teenager 19, yes we have did physical therapy, speech therapy, surgery, all while he was very young. He had to stay at a place called Kids and nurses while I was at work. They were the best. he was the healthiest child there. Some of the babies would tear at your heart strings because of all the things that they had to overcome..

I am happy to see my little friend exaggerated the effect of my er, indiscretions, as she told me most of you had quit the blog, were shaking in corners, etc. Very nice of her!

I heard you hated me and, the last thing I heard last night as the door was THANK GOD, closing was "Oh--Liza doesn't hate you" then SLAM and laughter from the other side so I didn't get to ask more. I really do hope you are not angry with me. I was not ABOUT to follow up as my eyes could not take much bleach. Thankfully I moved far away or I would have had to apply the bleach technique to my ears I am sure.

Rose, I am so sorry that I disappointed you and did not show up here fast enough to chat with you and the rest of the ladies. Smitty actually had an incredible amount of food prepared and a lovely meal. I think her idea was good, however, Gruff grabbed a bottle of wine, a plate of food, some of the most delicious brownies ever (whoever gave her that recipe thank you as they are truly amazing) and carried her caveman style out of the room. That was the end of our "welcome home" celebration. Nothing changes--I put on some music (LOUD MUSIC) and ate it by myself. I then fell asleep and never dreamed that you would be waiting to see me here. Of course, I saw you in my dreams so it wasn't a complete failure.

As for me making pancakes, well, that's just impossible. I may MAKE the trip to find a dinner that is open this early/late. God knows our resident comedienne will not be surfacing anytime for the next few days. Rose was very correct about how they are when reunited and its a bit obsessive in my opinion. They are shameless about it. Not too long ago a group of us were headed out. We had dinner together and there were shameless long looks and not so subtle innuendos being brazenly exchanged. There was one block between the restaurant and the bar where we were headed. Guess who got "lost" between the two and never showed up for the rest of the night? And guess who was supposed to give ME a ride home. No thought for me at all--no thought for my safety. Thankfully I have other friends here who will BOTHER to make sure I am alive and fed and have social interaction got next few days.

Yeah October is a good month for scary films, must all the scary halloween stuff and the dark nights. Paranormal activity 2 looks terrible though, think I'll give that one a miss.

So I went to get the kiddo's class ring yesterday. We get up to the person, and she asks me if I've filled out an order form.. no.. so she hands me one. I start filling it out and she says "You can't be her mom!!"
I was like "uhm, Thank you, I think"
She says "I thought you were a friend that just came in with her, til I noticed you were carrying car keys, and had wedding rings on!"

So the pic is the most recent. It was actually this past Sunday. I won't leave it up for long. Because I'm going to get tired of seeing myself on the computer screen. There's a reason I don't like having my picture taken.
That's my kiddo in the aviators. We were being silly while the hubster was driving.
Favorite scary movie? We like watching the remakes of the Japanese horror films. Like The Ring.
I'll have to get a picture of the tiara.. hehehe..

The thing with the kiddo has happened before.. it's weird. She and I went out to dinner, just the two of us, and the waitress wanted to know if we wanted separate checks!!
And even funnier.. when she was younger.. around 5 or so. We were at the dentist's office, and the assistant came in, was all "Ooooh.. she's so cute!" Then turned to me and gave me a look and said "Well, she doesn't look a thing like you!"
another one of those 0_o moments. I knew what she meant to say, but boy did it come out all wrong.

Oh yeah.. my brain's kinda on delayed this morning. Had to get take the hubster to the airport. He needed to be there by 8:45, so for some reason, he woke my ass up at 6:30.. and it's only a 35 minute drive..
The brownie recipe is mine. I'm glad everybody's liking it. :) Kinda hard to stop eating them once you start.

I remember some moms would bring pizza to their kids at lunchtime. That really impressed them too, especially if it was for no reason other than the kid didn't like school lunch that day.
