Rob and Kristen- There Will Be a Next Time

Hello Gorgeous. And Gorgeous.
Rob on another cover of EW.
Love it.
He fucking OWNS this cover.
Look at him.
How can you NOT just stare at him?
He is the reason I subscribed to this magazine.
I haven't regretted it.
EW LOVES ROBERT PATTINSON!
And I, in turn... Love EW.

So the accompanying article was interesting.
I loved it. I thought it was great.
I've seen people interpreting his words all over the place.
See.
It all depends on what side of the fence you are on.
Let's take the following quote for instance...

EW: How was working with Reese?

Rob: She's really cool and just... never, ever annoying.
God that really is the worst description, isn't it?

OK.
So Hatesten
(And let's stop with the cutesy nicknames.
They HATE KriSTEN
You know it. I know it.)
Looks at this quote and rubs their paws together
in feral glee.
"Rob is saying how annoying THAT GIRL is!"

I look at this quote and see how adorable Rob is
with calling Reese "really cool ".
Sound familiar?
Of course it does.
It's how he described Kristen recently as well.
Hmmm.
So its an insult to Kristen when he calls her cool...
but it's grand praise when he says the same about Reese.
Funny how that works.
And we have Rob all bumbling about how to
describe his co-star.
Classic.

Who wouldn't want to put their nose near Rob's face?

EW: Where's home? Does L.A. feel like home at all?

Rob: Sometimes. I just started missing L.A. a bit when I leave it. But any city, I have a shelf life of about two months - then there's the paranoia. When I had a house here, you just really are waiting for it to be discovered. I'd love to have a place but I'd just be freaking out about it all the time. I'd be constantly thinking someone was going to come in and take stuff.

Hmmm.
Fascinating.
"WHEN I had a house here"
Um. No shit.
Of course they rented a house...
I can't believe people actually thought the guy was
living out of hotel rooms for such a long length of time.
It really does go back to that time when the Paps wouldn't
fucking leave Rob alone... and he practically begged them
to just take their pictures and go...
And they of course had no fucking feelings for
Robert as a human being and just stayed with him
and he said "I don't want you to follow me home"
Right.
Because if he was living in a hotel...
He would SURELY make such a huge fuss about that.
Who else do you think he was protecting?
Well... whose car was parked in the driveway?

;)

Pattinson. Robert Pattinson.

EW: Do you think after Twilight ends in 2012, You'll be able
to start living a more normal life?

Rob: It's funny how it's ending in 2012.
This is how the world will end.
But, um... I don't know.
I think most of people's recognition is based on the magazines
and stuff. All the gossip stories won't work--
They're always combined with Twilight,
So once that's done and it can't be combined with the
promotion of the film, I think it will end.
Because I have an obscenely boring life.

Oh man.
Once again Rob is bringing up the bullshit drama
that surrounds the Twilight phenomenon
(Can't ya just hear Oprah saying that?)
Of course Hatesten looks at this as Rob
telling the world that his relationship with Kristen
will end once the movies are done.
That's not what I see.
I see someone who just wants a 'normal' boring life.
Who wouldn't be tired of the constant stalking
harassment, screaming lunatics?
So once the movies are done...
His relationship can't be combined with promotion
of the Twilight movies.
He just wants his life back.

I don't think people get how insulting it is to insinuate
That Robert would 'pretend' to be in a relationship with someone
for the sake of promoting a movie that needs no promoting?
That people actually think hes so fake and shallow
that he would allow himself to be manipulated for YEARS
to act like he's romantically involved with Kristen.
Really?
Does that sound like Robert Pattinson?
This sincere, honest, modest man...
Would basically LIE to his fans year after year...
All for money? All for some movies?
Does money really seem that important to him?
How does ANY of that ring true about Rob in any way??

In an Italian Magazine called "STYLE"
Rob was quoted as saying (keep in mind this is translated)

in a long interview to Style he declares:
“Luxury hotels, hot models and designers buzzing around me?
All of them are traps, I want a quiet life.”
The actor continues: “I’m not interested in casual relationships,
I need to get to know people. I’m not making an existential statement:
I just want a family with two or three kids”.

Rob wants a QUIET LIFE.
He's not interested in casual relationships.
He wants a family.
I'm guessing it's with the person he is in a
REAL relationship with... Kristen.

Because as much as some people would like to believe
that everytime Rob and Kristen have been out in public
it was forced or staged or some kind of conspiracy theory
(I know... I know... scary)
There are far too many pictures out there
of two people spending an extraordinary amount of time
together doing stuff that have nothing to do with work.
Close stuff.
Family stuff.
Vacationing stuff.
Relationship stuff.

I know some people would like to imagine it never happened.
But it did.
And when it KEEPS happening?
Even when the movies are over and done...
What then?
Let's wait and see how long
until we see Rob and Kristen
together again...
In a completely Non-Twilight situation.
Together.
Again.
It won't be long.

Watch.
When is Kristen's birthday again?
:))

Hot bitch is fucking hot.

And speaking of magazine covers...
How was THIS not the cover of Rolling Stone??
They put that Snooki on the cover...
WTF does she have to do with music?
Kristen played a rock legend...
She sang and played guitar...
What else do you need to warrant a cover of Rolling Stone?

I know this was completely random...
But I had to throw a picture of beautiful Kristen
in my post somewhere... right?

Which one stays? The hat or the girl?

Final thoughts.

1. I'm SO excited about WFE.
I can't even put it into words.
Well... obviously I've tried and probably failed
But I'm just thrilled for Robert.
I want this movie to be HUGE
I want people to love Rob
Appreciate Rob
Adore Rob
and realize that he is much more than
a sparkly, brooding vampire.

2. Tom and Sienna.
Again.
Seriously... when was the last time you saw
so much of Tom?
Even when he is hanging out with Rob/Kristen
he doesn't seem to get this much press.
Is someone calling the paps?
Somehow I don't think it's Tom.
Doesn't seem his style.
Is Sienna geniunely interested in Tom?
Or does she want the world to see
(or specifically Jude Law)
How happy she is and that she has moved on?
Maybe a little of both?
Well... I can't complain because I get to
see Tom's adorable face.
OH!
And don't forget to vote for Tom
in MTV Movie Awards
For Male Breakout Star!
That would be so awesome!

How beautiful can two people be?

3. I got a few emails about pics I put on my blog.
I just want to say a couple of things.
I don't own ANY of the Rob pictures.
I have never claimed to.
I go to Rob sites or Google
and save the ones I like.
I know I don't 'source' them
but that's usually because I have no idea
who actually owns them.
I don't think taking them off someone else site
is 'stealing' because they don't own the pics either.
Unless you took the picture
You shouldn't be tagging them.
I realize there are a lot of Rob blogs out there
and they are competing for hits and followers...
But I'm not.
I'm not a 'news' blog.
I'm just an opinion blog.
So... I don't mean any harm
nor am I taking credit for something I didn't do.
I just like looking at Robert Pattinson.

4. Let the games begin!
Roll the dice!
This is going to be a GOOD time.
Oh yes.
Excitement is in the air!

This post is brought to you by the letter *T*

T for Tom Sturridge.
Just because.

Not that it ever did.

I love how he doesn't say that he wants to find someone to settle down with. That part is a done deal. Love those two!

Nice post, Rose :) The EW pictures and article are great. I am really looking forward to WFE and I think it will do awesome things for Rob's career. Here's hoping the bitter harpies will find a new hobby soon.....it is so much easier to just enjoy life instead of running around with your knickers in a twist all the time.

Have a good Thursday, Roseland! :D

I so want WFE to do well. I want people to appreciate Rob. My friends are all on a tirade again about what a crappy actor he is. "He's TERRIBLE" they scream on Facebook. "He has no emotion". I don't even answer them anymore. What's the point? So I hope he goes on to prove them all wrong. And the pictures in EW: I.am.dead. That's all. Just dead. Thanks for a great post, Rose.

Kenzz said...

Thank you Rose!!

That cover takes my breath away...old world glamour...sigh

BRAVO ROSE!

Hello to everyone in Roseland :)

Groovie said...

As always, great post with excellent points made!
EW does good interviews with Rob, all this wfe promo is exciting, can't wait for the film!

The haters will always try to twist Rob's words because they don't like what he has to say. He doesn't want casual relationships, he wants a quiet life and a family with 2 or 3 kids. Those aren't the words of a wild, partying manwhore like some of his "fans" want him to be. Those are the words of a young man who is serious about his future and knows what he wants, and his actions & words clearly show he wants Kristen.

Oh and how random is Rob at the country music awards!? I get why he is going, its good wfe promo. I never thought I would voluntarily watch a country awards show...but I have the dvr all set.

Hope u all had a great day, I'm gonna crash for a bit longer, need more sleep! Lol

Thanks for this post, Rose. As always I agree with how you interpret everything. Well thought out and insightful post.

Do you know what's happened to Delaney? She hasn't been around for a couple weeks. She didn't get in an accident or anything going to pick up her mom in Pajaro Dunes did she? If you're in touch with her, tell her we're worried about her okay?

Rhonda said...

Hi Rose,

Thanks for a lovely post. I can't really explain how I feel about the pics you used today, they are devastating :)

I can't wait for WFE. I think Rob is going to give us an amazing performance!

I can imagine Rob and Kristen settling down, having a few kids,
with a cat and a dog. Just leading a quiet life :)

I actually thought it was refreshing that EW did him the courtesy of mainly asking intelligent questions about his career,as they would of any other actor, rather than prying into and attempt to sensationalise, his personal life.

As far as the idiots are concerned, if they took their ridiculously overactive imaginations and focused as much time as they dedicate to coming up with insane theories, into something positive and creative, they'd be billionaires in no time!

Rhonda said...

Almost forgot..thanks, to everyone who sent their congrats for our new baby girl. Momma and baby are both doing great!

Thanks again :)

Dear Rose,

Thank you for the beautiful post today. So many wise points. I am with you and among those who imagine him as wanting a quiet, family life filled with the every day joys and challenges that come with being a well grounded, loving husband and father.

I believe that he shares these desires and future plans with an equally family oriented, exciting, challenging, beautiful, mature, and hardworking Kristen.

Rose, I hope you don't mind if I add a bit more of the same by e.e. cummings. Such a lovely poem filled with elements that are sensual, emotional and describing a gentle love.

"your slightest look will easily unclose me
though i have closed myself as fingers,
you open always petal by petal myself as Spring opens(touching skilfully, mysteriously)her first rose"

Hugs for y'all.
BBL after work.

Very nice post, Rose. I think Roseland missed you.

I am looking for something good to read. Anyone have any suggestions for a good easy read?

FanFicCrazy said...

I couldn't agree more with this post Rose!!! Except, I feel a little stronger about Tom & the cougar.. (although I do enjoy seeing him more) She really just grosses me out on many levels.. I am sure she's out for the exposure but ick! He's a young man looking for a good time.. This is crude I know but, I sure hope he's double wrapping. :( I haven't got my copy of EW in the mail yet! But Rob is the reason I subscribe as well! The pictures in there are just insane! HE really should be illegal! Too cute, too hot, too adorable, too sweet.. just to list a few! LOL I certainly will do my part to make WFE a success! :)

Mary said...

Lisa,

"Double wrapping", too funny.

You're probably going to get some backlash for that statement, though.

FanFicCrazy said...

Penny Lane, ah well.. It's how I feel.. Does she have a lot of supporters here? I haven't posted or read comments in forever!

Rhonda said...

Angelica- They would be billionaires 2 or 3 times over by now, lol :)

Olivia- I feel like I'm your blog stalker, but you write so beautifully, that I can't help but look for your comments :)

FanFicCrazy said...

Rose, what happened to the rest of Rob's songs that were on your player on the bottom of your blog? It's down to just 5.. :(

Freddie said...

Thanks for your post Rose. It is appreciated as always.

The EW pictures are truly wonderful. Kenzz you pegged it when you said it reminded you of old Hollywood glamour. This is so true. And like most of you, I really want this to be a huge success for Rob. He deserves it. He’s worked incredibly hard – all his co-stars have commented on this. He deserves success and I think it would be sweet coming on a project he is so enthused about.

I haven’t read the EW article yet, but will do so as soon as I get my hands on it. It should be a good read.

Rhonda - congratulations on your new family member. That's great news.

Olivia - I too have to compliment on your words and choice of poetry. Wonderful.

Hi Kay, Kenzz, Penny, dottie, Groovie, Angelica and everyone else I may have missed.

I’m off to find a copy of EW (hopefully) and with that, I’ll wish my friends in Roseland a wonderful day.

OMG Lisa, Double Wrapping..... LOL Ummmmm I have no idea who this girl Sienna even is too be honest. But dam, I have heard nothing but rude things about her since the pics of these two have come out the past few weeks.

I know are Tom is a smart guy. If he thinks she is using him For some reason I am confident he will tell her too FUCK off! :)

Hi angelica! :)

I am loving the new EW pics also. Rob and Reese look so mature and gorges of course. The interview was refreshing. I am always a bit weary too read "written" interviews with Rob.

OH YES. VOTE for TOM! I LOVE how Rose added that tidbit! :))

Great post! Even greater pics. As Kenzz stated he really does have the old Hollywood feel to him.

It's clear that Rob and Kristen know what they want and are achieving it. It seems that there are many Hollywood couples who are together only to gain something for themselves by being together.

It's refreshing to see a couple who are no doubt in demand yet still want a normal quiet life together instead of always being in the limelight.

Tom's hat...no doubt it will be around for a long time to come...the man likes to hang onto things it appears.

Hope everyone has a great rest of the evening.

Annie & Rhonda: I did enjoy the Three Weissmanns of Westport..if you've read Sense & Sensibility, I hear it's fun to try and match up her characters with Austen's.

Haven't read anymore of David Sedaris, but I'm certainly up for suggestions...there were a couple of passages in the book I read where I had to stop and catch my breath from laughing!

I don't know how much more of the hate I can take. I want to scream at these idiots to leave her alone, all she wants is her man and some privacy. I can't imagine how it feels to hear or read these words. I know she is supposed to be "tough" but after a while we all know it wears us down. As you know I am new to R/K and the whole Twilight thing and there are days the hate makes me sick to my stomach.
I can't F---ing WAIT until the saga is over and Rob and Kirsten get their life back. Honestly, what a dam shame.

Hi, Rose!! Excellent post!!

Robert looks absolutely gorgeous on the EW Cover!!! Yes, yes Reese looks beautiful but my eyes can't stop going to the deliciously handsome one...SWOON

The EW interview was awesome. Rob was funny, thoughtful and adorable. As for the IDIOTS, unfortunaly they will always distort every single Robert's word to fit their delusional agenda.

I am SO excited for Water For Elephants that my stomac twist and turns just thinking about it...I just absolutely CANNOT wait to see this movie. I am also really hoping to be a HUGE SUCCESS and from what I've seen so far I think it's on the right track because everything about this movie looks AMAZING to me and am sure Robert is going to be fantastic in it.

AWW, I can also totally picture Robert being a loving husband and an adorable father...with that one person, you know his only girl...the one with green eyes as wide as the moon YEAH, that would be stunning Miss, Kristen Stwart. :)

I obviously am voting for my lovelies Robert, Kristen and Tom at the MTV movie awards...NO question about that.

Ugh, yes. Thank you Rose. All this time that is all I've wanted anyone to answer...how does a movie franchise grossing north of a $1 Billion have any use whatsoever for a PR relationship?

They didn't start being seen together until after New Moon, why didn't Summit force it at the start? Before it had a psychotic following? That would have made more sense.

How did HP make all that money without forcing Emma and Rupert or Daniel and Bonnie into fake relationships? They didn't do it and neither did Summit. Unnecessary.

The Best Is Yet To Come

Tony Bennett:

Out of the tree of life I just picked me a plum
You came along and everything started to hum
Still it's a real good bet the best is yet to come

The best is yet to come and, babe, won't it be fine?
You think you've seen the sun but you ain't seen it shine

Wait till the warm-up's underway
Wait till our lips have met
Wait till you see that sunshine day
You ain't seen nothin' yet!

The best is yet to come and, babe, won't it be fine?
The best is yet to come, come the day you're mine

Come the day you're mine, I'm gonna teach you to fly
We're gonna taste of the wine
We're gonna drain the cup dry

Wait till your charms are right for these arms to surround
You think you've flown before but you ain't left the ground

Wait till you're locked in my embrace
Wait till I draw you near
Wait till you see that sunshine place
Ain't nothin' like it here!

The best is yet to come and, babe, won't it be fine
The best is yet to come, come the day you're mine

"Ho, ho"
Out of the tree of life I just picked me a plum
You came along
and everything started to hum...

And the cares that hung around me through the week
Seem to vanish like a gambler's lucky streak

When we're out together dancing cheek to cheek
Oh I love to climb a mountain

I want my arm(s) about you
That (Those) charm(s) about you
Will carry me through...

And my heart beats so that I can hardly speak
And I seem to find the happiness I seek

When we're out together dancing, out together dancing(swinging)
Out together dancing cheek to cheek

Thank you, Reese!

You look so fab in that veil with the rhinestones, and you have brought back a dear memory for DK.

My darling mother, wore such a veil, with rhinestones, and through your picture, she lives again. Maudlin, no, sentimental, yes. Inspiring and gotta have some fun, too.

Like it was, you have to lift my veil to kiss me, and then I'll be inclined to shed more of my attire, baby, times like those.

I think that women were having fun being mysterious in their veils, back in the fifties and before.

There was elegance and not only mystery but independence, for men did not wear veils, they wore hats.

Women wore hats, and men wore hats, and Tom wears hats, and Rob wears a hat "LB" and let's get back to being hat people.

I've made up my mind. I'm getting some hats, for they create interest, (and who is interested in old folks like me?) and in honor of those who wore hats for some effect or another.

I'll keep you posted, for I am determined to get a hat this weekend and will post my new pic.

Not kidding you, but togas? Not right now, maybe after veils and hats!

The Nearness Of You

Sarah Vaughan:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPiscuocxko

Why do I just wither and forget all resistance
When you and your magic pass by

My heart's in a dither, dear
When you are at a distance
But when you are near, oh my

It's not the pale moon that excites me
That thrills and delights me
Oh no
It's just the nearness of you

It isn't your sweet conversation
That brings this sensation
Oh no
It's just the nearness of you

When you're in my arms and I feel you so close to me
All my wildest dreams came true

I need no soft lights to enchant me
If you would only grant me the right

To hold you ever so tight
And to feel in the night
The nearness of you

Thank you/nbenton2

Someone Like You

Linda Eder-Jekyll Hyde:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKEHHeO9WFw

I peer through windows
Watch life go by

Dream of tomorrow
And wonder why

The past is holding me
Keeping life at bay
I wander lost in yesterday.

Wanting to fly
But scared to try

But if someone like you
Found someone like me

Then suddenly
Nothing would ever be the same

My heart would take wing
And I'd feel so alive
If someone like you found me.

So many secrets
I long to share

All I have needed
Is someone there

To help me see a world
I've never seen before.

A love to open every door
To set me free
So I can soar

But if someone like you
Found someone like me

Then suddenly
Nothing would ever be the same

There'd be a new way to live
a new life to love.

If someone like you found me
But if someone like you
Found someone like me

Then suddenly
Nothing would ever be the same

My heart would take wing and I'd feel so alive
If someone like you loved me

Loved me
Loved me.

And tomorrow, I'll go to the local Salvation Army and donate some bucks to them and look for a veil, if I can find one.

@Bren
When I went to visit my bff of 44 years, at the hospital tonight, and I planned to wear a new necklace. Something went awry with that, as I got dressed, some thing said no. Maybe it was Zsa Zsa.

But, the darling girl is great and I spent hours with her and she noticed that my t-shirt sparkled with beads or something like that (despite brain altering drugs for pain), and we both love those styles with pizzaazz, whenever they happen.

So, wear a baseball cap! And, I think that getting Kim a gift was so kind and needed.

Did you realize that Dreamer loves silver, too, and you could achieve your goals in life, by granting the wishes of the FGM?

Before I forget again, goodbye darling Liz Taylor, beauty and fine self that you are!

word v..ingishea---what?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Well, let's just say jigmo, for my kids do not adore me, nor should they, for I am flawed, as are they.

Adore something that is worth it. Adore efforts against all odds. Adore the strength to continue, when you don't have anything left. Adore people who die for what they believe in.

Yes, that's what to adore, and one more for the moment, that I forgot, for I am drinking the most wonderful Nebbiolo Barbera, which I have never had before.

Adore those who til the land and make our taste buds shout, "delicious!" for they labor long and hard, for themselves and us.

Bren, come on, did you think I would save my own life? Hardly darling.

And some Potato Lefse with Irish butter is adorable, at any time, if you like it and you may be Swedish, too.

Silver for me, what to buy for Bren?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
My friend will leave the hospital, most likely tomorrow, and I have tried to lure her back to health, with a promise of Mexican food at Pepe's, well, rather with Margaritas, for the food is marginal.

How I envy you in New Mexico, truly regional Mexican foods.

Thinking to go to Taxco and have some Friday.

Kenzz had the best margaritas in San Diego, which were made from limes and pure, and I agree, there is nothing like them.

Are you familiar with the movie "Imitation Of Life" with Lana Turner?

This was one of my mother's favorites..I watched it with her when I was like thirteen, and she told me she always cried when she watched it...well, I cried like crazy too..

I had my kids watch it a few years ago, and Nicole literally bawled..

The moral of the story is, the girl in the movie was always ashamed of her mother, and treated her like crap, and her mom loved her unconditionally, then after her mother dies, she realized how much she did love her mother, but it was too late.

So yes your kids do love you, but maybe don't realize how much.

What's wrong with being a little bit different
And how can a joy be a sin

Who says you only find God by denying
The fire that's under your skin

Maybe I'm glad that I don't fit in
What's wrong with wanting to walk a high wire

What races my heart is what's right
Life's very short and I can't see a reason for hiding

You think I can't see the path that I'm riding
But I see what's just out of sight

You may believe that it's all a delusion
But I start living

What's wrong with wanting to fly off to Venus
And living a life that's bizarre

Why is it crazy to reach for the impossible
You disapprove or you don't understand me

So fine you can stay where you are
But I won't set a limit on life
Tell me what's wrong with me wanting more

What's wrong with wanting what's never been done before

Stop looking at what you think you are seeing
And try just for once to see me

Balancing a ride on the edge of the moon is what keeps me living
I swear I'll rip through the walls if I have to

Or bloody my fists on the door
Yes I'm afraid but so what - nothing's impossible

Bring me a mountain I have nothing to lose
I'll strip it down to the core

If I fall that's what I choose
Tell me what's wrong with me wanting more

What's wrong with wanting what's never been done before

So true, yes, it is. The beauty of it is that it turns to love, even if we didnt' realize it was, it becomes that.

I do remember Lana Turner in that movie, and she had a huge tragedy where in real life, her daughter stabbed to death, Lana's lover, for what seemed to be good reason. A movie was made about that.

I say, give it up, life is tragic and we must find the sense of it and the happiness of that, for what else matters?

Wine, red wine that is divine, that's what I have been drinking.

My kids do love me, but they should adore something worth adoring, like the best of us all.

Earthquakes. I have decided to not believe in them. Why believe in events that destroy and make the whole world tremble? Don't they tremble the whole world?

I say "Fuck earthquakes" and I say I love my fellow humans and will believe in them instead. There is no power like belief in love and the fact there of.

Not that anyone should believe in what I say but let's believe in something like that, but better, more loving, more concrete and not a killer.

See him laughing as you walk by,
Everybody thinks he's happy
Cause you never see a tear in his eye.

No one knows he's crying,
No one knows he's dying on the inside
Cause he's laughing on the outside, mm,

No one knows, no one knows.
See the funny little clown, he's hiding behind a smile.

They all think he's laughing
But I know he's really crying all the while.
How his heart is aching, how his heart is breaking on the inside,

But he keeps laughing on the outside, mm,
No one knows, no one knows.
This funny little clown you never used to see him around

Without his girl beside him to love and guide him,
Until one day his girl just walked away

And to this very day he says he never loved her anyway,
Mm, and no one knows except for me
Because you see I'm that funny little clown.

Kay, I only skimmed the replies this morning so I don't know if anyone else called her a cougar or not. I did so I know at least I'm included. I could give a rats ass who's how old (unless someone is very young) And I'm not hating on the woman, good for her. I hate hate, but I am allowed to dislike who I chose. Tom didn't ask me who he could or should date! he he But if she's who makes him happy, more power to him. I don't have to like it. Now, if they're together for years, I'll lighten up and maybe even grow to like her. But my guess is she'll be nothing but a memory soon. Probably back with Jude.
