Rob and Kristen- Now You Know...

I'm not sure what to say today.
Perhaps I shouldn't say anything at all.
I'm sure that would make a lot of people happy.

Rob and Kristen have been pretty much off the radar.
A sighting here and there...
Nothing substantial.
No pictures.

I guess they will be filming the wedding scene soon.
That's a nice thought.
I remember the description of Edward in the book...
Bella couldn't look at anyone but him.

All I really saw was Edward’s face; it filled my vision and overwhelmed my mind.
His eyes were a buttery, burning gold; his perfect face was almost severe
with the depth of his emotion.
And then, as he met my awed gaze,
he broke into a breathtaking smile of exultation.

Bella Swan, Breaking Dawn, Chapter 3, p.48

Am I silly to think that Robert will be able to do this
without much acting?
His perfect face... severe with the depth of his emotion.
So Edward.
So Robert.

Yes. I can differentiate between Edward and Robert.
But you can always see how Rob feels by just looking at his face...
Especially when he is looking at Kristen.
Sometimes life really does imitate art.

I'm not sure where this picture comes from.
But the more I look at it...
It kinda makes me sad.

Rob just looks... tired.
Tired of cameras.
Tired of intrusion.
Tired of people watching his every move.

I don't know who took this picture.
If it was a friend...
Or someone who just couldn't let the man have some peace.

From the look on his face...
It doesn't seem to matter.

I was laughing, actually laughing, and there wasn’t even anyone watching.
I felt so weightless that I laughed again, just make the feeling last longer.

Bella Swan, New Moon, Chapter 6, p.141

Kristen.
How can anyone look at that face...
and hate on her?
Look at her.
Really look.
She's so young...
So sweet.

How can anyone be so vile and cruel to someone
that they don't even know?
I'm not talking about an occasional jab here and there
No one can escape that...
Not everyone is going to 'like' her.
I'm talking about constant attacking and shredding.
The daily hostile and vehement assaults.
And for what?
To what purpose?
It's not going to change anything in your life.
It's not going to change anything in hers.
If anything...
It just makes Rob and Kristen even closer.
I imagine he is quite protective of her.

There’s something… strange about the way you two are together.
The way he watches you — it’s so… protective.
Like he’s about to throw himself in front of a bullet to save you or something.

Renée Dwyer, Eclipse, Chapter 3, p.67

I keep thinking about WFE.
I keep thinking about how it will affect Rob's career.
Oh how I hope this movie does well.

Again... I guess this sounds kinda silly...
But I'm so PROUD of Rob.
He knows what he wants to do with his career...
He has attached himself to great projects.
I find myself looking forward to WFE so much.
Not only because Robert looks amazing in what we
have seen so far...
But because it has become quite the talk of 2011.

Moviefone's 75 films we can't wait to see this year.

The Buzz: All eyes are on Pattinson as he takes on another major role
outside of the ‘Twilight’ series; Oscar buzz has already begun.

OSCAR BUZZ!!
Oh do I dare to dream?
Robert is definitely capable of giving this kind of performance.
I cannot wait!

That. That right there is why I’m angry. You are killing my buzz, Edward.

Bella Cullen, Breaking Dawn, Chapter 5, p.91

OK.
So one of the constant debates in this fandom
(and there are so many to choose from)
Is why don't Rob and Kristen just come out as a couple?
Well?
I could be incredibly selfish here and wish that
they could just relax and not worry about all the world watching.
And you know the whole world is watching...
I would love for them to shut up the haters who like
to spin that Rob can't wait to get rid of her.
But we all know it wouldn't change a thing.
There would always be excuses.
Rationalizations.

So anyway...
A dear friend of mine left some wonderful comments
on this blog last night...
Giving her point of view about this whole debate.
I liked it.
A lot.
So I thought I would share it with you.

I love the ideas you have for Rob and Kristen. You are right, I think they have manufactured this entire thing. She's gay (or dating Garrett maybe) and he's gay (or a manwhore) and they are dating each other but trying to get more PR by hiding it. I mean it is brilliant really, pretend to be private about a relationship and get tons of those happy paps to follow you around day and night, night and day. Who WOULDN'T love that type of life??? I mean, people leave celebrities alone if they just give them what they want right? Its not like people stalk actors and their families.

But see now wait, because I am pretty sure that last summer some might clear pictures DID surface of Rob and Kristen kissing. And they got them before that at a KOL concert. Then there were the pictures from airports and at a restaurant, and in cabs, and that whole thing where they were on vacation and NOT working and there are more. So in a way, they have been sort of confirmed as a couple. Plus, when they are asked, if there was NO relationship wouldn't it be easier to just deny it? I would if I were them. Unless....hmmmm....well just go with me on this one, unless it was like really important for them to try to keep something that is private just to themselves. I mean, even with all of that confirmation from the wonderful paps, they STILL get followed and chased and asked a lot of really funny questions. So maybe they just would rather not. I mean, they are not under contract to share every detail of their lives. Actually they are not under contract to share ANY part of their lives. All they are under contract to do is act and promote the films they do. Other than that, I am pretty sure, they are allowed to protect and defend the rest of their lives.

Sure I am thinking, its not the usual Hollywood game. I mean you are right. A lot of actors sell themselves and the details of their lives. But maybe these two just don't want that. Maybe neither of them knew what they were really getting into and maybe neither of them ever wanted any of this and maybe, they don't really give a shit what the business people say about how to "handle" their relationship? Maybe they just want to do their jobs and do them well but then have a personal life that is just theirs. Maybe promoting it, selling it, cheapens it and maybe it matters to them so much they REFUSE to do that. And yes, they probably know what you are saying...they know that it might be easier in some ways, to just go out there and announce it, but isn't that giving it away....selling it?

I think that is exactly what Kris and Rob should do. I think that they should have a disgusting make-out session on the red carpet at either the Oscars or the BAFTA's. Think of the money they could make and the tickets that would be sold to BD. But wait, its not out for like 9 months or something right. And crap, Rob has WFE first. Okay let's rethink this. How about Rob and Reese make out on the carpet at the Oscars. Crap I think she just got engaged. That won't be a problem if they pay her enough because, god knows, everyone in Hollywood lacks morals and will do anything for money right? None of these people have any real feelings or emotions.

He’s very intense about you… and very careful.
I feel like I don’t really understand your relationship.
Like there’s some secret I’m missing…

Renée Dwyer, Eclipse, Chapter 3, p.67

Now you know.
No one’s ever loved anyone as much as I love you.

Bella Cullen, Breaking Dawn, Chapter 39, p.753

Smitty - The appropriate response,as far as I'm concerned? - Explain how it could have been misinterpreted and then drop it!!

Kenzz said...

Smitty:

Not having seen the pic I can only go on your assertion that it wasn't too bad or overtly sexual...

That being said, 2 weeks of what amounts to social isolation seems a wee bit going overboard, but the parents probably want to make sure she stays an "angel".

But there needs to be some sort of consequence...can she approach her parents with an alternate plan? Perhaps once they've had a day or two to gain a little perspective, they'll realize they've overreacted and might appreciate a more appropriate "punishment" plan being presented to them in a mature way by their daughter?

Just a thought :) Good luck helping her out of this situation! You're a good friend...

Anonymous said...

Thanks Kenzz!

My solution is that I am going to overnight her a phone that is ready to go and to hell with the stupid rules.

LJ said...

Ha! yeah well chance would be a fine thing in that department Smitty! ;-)

According to the teacher it strengthens up something that makes you less likely to piss yourself when your old...I wanted to say all I want to do is be able to put my legs behind my head and I'll be happy!

Oh and yeah, I think that punishment is way too harsh (that okay? lol).

Kami said...

Smitty thank you I'll pass your response on to Alexis

As for your question...I think the parents totally overreacted.

Understand their concern but totally overreacted

Anonymous said...

Hey Liza,

Why do you want to be able to put your legs behind your head?

angelica1 said...

Yeah Liza,it's more fun putting them behind...someone else's head

Elaine said...

Smitty-

Not that I know anything about handling these kind of situations, but, did you ever ask the girl what her reaction was when the mother approached her?
In my experience the mother just probably went a little bananas as she probably wants to PROTECT her daughter from everything. Being as the girl is an ANGEL and from your description I could not AGREE with you more! I am sure the mother LOVES AND ADORES her daughter and that by now they have probably discussed the situation and it has been resolved. I am sure the mother has come to her "SENSES" and the punishment that seemed so harsh in the beginning no longer applies. And the POUT that was probably on the girls face has been replaced with a BEAUTIFUL SMILE! But it is ADORABLE that the girll has such a GOOD friend that tag teams her mother and from the look of things the mother NEVER stood a chance!

Love you!

Park it again Angelica!

I gotta go work...bye guys!

angelica1 said...

Later Smitty!!

Anonymous said...

E well thank god you finally came to your senses! You just can't ever do anything to make her unhappy Elaine--seriously. She needs to be happy all the time so don't do that again please.

Tell Em I gotta go work but I'll talk to her tonight.

Love you too btw, even if you do totally overreact!! And yes, I know you want to protect her but two weeks??? Come on that was way way out of line.

Now should you be making her a sundae or something--lol!!

I see Smitty has left, but in case anyone else is interested, it is hard to raise kids with the internet so prominent in their lives. The internet is a really scary place especially to parents. I think the mom was just trying to impress that fact on the daughter. In my experience, I usually overreacted first and then after a day or two would relent after discussing all the ramifications with the errant child.

Elaine said...

Smitty-

Already on it! LOL

PL-

Thanks for understanding!

Mary said...

Elaine,

Nobody understands fully until they are a parent. I suspect a certain someone will think differently when it is their child and this occurs.

Kenzz said...

PL: At the risk of being seen as condenscending towards one big-hearted young lady, I agree with you that things are always different on the other side of the table!

Elaine, good for you for being willing to compromise with what sounds like a wonderful daughter...if she's as sweet as Smitty says, you are obviously a great Mom!

Mary said...

Kenzz,

I realized it was a bit condescending but until you walk in those shoes...

Everytime you read about a kid getting caught up in something via the internet I always think, that could have been us.

Elaine said...

Kenzz-

I try-but she really makes the job easy! She's truly a blessing!

angelica1 said...

Elaine - I got an easy one too,she actually listens to advice! I feel very remorseful towards my mother now.

Elaine said...

Angelica-

I was telling someone earlier that I felt like calling my parents to apologize! LOL

E if we have kids I hope I am half a good as you and the other moms are.

LJ said...

Oh I don't know Smitty I just thought it may come in handy one day....something to show them in the old folks home!

*Oh look fellow old geezers, I don't piss myself and I can do THIS*

Hi Elaine :)

Mary said...

Elaine and Angelica,

I think knowing what you thought and did at that age makes us be more vigilant.

My husband always used to tell our son, "I know what is on a young man's mind at all times. Keep it in your pants."

SueBee said...

Hallelujah! Holy shit! Taxes are done!

Where's the Tylenol? LOL

Elaine said...

Smitty-

I'm sure you'll get it down right when the time comes. Sometimes I feel like I have no clue-lol-kind of trial and error thing!

Liza-

My god!!! It's been too long. Hope you are well honey it's great to "see" you here!

Kenzz said...

Susan...CONGRATS!

I can't get motivatedto drag everything out...I usually procrastinate untl the weekend before April 15th..

LJ said...

Hey Suse!

Hi Elaine darling, great to hear from you too! Sounds like everything is going fabulously for you guys, I'm soooo pleased :-D

Kenzz said...

Smitty:

You'll make a great Mom because you have such an open heart...that, and simple common sense, and you'll be halfway there!

Liza:

Picturing you in the old folks home showing off your yoga skills has filled my quota for humor for the day! Thanks :)

SueBee said...

Thanks Kennzz.

I need to figure out a way to unwind now. I'm all bunged up.

Although Mr. Bee has professed his undying love for doing it for him.

You are sooo right!
You know what's funny-a few weekends ago I had a night out with a girlfriend. When we came home we were a little tipsy and just joking around--she was totally acting like the adult, even said "sometimes I think I was born to be my mothers mother" LOL

Goes to show you parenting works both ways!

SueBee said...

Liza, my love! How are you?

Mary said...

Smitty,

Never say never. The first baby I ever held was my own. Kids scared the heck out of me.

Suse! I'm great thanks...and it's Friday tomorrow, hallelujah!

How are you love?

Elaine said...

Liza-

Everything is great! (as you have seen here just a tiny issue). Good to know you are good-keep up the yoga! We are doing the hot one and good lord! that shit is kicking our asses!

Susan-Congratulations!!! Have a drink or 20!

There is no way to really wrap your brain around being a mom until the baby is placed in your arms. Trust me--it's love at first sight.

SueBee said...

LJ said...

Thanks Elaine, I'm thinking of trying Zumba. Have you tried that?

Although I'm not sure the world is ready for my ultra cool Zumba moves! LOL

Elaine said...

Smitty-

Woman! all I gotta say is that payback sucks! LOL
Hope I'm around to tag team your ass when the time comes!

Elaine said...

Liza-

I've heard about zumba, but have not tried it! It seems really fun. And like you I am afraid that people will not be able to handle my amazing zumba moves!

SueBee said...

I envy anyone who can do zumba.

I'm so clumsy that I make walking a contact sport!

angelica1 said...

Susan - That made spit coke all over my keyboard! I'm not clumsy, just extremely competitive, I break a lot of bones,my own mostly

I'm competitive too so I would be bound to break a hip and take a few others with me.

Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite!

Beatles:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Khsn-nXBxs0

For the benefit of Mr. Kite
There will be a show tonight on trampoline

The Hendersons will all be there
Late of Pablo Fanques Fair-what a scene

Over men and horses hoops and garters
Lastly through a hogshead of real fire!

In this way Mr. K. will challenge the world!
The celebrated Mr. K.
Performs his feat on Saturday at Bishopsgate

The Hendersons will dance and sing
As Mr. Kite flys through the ring don't be late

Messrs. K and H. assure the public
Their production will be second to none

And of course Henry The Horse dances the waltz!
The band begins at ten to six
When Mr. K. performs his tricks without a sound

And Mr. H. will demonstrate
Ten summersets he'll undertake on solid ground
Having been some days in preparation

A splendid time is guaranteed for all
And tonight Mr. Kite is topping the bill.

Thank you/AuthorizedRock

And I've read the ethical Q's, but have no coherent response right now.. and it may not be the best time to ask me as I have been displaying some latent violent tendencies recently... (I totally blame the cold medicine)

Hey DK.. I have a question for you..

Have you ever considered starting your own music blog? For reals? People seem to enjoy your musical musings, so I bet they'd really love it if you had your own site to talk about music on...

OoooooOOoohh.. You should totally call it "Some Enchanted Evening with Dreamer" That'd be awesome.

It's just a thought.. heh?

Kay, well it did stop me in my tracks to get an e-mail from a man who has been dead nearly a year...however I soon realized what must have happened because I can't picture Ronnie sending me a message that said "Kami enlarge your Pennis" on the title line, ...then inside said "Never buy her flowers again" "Bootylarge.com from the grave lol

Right now, I'm doing a favor for Smitty, Gruff and Syd, in honor of our Rose.

So, feel free to ask for your favorites, anytime.

I'm great, considering having to spend another snow day home with my teenage daughter...man, not only do they eat, but how much can a girl TALK? I actually hid in the bathroom for an hour with my Kindle for a break!

Kay said...

Hi Freddie, I'm good. :) How are you doing?

Freddie said...

Penny - yeah, my cat leaves "goo" around too.....or is that poo??

Rhonda said...

Hello Roseland!

Appears you ladies had quite the time this afternoon :)

Liza! Missed you again! I'm not much for yoga but I have tried Zumba and it's a lot of fun!

Angelica and Smitty- I had to laugh reading your comments about kegels and pelvic exercises. As someone who used to work in women's services..I have taught many women about the importance of doing them. And while I respect the medical rationale behind it...I completely agree there are many and much more exciting ways to strengthen that part of our bodies..LOL!

Elaine and Penny- I think you both are probably pretty terrific mothers :)

Kami- The ethics question really makes you think...

Hi to Everyone :)

Kenzz said...

Kami:

Did you end up with a good amount of responses to Alexis' Ethics question?

Rhonda said...

Tracy- I forgot to say..I'm sorry you're sick. Feel better soon :)

Kenzz- How bad are you snowed in?

Freddie said...

Is anyone else having trouble posting??? I submitted a post that isn't showing and I can't see the most recent entries...

Kay said...

Freddie - maybe that is why Smitty posted "test"? I haven't noticed anything other than I thought everyone had gone off to watch American Idol.

Rhonda said...

Freddie- I haven't had any trouble so far :)

Freddie said...

Hi Kay - I tried to answer before, but either I screwed up or blogger decided it didn't like my answer. So here goes again.

I'm good today, and getting better as we get closer to the weekend. I survived the dentist this morning (and I'm a real chicken when it comes to dentists - so I'm lucky my dentists caters to cowards) and I managed to get out to lunch today rather than grabbing a quick bite and eating at my desk. So it was a banner day.

Freddie said...

Hey Rhonda - how are you today?

Mary said...

Kenzz,

Hiding in the bathroom to get away from a chatty daughter? You know that goes full circle. I hide in the bathroom to get away from my chatty mother when she visits.

Kay said...

Freddie....it sounds like your day turned out pretty well, considering you started with the dentist. :)

Super RN Gas Passer said...

RHONDA..Hello dear girl..L O V E your picture...arent you the flirt (mask to cover your loveley face)... lol How was work today?

TRACY...I hope you feel better soon.

KENZZ...I can totally relate to hiding out with the Kindle..I do it all the time. That Kindle is one of the best things I have ever had..So sorry about the weather there! So much for global warming.

Hi SUE BEE, PL,KAY and FREDDIE..Talking about feeding the "family" I feel like I spend alot of time at the grocery store buying food for humans and pets.

Freddie said...

Kenzz - I laugh at the kids today. With cell phones, kids seem to always be talking on them or texting. Can't they just have a quiet moment or be comfortable just being by themselves for a few minutes?

Rhonda said...

Hi Freddie- I hate going to the dentist too. I hope it wasn't that bad. I'm really good--all is well, thanks :)

Hi Super- Work was good. Not terribly busy until this afternoon. How was your day?

Freddie said...

Rhonda - let's just say that I got off easy, since I hadn't been to a dentist for a REALLY long time. My dentist didn't even lecture me. She's really calm, cool - so I like her.

olivia said...

Hi everyone, *waves*,
Love the discussion on children! : )
Parenthood........when you are young and beginning your family, some may think the responsibility and worry will be mostly until the children are at least around 22, 23, 24. and out on their own.......the big secret.....it's for life. Thank goodness we love them so much!

Agree with several of you that parenting today, with all the instant communication available, both audio and visual, has created a whole new ballgame filled with unique and sometimes dangerous challenges to navigate.

Kami, on the ethics question, the second situation is worse. Premeditated unkindness is just downright ugly.

Taxes....hate doing them, but I do them myself. Usually takes between an hour or two. Congratulations SueBee for doing them so soon. It is a good feeling when you have them complete and ready to send in. Hooray for money back!

Freddie, glad your day went well. Count me in as one who dislikes making those visits even though I am fortunate to have a wonderful dentist.

LOL, I am guilty for having used the "bathroom retreat" as valuable thinking time, gather my patience time, make an escape time and just give myself a time out time when I was raising a teenager.

Take care y'all. Will peek in early tomorrow morning
Hugs

Rhonda said...

Freddie- That's good. At least you have cool one..mine likes to lecture..and I go every 6 months!

Freddie said...

Hi Super - yeah... between food and meds for Tom, I think I spend more on him that I do on food for myself.

Rhonda said...

Hi Olivia!

How are you?

Freddie said...

Hi Olivia - love your posts. Have a good evening.

SueBee said...

Thanks Olivia. It's a huge relief!

Kenzz said...

Rhonda: In regards to the snow amounts, let's just say I've installed a roll-out ladder on the second story windows just to leave the house...lol

PL: Sounds like we share the same mother! My daughter doesn't get it from any stranger!

Super: I love my Kindle, too! Does it make me a bad mother to use it to hide from my family sometimes? :)

Freddie: Hoping it was a relief to have completed the dental appointment! Today I wished she would go text someone, or get on FB, or something!! haha It was a LONG day...cabin fever for me.

Rhonda said...

Hi Susan-

Did the closet get finished?

Kenzz said...

HI Olivia! *waves*

Rhonda said...

Kenzz- LOL..I heard some places got like 19" of snow! That's crazy!

I want to buy a Kindle..I think it would be great when I travel.

Freddie said...

Thanks Kenzz. Next week I have the pleasure of going back for a cleaning and my dental hygenist really, really loves her job. I usually come out with my mouth aching. Oh well, better than gumming my food in future years.....

I hope you manage to dig out tomorrow and escape the cabin.

SueBee said...

Rhonda

Not yet. It's a pretty big job with the drywall and all. Mr. Bee gets to it when he isn't working.
:o)

Rhonda said...

Susan

That's cool. And congrats on the taxes..maybe you've inspired me to tackle mine :)

Kenzz said...

Rhonda:

I wasn't sure if I'd want a Kindle (cause I enjoy reading an actual book), but now that I've had one for a few weeks, I love it! The ability to get a new book immediately is invaluable!

I'm traveling to San Diego in March, and Ft. Meyers in April, so I think it will be worth it just for the long plane rides. Also, the Kindle is supposedly the only e-reader to read well in direct sunshine. I tried it outside on a bright sunny day, and it was perfect!

Well, enough of my product testimonial! i think at a later date I'll caucus the ladies of Roseland about their experiences in San Diego..I have no idea the vibe there....is it dressy, bohemian, casual?

getting ready to head to bed soon...hope you all have a great Friday & weekend!

Rhonda said...

DK- #25 is one of my all time favorites! You're so nice to do this for Rose :)

And your avi is the funniest thing ever!

Freddie said...

Good night Kenzz.

Rhonda said...

Kenzz- I love my books too..but to have them all in one place when you travel would be awesome!

Hey we wanted to go to the beach so I guess that will be our excuse..product testing..LOL!

Hope you have a great night and keep that ladder close by :)

Super RN Gas Passer said...

RHONDA..It was very good today. I have been home a few home a few hours..hope to have a quiet night.

KENZZ..Yes it is OK to hide out sometime..Especially since you r snowed in..I can identify with the cabin fever..sometimes I think, we are better parents if we can get some quiet reflective and restful moments AWAY from them! lol

OLIVIA.. Hello to you... I have read Kamis comments..I know we arent troll status, but I think she has given us FOOD for THOUGHT..we should examine our motives when we start to make comments that are making fun of others and/or we know our true heart may harbor feelings of malice maybe because someone else is getting some "well deserved" recognition. Each person that contributes to this blog(not trolls)is special and brings a unique "flavor" to it..it is NOT cool to attempt to cheapen or insinuate that someone should MOVE on to a different venue. If ROSE is not happy with someone, I am sure she would let them know.

Kenzz said...

Sweet dreams Freddie, Rhonda, & Susan (& Mr. BEE)..I think everyone else has gone to sleep :)

Looking forward to a fresh post from Queen Rose tomorrow... I'll keep my fingers crossed (and in honor of Smitty and Liza's earlier posts, I'll keep my legs crossed, too, in order to strengthen my Kegels...lol)

Kenzz said...

Goodnite Super... what a thoughtful post to end the evening...you rock!

Rhonda said...

Super- That's really sweet :)

Mary said...

Super,

That was just WOW. I don't know why I'm surprised. I can't say I didn't know you had it in you.

Kami said...

Thank you everyone for helping Alexis with this Ethics paper, she will be so happy when I send her all the responses.

I'm also glad that it has given everyone food for thought like Super said...especially me...I realized I needed to face the mean things I've said and done all in the guise of just having fun. I never meant to hurt anyone, but this question has made me realize that I probably have, and for that I really am sorry. I think that what makes this blog special is that we are all so very different. What a dull and unappealing world it would be if we were all the same.
So this has been a rough day for me coming to terms with the fact that sometimes I'm a mean, rotten, and as my grandmother used to say...little shit. I can't promise I will never do it again, I can just say I will try.

Thanks again for all the help yall it will help Alexis a whole bunch.

Susan...I meant to say earlier that I'm really glad you finished your taxes and will be able to do some shopping soon...I hope I will be able to say the same thing when mine are done!

Tracy feel better soon!

SueBee said...

Super

I understand about trolls and whatnot but who on the blog isn't nice to each other?

Rose said...

Am I missing something? Who am I supposed to ask to leave?
:-/

SueBee said...

Rose

I didn't get it either? I had to have missed something.

Rhonda said...

Hi Kami and Rose :)

Kami said...

Hi Rhonda!

Mary said...

Interesting conversations tonight.

Hi Rose and Rhonda

Rose said...

Hmmm. Well SueBee... lets have a glass of wine and contemplate our dilemma. It might take a while :)

Kay said...

You know what, the great thing about Roseland is that we are ALL individuals. With our own thoughts and ideas. Everyone reads and interprets things with their own thoughts and biases. What one person may see in a posting is not always what another sees and it may be different still from what the original poster ment. We can't always presume to know what someone means.

SueBee said...

Rose

sounds like a plan to me

Kami

I hope you get your taxes done soon too! Its such a relief

Rose said...

Hi girls!

Here's something to make you all smile... Tom :)

http://www.tom-sturridge.com/2011/01/27/two-clips-from-waiting-for-forever/

Rose said...

Can I just say that I love tom's voice... but its EVER so much sexier with his natural British accent...

Rhonda said...

Kami- How are you?

Hi Penny :)

SueBee said...

Can't get it to play. Is he doing an American accent?

Cate said...

Can I have a beer while we are contemplating?

It goes better with my moob :)

Is it air dirty laundry night?

Mary said...

Rhonda,

Guess what happened today? It snowed. Nasty mess in the parking lot made it really hard to push the shopping cart or buggy as some of you call it.

SueBee said...

Cate

What's a moob? LOL

Here's a beer, hon.

Susan

Rhonda said...

Rose- I will join you..I'm having a glass of red right now.

Cheers!

Rose said...

Yes SueBee... its an American accent. It seems strange coming out of his purty mouth.... lol

Anonymous said...

Forgive me...

I don't have wine, drank what was left of my bottle last Sunday when I cooked with it, but given the medication issue.. wine may not be a good choice..

So maybe I can shorten this little tete-a-tete.. hmm??

Got something you want to say directly to someone RN? Or are you going to try to be subtle and indirectly leave a comment to someone because you're displeased with something that you perceived to have been said or done? I've got no problems with honesty, so if you have questions or concerns, then ask away.

And I'm *so* looking forward to watching Waiting For Forever :) Can't wait to hear him doing that Americano accent.

SueBee said...

Penny

Snowed here too, again, damn it. LOL

Kay said...

Thanks, Rose!! :) Who knew Tom could juggle?!

Kami said...

Good Rhonda thanks for asking

SueBee said...

I'm still a sucker for a British accent.

Wildhart007 said...

Hi! Roselanders!

Been a long couple of days at work then come home hoping for a hot shower and find a connection to the hot water heater leaking. ugh!

Super you answered Kami's ethic dilema with a very good point, and I agree with you.

DK thanks for the Beatles songs. ROCK ON woman! Thanks for the lyrics also. I learned words for the USSR song I didn't know were there. smile

My work gave me a plaque with a picture of events from 1986 for my 25 year service award this week. It included the movie Top Gun, Oprah going nationwide, MLK day, Jack nickaluas and the staue of Liberty 100 year anniversary. All I could think is where is Robert Pattinson. Guess I'll have to paste his picture on it. LOL

Linda

Rhonda said...

Hi Cate!

Penny- Lol..it's a 'buggy'!!
I'm shocked that it snowed..it so rarely does in your little corner of the world! LOL :)

Rhonda said...

Hi Linda and Kay!

Susan- I love the accent too :)

Tracy- do you feel any better?

Freddie said...

Rose - you are definitely smitten!!!

I couldn't get it to play either, but I would agree that Tom's real accent would be sexier.

Cate said...

Thanks Suse!

How soon we forget about the man boobs?!

Is it the fact that men have tight hind ends that make it impossible for them to not have streaks?

Dirty laundry ?

Reply in any accent.

Hi everyone!

SueBee said...

Cate

The only accent I have is plain midwestern American!

kind of boring.

Man boobs! That'll put you off your food.

Rhonda said...

Rose

Do you know when 'Waiting for Forever' will be released?

Wildhart007 said...

Hi! Rhonda

Hope your snow all melted like ours did. I'm about done having to drive in this mess. Beautiful but stressful.

Kay said...

LOL Cate! I had to read that twice to believe what I was actually reading! :)

Anonymous said...

Waiting For Forever gets released on February 4th! :) I've already got a date going with me to see it!!

SueBee said...

Hi Kay!!!

Rhonda said...

Linda

Yep, it's mostly all gone. I think were supposed to warm up for awhile now :)

Cate said...

Kay,

Well if were contemplating shit lets really talk shit!

lol

SueBee said...

Tracy

Are you cheating on me? I wanna go!!!

Kay said...

Hey Susan :) Are you sure that you have a midwestern accent.....people I know from Ohio lean towards southern.....

Rhonda said...

Sounds like fun Tracy!

Kay said...

Congratulations on 25 years, Linda!! woo hoo!!! :)

SueBee said...

Kay

Really? I wish I had a southern accent. I like those too! Just plain flat sounding is what I am.

Rhonda said...

Cate

LOL..to be honest..I'm not sure exactly what were talking about!

Besides Tom and wine of course :)

Wildhart007 said...

Thanks Kay, it's half my life. Really makes you start thinking about things.

Hope to go see Tom's new movie when it comes out also.

By the way, I would trade my southern accent. I think it makes me sound like a hick.

Linda

Anonymous said...

Suse!! It's none of my current lovers, so don't worry.. just a potential fling.. pshh.. nothing to worry about :) We're doing dinner and a movie..

And I don't have a southern accent, but technically, I guess I'm not *from* the south, so makes sense.. Not sure what you'd qualify mine as to be honest..

but there is a very distinct difference between the pronunciation of pen and pin.. just sayin ;)

Rose said...

Man oh man... I have got some really interesting emails lately.
Good Blog stuff.
You would think the Hyenas would just give up.
;)

Rhonda said...

Susan

You might not like a Southern accent if you heard mine :)

I'm sure your own accent is lovely just the same :)

Mary said...

Rose,

Anything you can share?

SueBee said...

I don't know, Linda. I think a good southern drawl is sexy.

Kay said...

Rose, you think their heads would have exploded by now.....looking forward to your next blog post!! :)

Rose said...

Believe it or not... a few from people who think that IOW was fake. that Rob and Kristen NEVER were there. Good shit.

Rhonda said...

Rose

Do you feel guilty if you don't post everyday? You shouldn't :)

Tracy- Do you live in the South?

Mary said...

Rose,

I'm waiting for them to say that the reason Snow White interest in Kristen is coming out now is to take away from the attention Rob is getting for WFE and that other movie cosmop whatever.

Rose said...

No, I dont feel guilty...
I just usually have a lot of thoughts. But sometimes the bullshit gets so deep... It's hard to get through.

SueBee said...

Tracy

My mom is from Indiana and she says "ink pin" so we know she means "pen."

Freddie said...

Rose,

Is this like the whole "moon landing" conspiracy?

Rose said...

Oh exactly Penny! There is always a war between Rob and Kristen in their minds...
I dont get it.

SueBee said...

Sure Rob and Kris were in IOW--BUT it was their clones made my summit to further their cause. Everyone knows that.

Wildhart007 said...

Susan I don't think any sound from my accent can be construed as sexy. Have always wanted to say things crisply. I'll trade ya. lol

Rose your blogs are always spot on. I've been reading your early blogs. Made it to 2010 finally. It's been an interesting journey.
