselves all around.

The two men in the bar had eyes for only one lady-and it wasn't moi.

So sad for Dreamer, as the older man had white hair and drank doubles/triples of scotch on ice with a water chaser, making him ideal in my eyes. He could teach me so much about scotch, I know it.

But he likes the Irish lass (not me, I'm only 1/3 but the 3/4 one) who is somewhat younger, thinner, prettier, and that's enough adjectives about her!

However, she doesn't like him at all, but did not refuse his complimentary drink, to spare his feelings I'd guess. She is very charming and has droves of guys after her (a fact) so she can afford to be picky. What about the washed up and out, filled up and out, little OLD me?

Well, I survived and am here to tell you I am not suffering and dancing again, is my true love, for it is perfectly happy to have me doing it, and on my own wooden dance floor, where it comes alive and breathes life into that Jokers bar!

Bren said...

ROFL.....literally...

Hey DK and Bren!

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
I did get the ascot but I don't know what to think about it. It might be the wrong fabric and the wrong place where I bought it, because more styles weren't available. The search continues...

The lovely 3/4 Irish lass is around 36, a tad younger than myself if we use dog years as a measure.

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
Yes, our Rose is one clever illustrator of facts, people and how to's, and where is's, ITA.

Since we have had a few new pics of Tom, I can say that I have had enough to last me, since I don't have anything to measure my interest with, except as I said before, like being and living life as a dog.

Makes everything I long for pale next to a good bone and a soft bed.

Hmmm, as a woman, I value those things immensely, too.

Bren said...

Hi Bells,

Nevermind mamacita---

So you were a dancing fool tonight...be careful with those ankles....

So if your friend is 36, how old was the gent with the scotch...too old to give her drinking lessons, right?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Someone turned on the lights in my head and I've got it, by god, I've got it. The answer is YES.

gwen said...

Bren
if that happens, i'll surely watch it.

gwen said...

DK
so you're back on the dance floor. Doing some samba? Or tango perhaps?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
The older man would be about 60 to 65, and he has other ideas than teaching her about scotch.

They were dancing when I left, and looked good, too. I scoped out his very excellent long, woolen coat as I glided by (taking care of my ankles as you decree) and stamped it in my mind as another admirable trait (good taste in clothing) along with the scotch.

More points for the white-haired man I cannot attract, sigh.

The gist of it was told to me a while ago, he is pursuing her and she is running into someone else's arms.

As a matter of fact, the father of her two children and I were talking quite a bit tonight, and they are good friends now and since high school but not romantic.

Don't jump the gun now, and stop thinking every man should like me
(although they should) for we were very much into talking about the same, lovely younger, 3/4 Irish star of the night, of course.

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
Sorry, the dance was a traditional American one, usually performed in barns or barnyards, with the livestock animals all around and hay on the ground.

You dance in circles, with your arms bent, and wrapped around other people's, and it is called square dancing, but you move in circles, so figure that out.

It was a drunken square dance, that was purposely several feet away from the dreaded pool table upon which I fell last time and bruised us both.

Our square dancing was performed in circles as expected or maybe more in ovals or oblongs, as was not expected but should have been, if the dancers had the presence of mind to notice what they were doing, and they didn't.

Bren said...

Isn't he a tad too old for her?

Maybe she digs the Father Time type...

As you have probably noticed, I have an age difference complex.LOL

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
She doesn't dig him, silly but is a very kind lady and he doesn't know that I guess. She can be psycho (like the rest of us at times) but generally, is sparkling and brightly shining.

When has a man ever thought he was too old for anyone?

Yes, I've noticed your bias but am reassuring you that you have no worries on that front, for a younger woman could not match you in any way, shape or form I'd bet, for scads of dudes would be after you instead. You make beautiful wreaths and all that....stuff.

Bren said...

You crazy gal, don't you know you should never get on a dance floor and spin, especially while drinking..LOL

gwen said...

DK
that looks like fun. Is it the one i'd seen in period movies.

How they come up w/ these words were a puzzle. Like how come a boxing ring is square when they called it ring, lol.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Truly, I did not spin. I pranced.

To and fro, left and right, back and forth, side to side, doe see doe, lifting my feet high up.

No, Bren, I swear, I did not spin instead I did dance prancing like a reindeer would if it could and it would be good, at dance prancing, like I am.

Bren said...

Let's change the subject...shall we?

Did you get Cass the Brat stuff?

What are you guys doing for NYE?

Bells, are you still here?

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
Tonight, I say blame it on the Brits, like R and T.

They have odd customs about kissing on each cheek and plunging tongues down throats for 3-5 minutes, as social traditions.

So, they probably named the boxing ring square. Makes great sense to me, after today's posts by our Roselanders confirming things formerly mistaken as untrue.

Bren said...

You just reminded me of that song...

Keep on dancing....dancing and a prancing...that would be you...

I grew up listening to a lot of oldies...can you tell?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Certainly, My Lady, we will change the subject to one of your desire.

No, no Brat stuff, as I didn't find any I liked and I waited too long to look, and she would be upset, for she is confused right now, and I didn't have the heart to call her Brat when to be accurate she is more B**ch, but no.

NYE, hot off of the presses!
No, I won't be bidding on H at Jokers.

Going into a close suburb with the bff and sister to some chi-chi bars and one dumpy one, where music will play and we will try to make some night music, so we can get kissed at midnight.

Who wants to bet me about us all getting kissed by a very strange man?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
To clarify, Cass knows that she is a b**ch and is proud of that. She is not confused about it at all, if I made it sound like that in my last comment.

Lest, you think that I am a mean mommy, talking the fly about her brood, I mean.

It's been a successful Christmas present giving year for she has only returned two of the four I gave her, as they were "yucky" she said.

Can't disagree with her taste, it's hers, not mine, obviously.

Bren said...

I wanted to change the subject about the old geezer who wanted the psycho in the bar....that's all

The rest of the convo was fine...no offense intended..

What is your definition of a strange man? the one who will kiss you at midnight...

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
I am not surprised you grew up with oldies, but that you think that you grew up at all, does surprise me, pleasantly so!

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
I will tell you the story I base the midnight kissing odds on, if you want meto, but I need a few minutes to write it up.

Wanna wait?

Bren said...

I spent a great part of last evening watching P&P. I still have another disc. Which makes me laugh, when I think about the British lessons from yesterday.

Birdie said...

Talking this way is so disjointed. I have caught up on the comments and thought you two went to bed.
Bren,
After picking up and dragging my sweet-ladened body to the gym, I did absolutely nothing yesterday-drained!

DreamerKind said...

@Bren & Birdie

Yes, the Britishness lessons have a divine element to them.

I am expecting a bolt of lightning to strike somewhere in the vicinity soon.

Awake! Awake! The sky is falling or something like that.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Just the mention of my favorite P & P wakes me up and I pay attention.

No, really Bren and I go back and forth with leaving Roseland and going to sleep, as we are contrary women like that.

No, rhyme or reason, just plain contrariness. And the slow posting of comments by the robotic drudge in cyberspace.

Birdie said...

Was Santa good to you? My children gave me a GPS. I am thrilled since I can get lost very easily. I told them it was a mistalke because I am now running away from home.

So I bid you both a good day...see you later...

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Funny, I get lost often, too and no GPS has been given to me. Give me yours, okay, so the family won't have to worry about you when you run away.

Email me for my address and I'll pay the postage, of course.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren

Bren said...

Birdie,

Had to come back and tell you....GPS, the best thing ever invented...ok, I'm gone...

Later.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Seriously, I got a spa package of great things to have done to my body, from top to bottom, hopefully by a male.

Then, I got "True Blood" season 1, so I can be ridiculed and insulted, more & more, about addicting vampire stories and male actors who play them. What is that, reverse psych, that I am to rattled to understand?

The $50 Borders gc may buy lots of lattes or a combo of music, film and lattes. Great gift for DK.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Bren thoughtfully returned to prove my point about contrary women, like us.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
I feel the need to explain my comment about giving me your GPS, so that your family will not worry about you when you run away.

See, if you have a GPS, when you do so, then you can run and run very, very far, away, away from them, cause you will know just how far that is when you do, and decide to go farther.

The family will worry that you have gone too far, from them, and civilization.

No GPS, you get lost, maybe a couple of miles from home, and call them to lead you back, so you don't run away very far or at all.

Dreamer saves Birdie from making a terrible mistake by using a GPS and not getting lost anymore, and thus leaving her family by running away.

Family also loves Dreamer for taking that GPS present away from Birdie. It's a win-win for all.

Hurry, B, this offer may expire in 7 days-Act today!

Good night Bren!
DK,
A spa package,ah now that would be nice. Maybe I would not want to run away from home if I had something to sooth my frazzled nerves. HaHa.
I started watching True Blood on netflix when it first came out and should catch up on it. Pretty entertaining and alot racier? than Twilight.

@Birdie
Racier? Watch out, DK!

Aren't the two leads also dating/racing each other?

Yes, you and I need some rubbing of our frazzled nerves to soothe us, so true.

Birdie said...

That may be true about the running away, but I think secretly they think I should get out more. They must want me be back, therefore the GPS. They know I would never stray too far. But your intentions are ever so thoughtful!

Birdie said...

Have you not seen True Blood?

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Oh, yes, as soon as I learned that you got a GPS for a present, I immediately became very thoughtful about how to get you to give it to me. I see I have failed but am glad that you think well of me for being that way.

No, I haven't seen True Blood just like I haven't read many fanfics because I have the time and leisure to fall into the depths of them and never return, a little like a reverse GPS situation. Nothing would save me from the pits.

A wise women recognizes her own pits of doom and nips desire in the bud, so to speak.

@Birdie
That's why I prefer Twilight because the lovers are in a trial by denial, much like my life, at this place and time.

Someone needs to write a book about vampires, and how they are considering changing a geezer, to have one on their squad.

We Baby Boomers would eat it up, I assure you. Immortal geezers, just think about it.

Well it is possible that you will get caught up in True Blood and use that Borders card to buy more episodes. It has romance, humor, gore... Being the romantic that you are...
I am sad to say that I have to get ready for another day of work. But I thank you for putting me in my happy place. My patients should thank you for giving them such an agreeable nurse. Your first good deed for the day.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Thank you for saying that and ask the patients if they would like to thank me with a GPS, would you?

Have a good one, and I'll be thinking about you.

DK

I will do that, but don't hold your breath! Have a good sleep and maybe I will see you here after work.

Here I am, just me and the Lurkers (hello youse).

Might go cyberfishing or slumbering, what to do?

DreamerKind said...

What, no Smitty or Syd to brighten a dull Dreamer?

For the life of me, I can't think of one song to post as a goodbye for Roseland/Roselanders. Anyone got one?

Wait...

Hello Goodbye

Beatles/listen to them here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99jVPJUeqr4

You say yes, I say no.
You say stop and I say go go go, oh no.
You say goodbye and I say hello
Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello.

I say high, you say low.
You say why and I say I don't know, oh no.
You say goodbye and I say hello hello hello
(Hello Goodbye) I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
(Hello Goodbye Hello Goodbye) hello hello
(Hello Goodbye) I don't know why you say goodbye
(Hello Goodbye) I say hello

Why why why why why why do you say goodbye goodbye, oh no?

You say goodbye and I say hello
Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello.

You say yes (I say "yes") I say no (but I may mean no.)
You say stop (I can stay) and I say go go go (till it's time to go ), oh no.

You say goodbye and I say hello
Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello

Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello hello.

Thank you/vnt95

There, I just demo-ed my song inspiration method, the one I didn't know how to explain or that I had one, am so relieved.

You see it's like this:

I said no, no song in mind,
I said go, no song in mind,
I said whoa, song in mind,
I said hello! for goodbye,
And then in popped,
Hello goodbye, just so!

A Fairy Godmother with a song popping in talent! Oh, joy!
