Rob and Kristen- Tug of War

Natalie Dee Rocks.

I know.
Perfect.

I get this kinda comment all the time.
Hard to believe.
But some people cannot comprehend that I write this
blog with my thoughts and opinions.
And that's all they are.
They get pissed off at me.
They threaten me.
They call me names.

All because I believe that Robert and Kristen
are completely and totally together.
(Oh I so do)

I am often sent things from other sites.
A lot of times its from the "AT" boards.
I don't go there.
It is frightening.
But I do find it fascinating to see my name
brought up and see how people say..
"Oh RoseSee said that!"
Um.
9 times out of 10
I said NO such thing.
And most of the time they are saying things
that I wouldn't say in a million years.
So how does that work?

My words are right here.
I don't write in a foreign language.
I don't have (many) secret codes and clues.
(heh... keep that decoder ring at the ready!)
So how does
"Rob and Kristen are together"
Somehow become
"Rose says that Rob is leaving Kristen!"
I don't get it.

So.
If you read that I said something...
At least come here and see for yourself.
I hate when people put words in my mouth.
I really have enough of my own.

http://favnia.tumblr.com/post/3719812631

Isn't this picture stunning?
Again...
This was sent to me from Favnia's Tumblr.
I don't have a tumblr.
I'm guessing that's probably a good thing for me.
And I don't know who made this...
I hesitate calling it a 'manip'
Because the pics weren't altered as far as I can see
(and I'm not a fan as most are scary as hell)
They were just sorta... blended together
Beautifully.
And it looks like Rob is playing for Kristen...
And we see how she reacts.
Brilliant.
LOVE IT.

Yeah.
Robert putting his hand on Kristen's face.
He kinda does that a lot.
Kinda like...
It's second nature
(add the wink wink in here if you wish)

Well.
You get my point.
Right?

OK.
Thing is.
I'm just gonna try and talk about good stuff.
I know I know
I've said this before...
But I don't want to wallow in the foam anymore.
I really don't.
I don't have the energy to stir the shit right now.
It's so irrelevant.
So meaningless.
All it does it make my arm tired...
And really
How much smirking can I do?
How many times can I just shake my head in disbelief?
It's all so fucking redundant.
It Is What It Fucking Is

It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.
It doesn't matter if anyone believes my point of view.
I'm completely cool with that.
There's nothing to be gained by this
Tug of War.
You don't win anything.
You don't get a medal of honor from Rob and Kristen.
You don't get fame or fortune.
You just get fucking exhausted
and even a bit muddy and dirty.
Who needs it?
Not me.
Not now.

So how long can I not speak
of frothing hyenas
and poke my paddle at the ridiculous?
I don't know.

I was going to say
I can only try...
But then Yoda popped into my head...
"Do, or do not. There is no Try."

I just gotta find my rose-colored glasses
and focus on Robert and Kristen.
There is so much good there.
Movies. Interviews. Photoshoots.
Especially watching them be so in love...
Yeah.
This will be so easy.

Thomas Sturridge.
Leaving or coming to...
some after party where Sienna Miller
also happened to be.
I'm pretty sure he's the kind of guy
I would love to lean on... and stuff.
But hey...
What's with the hat?
It's like the same kinda hat that Rob
is wearing on the cover of Vanity Fair.
Like some hat they dug out of their grandfathers closet...
Yeah.
OK.
Good.

Tome.
Just because.

This post is brought to you by the letter T

T for TUG of War.
It's really not very much fun after all.

I am tired, Beloved,
of chafing my heart against
the want of you;
of squeezing it into little ink-drops,
And posting it.

~Amy Lowell, "The Letter"

Thank You.

Bye for now

Wow. That manip-ish picture is lovely. She would be great in a period movie too...20's, 30's. Gorgeous pics.

Hi Rose,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and opinions, I happen to agree with them :)

I love the Tumblr pics, old Hollywood glamour, gorgeous!

Focusing on the positive is good. Remember what Smitty says..jawline :)

Hi Everyone! Hugs!

Perfect post Rose and Rob does like to touch Kristen's beautiful face a lot. Love them!

And I LOVE the banner. I am one of the biggest fans of WFE the book. I've been pushing that book on all my family and friends for almost a year. I cannot wait for this movie. Rob, Reese, and Christoph looks fantastic in the trailers. This is exactly how I envisioned it. I'm not that big of a squee kind of person, but I did have that moment when I saw the new trailer. Anyway, I am looking forward to the WFE press tour, Rob on Leno and all the goodies that are too come.

Rob and Kristen are so talented. Multi-talented is a better word. The sky is the limit for them. I'm so looking forward to the many many years of watching their talent blossom.

I hope everyone in Roseland has a nice day!

Rhonda,

Perhaps that should be a code word here when things get nasty "Jawline".
Set those decoder rings on it.

Me too Rose, I am tired. Ya know like you Rose. I dont look for the BS. I really and truly do NOT. I will admit once in a blue moon I will venture too Teds "ses pool" of a "blog" and of course get aggravated and leave feeling sick.Wishing those pl would get arrested. But other then that rarity, I come here for your wisdom. :) And too the orgs and twitter for BD news if I am in the mood.

Well, my newest story goes like this. I follow WFE on FB, official and fan blog. I am all excited for Rob and the other actors for this movie. SO I innocently was checking out premiere dates and such on the official fb page. Well what do I come across? Some BS "people" or they call them selves fans of Rob. Freaking out all over the fb page because how DARE Rob not come too Italy for a premiere. Now this wasn't just disappointment, this was them trying too get other pl too boycott his film. One stated, they "want" Rob, want Rob? What are they going too do too him? tear him apart? I flipped, Rose I called them a few names and such and was livid.How dare they try too boycott this film because they didn't get a fucken premiere?

Now this does not affect my life in any sort of way. But the audacity of people is astounding. It is just in ME too stick up for people who I feel are being wronged. Plus other people being so delusional, it is just ME to say how I feel and call them out if I see it. I kind of think you are the same some. You can "try" too not talk about the BS, or react. But that is not who YOU are. That's a nice quality in real life, makes you or me IMO a REAL person, No BS, you either like me or ya don't. Unfortunately online there is nothing we can do too change people and there actions. It's aggravating as anything.

Rhonda said...

Hi 30- That's why I hardly ever go to other sites.It's better for me to just stay away from it :)

Penny- I like it, lol!

30 said...

I agree Rhonda, but too not even be able too go too Robs new movie official FB page? I so was not looking for BS. People have NO boundaries online and what they say its a shame fans cant even enjoy something that simple without reading crap.

Freddie said...

Hi Rose,

Nice selection of pictures. The "manip" (for lack of a better word) really is beautiful and your story about what is happening in it is even better. Thanks as always for your post.

Hey Liza, Sydney, dottie, Rhonda, cutiestar, Penny, 30 and anyone who may have posted while I've been typing. I hope you all have a good day.

Birdie said...

One way to end a game of Tug of War is to just let go of the rope and let the other team fall flat on their asses. Will they call "foul"? Oh well.
I loved the collage. Kristen looks like a young Elizabeth Taylor. The side view of her laughing is the best and she should be laughing. I'm thinking life is pretty wonderful for these two in so many ways.
Hope you all are having a fabulous day!

I don't understand where the hate comes from. It must be from jealousy of Kristen or a really insane idea that the hater can somehow nab Rob's heart. It is truly sad for them either way. Rob and Kris had proper upbringing with parents and family who cared and nurtured them in the right ways at the right times. That is why their relationship is solid against all the media interference, haters, temptations that Hollywood throws their way.
Love your blog, Rose.

Penny - jawline's a great code, my decoder ring is set :)

30 - Those people aren't fans, they're the same ridiculous, immature idiots who go into meltdown and hold vigils because some boyband broke up. I honestly don't believe this behaviour is new, it happened to The Beatles, the internet and social networking sites in particular, have simply made it easier for them to find a forum for their whining. I guarantee they will have absolutely zero impact on anyone that matters

Hello, and what am I doing here so early? Must be crazed with excitement or something like it, in the form of a new post and great pics, men with hats and pianos and glamorous babes with huge smiles.

@Birdie
Can't think of any news from the bday that is funny, more like poignant and meaningful and how to translate that?

Man, Mexican food and two margaritas are tugging hard at my free will! Will I or won't I? You betcha.

Wildhart007 said...

Birdie I agree. I love the hat!

Freddie said...

Hi Rhonda - how's it going?

Birdie - I like your solution for resolving a tug of war. LOL.

Hey DK, Angelica, Groovie, Kay, Barbara and Hope - I hope your days are going well.

I am so glad I found this blog, I am loving the truth Rose writes every day. I am new to R/K and everything Twilight. I don't understand the hate, where does it come from and WHY? I am so happy for them, seeing them smile at each other makes me smile, swing hands together, good old fashioned romance. I stay away from the other sites and come here for my true news and updates. Stay strong Rose we need you!!!! P.S. Where do I get a decoder ring... lol

Rhonda said...

Hi Barbara- Unfortunately, Tom's movie wasn't playing anywhere near me :(

Freddie- I'm good, how about you?

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie:

I did get to bed by 4am and that was something special for sure.

Yes, you're right, that's why I am awake and getting silly so early.

After a Mexicano dinner out, I'll be par for my course, por su puesto que no (why not)?

Yes, it is a rare thing, that Ma-Daw harmony. I got kissed, too. Le sigh.

Gigi! Gigi! Am I a fool without a mind? Or have I merely been to blind to realize, oh, Gigi?

One of my top Five all time favs.

Freddie said...

Rhonda - I'm good thanks, despite the unwelcome return of winter. The week is racing by and I have a whole heep of stuff to get done before the end of the week. We have another visit from corporate this coming Monday, so things are crazy. It guess that's what happens when revenues are behind budget for the first quarter. I really should work tonight, but I confess it's the last thing I feel like doing. I may just talk myself into getting up early to tackle it in the morning. We'll see.

Any good shopping excursions?

Birdie said...

Linda, put the phone away and drive careful!HaHa!

Rhonda said...

Freddie- I understand, I hate inspections..puts everyone on edge until it's over. Hopefully it won't be too bad :)

I have scored a few things lately ;)

Birdie said...

Rhonda,
Does your hosptial have to do the Magnet inspections? We are going through that today. Thankfully it is my day off.

Rhonda said...

Birdie- Joint Commission! We have been waiting for weeks! So stressful!

Hope said...

HI Freddie...you are sweet.
No, life is not back to normal...LOL...just kidding, but we do miss the mountains.
Good luck with Corporate paying you all a visit. Don't work too hard!!

Birdie said...

This is on top of JCAHO. I can't remember, does JCAHO come yearly? It is really stressful when they are arriving unannounced, which we somehow miraculously know when they are coming! I always pray I am not working that day either.

Birdie said...

Freddie,
Do you have to do any presentations for the visits? I would not envy you that!

Rhonda said...

Birdie- Yes, they come yearly :(

Hi Hope :)

DreamerKind said...

@Freddie
Yes, it was a good decision and now I'm clean and oh, so sweet smelling from English soap with calendula flowers.

@Birdie
Am a fiend about Heyer and have most of her books, right here, only 10 feet away from me. Just read "These Old Shades" again, her Georgian period novel and it is one of her best. Have you read it?

There is a magnet hospital about 25miles away, and it is heavily featured info. in their new advertising programs. I think the nurses are excellent there.

Freddie said...

Birdie - as it stands now, I don't have to present this time, which is just fine with me. I'm just helping to pull the presentation together. I suppose it shouldn't surprise me, but I didn't think about the fact they you guys have inspections in hospitals as well. Yes, they are nerve racking.

DK - the english soap sounds luxurious. I'm glad you had a nice birthday celebration with your daughter.

Rhonda said...

DK- I've read Black Sheep and Cousin Kate :)

Birdie said...

DK, my sister was the same as you and passed many down to me. Which one is the story of a girl masquerading as a boy?

Freddie said...

Hope - yes, it's always hard to get back into the swing of real life, particularly after a good vacation. The mountains sound like they were heavenly.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
It is the one I mentioned, "These Old Shades".

@Rhonda
Love those two, and especially "Devil's Cub" which is about the son of the Duke in "Shades". So witty, and with heroines that are that way, too.

So happy, you two have made me, to find other Heyer fans who are R & K ones, also. Small world, isn't it, on Roseland for sure.

Birdie said...

Rhonda,
Those sound familar. I think I am going to have to make a trip to B&N.

DreamerKind said...

@Freddie
I got away from the body washes and went back to bars of soap. I get them mostly at TJ Maxx for they cost so much less, and I can get the best then.

Love the French, Italian and English brands for their lack of harmful chemicals and long-lasting fragrances. Luxury and cleanliness are next to good food, don't you think, lol?

DK, I remember that there was another about the son. I am definitely going to get those. I could use a frivolous little read. I wonder why PBS never jumped on those.

Rhonda said...

DK- Small world and great minds thinking alike. Spear-headed by Rose, of course :)

Hope to talk later, Bye!

DreamerKind said...

@Super
Sorry that TPTB (stupidheads) are arguing with you about the FIL. Rose is our Warrior Queen with spears, so maybe we should send her over to see ^.

@Bridie
I wonder why, too but they sure did jump on those old Barbara Cartland Regency romances back then. Do you recall seeing any of those but not on PBS, I don't think? Not half as brilliant as Heyer's but sweet.

No sex in them either, but with blackout scenes, so long ago and far away in time.

@Lovelies
I'm almost ready and heading out. Will look forward to more times ahead with the Warriors of the Rose!

DK...sooo glad last nite's dinner reinforced that special connection with Mom & Daw...there really is nothing quite so unique & special ( I know my angel holds a very sweet part of my heart...hoping her older teen years will continue as smoothly as 14 has been...?)

30...you are one fierce gal...lovin' it!

How are my fellow "Northeast Roselanders" faring this evening? Has everyone recovered from Fat Tuesday?

HI Rhonda, Freddie & Hope...and anyone else still around...

And one last thought (I know, you're saying "thank god!")...but that montage of the jazzy old school pics of R & K...did that not just take your breath away? That one collage told an entire story! I loved loved loved it...
Thanks for sharing, Rose!

Freddie said...

Hey Kenzz, How are you? Did you watch Survivor tonight? Boston Rob is still pulling the strings, but he could be in trouble if his tribe keeps losing members and the merge comes along.

Hey Kenzz!! I am originally from the North... Does that count??!! LOL

Hi again Freddie

Hi Kenzz- Did you get the snow?

Kenzz said...

Hi gals!!

Rhonda...no snow, but about a gazillion inches of rain...hubby had to drain the pool, which 3 days ago was covered with 2 ft of snow! What a crazy winter!

Hope...as long as you memorize the Pledge, you are officially welcomed as a member in good standing of Roseland: Northeast... WELCOME!!

Freddie; You know that I would never try to second-guess MY Boston-Rob's strategy! lol

Hi Melinda- Have a great night!

Hi Rose and Roselanders, I finally read the VF interview. It was sad to see how much Rob has had to change his life to deal with fans, and not the "normal" fans that just want an autograph, but people that actually want a piece of him. I wonder what people who act like that think when they read how much he dislikes it.Of course they probably don't think he's talking about them. lol That collage was beautiful, love the pics. Thanks again Rose for posting your sane observations in this crazy fandom.

dowlingnana said...

I haven't posted in a while Rose, but it's called COMPREHENSION ability that obviously the "haters" don't have!! They start teaching it right from Kindergarten on and I suggest many of those "haters", if not all of them, get back to the basics of knowing what they've read!! Geesh!! Loved the pics as always and your IMO attitude. Hang in there, you are doing so RIGHT for Rob and Kristen. Cannot wait for WFE and as far as those who want to boycott Rob's movie, wtf? Their lose then coz' my God, no star could attend EVERY premiere opening........duh, there's their sign! donna

I went out and spent a lot of the time talking with the bartender B, who was with his wife back in Dec. when I fell in love with the $10,000 scratch ticket man, remember?

Bren said...

DK,

Is it me, or does it seem there are not as many posters as there used to be....I'm talking about all blogs.

That would be very good news for Rob and Kristen, if everyone steps back and starts having a real life, that would certainly give them some breathing room....and then maybe, just maybe , they could have a real life too...yay!

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Can't stop yawning, I'm becoming a wimpy nightowl and FGM.

That guy with the scratch ticket? It was a joke from Spenser's Gifts, as so many of the Roselanders believed at the time.

I was a sap and believed it was real for his sake, and would have been mine, too, if we had gotten married, right?

Bren said...

CW might live to regret it...lol

Yeah, I remember the bartender and the guy with the ticket....you went there tonight?

Bren said...

That's funny, that's where he got it?...

I know, what's up with that...you getting up early these days?

I was going to join you last night, but got stuck on the phone, I did check the board when I got off, but you had gone off to dreamland...

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Well, I think several things about the slowdowns on blogs.

First of all, it's the time of year, way back to November and the holidays, up to today. Lots of busy times, emotional events, bad weather and uncertainty in the world.

Second, R & K are so obviously a couple, many do not need to wonder or argue and defend that anymore, Hallelujah!

Third, most are waiting for other projects, their movies, talk show interviews, pics, and such, to come along for more discussion.

It is good news, when the news is good, and no one is being harassed.

The pot is on low and gently heating, so no stirring or boiling is needed these days.

Oh, and hotheads don't feel so hot, when they are looking foolish and faced with facts, and actions they can't explain away.

Sorry you asked?

REPOST-HAIR IN MY EYE LED TO MISTAKE

@Bren
I get off of here with the aim of going to bed early and that means I have to lie to myself and everyone who isn't even on here, by saying so.

Luckily, I can make myself leave and then sneak back, when no one, who isn't here, can't notice me.

Then I do go to bed early, for whatever reason or time, as it is when I do, cause it's really not too early or too late and doesn't matter to anyone or me, by then.

All works like a charm and no one is the wiser, not even me.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
My watering eye (due to mascara which needs to be taken off) and the troublesome yawning, may make it seem like I should hang it up, as you commented.

Does that mean I need a new name? Please expound on that thought.

Bren said...

No, of course not, sillybilly...

Even the word verf agrees:

"spigarat" spiga rat

Not that I want to insult you but it did say to spiga (speak!).

I am so delighted that you see the value of playing the games I do, to keep the loneliness of living alone, at bay or away.

Either one or the other, can be chosen at anytime, without needing to asking anyone, even myself.

It is a totally stress free way of dealing with non-stressful decisions and I'm a liking it, verra much.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
I'll go take off my mask which consists of eye mascara, various shades of eyeshadow to create one total effect, that dazzles other peoples eyes, mineral powder that creates a veil on my face covering flaws, and the brown lines I made to add eyebrows of style and distinction.

BRB.

Bren said...

OK, I'm back...red seedless grapes...cold and crisp....they hit the spot.

Are you munching on anything?

Not drinking, you say?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Not imbibing alcohol for the well was overflowing a tad earlier and now it is perfectly level. Sure wouldn't want a flood you know.

I am unmasked and must shout, "Who is this unmasked stranger?". Yet, it is still me and I recognize myself very well.

The eyes tell the story, whether painted or un.

Bren said...

Matt just gave me the the reviews on "Red Riding Hood"....he said the words were "Lame" from the Hollywood Reporter, and Variety said "Clunky", and it could put you into a coma, or something like that...

I wanted it to do good for Catherine...I like her.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Oops, didn't answer what you asked...not munching for I am still full of Mexicano tidbits.

Did drink some vitamin C water to kill the bugs in me, a while ago.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Me, too, I heart CH, big time, all of the time, for I aspire to be her for many very deep and good reasons.

I plan to go and see it cause I love Red and her riding hood outfit.

Plus it seems like a quirky movie and I like quirk. And, clunky is not all bad, do you think?

Matt going?

Bren said...

I was checking out the weather, tomorrow 69 and 72 Friday, the southern part of the state will reach 80 on Sat....do we dare think Spring...

What is happening in your neck of the woods?

I want to start hitting the gym, again ...starting next week.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Wherever you go, when you leave for a moment, say hello for me, to everyone.

I remember a 96 year old man, I kid you not, who was about 6ft 3, with the bluest, merriest eyes I have ever seen.

That's what I do with myself and my mind when you take off during our little chats. I remember him, vividly, and it makes me smile.

Bren said...

I don't know know if he's going...he only told me this cuz I asked him to tell me when he hears anything about WFE, and RRH...

I would say the word "Coma" doesn't sound too good...a tad on the bad side, I'd say...

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Too bad I didn't get my comment typed faster, so you could have said hello to the weather man for me, when you left me here alone to think of the blue-eyed, merry man I was remembering.

Dreamer's weather report to date:
Was foggy, lifted, was raining, stopped, smelled sweet, like Spring.

I'll be looking for a place to live, that has a gym, so I can go there when the urge to move some different parts of my body, leads me there.

Bren said...

Twilight got lousy reviews too, didn't it...

But it was all about the books..

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Be honest with me. Is there any chance that Tom will move to Chicago and maybe into the same place I do, and use the same gym to move his different body parts?

What are the odds?

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
Did Twilight get bad reviews? I don't recall anymore.

To quote Pride & Prejudice's darlingest Mr. Darcy, "I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun."

He was so in love with Elizabeth, he was goofy and so was I when Twilight took my fancy. Still am, proud to say.

Bren said...

We have a gym at work, with a trainer even...(believe me they want you in shape, at that place)

But I have my gym five min from my house, I can come home after, shower and get ready, and go smelling fresh to work....

For Dear Tom:

The Big Hurt

Toni Fisher
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlE6eHEENg4&feature=related

Now it begins, now that you've gone
Needles and pins, twilight till dawn

Watching that clock till you return
Lighting that torch and watching it burn

Now it begins, day after day
This is my night, ticking away

Waiting to hear footsteps that say
Love will appear and this time to stay

Oh, each time you go
I try to pretend
It's over at last
This time the big hurt will end

Now it begins, now that you've gone
Needles and pins, twilight till dawn

But if you go, come back again
I wonder when, oh when will it end?
The big hurt

Thank you/JukeboxSaturdayNite

Bren said...

The odds on Tom, probably a zillion to one....

How did you get involved in Twilight... was it the book or movie, first.

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
You're probably right, cause I'd love having a Jim in my building's gym, too.

Fresh to work is a lofty ambition and an effective goal, especially if you want to be liked and have others not look askance at you.

Word verf "chionant".

As the French say, chio nant, meaning "get on that".

DreamerKind said...

@Bren
The movie took me away from my mundane and quiet life, to the forest, to the top of the trees, into Bella and Edward's hearts, only to put my nose into all four books until finished reading them. Some kind of sorcery was involved, I'm certain.

That was what, was the hap with me.

This Masquerade

Karen Carpenter:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKy77tpT_do

Are we really happy with
This lonely game we play
Looking for the right words to say

Searching but not finding
Understanding anyway
We’re lost in this masquerade

Both afraid to say we’re just too far away
From being close together from the start

We tried to talk it over
But the words got in the way
We’re lost inside this lonely game we play

Thoughts of leaving disappear
Each time I see your eyes
And no matter how hard I try

To understand the reason
Why we carry on this way
And we’re lost in this masquerade

We tried to talk it over
But the words got in the way
We’re lost inside this lonely game we play

We’re lost in a masquerade

A Million To One

Jimmy Charles & The Revelletts-1961 45 rpm
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36OPgMa6T0U

A million to one
That's what our folks think about this love of ours

A million to one
They say that our love will fade like yesterday's flowers

They're betting everything that our love won't survive
They're hoping (hoping) in time we'll forget
Each others' lies.

A million to one
They feel we're too young to know the meaning of love

A million to one
That they've forgotten the dreams that we're dreaming of

But we'll forgive them because we love them
After all is said and done

Dear one, in a million, a million to one

Thank you/CrisVangel

Tug Of War

Paul McCartney:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIfPIfuTFXA

It's a tug of war
What with one thing and another
It's a tug of war

We expected more
But with one thing and another
We were trying to outdo each other
In a tug of war

In another world
In another world we could
Stand on top of the mountain
With our flag unfurled

In a time to come
In a time to come we will be
Dancing to the beat played
On a different drum

It's a tug of war
Though I know I mustn't grumble
It's a tug of war

But I can't let go
If I do you'll take a tumble
And the whole thing is going to crumble
It's a tug of war

Pushing, pushing,
Pulling, pulling
Pushing and pulling

In years to come they may discover
What the air we breathe
Aand the life we lead are all about

But it won't be soon enough
Soon enough for me
No it won't be soon enough

My Wicked Ways

The Bloody Irish Boys:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcQBp5l95Yc

Life is worse than a bad habit or disease
You cant stay away but its so hard to please

Sometimes I try to do things right
But im the same damn person
And its just another night

Of smokin and drinkin with my friends
Talkin about the good times
And where they ever went yeah

Everytime I try to do things right
I fuck up in the end

My whole life passed me by
I could never change my wicked ways

Well I take everyday as it comes
But everyday just brings more problems

This life has so many things
To drive a man insane

My whole life passed me by
I could never change my wicked ways

So tell me now where do I go
It cant get any harder
When I have no one to turn to

But irish whiskey beer
And my guitar...

My whole life passed me by
I could never change my wicked ways

Good Morning Roseland....I see BREN posed the question to DK as to how she came across "TWILIGHT"..heh I will tell my story and I would be very interested to hear other bloggers stories.

I was slightly aware when the TWILIGHT movie hit the theaters...the long lines..I saw some "headlines" when I would be in line at the grocery store..I knew it had something to do with VMPIRES....heh..but I generally IGNORED it...knew nothing of the books.... then, a few days before NEW MOON came out, I asked a co-worker about it and I explained that I used to watch DARK SHADOWS, a soap opera about a vampire named BARNABAS COLLINS when I was a teenager....that was as far as I had ever gotten to being "into" vampire folklore...

She said that TWILIGHT was not really so much about vampires....that what it REALLY was...was a LOVE TRIANGLE...I told her that I would go see NEW MOON...she advised me to rent TWILIGHT first..then go see NEWMOON...

Heh...I rented TWILIGHT and was immediately HOOKED...like DK the books were read in rapid succession and then I started getting on my laptop and Googling Robert....and the rest is History...THE END...lol

Have a good day Everybody! We are having an After Hours event at the Medspa tonight from 5-8...soooo IF I am able, I will check on the Roseland landscape this evening....

@angelica1. You are absolutely right! Everytime I read a hater's comment against my judgement, like a masochistic Edward, I will remember your words. Sometimes though, I'm just compelled to say something against the apalling hate at Kristen. They claim it's their right to voice their "opinions", but it's really cyberbullying a 20year old they've never met and spewing vile words just because they can. I only hope that Kristen remains strong and true to herself. She's quite a girl indeed!

I'm 100% with you Rose and no, I don't have too but I am. Every time I read your posts I totally dig you, often I feel you took the words right out of my mouth. I hope you don't get downhearted by these... well there are too many names to sumn up. Still, sometimes it astonishes me how many vile, hateful and rotten people there are out there and why really? Because two young people fell in love with each other, it's just unbelievable sometimes. I mean what the hell is wrong with love? I know I sound naive but really I don't get the hate. I definitely think there is some brain malfunction going on.

Rhonda,

A paczki is a heavy, fat laden jelly or cream donut. They are available in bakeries for Fat Tuesday. After that, I think you'd only be able to find them in a Polish bakery since that is their origin. It is pronounced poonch-key.

I rose is so good to be back on the internet in reading your blog it's so awesome. You have some fantastic pictures on here today let me tell you, the ones of rob and kristen in black and white him playing the piano her looking like a young elizabeth taylor so great! And robbed in water for elephants of how dreamy; I finally got to watch the water for elephants extended trailer and cried. This is going to be a 1 of the most epic movies ever he is so fantastic in this. What is fantastic film choice he made and it will really help his career. And finding out that kristen will be playing snow white in snow white and the huntsman is so great also I can't wait to see her filming and doing this movie. Don't let the haters get you down road it doesn't make any difference anymore, rob and kristen are together and very much in love and no matter what they say is not going to change anything. Something that has made me truly c over the last 9 months how much they really are in love was watching my niece with her fiance. They are seriously in love and he worships the ground she walks on and every touch, every smile, is exactly the way rob looks at kristen constantly and touches her constantly so if anyone has any doubt. of their for each other they seriously need to see a psychiatrist. Oh, and as for toms hat it sure beats that old raggedy baseball hat and I must say he is quite sexy in it. The british and their hats ya gotta love it. Have a great night, bye

Oh, helping my daw with her stiff neck, still doing laundry, having a scotch & water, thinking about the weekend, wishing folks well, and playing tunes until the nightshift starts their yapping with me. Tee hee.

How are you? What are your happenings for today?

Rhonda said...

DK-
It was a lazy day for me, nice and quiet. It's been raining here for two days and now it's snowing. What happened to an early Spring?

DreamerKind said...

Also, I did vacuum out the dust bunnies in the hard drive unit of my computer, and there were a few.

They must come from the cats sitting on the desk or in my lap, and my petting them.

What a simple thing it is to fix the loud, annoying sound of hairballs flying through the fan!

Reverse the vacuum hose to the other blowing out hole, and voila, get out of the way! I put a plastic bag over the vents to catch the bunnies, so easy.

Makes me feel like a real IT specialist, it sure does.

Rhonda said...

Lol, sounds as if you've become quite the expert :)

DreamerKind said...

@Rhonda
Are you talking about the groundhog's prediction? It is so rare to we get an early Spring that maybe even he was confused.

It is getting time for a cool change, from snow to rain and rain to sunshine, I so agree.

Alcohol and good food do help in these times of flux. As you well know, my toasting partner.

I'll wave the magic wand tonight for a Spring-like weekend.

Rhonda said...

DK- I'm all for that! Good food, alcohol and wand waving, that is :)

DreamerKind said...

@Rhonda
Seems like things in the Twilight world are on edge, too, with it being many months before release of BD1, doesn't it?

Of course, we do have some interviews and junkets to look forward to, but right now, the production is secure and quiet also which is good for the director, cast and crew.

We are left to amuse ourselves, of course, as we should but I do like to whine about it sometimes, for relief and effect.

Rhonda said...

DK- I like to whine sometimes too. Lol, it usually doesn't do any good, but I feel better afterwards :)

At least we have WFE coming soon :)

DreamerKind said...

@Rhonda
You're so right, there is WFE, and many are concerned it will be the death of them, lol!

I think I can survive the beauty of the film, its cast and the tragic story, too, since I have read the book, and that helps me.

See, I don't like surprises very much, comes from childhood disappointments, so I prefer to be "in" on the whole thing, in advance, to prepare myself.

Once my galpals had a stripper for my bday celebration and I was furious cause I told them not to get one. (Don't like surprises!)

Well, when I cooled down, I danced with him and the guy wouldn't leave our party, now that was amusing.

We literally had to push him out the door after an hour and a half, when he was only paid for 30 minutes.

Poor guy, when I think of him now, I feel that he must have been very surprised at his own reaction and ours.

Crazy times, were those in my thirties...

DK- Don't you just get so sick of hearing 'the end is near', when it comes to R/K? It's really beyond ridiculous at this point.

It's baffling that people spend so much time with this constant debate, as if they have a stake in it to begin with. It's so obvious they are and have been together for a long time now. Maybe I'm a hopeless romantic or just foolish one, but I believe they belong together :)

I think you must have enchanted this man, your stripper..Lol!

DreamerKind said...

@Rhonda
Although I'd like to think that I enchanted him, it seemed like there might have been a wee bit of drugs in him, for some particular reasons I won't elaborate on.

Recently, I found out something about myself that I share with quite a few others my age-we don't like to do details anymore.

No matter how complicated things seem to be and people try to discuss them, we blow them off quite happily, if we can.

And, we discussed this the other night at the Mexican restaurant, as it is our perspective that all things come to pass, without any of our input or control, and why not just enjoy the moment.

R & K are an inspiring, loving couple and have as much or more of an ability it seems to me, to be together, for as long as they choose, as anyone else.

Certainly, I wish them complete and utter love, forever and ever, for they have the brass ring in their hands-no doubts about that, in my mind.

Doubters, destroyers and spoilers are the ones to say, "The end is near!".

Prophets say that about the world, too.

All have been wrong, so far, haven't they?

Rhonda said...

Dk- This is true. So why do we still feel the need to share so many details? Even though it's often not needed, or wanted.

I agree, I only want for R/K what they want for themselves. I'm a fan, regardless :)

Oh, and I hate surprises too!

For R & K:

What Are You Doing With The Rest Of Your Life?

Barbra Streisand:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQWqmiHK-WE

What are you doing the rest of your life?

North and South and East and West of your life?

I have only one request of your life
That you spend it all with me.

All the seasons and the times of your days.
All the nickels and the dimes of your days.

Let the reasons and the rhymes of your days.
All begin and end with me.

I want to see your face,
In every kind of light,

In fields of gold and
Forests of the night;

And when you stand before
The candles on a cake.

Oh let me be the one to hear
The silent wish you make.

Those tomorrows waiting deep in your eyes
In the world of love you keep in your eyes,

I'll awaken what's asleep in your eyes,
It may take a kiss or two..

Through all of my life..
Summer, Winter, Spring and Fall of my life,

All I ever will recall of my life
Is all of my life with you.

Thank you/Babsfan

@Rhonda
We need to share details of our lives and those of others, for we often feel too separate from each other.

It fills in the gaps and we are once again connected, as all humanity has always been in reality.

It is the loneliness that feeds the need for more, almost until the point that the one demanding more, is left even more alone, considered as extreme and/or crazy.

Fear runs the whole thing, fear of being alone, but we are not alone, when we share with each other.

When we decide we are not separate from each other, we win the brass ring.

The ring, which is a circle (all comes around and goes around in a circle of life) and means we are one, not separated, if we choose to change our thinking, and make it so.

And, so speaks DreamerKind, an elder statesperson of one note...

DK- Lol, I just flove you!

DreamerKind said...

@Rhonda
I flove you, too and have not forgotten your many kindnesses that have made me feel not alone.

Rhonda said...

On that kind note, I'm calling it a night. It was great to talk with you! I'm usually never here this late, thanks :)

Good Night!

DreamerKind said...

@Rhonda
Somewhere along the line, I think someone on Roseland was wondering why I share so much of myself and my life, details or not, when no one was asking for them?

It gave me pause for a while and I finally realized that I did it for just the reasons I wrote before. To be part of something with someone else, is to be connected.

Take my words, actions or stories, however you like, for I am in it with you. I just wanted you to know that you are not alone either.

And, I talk too much..not likely to change that, as I'm too set in my true love ways.

DK got hungry and is eating a snack with Elvis. (Not fried bananas and peanut butter sandwiches)

Although I would if I could, but soup, yes, soup, that's the ticket!

Checking back with you soon. Leave me a sign that you still exist!

DK

DreamerKind said...

I think Elvis liked fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches, not what I said. I sit corrected, eating soup.
