We had quite a thunderstorm here last night and a tornado touched down in a city about 30 miles away.
I slept very well, and loved the sound of it. No sirens went off, so I avoided crouching underneath the dining room table, like the last time I did, when it was a tornado warning.

Every change of clothing I make will now include a different piece of costume jewelry, no matter whether it is casual or dressy.
Piece after piece will be worn on the fingers, wrists, and around the neck. If I had a tiara like Tracy, I'd wear it too.
Tonight, I wore a red/blue flannel shirt, jeans, clogs and added a blue crystal 3 strand necklace. Bling, bling. I felt like Rob with Kristen's elan.
Next time, I'll add some for other parts of my body, but this is a new project and I wanted to know how it felt to be accessorised first.

Just tonight a 52 year old man and I were talking about this. He is going to be auctioned off on New Years Eve at the bar (for charity) and he announced that he would be available for only 10 minutes to the winner.
He said that the winner would have to decide what to do with him, and that he would do nothing himself in response.
He said he is liberated in his thinking about being bought and so he doesn't have to share his true value. Clever, don't you think?

Real life has kind of sucked the past week or so, and being a parent is just sometimes really hard! But, shit happens....you give yourself a few days to wallow, then you figure out what the hell you have to do, then I guess you just get on with it! That's what I'm trying anyway:)
On a high note, I won't have to do much shopping for Christmas, as we'll all probably be making macaroni projects for each other...LOL! And whoever said a 20th anniversary trip can't just be postponed until the 21st anniversary?...just one more year's worth of love to celebrate, right?

21 is a lovely number to celebrate. I didn't get my first diamond until my 25th anniversary and it is way better than the miniscule one I would have had if purchased earlier.

Jentoo - I really just wanted to reinforce what Penny says and also just wanted to mention that, pain the backside that kids are, having just been in the middle of a pretty horrific situation myself, my now "big" kid did the most incredibly generous thing, something I would never have asked or expected her to do and I will never be able to thank her enough. So what I'm saying is, hang in there, the scales will tip back in your favour again sooner or later :)

Morning all, well I'm off to do laundry, I know Susan, boycott, but that was the one thing I put off yesterday and with the in-laws coming early. I have to make sure they have towels to dry off on. But just to show my support for you...I refuse to enjoy it!

Okay, falling down the stairs once sucks but falling down the stairs two days in a row is effing ridiculous.
Put down the voo doo doll of me, please. My left side is so sore and it is making it difficult to maintain a sunny effing disposition!
If this keeps up, I'm going to start peppering my prose with "f*ck" instead of "effing."

Rob has such a beautiful muscled back and broad shoulders. Some good stuff to hold on to, right Kristen? And his eyelashes in that last picture where he is smoking, my God, they look false, they are so long and full. He is just perfection.
