I've lived in Michigan my entire life and this summer has been the best I can remember. Everyone was complaining about the heat but being near the water, I loved it.

I'm going to play catch up again tonight it seems. I've heard pole dancing and belly dancing are excellent forms of exercise. I've been tempted to take a belly dancing class at the local rec center, but for now I think I'll stick with running and yoga.

Of all the R&K sites in cyberspace this is the site that I enjoy reading the most. Thank you for creating such a lovely site Rose. I'm a little biased but I have to agree with olivia, Michigan is a very pretty state especially this time of year when the leaves are just starting to change colors. It's really quite breathtakingly beautiful actually. And northern Michigan is the perfect destination for a road trip. If Robert & Kristen are looking for a place to blend in and disappear for awhile northern Michigan is the place. We are very laid back easy going people...just ask Kid Rock or Jeff Daniels or Eminem or Dave Collier...they all have homes in Michigan and are all able to get around quite easily and for the most part...anonymously. I'd even suggest Mackinaw Island as the perfect romantic getaway. It's the place where the movie Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour was filmed. If that's not romantic enough…it's also very beautiful, quiet and somewhat secluded (you're on a friggin’ island for crying out loud...lol).

Lived in Michigan my whole life and have never been to Petoskey. I hear it's beautiful. I may have to plan another road trip this fall. :) If you didn't guess already, fall is my favorite season. Crisp fall days and cuddle alert evenings are the best. And I can't wait for my first trip out to the local Cider Mill. Hay rides and corn mazes are fun too.

Scream 3 is being filmed not too far from me but I'm not really interested in hanging around a movie set and autographs really don't mean very much to me. I love Kristen but I have no interest in ever watching The Messengers and while The Haunted Airman technically isn't a horror movie, it really creeped me out. As much as I love Robert I don't ever want to watch that movie again. It gave me nightmares.

You should take a road trip to Michigan especially this time of year...it's beautiful. Detroit has a bad reputation (and unfortunately, deservedly so) but the suburbs are nice and northern Michigan is a favorite vacation destination.

To answer your question, besides The Haunted Airman and the Twilight movies, I've only seen The Summer House and Remember Me. I loved Remember Me. I cried like a baby at the end of that movie. I can't wait for Water for Elephants. I loved the book so much. And I'm looking forward to Bel Ami too.
Of Kristen's movies, I loved The Cake Eaters and Adventureland. I saw the Runaways too but if I'm being honest, it wasn't one of my favorites. Kristen was good in it though.
Eclipsed: well, if you want to see A LOT of Rob, wink wink, see Little Ashes. Whew!! How to Be he was very adorkable in that one. That being said, I must tell you my most favorite book of all time is Augustus Carp, Esq.: By Himself: Being the Autobiography of a Really Good Man. It is very dry humour but one of the funniest books ever written. Be warned that everyone who reads it will usually read it four or five times and become a bit obsessed with it. Let me know what you think.

As for the sticky one's presence, I'm going to offer this advice. She won't read what we write to her. She doesn't care that she isn't quite all together right in the head. She'll post and run and post somewhere else. It is her pattern.

So excited you are taking my suggestion. I have a very diverse group of songs on my iPod as a friend of mine thought it would be funny to download random odd songs onto it without telling me. Actually it is the mutual friend "A Friend" that Rose and I share and yet, I get in trouble for pulling pranks on her. Again, so unfair. She mixed these songs into my perfect playlists-- the Liberace melody, a song by Jermaine Stewart called "We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off," the Marcarena, MmmBop by Hanson, Disco Duck, and a complete collection of Paul Anka.
But, I enjoy alot of diverse music. Right now my favorites are Bobby Long, Sam Bradley--hahaha--not just kidding, wanted to be sure you were still awake.
I love the Stones and The Who as well as Van Morrison. Lately I've been listening to some Janis Joplin as well. Some friends of mine may go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Ohio and I am thinking of joining them as I think that would be fascinating to see. I also love the Kooks, Kasabian, Coldplay, Black Keys, and Mumford and Sons. And, as uncool as it may be, I still enjoy classical music and will listen to a wide range with my favorite being anything by Mahler.
More than enough info so please share yours also.

Oh-and Tracy-me ear lobes are better. I am not in need of rehab but enjoying time with friends before we all have to head back to the real world of work and such. My musical taste is quite varied as well. Although you won't find much country music on my ipod. I know it's kind of odd, living in Nasvhille, and NOT liking country, but it's never been my favorite. I do however, have some music by the Kooks, Coldplay and Mumford and Sons, and a friend of mine recently directed me to Ned's Atomic Dustbin. I also have a lot of Dave Matthew's Band, he is excellent to see live. Plenty of Muse, and I really like watching them live as well. I will admit to being a Metallica fan. Saw them in concert recently.. (I had an interesting night that night.. but that's another story for later.)
I have more music than my current ipod can hold. I am going to have to get the bigger one soon.
And it is never uncool to like classical music. I am particularly enamored with Chopin's nocturnes myself, and when I am feeling whimsical, I will listen to Le Carnaval Des Animaux by Saint-Saëns.
And funny you should mention Sam Bradley.. He is coming to Nashville in November, and I am most tempted to go.

At like an incredibly busy time when I was traveling. And the really fun part of that is that, unless you read chinese, you can't read the instructions on how to change it back. Now, I realize that you are so busy memorizing random quotes from bad Tom Cruise movies that this little incident may have slipped your mind but I remember it quite well. My youngest son plays "Preimer Youth"! soccer/football {depending from where you're from}. That's the highest level here for his age group. He actually lives and breathes it.....He is in a Special programme at school that he actualy studies soccer as a subject..... He's an elite little player and was luckily enough to be chosen....Only a few schools here offer this....So He is an indeed lucky young man. He has represented the area to which we live in and even traveled abroad to represent......there is another thing we have in common....so there you go....I'm not blowing my own trumpet.....Just a proud mum sharing a GREAT and common sport!
