Yup Syd, your "theory" :) makes sense to me about the song. There are many times a song writer may write something so personal it needs to come out but they still may want to keep it anonymous because it is so personal to them. Beautifully written it is, the fist way to a girls heart is for a guy to write a song about them. We just turn to mush, jello and all the gooey stuff :)

Weather here today is fantastic, 69/70ish, sunny and glorious. Lots of people in town for the football game; Oklahoma is here to play the Ags. It may go up to 80 again by Wednesday. One big reason I am still down here is that I never could take the cold weather up north. Except for beautiful sunny Fall days, and the first couple days of gorgeous snowfalls, I'm just not a cold weather person, even when I was younger.
So is the weather the topic of interest today? It was 29 when I woke up today and now I think its 40. It was sunny, but we had snow yesterday.

Sounds like a lot is going on with your sister's shower. Are you standing up for the wedding? What are the color schemes? I ask because I just love weddings and all of the fuss involved. To this day I still look at and touch wedding gowns when I come across them.

DK...Ashville NC, where Biltmore Estates is...great in the Fall thru December...a little chilly then but not bad. The Christmas lights are so beautiful and they have a Christmas tree in every room in the house...you cannot imagine the size of the rooms....unbelievable...kinda like walking thru the lobbies in the hotels in Las Vegas, unless you go and see it first hand, you can hardly conceive of the enormity of it. Its also beautiful in the spring but Christmas at Biltmore is breathtaking!

Super RN...tonight he's watching 'Ponyo'. I've no idea what it's about, but it's rated G so I figured it was relatively safe.
Funny you should bring up Woodstock...we got married the weekend of Woodstock '94...some guests picked it over us and hubby always wishes he could have gone but was getting the ball and chain attached instead lol...anyways we are not too far from Woodstock.

So many great talents. Yes, Carol Burnett and her whole crew were amazing. I especially liked the I Love Lucy Show. I can remember my parents always watching the Jackie Gleason Show.
Right now I watch very little TV. I was a hard core devoted watcher of Lost for the entire run. It was the one show I would watch no matter what and really got into the nerdy "meaning" of all the references on the show. Now I try to catch Castle if I can. The only comedy that I see once in a great while is the Big Bang Theory. I haven't even put on PBS that often lately. I've been reading more in the evening.

I listen to several versions of the song, decide what the younger generation of Roselanders would like to hear, decide which one suits that song best, or if there is a history lesson to be made of it, I will pick that one.
Then I look up lyrics, at lots of sites, which won't let me copy them (you must buy a ringtone).
Then I copy what I need and go on my merry way knowing that you will or will not, give a damn.
But I did give a damn, and I am very limited in my scope. All DJ's are like that.
