Rob and Kristen- I'm In Love With You

Listen, do you want to know a secret?

Guess what?
I'm hungover.
Again.
Impressive, huh?
Well...
Before you judge me TOO harshly...
My Green Bay Packers DID get to the Super Bowl.
So of course we had a huge Packer Party
at our local sports bar...
Food and drink abundantly available.
Especially the drink.
Lots and lots of drink.
But come on...
The Packers beat DUH Bears!
And there were like a zillion TV screens
and an incredible amount of people screaming and yelling...
So.
Yeah.
I'm hungover.

Do you promise not to tell?

OK...
There's not a lot happening right now.
And you know what that means... right?
It means people just create drama where none exists.
They're bored.
They're frustrated...
They're idiots?

So the MTV MOVIE AWARDS announced that
a trailer from Breaking Dawn would be premiered at the show.
And oh my...

One side was all about writing MTV to not let Taylor go to the show!
REALLY??
One side was all about voting the hell outta anyone for 'best kiss'
so that Rob and Kristen didn't win!
REALLY??

Please.
Closer, let me whisper in your ear... Say the words you long to hear...

LAME.
How insecure and sad must you be...
that you think the outcome of an award show...
matters SO much in the grand scheme of Rob and Kristen's relationship?
Taylor isn't a threat.
At all.
Either is Reese... or any of Rob's co-stars
(Except the elephant... Rob does seem quite taken with her)
And please
BOTH extreme sides of this are ridiculously the same.
Don't they see that?
One is complaining about the other one not wanting Taylor there...
But just a few weeks ago...
Those same people were not wanting Kristen at the
premiere for Water for Elephants.
WRITING CAMPAIGNS on both sides.
(and don't say it was a 'joke'... you know it wasn't)

Same bullshit.
Both sides of the debate.
Extreme Drama.

I'm in love with you.

And oh yes...
An interview with Rob
when he was promoting New Moon.
So we know its not recent...
But still very telling in some ways.

Interviewer: "We've been interviewing some psychologists and they're stating that this boy (Edward) terrified by his "vampiristic" impulses is somehow like a teenager terrified by his sexual impulses. Is that it? Do you think that Twilight is this specific teenager metaphor? What do you think?"

Rob: "In many ways, yes. I think so. But I don't think it's just about teenagers. I think that, in this particular movie (NM), everyone can relate to the events, the story. It was this book that encouraged me to make the movies. I read it before making the first movie. Something about how you fall in love for the first time, especially for a young man. You tend to idealize the girl, your imagination is completely flooded and you think she's just flawless whatsoever. And the more you get to know her, the more you're in love with her and you think that she's perfect and there's nothing wrong with her at all. But, in the other hand, you see more and more flaws in yourself. And I think there was this emotional outline in the movie, with this vampire blaming himself for threatening the girl he loves' life. He thinks he's gonna kill her because he's a vampire, but I mean, anyway...it's a good metaphor about the fear you can feel about the real commitment of a relationship, when you come to realize that this relationship is really important and not just a fling. You're thinking 'If I begin this, is it gonna be for life? Or will one of us end up with a broken heart if we leave each other?' So yeah; it's a good metaphor.

Was he talking about Kristen?
Depends on who you ask.
But he is talking about falling in love...
He is talking about the real commitment of a relationship...
When you realize its more than just a 'fling'.
He is talking about being in it for life.

That wouldn't be Nina.
Since by this time...
That relationship was way over.
And he was in the beginning of his relationship with Kristen.
So
You tell me.
WHO is he talking about?

Listen... Do you want to know a secret? Do you promise not to tell?

Oh and people are howling about this being an 'old' interview...
Yet...
Somehow...
They always manage to CLING to ancient quotes
when Rob said he was single.
And by ancient I mean that shit is decomposing.

Thing is...
Rob hasn't said he was 'single' in ages (Years).
When he talks about falling in love...
(for the last time)
He could very well be talking about Kristen.
That's why this interview upset them so.
;)
Closer, let me whisper in your ear... Say the words you long to hear...
AND
Since I got my fucking paddle out...
Let's discuss Oregano.
Well...
There's not much to say.
Ever since he lost his Kristen lurking job...
He kinda faded away into oblivion.
Harsh?
Nope.
Just honest.
Have you seen much of him since Kristen broke up with him?
Nope.
And yeah...
I'm guessing Kristen is the one who broke up with him.
Why?
Because she outgrew him.
Because she was only 17...
and teenagers fall in and out of love...
and because she was with Oregano for a couple of years...
and what girl falls in love at 14...
with the man she will be with forever?
Ted has mentioned Oregano a couple of times now.
Significant?
Not even.
He loves the controversary
(admit it... its entertaining)
He mentions MA...
BINGO!
All the Foaming Hyenas
and Insecure shippers flock to his site.

Come on people.
Such HUGE importance on a high school romance?
PUL-LEASE
Kristen grew up and moved on...
How DARE she!
Do you remember your boyfriend at 14?
Puppy Love.
We all go through relationships at that age.
We've all experienced broken hearts.
Doesn't make Kristen a bad person...
It makes her normal.
She had love at first sight with Robert Pattinson.
Can you blame her?
She wasn't married.
She was just dating a guy.
It happens.
All the time.
Kristen has moved on.
Oregano (hopefully) has moved on.
Shouldn't you?

I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU.

Anything else?
Probably.
But it's time to put the paddle away for today.
Told ya I was hungover...
THIS is what happens.
Yeah... I know...
I should just talk about Rob
and Kristen
and sunshine and rainbows
and unicorns frolicking across the land
But the unicorns have been far and few between lately
And it's been kinda cloudy and no rainbows in sight.
So.
The paddle comes out.
Shit gets stirred.

Blame Rob and Kristen for being so ninja
and for being so content to just stay at home
and be all domestic and cute.
Imagine Kristen cooking...
While Robert plays the piano
Lovely thought.
;)

This post is brought to you by the letters *G* and *T*

G for
GREEN BAY PACKERS!!!
We are going to the
SUPER BOWL!!!

T for
Thomas Sturridge.
Come out
Come out
Wherever you are!

Too fucking cute for words.

Bye for now

Speaking of teenage boyfriends, a sister of a teenage ex-boyfriend brought him up to me on FaceBook. She wanted to post an old Homecoming picture of us. It seems like a lifetime ago that I even dated the guy. For the life of me, I can't remember what I saw in him.

Point being, life goes on. If I had to get stuck with that guy for the rest of my life I would have been miserable (and my kids wouldn't be as cute as they are! LOL)

If you can's date around first, how are you supposed to find your true love? These failed relationships are kind of learning experiences to make you the person you are for the real love of your life.

Never settle for less than the real thing--ever.

Sydney said...

Poor Oregano. If he isn't brought up as Kristen Stewart's ex, he isn't brought up at all.

And wow, I can only imagine the nonnies sitting at their computers spending every waking moment voting for anyone but R/K. They can do it too, they have nothing better to do. Who cares, anyway? It certainly won't change who they kiss later that night!

And yay for the Packers! I was rooting for them as well. I wanted the Jets to win, but oh well. I cared more about the Pack!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!!

That was supposed to be "can't" not "can's."

Wow - is that 'Marianne' in that pic with Tom? She looks so different with blond hair. Like kstew, I like her better as a brunette.

Rose - Congrats on the Packers making it to the Super Bowl. My husband is a die-hard Steelers fan so, by default, so am I.

But, I think Green Bay is going to take it. :(

Freddie said...

Hi Rose,

Thanks for posting that except from the interview. I hadn’t seen it yet. I do believe that Rob could have been talking about Kristen when he said it. He seemed to be speaking from a place of experience, about a relationship that had passed the point of being “a fling” and was now “a relationship that was really important”.

When people make ridiculous assertions about Rob and his infamous “blonde” or any other woman, I can only laugh, because this is so totally inconsistent with what we have seen of his behaviour and what he have heard him say in interviews. He really does seem to be a “one person, for life” kind of guy. And while I think he sees Kristen in a real light (as people do once they really get to know someone), the way he looks at her, really does make me think that he still sees her as “flawless” and is even more in love with her. It’s beautiful to watch.

I hope everyone is having a good day. A shout out to the pretty ladies who posted pictures and to everyone for showing their inner beauty through their words.

Oh and Rose, I really loved your picture choices today, including the really cute one of Tom. They are some of my favourites of Rob and Kristen. Congrats on your Packer win.

Hey Susan and Sydney. Hope you are having a good day.

WOO HOO GREENBAY! I think most of WI was crazy last night...I don't know how many cars went past our house after the game with horns blarring! Awesome!

Drama, Drama, and more Drama..for some it never gets old and they just love to stir!

I have been listening to the song "Beside You" because both Kristen and Rob have mentioned it in an interview as a song they like. It seems to me that it would be the prefect song for "their song" very fitting!

robsten4evea said...

Thanks for your always honest post Rose =0) even the updates on what the foamers are up to.....nothing should surprise me anymore. Hope your feeling better soon. Loved seeing the old New Moon interview and TOTALLY think Rob was referring to Kristen....makes sense to me and the time line fits! Though we are going through a Rob/Kristen dry spell it is enough for me to know they are together and HAPPY in love =) Have a great day everyone!

Birdie said...

Rose,
Glad you got to celebrate a Packer's victory. I loved the Raji run.
That interview amazes me. This is why Robert Pattinson impresses me. How many young guys think like this? Could you imagine Taylor saying this? This is not a canned answer. This is something he "feels" and has really put some thought into. This man is a romantic and I think it is pretty obvious who he is romantic about.

Kay said...

Woo hoo! Rose, as a fellow cheesehead I am still grinning today!!!! : D

All I can say is thank God we don't have to settle for the first person that we fall in love with....it is all about the last one....the one that completely holds our heart. Rob and Kristen seem to have found that in each other, and people need to be happy for them about that.

Happy Monday Roseland!

Hope said...

Rose...Congrats on Green Bay's victory!!

"Big D" is a big party city and we look forward to hosting the Packers and the Steelers!!
Dallas will be rocking and it should be a great game!!
Go Packers!!

Oh...saw the pic of Oregano at the Golden Globes...WTF??!!

SueBee said...

Hi, Freddie.

Doing just peachy. How are you? :o)

Freddie said...

Susan - I'm doing well, thanks, just hibernating from the cold. I decided to work from home today, which is nice, aside from the fact that my cat is determined to sit with me and this doesn't help me get my work done. He stands and yells at me when he wants attention - just like a child.

I see you and Liza started a trend with your beautiful pictures.

Mary said...

Congratulations all you Packer fans.

Just remembering my boyfriend from High School. Perfectly nice guy but, boy, am I glad I didn't stick with that one.

angelica1 said...

I do see the boyfriend I was with at 17 occasionally,it reassures me I definitely made the right choice when I left him!!

Honestly watching both extremes is like being at the Mad Hatter's tea party. Who cares who goes or doesn't go, wins or doesn't win an effing MTV award or some stupid online poll? I'm pretty sure Rob & Kristen don't. He probably was talking about Kristen,I can't imagine who else he'd be referring to. It's been cracking me up watching these buffoons losing their shit, yet again, over nothing ,the whole damn lot of them are like The Simpsons on crack!!

SueBee said...

Aw, thanks, Freddie.

I think bears have the right idea with hybernation through the winter.

Eat a whole bunch and sleep a lot. Totally win/win. :o)

angelica1 said...

Susan, I mentioned on the last post - I think your husband has a point!

Really?

I think my husband needs glasses. I totally wished I looked like Martina McBride but I don't see it.

At any rate, thank you. :o)

OK then..

Can I start my own campaign too kick these assholes out of the fandom? Then the over obsessed and haters can hang together, then the rest of us just sit back and enjoy Rob and Kristen's movies in peace. Oh and Tom's too, how can I forget Tom.:)

Sounds like a plan too me. ;)

I love the Beatles song you chose for the theme! It fits Rob and Kristen so well. I definitely think Rob was talking about Kristen in that interview. He is so obviously head over heels in love with her, that I can't understand how anyone would doubt them. Thanks for helping me make it through this Rob and Kristen dry spell. I miss them!

Barbara Fenwick said...

Congratulations to the Green Bay Packers---that is great. Rose, great post as usual, you always know exactly what to say. I do hope you feel better. Love Robert, love Kristen, and know they will be together forever.

Rose, my husband is a cheesehead, so lots of celebrating from him yesterday...but I'm a die hard Steelerlova, soooo superbowl should be freaking awesome. lmao woo hoo! I can't believe all the letter writers. wtf? some people really have no life. Love that paddle by the way.And the Rob interview was great, I've not heard it before. thanks Rose.

Kami said...

Sounds to me like the letter writers and petitioners need to realize that while they might like Rob, they may go see his movies, buy magazines with him on the cover, they don't own him. He is pretty much free to go or not go to any event in the world with whomever he chooses.

As for ex-boyfriends...all I can say is thank God I didn't end up with the first guy I ever dated.

Super RN Gas Passer said...

ROSE AND ROSELANDERS...I dont know but I "suspect" that the first boyfriend I had at age 14 most likely ended up in prison or is dead by now...Young teenage girls are not the best judge of character...lol Thank GOD most of us DONT settle for the first guy or girl that comes along.. i can tell you what happened to my brother in law..he married the first girl that paid any attention to him when he was 19..now he is 50 and they are still married but hate eachothers guts..that is no lie...

ROSE..Congrats on the PACKERS...You know though, having 2 Hard Days Nights so close together might be a little difficult to overcome...at our age, just sayin! lol

Rhonda said...

Hello Rose and Roseland!

Rose- Congrats again on the Packers win. Sorry again about the hangover..Hehehe..

Let's see, writing campaigns and petitions over an awards show...Hmmm..I'm not quite sure what to say..so I think I won't say anything about it at all. Instead I will just leave you with one of my favorite John Wayne quotes: "Life is hard, it's harder if you're stupid"

Stupid is as stupid does....

Hi Everyone :)

Wasn't surprised that the Packers won. They are the better team (sorry Bears fans). Now I am eagerly awaiting for the Steelers to give them a run for their money. It should be a good game.

As for the Twi world...people need to get a life. I have no words for their nonsense.

30 and Super- lovely pics of you two.

Kami- what a sweetie! Congrats on the newest addition to your family.

Freddie said...

Hi Super - yes, "demanding" is a good descriptive, although I don't really blame him in a sense. Since he can't see and with his hearing going as well, he seems to crave human touch. That way he knows he's not alone. So he likes to be with me, but when he needs something or wants to find me, he literally stand there and yells like a banshee, because he can't hear himself. I'm sure the neighbours think I'm taking an axe to him - LOL.

So, I love to have him with me, although it's not really conducive to being productive work-wise.

How is Max and your other two (I hope I have that right)?

Doesnt that give ya the shits! when you are trying to get work done....
Super you have a Max too? hey! funny that!
Kami thanks for your email BTW

Oh yer just a quick Hallo to Gwen! How are you darling?
I typed out that receipe I should have given you a few weeks back....

@ Gwen
I believe I owe you a recipe, Gwen and here it is...

Ricotta Stuff Shells Chicken Soup

1 Diced onion
1 cup soup mix [this is a bag of lentils called soup mix here, not sure if you call it that there]
Diced chicken breast {or whatever cut of chicken you’d prefer] and how much you’d prefer also.
1 stick Celery
1 sliced Carrot
2 cubed Potatoes
1 or 2 sliced Zuccini
2 or 3 Chicken oxo
1 packet of chicken noodle soup [dry soup mix]
1 tablespoon tomato paste or a chopped fresh tomato

Half a kilo ricotta
Parsley
1 or 2 eggs [depending on the size]
Large shell pasta [large enough to fill with ricotta mixture]

In a pot add a little olive oil and fry the onion and chicken till chicken light brown.
Add washed and rinsed lentils and fry till onions are transparent.
Throw all you vegetables in and add enough water to cover the vegetables or I usually add a little less than half of pot with water....
Add tomato paste, S & P, chicken oxo and chicken noodle soup packet.
Allow boiling then letting it cook slowly for about 45 minutes or so...
When you see the chicken & vegetables cooked add the following.....

In a separate bowl combine the ricotta, chopped parsley, S & P and eggs and mix together till combined....
Fill the shells with this mixture.....And add it into the soup.....Just place them in and let the pasta stuffed shells cook with the soup.....If you find you have remaining ricotta mix left over ...I just put that straight into the soup also.....
Once the pasta is soft enough that it’s cooked, Turn off the soup and give it ½ hour to just sit and cool slightly and serve.

Hope you make this and you enjoy it. I cook this winter and summer.....much to my children disgust....We like soup but my sons not so much.

Happy for you too, Rose, that your Packers had a great win. On to the big D and the ultimate victory!

What beautiful Roselanders! Such fun to see the faces that go with the names.

Gorgeous new baby nephew Kami! What a blessing for your sister and the whole family. Love the name, Nate, too.

Thank you for the recipe Louisa. I remember you mentioning that soup a while back and it sounds delicious.

Is anyone watching Downton Abbey on PBS? It is marvelous and takes place in Edwardian England. The dresses are beautiful. I wonder what the costume designer would create for Kristen/Bella? The men's suits would look wonderful on Rob/Edward. (Am waiting with great anticipation to see the costumes for everyone in BD for the wedding scenes.) The series is already 3 weeks in and I believe there are only one or two more weeks left. It has been a delicious treat.

Well, back to reading papers.

Stay warm and dry y'all.

This Guy's In Love With You

Herb Alpert-1968:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyJsJQiNFLg&feature=related

You say this guy
This guy's in love with you

Yes I'm in love
Who looks at you the way I do

When you smile
I can tell
We know each other very well

How can I show you
I'm glad
I got to know you
'Cause

I've heard some talk
They say you think I'm fine

Yes I'm in love
And what I do to make you mine

Tell me now, is it so
Don't let me be the last to know

My hands are shaking
Don't let my heart be breaking
'Cause

I need your love
I want your love

Say you're in love, in love
With this guy
If not I'll just die

Tell me now, is it so
Don't let me be the last to know
My hands are shaking
Don't let my heart be breaking
'Cause

I need your love
I want your love

Say you're in love, in love
With this guy
If not I'll just die

Here Comes the Sun

George Harrison/Paul Simon-RARE:

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
And I say it's all right

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right

Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces

Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...

Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting

Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
And I say it's all right
It's all right

Thank you/mac3079

I want you to fly
I want you to grow
I like you to get back
Whatever you lose

I want you to learn
What you wanna know
I like you to follow
The road that you choose

Ooh at the same time
I wanna hold on
Don't want you to go
I like to be near you
Whatever you do

I want us to hide (Ooh)
I want to let low (Ooh)
Doesn't make sense but (Ooh)
I wanna be you (Ooh)

I wanna be you (At the)
I want to be you (Same)
I want to be you (Time)

I wanna be you (At)
I wanna be you (The)
I wanna be you (Same)
I (Time)

I want us to hide
I want to let low
But doens't make sense but
I wanna be you

I want you to fly

So the cages open now
We take him fly to
Rising and falling like snow
In the nights

I'm feeling while a windy scene
Between my palms
I got my hands and the bird
Flies out

Heat can scorch but it is better than cold, for cold limits, hot bursts with power.

I'm good, silly.

Man of La Mancha

Linda Eder:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ynrky_iw6Q

Hear me now, oh, thou bleak and unbearable world
Thou art base and debauched as can be

And a knight with his banners all bravely unfurled
Now hurls down his gauntlet to thee!

I, am I, Don Quixote, the Lord of La Mancha
Destroyer of evil am I

I will march to the sound of the trumpets of glory
Forever to conquer or die

Hear me heathens and wizards and serpents of sin
All your dastardly doings are past

For a holy endeavor is now to begin
And virtue shall triumph at last!

I, am I, Don Quixote, the Lord of La Mancha
A name all the world soon will know

And the wild winds of fortune will carry me onward
Oh, whither so ever they blow

Whither so ever they blow
Onward to Glory I go

Thank you/cloverel

I did not hear about Oprah but am happy if she is. Sure, I would love more sisters and brothers, for my family is very small.

Good news!

Magnolias-blooming said...

Yer mine is small too.
I wouldn’t mind a bigger brother or brothers.
I reckon that would change my family dynamics.....Although I dont think my father would have handled boys.....Boys will always be boys [meaning boisterous]

Don't Rain On My Parade

Linda Eder:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_6n3drbhV0&feature=related

Don't tell me not to live, just sit and putter
Life's candy and the sun's a ball of butter
Don't bring around a cloud to rain on my parade!

Don't tell me not to fly, I've simply got to
If someone takes a spill, it's me and not you
Who told you you're allowed to rain on my parade?

I'll march my band out
I'll beat my drum
And if I'm fanned out
Your turn at bat, sir
At least I didn't fake it!
Hat, sir?
I guess I didn't make it!

But whether I'm a rose of sheer perfection
A freckle on the nose of life's complexion
A cinder on the shiny apple of its eye
I gotta fly once

I gotta try once
Only can die once
"Right, sir?"
Ooh, love is juicy, juicy and you see
I gotta have my bite, sir!

Get ready for me, love 'cause I'm a "comer"
I simply gotta march, my heart's a drummer

Don't bring around a cloud to rain on my parade!
I'm gonna live and live now
Get what I want I know how

One roll for the whole shebang
One throw that bell will go clang
Eye on the target and wham
One shot, one gunshot, and bam!

Hey world, here I am!!!
I'll march my band out
I'll beat my drum
And if I'm fanned out
Your turn at bat, sir

At least I didn't fake it!
Hat, sir?
I guess I didn't make it!
Get ready for me, love, 'cause I'm a "comer"

I simply gotta march, my heart's a drummer
Nobody, no, nobody
Is gonna rain on my parade!!!

Thank you/babsfan4ever

@Louisa
Dads are men, and used to being at the top, right? They are not always ready for more love, if it means more of them? Lol.

You gotta love, everyone, or it doesn't work, in my life, I've loved them all.

Magnolias-blooming said...

DK i hope I didnt offend you with my earlier comment. It wasnt meant to be taken that way...
Where are Gwen & Bren tonight?
They must have had an early night.

Magnolias-blooming said...

Yes you have to deal with what you've been dealt with...
I myself always get told....Oh you dont have a daughter...like I am missing out...
But wheather I had boys or girls....they are loved just the same.....between you and I ...Im a bit boisterous myself....so having sons suits me to the ground.....They [my sons] are loving in their own little way....although now i will have to be a MIL to there wives...who inturn will be daughters to me anyway...so it sorta balances itself out...

DreamerKind said...

@Louisa
I am not, hardly ever, offended, that's how singular I am, so don't worry. You are neat and I enjoy our talks.

Easy, life is good.

DreamerKind said...

@Louisa
You would be a wonderful MIL and I love boisterous folks, for I am one. If I get the chance, I will bang pots and pans and shout out into the night. Luckily, my pals keep me in wraps, so to speak but maybe in OZ I'd be LOUD!

Magnolias-blooming said...

DK sorry about that My son returned back from trainning and he has his dinner now...
Yer I love where i live coz neighbors are few and far between....So if [not often...ter right! lol]
yell....only the person on the receiving end and my animals hear me.....Well my parrots always imitate me when I yell...so do they....then I usually crack up laughing....coz they [my parrots] are males but scream like sissies.....lol

DreamerKind said...

@Louisa
I saw that earlier you mentioned you can stay at Roseland until family is around and needs you. I agree and heart that, point of view.

Feed the children and save the world.

DreamerKind said...

Right now I am going to scramble up some cheese and eggs for I am hungry. And will add a Becks beer cause I like it.

Be back very soon.

Magnolias-blooming said...

Yer its ready just waiting for him to return.coz he eats before and after....He trains x3 week and its usually a hard trainning session.....Then goes straight to bed....Its like 9.30pm so its a little late for him ...But thats what works for him so we just do that.
Ok if I'm still on I will speak and if not goodnight ...

DreamerKind said...

@Louisa
Yumm, my eggs are good and the beer is, too.

Maybe I am working out in some way that is not clear, just like your son and need my protein for endurance (to live this life I'm living).

If not, what can I do, for I did it for love...what I did for love.

Magnolias-blooming said...

What! eggs and beer.....OMG...that sounds...ummmmmm. lets just say not good....lol....But scrambled eggs is a good quick meal..not sure about the beer though! lol

DreamerKind said...

@Louisa
I cannot be predictable, or I can but you'd have to know me. Beer and eggs, why not?

Magnolias-blooming said...

JC I must say I've never had those two together...E & B...but whatever rocks your boat....
What about baked beans intsead of beer?
I myself love to drink mineral water with my meals.....You get the crisp of the gas but no sugar as you get in soft drinks....

Being predictable? well why not...and how does that differ from knowing you or not?
Is it b/c you always have eggs and beer?

Magnolias-blooming said...

Besides a lady of your statue drinkng beer & eggs is hardly feminine....lol

gwen said...

hello!

Hey DK and Louisa? still around?

Magnolias-blooming said...

Hey Gwen..we are just debating the femininity of eggs and beer! lol
Did ya get my receipe earlier GF?

DreamerKind said...

@Louisa
So funny, dear.

There are no rules for my eating eggs or drinking beer and I would love beans, with the beer.

The point is what would Dreamer choose and for that you would need to know me, but it is not necessary, for just know yourself.

I won't force you to drink beer or mineral water, matter of fact, I don't do anything to make others do, anything.

Too lazy, too accepting, too busy getting to know stuff...and stuff.

gwen said...

Louisa

im still reading the earlier post since my phone and pc just abandon me, i havent been online since last week :(

what's the connection of feminity and egg? ;)

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
Well, well, the little escape artist appears....missed her.

Magnolias-blooming said...

well I wouldn't force anyone to drink what they didnt want to either...
Each to their own I say.....Although I do knuckle down on my kids drinking to much coke....But they are all in trainning so they dont really anyway..

Magnolias-blooming said...

Gwen femininity and eggs...dont go there......lol

DreamerKind said...

@Louisa and Gwen
There is no feminine part of myself that eats eggs, for that matter, I used to have my own eggs and that was feminine, and made the two children I have.

So, eating eggs for me is neutral, you see, and doesn't add or subtract from the woman that I still am, without any eggs to make more children, only omelettes.

Magnolias-blooming said...

@ DK well I'm glad its not necessary and yes I do know myself. But I am enjoying learning new stuff also....so if this works for you ...It most certainly works for me.....;)

BTW your last comment was funny

gwen said...

Hello DK! its been so long has it? im borrowing my friend's laptop since mine had finally ended its life lol.

Louisa - ummm okay lol. just the word feminity and egg makes you think hmmmmm

DreamerKind said...

@Louisa & Gwen
All I live for is to make funny comments on Roseland, for in the rest of my world, they don't think I am funny at all. Probably, it seems like they (my kids) think I am a tad bizarre! Can anyone even believe that? Of course, not.

I like very dry, aged, difficult, give you a burst, type of wine and they don't.

Oh, and I like music you can't dance too, but I can. Makes me weird.

Full of myself, I think I am.

gwen said...

DK- lol children and omelletes? what kind of eggs are we talking about, hmmm?

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
What have you been doing and why have you avoided me and Bren? Are we too bossy and are you too wimpy?

Magnolias-blooming said...

DK Dry, aged, difficult sound ominous! lol
I myself prefer a sweet white or red...not fussed.....Age...well then thats another issue! lol

Just kidding!
Im just spinning shit as usual...

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
We are talking about the kind of eggs that you had better be thinking about for a future family with some man's add'l mix.

See, there I go, lecturing the Gwen, on mating and getting it on, so Dreamer, and I speak for Bren (who will kill me) can say, bravo, gwen, you got the whole banana.

Magnolias-blooming said...

JFC now we're talkin
eggs
bannanas
children
different eggs...oh yuk!
mating
classy conversation ladies!

DreamerKind said...

@Louisa
I am not getting any younger, nor would I want to. Difficult, is interesting, and par for the current course, and in wines, makes something I have but don't understand, all that more intriguing.

Sweet, yeah, I like chocolate for that, not wine. Got some Polish chocolates that are subtle and pure but love those truffles that make you suck hard.

Magnolias-blooming said...

truffles hey! sucking hard too hey!
well thats all Im going to say about that.....Next topic!lol

gwen said...

DK

im not avoiding you or Bren, my phone and pc just gave up on me so i havent been here for awhile and additional work kept me away from the net for days.

oh banana and eggs huh! i love banana and eggs. take that as you want hehe

DreamerKind said...

@Louisa
Your remark about classy begs a question...

What is classy? Does that mean that someone is not being acceptable to others, by some kind of set of rules?

Tell me, is it true, that women in Australia are looked down upon for drinking hard liquor and that being feminine is the most important quality to have if you want to get a man?

Is your society, 20 years behind the rest of us, as far as equality.

Let me be the heavy, it suits me..

Magnolias-blooming said...

SO gwennie likes bannans and eggs....does she....I'll keep that in mind! lol

gwen said...

Louisa - LOL

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
I do forgive you the technological problems but don't like them. Have you contacted me on FB, hell no!

No matter, I am worrying for nothing, right?

Your family takes the best care of you and we are only Roselanders, and nightowls of not much merit.

Magnolias-blooming said...

Well I dont think its an Australian Equality thing....Just a cultural thing....and remember...I was born here but have a Maltese prospective on such topics. Very old fashion my family.
Yes we drink and yes Australian women have the reputation to be drinkers. I think a typical Aussie man wouldn't mind his significant other to drink....
I myself dont drink a whole lot....Actually very rarely get drunk...Although I like a glass of wine or 2 with my meal and when we are with friends....But when we are together 3 or 4 bottles get polished off in no time..

Classy: When I say that I sort of mean....our conversation is speaking of things on a comfortable level but on a ......dare I say it....but I will...and No pun intended either...OK
A spicy level topic of conversation....Im not being stuck up or anything...I usually talk about everything to my GF's in RL....
Yer I also think Australians are behind in some things...Although it depends what you are comparing it to.

gwen said...

Why does that, not suit you! lol
Not suit that you are the heavy, I mean.....It just dosent for some reason....You seem the more timid type not the heavy....I could be wrong...lol

Bidin' My Time

Foursome-1939
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceQN_hvcNl0

Some fellas love to tiptoe through the tulips,
Some fellas go on singing in the rain,

Some fellas keep on painting the skies with sunshine,
Some fellas keep on a swinging down the lane.

But, I'm bidin' my time,
Cause that's the kind of guy I'm,

While other folks grow dizzy,
I keep busy,
Bidin' my time.

Next year, next year,
Somethin's bound to happen,

This year, this year,
I'll just keep on nappin',

And bidin' my time,
Cause that's the kind of guy I'm,

There's no regretin',
When I'm settin',
Bidin' my time.

I'm bidin' my time,
Cause that's the kind of guy I'm,

Beginnin' on a Monday,
Right through Sunday,
Bidin' my time.

Next year,
This year,

I'm bidin my time,
Cause that's the kind of guy I'm,

Strangers so long,
I'll just go along
Bidin, bidin, bidin' my time.

Give me, give me,
Glass that's bright and twinkles,

Let me, let me,
Dream like Rip Van Winkle.
He's bided his time,

Like that Winkle guy,
I'm chasin' 'way flies,

How the day flies,
Bidin' my time.

Thank you/tmmvds

Morning has broken, like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird

Praise for the singing, praise for the morning
Praise for the springing fresh from the word

Sweet the rain's new fall, sunlit from heaven
Like the first dewfall, on the first grass

Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden
Sprung in completeness where his feet pass

Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning
Born of the one light, Eden saw play

Praise with elation, praise every morning
God's recreation of the new day

Popping in to say good morning!

It's a balmy 30 degrees this morning. Yesterday it was 12 BELOW zero! Your nostrils actually stuck together when you tried to breathe outside. Yikes!

We feed the birds all winter long and yesterday AM it was so cold....how cold was it???....that we had no takes at the feeders. All the birds were too busy trying to stay warm. Any other bird watchers out there?

Congrats to all you football game winners.

@Annie~The Jets got close...they needed to bring their game earlier, instead of during the second half:/

Have a twirly day:)

Good morning Roseland,
I too, am in and out quickly this beautiful morning.

Thank you again for great tunes overnight. Here Comes the Sun and Morning has Broken have already made my day!

Eggs/breakfast food....love it any time of the day or night.

Happy Australia Day Louisa. Day at the beach sounds wonderful...even with all the heat. Toasty warm sounds good right about now.

Taking a lesson from DK, only a week instead of a month however,.....will be serving famous flourless chocolate cake with strawberries, whipped cream and 5 dozen candles all this week in celebration of my big day. For those who don't do chocolate, there will also be cheesecake, bread pudding, rice pudding, and peach cobbler on the dessert buffet! Hey, its once a year! Oh, and it's BYO for the liquid refreshments! Life is beautiful, but my, how do all those years fly by so quickly when I'm still having so much fun!

Love and hugs Roseland,
Off to work!

DreamerKind said...

@Olivia
