Rob and Kristen- If You Believe It

It sure does stink...

So I skipped a day from posting.
I seem to be doing that more often...
I think it's because this fucking fandom
needs a big old diaper.
Something with elastic sides and extra thick padding
to hold in all the fucking leaks and shit.

I'm tired of all bullshit about the leaked photos.
People being all self righteous and saintly
Shouting from the top of their golden soapbox
yet still looking at every picture...
You know you do.
I've looked at them.
At least I can admit it.

The leaks aren't even as bad as the shit.
Leaks happen all the time in this fandom.
Someone sends me a picture...
I look at it.
I never really think about WHERE it came from.
I'm just all fangirling over Robert/Kristen.
Not really thinking of the Who/What/Where.
I guess that's changed a bit for me now.
And I have to wonder...
because before Robert actually made comments about
how he feels about the hackers...
No one really was all up in arms.
Yeah, Summit issues this lame statement
asking people to stop looking
(Like you can UN-SEE something)
But people were being their usual snarky selves
poking fun at Summit for being so lame.
But then.
Oh yes.

So handsome... but exhausted.
Robert declared WAR on the Hackers!
Kill and Destroy!
So now everyone is all
"How dare you look at those pictures!"
"A true fan would never have looked!"
Or something along those lines.
Now all those kiss ass brown nosers
will never shut up about it.

Don't get me wrong.
I think hacking into Robert's personal email fucking sucks.
The guy has so little privacy as it is...
And to take that away from him is disgusting.
And even though I did enjoy one or two of the pics
(or 3 or headboard)
I don't need to see every scene from Breaking Dawn.
I think the amount of material has gotten ridiculous.
And tell me...
Where does 'On The Road' fit into this?
Why do I feel these pictures are all slanted
to get at Kristen Stewart?
Why is she the main focus?
And please don't fucking tell me she is behind the leaks...
No actress would want those unedited shots out there.
So I guess the better question is...
Who is out to get Kristen Stewart??

I know some haters will vilify her and blame her...
or say that the hacker is a 'shipper' trying to prove something.
But I don't think so.
(And OTR isn't 'Robsten' material, is it?)
I doubt they would just focus so much attention just on Kristen.
Either this is just a part of some grand hacking scheme
(And there does seem to be a hacking epidemic going on)
Or someone is just out to disparage Robert and Kristen...
Particularly Kristen.
Either way...
It's gotten tedious and beyond annoying.

Seriously... does it get ANY cuter? No.

I wish people would just back the fuck off Kristen already.
If you're only a fan of Rob... why do you focus
so much time and energy into hating on Kristen?
Just sit in your
Delusional Den of Denial
And pretend Robert is a 'Nonnie'
who hates Kristen as much as you do,
Is incredibly available and single
and looking for sweet schizophrenic love
and once BD is done filming will
Be seen with Kristen ever again!
*The End is Near!*

There really is good stuff coming up.
Bel Ami
Breaking Dawn

So many GOOD things to look forward to.
Rob and Kristen showing up together

Together is always the keyword, isnt it?
Living in Squamish together.
Vacationing together.
Showing up on sets together.
Flying together.
Watching movies together.
Rescuing dogs together.
Going to weddings together.
Holding hands in Vancouver together.
Kissing in restaurants together.

Together is the keyword.

Tom gets to wear a beanie in the play. Isn't that perfect?

Final thoughts.

1. I don't want to see/hear about fucking picture leaks.
The shine has lost its luster.
I'm scared to wonder just how much stuff these people have.
And I'm scared to what other movies they might hack into...
and I'm scared because I'm not sure what the motive really is.
And I'm really scared because big fucking studios
can't see to keep their shit safe.
Or the people who work for them.
WTF is THAT about?

2. Tom Sturridge.
He's currently performing in a play in London.
I've heard great things.
Wonderful things about his acting.
But I'm not surprised.
He's talented.
And kinda adorable.
And stuff.
(Just Because)

3. I really
Want to be able to enjoy WFE
without all the fucking drama.
Whether Kristen goes to any of the premieres or not
(London's calling... is that considered drama?)
I want to relish this movie for Robert.
I want to savor the moment.
Savor Robert.

4. And please remember the following
when you are reading my blog...

The information, content and images on
these pages are purely in fun
and are in no way meant to cause anyone harm, grief or despair.
If you are sensitive and lack a sense of humor,
please, don't go any further.
Some places, names, and events are fictional
and any resemblance, likeness,
or similarity to any person living or dead
is purely coincidental.

Oh yeah...
would be nice too.

This post is brought to you by the letter *D*

D for Diaper.
I hope they found one sturdy enough to contain the leaks.

D for
Delusional Den of Denial.
If the Den fits... go hide in it.

D for DELICIOUSLY Handsome.
We all know that the reporter was talking about
Robert being on Kristen's ipod picture.

Bye for now

Yup, that would have to be one B-I-G diaper, Rose. Industrial strength diaper. This hacking stuff is so out of control. Geez, I wish people would leave Rob and Kristen alone.

cutiestar said...

Rose you nailed it again. This hacking stuff is getting out of hand and it is starting to look intentional. I hope they stop and not ruin everything for real fans.

Now I am in full deliciously handsome mode with all the WFE promo. Rob is rocking this promotional tour. So far I am loving all of the interviews and pics, especially the ones with Tai.

The trailers look fantastic and the movie looks authentic from the times and will be a great treat for all of us on April 22nd. I'm so excited for this movie.

Well Roseland, I hope everyone has a great day.

love your blog. I was very upset about the OTR picture leaks because all of them were of Kristen as her character Mary Lou and yes i do believe that it might be someone who wants to harm Kristen's career and OTR success. I also wish that the Rob fans who hate Kristen would just focus on him and his career and leave Kristen alone

Excellent post, Rose...love how you always make such sense. :D

Have a good day everyone!

One of the BEST birthday gifts Kristen could receive this year is some PEACE!!
Leave Kristen the fuck alone!!!!!!
Enough already.

Excellent post, Rose, as always.

Spot on with your "Delusional Den of Denial" I wish the psycho bitches would all retreat there and we can lock them in and throw away the fucking key. They can be as crazy as they want in their own fantasyland in their head and the rest of us can enjoy all the wonderful Rob & Kristen stuff without all the bullshit drama.

Can't wait for WFE, its going to be epic!
Have a good day everyone! :)

Like everyone here, I’m feeling angry and disgusted about the leaks. It was bad enough that so many BD pictures were leaked, but for other personal and professional photos to be released, it is contemptible. I can’t imagine how Rob and Kristen feel. I hope they are managing through it as best as possible. While there still seems to be hunger for “seeing” the pictures, at least fewer people are reposting them – I suspect for their own self interest (protection) rather than out of concern for Robert and Kristen. Very sad. I remember Kristen saying that she didn’t want her personal life to be “entertainment” for others. Her words take on a whole new significance now. And the possibility that someone is out to “disparage” her in particular is very disturbing.

I hope Robert and Kristen hang in there, and I hope they know that there are real “fans” out there that share their outrage over this action, and will, as Angelica put it so aptly yesterday, defend them whether they need it or not.

Oh and Syd, great take down yesterday morning. I was smiling all the way through reading it.

Linda – I forgot to mention the other day …. I’m sure your kitten is adorable and that I’m glad your mom’s cat is doing well.

Sydney – congratulations on your new nephew. You sound smitten.

IB – wonderful news about your daughters cheer team success on the weekend. You sounded so pumped and proud when you posted.

Nice to hear that Roseland’s other favourite son, Tom, is getting such great reviews. I don’t think anyone doubted it.

Hi Hope, Kay, Brenda and everyone else. I hope you all have a good day.

Rose, thank you for this. I hope R/K are not letting this craziness steal their joy. I just want them to be ok.

Happy Hump Day, everyone!!!

This is my first post on any blog within this fandom.. Rose, I have been reading your blog for months and love it! You are so right in all your posts, and honestly since I started reading your blog I have become an even bigger fan of Rob and Kristen (I didn't think that was possible). I am so excited for WFE and Breaking Dawn.

angelica1 said...

Hypothetically speaking, based upon the..ermmm..enthusiastic...responseto Rob's comments on MTV, if he were to say, during his next filmed interview perhaps - "I love Kristen Stewart so back off" - either she will be canonised immediately or the delusional harpies will hurl themselves,en masse, off the nearest cliff. Sounds like win/win to me....Rob?

Dear Rose,

Spot on post! Yes, the leaks and lies are seemingly intentional, malicious and disgusting. So sad. One can only imagine the varied, twisted, and illogical reasoning of the people involved. Again, I was so glad to hear Rob speak out against this insanity. And you Rose, always a voice of reason, support and respect for Rob and Kristen. Thank you for your words, time and commitment.

Just for fun, there is a "highlarious" Funny or Die video that has just been released. It is called....When Harry Met Sally 2 and stars Billy Crystal and Helen Mirren. It had me in stitches. It is on the Funny or Die website. Enjoy if you have a moment.

Hooray for your daughter and her team, IB.

Sydney, so happy to see your sister has a lovely, new little one. What joy!

Angelica, wouldn't it be wonderful if it could be so easy and be assured of working. : )

Congratulations to Tom for the wonderful reviews of Wastwater and also his performance.

Hugs for y'all.

Love the first picture. Fits a small fraction of this fandom so well. Bunch of whiny people.

I saw the first batch of leaked BD pics. Um I'm human what can I say. But the last few days with other leaks has been crazy. People need help.

I really hope that this stuff isn't getting to Rob and Kristen. They are trying to wrap up this franchise and don't need this crap.

I can't wait till April 22. To me it can't come fast enough!!!

I have heard that Tom's play is getting great feedback. Kudos to him!

Sydney- congrats on the new baby in the family!

IB- congrats on the cheer comp! Bet they are excited! Are you exhausted yet? :)

Syd- Great smack down yesterday! Made me chuckle.

Hope everyone is having a great day so far!! TTYL.

Hello Roselanders --

With Rose's words leading us onward past the topic of things that too many have seen when they shouldn't have, I'd like to shift the focus to something that perhaps not enough have seen... but should have.

Apologies if this has been posted before, but it is such a wonderful and appropriate antidote to all the hate and stupidity that it bears repeating.

This is what no less a talent than William Hurt had to say about Kristen during a press conference for The Yellow Handkerchief in February 2010:

"I think that she’s holding her own, that she’s courageous, that she’s inventive, and that she’s got character oozing out of her, and I say, 'Give her a break. Who is she to pander to your idea of what she’s supposed to be?' She has every right in the world to express herself exactly as she chooses to, and she’s got a lot of surprises up her sleeve."

Amen, Mr. Hurt.

Personally I could do with a few more "leaks" like that.

So with Kristen's birthday only 3 days away, I'd like to suggest that we do just that -- "leak" the great things that co-stars and critics have said about Kristen, sharing them right here on the Roseland blog every day between now and Saturday as our gift to her.

The good news is that there are plenty of wonderful things that have been said -- more than enough to drown out the din of howling hyenas.

It's the perfect gift for the woman who has everything -- talent, brains, beauty, loyal friends, a loving gamily and the sweetest boyfriend in the world. (if only he were a little better looking, but I guess you can't have everything :) ).

Anybody with me on this?

Thought for the day --

Hi Rose. Hi Roseland.

I have been out and about the past few days. And of COURSE I come check on my twitter today and hear the lovely news that(sexual) OTR pics of KS have been leaked. I have too say not one person linked them on my twitter. (Unlike when BD leaked)

But I am going too kick someone ASS if they are out too "get" Kristen. Do you hear me Fuckers? I am DISGUSTED too hear you crazy ass nonnie harpies are salivating over them. They all need too be stoped and it would not surprise me if one of there hyena buds hacked, Not one bit.

Too add too my annoyance. My F and U button are sticking today.

I wonder if malicious hacking into
other peoples' email accounts could be considered illegal? Punishable by law. People use their credit cards for online purchases (like E-bay).
Email use is so important to business, government, colleges (with online courses), hospitals.
Does this hacking happen to them?
I'm just saying.

angelica1 said...

Real PR Pro - That's a wonderfull idea! Plus,it'll take her mind off how plain looking that boyfriend of hers is!

30 - F and U, how ironic...

angelica1 said...

Frances - Oh yes,it's illegal and carries some pretty severe penalties!

real pr pro said...

Frances -- here's your answer:

Even though they're perpetuated online, the most blatant email hacks can be prosecuted with theft, fraud, destruction of property, forgery and even counterfeiting laws. While the most common penalty is loss of email account services, in some instances fines, prison sentences and a combination of these two penalties can result from successful prosecution of email hacking. Sentences range from a $5,000 fine for one instance of unauthorized access to twenty years in prison for multiple offenses involving multiple victims and damage greater than $1 million.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) coordinates with law enforcement agencies across the country to punish email hackers through its Cybercrime unit. The DOJ trains investigators, maintains a database of hackers and email scams, and also advises the court system on penalties. It has established eight Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property offices staffed by 22 attorneys in these major metropolitan areas around the country: Los Angeles, San Diego, Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Seattle, New York, and Alexandria, Virginia. These offices focus exclusively on the prosecution of computer fraud, including email hacking, and intellectual property theft. They also advise the DOJ and the court system on the effectiveness of current penalties for these crimes.

Email hacking is a very serious crime. And too add too that stealing images that could cost the production company mega money. A huge million dollar company like Summit who has the funds too do so could defiantly go after these people. Also if Kristen is being targeted professionally and works or them they have the power too find these people. I would think the FBI might be a able too get involved with finding these people also.Federal crimes in the USA are no joke.

PR Pro,

Your words were the perfect antidote to all the vitriol spreading throughout the fandom. It has definitely gotten out of control and I think focusing on all the positive is the way to counter the foul deeds that have been done. William Hurt's words are spot on and I thank you for sharing!

Rose, this is one of your best blogs I have read. I appreciate the passion with which you write, as well as the obvious affection you display daily not just for Rob, but for the other important people in his life, namely Kristen and Tom.

All of Roseland, thank you for making this a place of sanity, especially as these leaks are hurting our favorite actors!

May Kristen have a very happy birthday, knowing many many many people truly care about her.

Great comments, real pr pro.
Like the idea about the positive words.
Here is my contribution.....

An article from The New York Times,
"Media Vampires, Beware", by Brooks Barnes, November 13, 2009.

In the article there is a great quote by Sean Penn where he calls Kristen "a truth machine" and says that she is "magically easy to direct," and also that "she is a real force with terrific instincts".

Anonymous said...

Yeah the fact that OTR leaks have come out too as well as BD, makes me agree that it's an attack on Kristen. It must become tiring.

Rob you were right, they are "shits and dicks".

BD was enough, OTR as well, I've seen the image which has been taken down - but BD was enough. She's had her breakthrough from the saga but this was a huge one - OTR. And people have to go and leak images with that.

Haters get personal. And I'm glad Rob insults them.

sjjw said...

30 -
I too heard on twitter the OTR pix were leaked, but am also pleased to report NO ONE posted them as far as the people I follow were concerned. (I must follow the right people). It is so sad that all of this is going on, and I hope that those responsible are brought to justice. As PR Pro and said, the penalties are very severe!

I must also agree, it is very generous and big-hearted of Kristen to continually hang out with such an unattractive guy! More power to her!

Mandy said...

I have a different take on the leaked OTR pictures, whoever's seen it knows Kristen is the main focus but what was odd to me was that there was a pic of Tom thrown in there also so if its from someone who's out to make Kristen look bad, didn't make sense to throw that in there. Probably from some "fan" who thought they were doing everyone a favor by giving a peek of a top secret movie. Those with common sense knows that's not the case. But there are people in this fandom (and from both sides) who don't really think rationally. Unlike the BD leaks, the OTR ones look like they were taken of either stills or from some sort of trailer, doesn't look as raw and unedited to me.
Whatever that person's intentions were, who would really ever know?
On the other hand, those "Nonnies" who are re-posting these pictures and spinning it in a negative light against Kristen, just goes to show how ignorant they're being. Read the book.
Not gonna lie, i have seen the leaked OTR pics, and all it made me want to do was to see the movie even more.

Loving all ofm the WFE promo stuff. MTV interviews bringing up the wedding scenes. Josh thought they were all ready done till Rob told himm no. I really liked his face when he was talking about not seeing the wedding dress at all. Looks like Bill is keeping the "groom" in the dark. Hope they catch his first look on film. It should be very hard for him not to show his true emotion at that point. Hope after Kristen's birthday all of this "break" gossip slows down too. All of the leaking and splitting stuff is so old it is getting Forks moss all over it.

Hi Roselanders, I've only posted a couple of times but pr pro's post got to me so here's my contribution for our Kristen.

When Roger Ebert was reviewing her movie Adventureland he had this to say about our girl...

"From his earlier work, I expected to like Eisenberg. What surprised me was how much I admired Kristen Stewart, who in “Twilight,” was playing below her grade level. Here is an actress ready to do important things. Together, and with the others, they make “Adventureland” more real and more touching than it may sound."

Anonymous said...

I agree angelica1, I'd like to hear Rob say into the camera "I love Kristen Stewart so back the fuck off". Or if we're being realistic, just leave them with the thoughts that she's one of his best friends and he's not remotely impressed with their hateful attacks.

I also agree Rose, his fans who attack on Kristen need to focus on Rob. If they're presumably fans of his, they'd focus on him like the sane ones. It's less difficult to focus on the one you're a fan of, and forget about the ones you hate.

sjjw, I am so glad they didn't post them. I honestly think a lot of KS fans thought this might have been done too hurt her. And after the BD leaks, Then OTR, something was up.

Kristen has many many many fans who ADORE her and try too protect her. It's always that same small group who mocks.

Mandy, Tom is good friends with Rob and Kristen. I didn't see the pics but were any leaked of the other characters in the story besides them two?

"I was gushing about her. I think she's so talented and so perfect. She's a great conversationalist, very inquisitive. She's got a little bit of an edge, too, though, so she's not a pushover. She's strong and cool. She's beautiful, she's smart, and she's emotional, too."
Emile Hirsch, costar in "Into the Wild"

"It was so terrifying entering into that world and what was great was just having someone that I knew and actually working with her. She’s just a fucking extraordinary actress, just really, really extraordinary and it’s astonishing just to see her do her job."
Tom Sturridge, costar in On The Road and dedicated friend ;)

"She is the sweetest, smartest and strongest girl I know."
Robert Pattinson, costar in the Twilight Saga and Boyfriend :P

"Kristen is perfect because she doesn't pretend to be perfect."

I flew out here and met with her about 4 months before we started shooting and was instantly struck with her tremendous intelligence and also her sense of herself. She was truly grounded and has a power and ferocity about her that is so perfect for Georgia and yet in this delicate body that was also necessary to play the role. I met her and I just knew. Oh I'm so glad I peeked back in here this afternoon! PrPro, you had the BEST idea! Sometimes it's so easy to get bogged down in all the negativity that is out there, we lose sight of all the good stuff.

I have never read a negative comment about Kristen from anyone who has actually met her. That's pretty remarkable, isn't it? The people who have worked w/her can't say enough good things. They sometimes even gush!

My opinion?? Not only is she a gifted actress, she is so beautiful inside and out. And to top it off, she's a humanitarian, evidenced by the fact that she stays w/that boyfriend, despite his plainness. Oh well, looks aren't everything, right???

Hi all,

PR Pro - excellent idea. Here's a few quotes to add to the growing list:

“But, then, I see it everywhere. I see all sorts of performers that I admire, I have admired. And I think when an actor is able to, like, kind of bring an emotion, you know— Isabelle Huppert, always—I watch her and I’m like, “Holy cow!” She makes me feel something. Kathy Bates—I actually once stopped Kathy Bates because she’s done so many performances where she starts to do something and then, like, all this feeling comes up, you know? Dianne Wiest is another one. I mean, there are just so many. Young people? Kristen Stewart in “Into the Wild,” you know? Kate Winslet’s always beautiful. I mean, there are so many.” – Julianne Moore

Kristen is included in some pretty impressive company.

"There's a reason [Kristen] is so big and up and coming," dished the talented Miss Leo. "She's first and foremost a very smart young lady. She has actually built a career for herself by the choices she's made." And "Kristen's actually had a lot more opportunities to work than she has in fact worked. She's been very clever about it. And she's remarkable. I played a mom figure for her and feel that bond in real life, also." – Melissa Leo

Two Oscar winners, no less.... Here's another one:

“As I’ve said. I think Kristen is one of the best actresses of her generation. She can do no wrong in my book.” – Chris Weitz

Chris obviously agrees with Rob.

I'm sure the list of accolades will be much longer before her birthday on Saturday. Perhaps Rose could consolidate the quotes and put them up in her post on Saturday (assuming she posts then). Just a thought.

--"As far as Kristen Stewart goes, she's a one-of-a-kinder. You won't see somebody like her, at that age, come down the pipe again until about 2035. She's that unusual. She's an absolutely...you can't say 'raving beauty' or anything like that because that connotes something else. This girl has a beautiful, knowledgeable, might have seen the elephant look on her. Just STRIKING beautiful face. With a maturity and a gauntness and a hauntedness that I've never seen on any woman in my life. And she's 16 years old. When you look in her face, and in her eyes, it's kind of like when I used to go on the air and do interviews and they'd say 'who have you worked with that you really admire?' I admire all the people I've worked with, especially directors. But I've only worked for two geniuses. I've worked for Mr. Hitchcock, he's a genius, and Douglas Trumbull, he's a genius. When you look at Kristen Stewart...it's not that she's a genius, but she is UNIQUE. And I don't see, outside of maybe 2 or 3 people much older than she is, a uniqueness in actresses today. Maybe if I went to Zambia and did a film I'd see it, but this girl is a one-of-a-kinder."--Bruce Dern

Hi Hope - sorry I missed you earlier. I had to step out for a bit and I'm just back in now. I'm well, thanks. I'm feeling a bit more positive now following PR Pro's suggestion. It's good to see the board banding together to send out best wishes to Kristen.

I hope all is well with you and the family.

Hi Katy, Cutiestar, DK, dottie, Angelica, Kenzz and everyone who posted earlier.

Angelica - I loved your... ermmm.... suggestion for Rob...LOL.

I will never understand the lengths some people will go to to cause trouble for Kristen. I think it is disgusting. Kris will soon be 21, and she has done nothing to hurt or cause trouble for anybody. For most of her life, she has worked. People need to leave her alone. I would just like to tell her that she does have fans out here who want to protect and will defend her...we love her. Rob loves her, and that should be enough---you don't have to like her, but leave her alone. I really hope she has a lovely birthday, because she deserves it. These hackers should be arrested and put in jail. It is not funny, and it seems to be causing distress for lots of people. I don't care about Summit, but do care about Rob and Kristen, they deserve better. I apologize, but these people just make me so angry. Take care Roselanders and dear Rose---we need to stick together--I think of us as the "good" fans.

@30 Basically Kristen was in every single picture either by herself or with Garrett & Sam. There was 1 single picture of Tom by himself which is why I thought it was odd

Hi Freddie... I know...I am so tired of the negative too. Great idea of PR Pro, so I am going to find more positive quotes about Kristen for her birthday week. Is work going well for you??

Cutiestar...I really liked the Bruce Dern quote!!

Hi Everyone...great quotes by all!!

Hey Angelica...I like what you said earlier about Rob!!

Hi Rose,

Please don't equate those crazy hyena/nonstens with this fandom. I say this fandom, because if people come to this blog, they must love Robert and Kristen (with or without Twilight) and if they don't well...get lost. This blog isn't for you. Why people come here only to post spiteful, hateful, hypocritical stuff to/about you and the rest of us fans...is narcissistic and borderline crazy. Seriously.

But don't let the get you down. Remain positive. Robert and Kristen both deserve fans who are they're for them, regardless of what movie they're in, or even if they remain together for the rest of their lives. They don't deserve fly-by-night psycho fans who stalk them and post hateful things about either one of them. In fact, the world would be a better place if they would just implode. Nits.

Hold on tight Rob and Kristen, because at the end of the day it is always just about the two of you. Not what the haters think, or even us for that matter. (although we do love you).
When the last bit of BD film is in the can take some time for just you two....enjoy what you have and know that we wish you all the best.

“Kristen is adorable, and a phenomenal actress and I am a big fan of hers!"
“I had the chance to meet her and it was amazing! She is a phenomenal actress, she is so young and has such an amazing career!”
“I think the choices she makes in independent films working with upcoming directors helps her a lot. And then she moves to something as big as Twilight, it is really important to take those chances and do that, she loves cinema and she just does it!”

Lily Collins, who stars with Taylor in Abduction and is also doing a Snow White movie says this about Kristen:

LC: [Laughs] Kristen Stewart is the other Snow White and I really admire her as an actress. She’s so fun and so sweet and we’re both very different. We’ve both very, very different and I think we’re going to have two totally different takes on it. So it’ll be interesting to see what happens but I’m very excited to be involved with mine with Julia Roberts and Armie Hammer and Tarsem. I’m still completely amazed.

A few more to add to the equation:

“She’s awesome,” Amy said of Kristen. “I knew she had chops. I’ve seen her since Panic Room. I thought she was fantastic. I feel like she’s grown up onscreen. She was great in Into the Wild. The girl’s got some chops.” - Amy Adams

“How smart [Kristen] was. I don’t mean that in a bad way, I mean for a young girl. Really, for a young woman how together and how smart and how she’s doing this all for the right reasons and how well we got along and how wonderful it was. I had a great time with her and I don’t necessarily think acting is fun, but I had a really good experience on this.” - James Gandolfini

“Well, I found Kristen to be through and through totally professional and just great to be around. I found us to be really, scarily similar, just in our physicality, the way we move through space….. (S)he is so authentic. The thing that came through to me was that it was important to her to capture it. She really wanted to nail it. – Joan Jett

“She has depth deeper than any actress I’ve ever known.” – Catherine Hardwicke

Wonderful quotes. Kristen can be proud of what she has accomplished.

Yes, I looked at them. I'm human. You'll get no judgement on that from me.

The hatred and snarkiness is just ridiculous. I refuse to listen or be a part of any of it.

It pains me to hear about all this hate on KS? Do other actresses have this much hate? Or is this because KS is with RP and the haters are jealous?
KS knows who her haters are and wish she could launch a lawsuit or something on those who threaten her.
I hope she (and Rob) does not let this affect her and want to break up with Rob because she can't deal with all this hate, but also prove to let the good prevail over evil.

Wow ladies, thanks for rounding up all those beautiful quotes about Kristen. Can you imagine such highly respected people praising you like that? I'm amazed at how humble and gracious she's remained.

There's a woman at my office who does her best to hold the glass ceiling over every other female. She's vicious for the sake of it. And I don't waste a moment of my time stressing about her. I deflect all her comments and criticism with humor. I just pity her. I don't know what's missing from her life, what happened to make her so angry and cruel. I'm just not like that. I'm a very live and let live person. I'll never understand the motivation for hate and mean-spiritedness. I was simply not brought up that way.

Some people are just bad...some are good. Who do you think wins in the end?

And once again, thank you to everyone for the sweet comments on my newest nephew. He is a doll and huge snuggler. I'm loving every moment, though I'm exhausted. I don't know how you incredible mothers do this. Thankfully this baby has silenced my mother's harassment of when I'm getting engaged and giving her more Grandbabies. And this sister is good for one or two more kids, so she's bought me some time. Anyway...time for bed. This shit starts all over again at the crack of dawn.

He also watched a German band who is coming to Chicago, and since they put down everyone in their set, they must see them, too.

I agree, find out the most about folks and charm them silly.

I will never understand it and it just makes me weary.

'The great ones kind of submerge themselves. Obviously, Kristen’s like Brando, and I’ve always thought that she had like incredible sort of internal ability to just submerge into a role and be lost in it, in a good way you know, so I see that with the best actors; DeNiro’s like that, you know, so many good actors are like that...I have from the second I saw her in Panic Room, I mean I thought, ‘This kid just has something different, she just has something different.’ And you know, now it’s like you’re always a target when you do a big series like Twilight and so on, but she just has, when we were reading the script and doing stuff, I just thought, ‘Man, she just has insight that’s completely...a uniqueness about how [she approaches] the role. You’re not getting a cookie-cutter performance; you’re getting something that you don’t expect. Real PR Pro -

I am just curious and wondered if you might explain what options Rob, Kristen or any other celebrities have when a journalist inserts such a incredibly rude and obvious statement of conjecture in an otherwise decent article? It seems to me that this statement gives Elle a couple of advantages....I assume that if they have to publicly apologize for their unprofessionalism, they wouldn't do it without some proof and being able to say something to the effect of "we apologize to Mr. Pattinson and Ms. Stewart, as we've found that their relationship is much more than we portrayed it to be...." they get the big scoop of "outing" them officially. If nothing is said or done, they get the attention they were looking for. I know the point is to sell magazines, but this seems to stoop to tabloid levels that I always thought they were above.

What other kinds of options does Rob or any other celebrity have when these things happen? Are there typically behind the scenes apologies and reparations? Do they have the luxury of refusing future articles with either the magazine or journalist, or does a studio promoting a movie have more say than the actor in who they give an interview to?

Thanks for answering if you have a chance, I was just curious to know what types of recourse are available to them when this type of stuff happens. You always give us such interesting information on these things.

Great idea for the birthday quotes, too!

(I deleted my first post of this and restated it because I felt my hypothetical Elle apology statement was a little blunt and needed to be cleaned up a bit, sorry.)

Happy Thursday, Roseland!

Good morning Roseland.

Real PR Pro: As Kay has requested I hope you can offer us answers as to what options Rob and Kristen have .

It is one thing for journalists to try and get an answer from a celebrity regarding their personal lives BUT to imply what that journalist implied , crosses the line of integrity.............It stoops to the level of tabloid, trashy reporting, something I never thought I would see from the pages of a magazine like Elle.

It seems like these magazines nor matter how formerly reputable will go to any lengths to be the ones to be able claim they got them ( one or the other) to admit that
they're a couple.

Personally, I find the tactics by these journalists pathetic and wonder where their sense of decency is.

Kenzz - I cancelled my subscription to Elle UK this morning and told them why,in no uncertain terms.

I may be in the minority here, but I saw the furor on Twitter and assumed the Elle article was super insensitive and totally crossed a line, but reading it here now, it really doesn't seem that bad.

Yeah, it's tacky to insinuate that they're fuck buddies, but they're not the first people to assume that. I've never had a high opinion of Elle magazine so I'm not all that shocked.

I'm glad people are writing in and complaining...it's unprofessional and insulting to insinuate something like that based solely on conjecture. But they won't be the last to wonder and comment on the nature of their relationship.

And in the grand scheme, it makes no difference what they say anyway...same as the nonnies. Rob and Kristen have pretty thick skins. They want this to be theirs...and it is, no matter what anyone says.

Annie said...

I get the impression that the reporter was coming on to Rob.
WTF with some of the questions. For example.........."What would you like to happen to make tonight unforgettable? Anything you want."

Again, WTF. Those questions are loaded with sexual inuendo.
I think the reporter didn't get what they wanted and stooped to the lowest level posible with the introduction to the interview.

Sydney said...

Wow, Annie. Sounds like the interviewer is a textbook Nonnie. Can't handle that Rob is taken? Make something up to make yourself feel better.

angelica1 said...

Annie - Do these women have any self-respect? You can just imagine poor Rob squirming while she tried to be "seductive"!

Rhonda said...

Angelica- Hehehe..these women need to give it up :)

This is just another reason why Rob should avoid print interviews..

katy said...

Well, I also send an email to Elle stating my disapprovel. It took me a while because I wanted to be careful with my grammar...hehe.

Sydney, It seems Elle hire Nonnies now...they are everywhere :O

Good morning everyone. Sorry for being late to respond. So far you are all taking the right stance, that is concentrating on the lack of respect and violation of journalistic standards that the reporter's comments represents.

I dont know if there's a comments page for story but don't comment anywhere on the Elle website. since that just gives them hits, which they can then use to sell ads.

Instead use your own email to contact the following people:

Editor in chief Roberta Myers

VP of Magazine Advertising Rheannon Serino

VP Digital Advertising John Weisgerber

The Circulation Department

Make the email to Roberta Myers and copy the others.

Here are soms general guidelines --
Do not attempt to refute the reporters statement in terms of whether or nor Rob and Kristen are actually dating.

Focus on the inappropriate interjection of personal speculation about an actor's private life, with absoulely no evidence offered to support the supposition.

State that you have always admired the writing and reporting of Elle's celebrity interviews. Mention that they are usually respectful and accurate while aslo engaging the reader's interest and offering isnights into the persononalites of people being interviewed.

But you are both disappointed and angered by recent comments made by the reporter who interviewed actor Robert Pattinson for the May issue.

The reporter crossed the line when she took it upon herself to categorize the relationship between two people --both of whom who have taken great pains to refrain from speaking about their personal lives -- as a casaul sexual relationship; and in so doing not only violated their privacy and impuned theior characters, she also violated journalistic ethics.

Her comments were especially egregious considering that the subject of the interiew has often expressed exactly the opposite attitude about casual sexual relationships in countless other interviews.

So not only was the reporter's comment a violation of journalistic standards, an unwarranted invasion of privacy -- it was also shoddy reporting since clearly she didnt even bother to research Mr Patttinson's attitude about such things.

As a result, the article has rnished the Elle brand name.

Conclude by saying that you believe that Elle and the reporter should issue an apology for the inappropriate comment, and make it very clear that it was totally her own conjecture, She should also apologize to the parties involved.

Otherwise you will be forced to cancel your subscription; if you dont subscribe then say that you have purchased your last copy of Elle.

Remember to always address Rob and Kristen as Mr. Pattinosn and Ms Stewart; remain rational in your comments -- outrage is fine but not too emotional. Above all dont get into anythign about the whole Robsten and Nonsten issue. The thing here is to focus on how outrageous and unwarrented the comment was, not to debate the validity of it.

Elle is in the process of being sold by Hachette Fillipi Magazines to Hearst publications; so it wouldnt hurt to copy the head of Hearst on this as well. Best person to contact would be the head of corpoate PR for Hearst Magazines, Jessica Kleiman:

Phone calls are good too:

It would be good to make these same points on websites where the articel is being posted as well.

If you have any questions feel free to ask away. I will try to check the site throughout today

Okay, I can't find the Elle interview you're talking about. Where can I find it? Is it the Russian one?

PR Pro...Excellent information...thank you. I will immediately re-do my email and re-send to the appropriate people/addresses you mentioned.
I will make a phone call too!! Consider it done!!

Brenda...It is the US Elle article.
You can read it on Robstenation too.

real pr pro said...

Meant to add that you dont have to use these exact words -- actually wouldn't be good if everyone is saying the same thing. Just wanted to offer a framework and some suggestions for the type of things that will have the most impact.

Now taking off my calm PR person hat -- I have never seen a more blatant example of a reporter projecting her own bias and fantasies onto her readers. The insult to Rob, Kristen and the reader is appalling. I can;t believe an editor approved this. If anyone still thinks that Rob or any celebrity gets to approve articles before they go to print, this should prove once and for all that it doesn't.

Thanks for reiterating the appropriate "talking points" when we address this journalistic clusterf*ck!

I really hope -- and I would bet my next Botox treatment that its already being discussed -- that Ruth and Stephanie address this with the publication. Something like this shouldn't be allowed to stand. It's a slippery slop. Let this stand and what's to stop another reporter from saying "She's probably going to drop him because he's too immature" in the next interview. Plus it's not just something taht concerns Rob and Kristen -- once a reporter gets away with something like this, its open season on any celebrity. Example: Here;'s a thought -- Angelina is more about having kids than being with Brad, but they proabably stay together for the kids sake." Or how about: "Here's a thought, Sandra probably knew about Jesse's cheating, but didnt want to address it before the Oscars." See what I mean?

Brenda said...

Thanks, Hope. I saw that one but only part of it was on Robstenation and I didn't see the part about the casual sex/f*ck buddies thing.

This is all getting so nuts.

Brenda said...

Whoa. Just read the scan. I cannot believe the Elle editors let this fly.

I had heard something about this last night but didn't have the desire to read the journalist's comment that caused all the ruckus. I thought maybe people were being overly dramatic or sensative (as can sometimes happen w. Twi-fans). But THIS! This surprised even a cynical bitch like me.
SO dissapointed in that journalist statement and in Elle for allowing it to be published. They are now on the same level as Perez Hilton in my mind.

While I obviously believe Rob & Kristen are together, I would have been equally appalled had this been written about anyone (celebrity or non).

Shame on them for allowing a statement like this to go to print. That one sentence has sullied the name of a good, reputable pub.

My so called Life -- your last sentence would make a great email or phone comment! Sums up the whole issue in a single statement!

Real pr pro- Will the editor receive any backlash for letting this go to print? I think they should.

CORRECTION for the phone number:
The one listed is for customer service. Better to call the editorial department:

HEH...It DOES seem like the reporter was trying to make a move on Mr Handsome...the fact that he may have "rejected" any advances on her part might have something to do with the article....its called sour grapes...

PR Pro - as soon as I can get to a real computer (posting on my cell right now). I will be emailing Elle.

Thanks for providing info on who to contact. I've never been compelled to send a letter to the editor, but this really irks me.

I'll be posting my glowing Kristen quote today, too. Don't want all this Elle drama to derail that effort.

She deserves all the praise she receives. It's clear she's one of the good ones :)

PR Pro...thanks for the new #

I was just going to say that I was not having any luck with the other #...LOL

Rhonda -- only if it impacts the bottom line or the magazine's abilty to get future interviews from either Rob and Krisen or other celebrities. That's why I hope that their management says something.

Brenda said...

Now here's a comment where they compliment each other. Maybe we should start including comments where Kristen talks about Rob. :-D

Kristen told Tu Magazine, "The chemistry between artists is difficult to define.

But in my case when I looked at Robert it was like I could look into his heart, and he could do the same, and that was very important.

"That's how I would describe the chemistry between us."

In a recent interview, Rob also showered Kristen with praise and said that it was difficult to keep his feelings towards her in check during filming.

Rhonda said...

Real pr pro- I hope they say something too. And thanks again, it's nice to have someone who knows how this business works :)

Mandy said...

Alot of times, this fandom over react to the tiniest things but I don't think this is the case.
That comment was uncalled for and so disrespectful. It has absolutely nothing to do with whether you're a nonsten or robsten or whatever you want to believe. It'd be more respectful if he just stated "I don't believe they're together". Its just wrong to make that type of judgement and comment when you have absolutely no basis for it. I would understand if R or K made some type of comment or did something for one to draw that conclusion but both of them have been so private about their relationship, that's not even the case. If that reporter has done any minimal amount of research, he can clearly see how wrong he is in making that comment. And Elle is not some trashy tabloid so that's what makes it more frustrating that they would let something like that go. How can you make such a crass comment about someone's personal life whom you know nothing about and someone who's gracious enough to sit down and do an interview with you.
