Rob and Kristen- From Soup to Nuts

This is Kristen leaving the SCREAM Awards.
Hmm...
Wonder who she is texting?

I have a couple of ideas...
;)

I'm still loving the 'Band of Gold' on her left hand.
Don't ask me why...
Or I might just tell you.

Um.
I'm not sure where to begin here...
But a promise is a promise.
(Right, Buddy? :)

OK.
That is a bowl of soup.
Bull Penis Soup to be exact.
It was on Andrew Zimmern's show...
Bizarre Foods.
Yeah.
Um.
I've only seen a couple snippets of his show in the past...
The guy has a major fascination with
animal testicles/penises.
Really.
He eats them all the time.
Kinda gross.

And kinda funny too.
:-D

Yeah, I know... that's kinda how I feel, too...

I don't think Kristen is interested either...

Well... it IS supposed to be some sort of aphrodisiac...

Have I said too much?

Thomas.
Just felt like adding him in here...
Haven't seen him in a while.
Kinda miss him...
You know what I mean?
Do you think Tom likes soup?
Just a thought.

Parting thoughts.

1. There were two quotes from co-stars recently that created quite
a little bit of a stir.
Well... it only creates a stir in those who don't want to believe...
but anyway...

Jackson Rathbone at the SCREAM Awards
"When Rob & Kristen look at each other as Edward & Bella
and that spark happens, you don't need 3-D for that."

And Charlie Bewley
“Those two are just brilliant together. Really. It’s a perfect match.”

Just simple, honest thoughts
from two people who actually know Robert and Kristen.
That's all.

Kristen is in NYC right now...
Doing promotion for WTTR
(I REALLY REALLY WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE!)
There is some sort of Full Press Screening
and then an after party...
No 'premiere'.
Then tomorrow she is on Regis and Kelly.
So it's a quick trip.
No sign of Robert...
While it would have be AWESOME
if he had shown up...
I completely understand why he wouldn't.
It's not like a red carpet event or anything.
(But I'm still hoping... hehehe)
I suppose they will be together soon enough...
(why does that make me giggle?)

So the question is...
Where is Robert Pattinson?
Louisiana?
NYC?
The Isle Esme location?
Kristen's Hotel Room?

Who knows.
All I know is I'm smiling...
BIG FUCKING TIME.

And there ain't nothing wrong with smiling.

This post is brought to you by the letters *B* and *S*

B for Bull Penis Soup
And that will be the last time I write that.
(maybe)

S for Sorry!
You know who you are.
Turnabout is fair play.

Bye for now
♥♥♥

My cat, Stormy, agrees with you, he just left me a gesture of his regard, right on the carpet, next to the computer.

Let's say that I am related to the turd family.

30, You are GREAT :) It doesn't take much to "get" that! Susan actually brought it to our attention.

Plus, you can defend like nobody’s business. I've seen you in action long before Roseland became Roseland :)

Anyone know what year the Proclaimers song came out? I'm having a brain hiccup and my computer is not treating me nice tonight.

I have desired and loved many of Manilow's songs, just not his physical self. There was some hairstyle envy at one point but I got over that.

The song was on the soundtrack of Benny and Joon(1993) and The Proclaimers re-recorded it again, I think in 2005.

But she has a heart of gold.

And forgives silly folks who are old.

I'd toast you with some bubbly.

Too many goodbyes for me to say-
so goodbye my friends. I hope you know who you are:

Every Time We Say Goodbye

Everytime we say goodbye,
I die a little,

Everytime we say goodbye,
I wonder why a little,

Why the Gods above me,
who must be in the know.

Think so little of me,
they allow you to go.

When you're near,
there's such an air of spring about it,

I can hear a lark somewhere,
begin to sing about it,

There's no love song finer,
but how strange the change
from major to minor,

Everytime we say goodbye.

When you're near,
there's such an air of spring about it,

I can hear a lark somewhere,
begin to sing about it,

There's no love song finer,
but how strange the change from major to minor,

Everytime we say goodbye.

DK- I've found this poem. Its interesting enough, lol

What A True Boyfriend
Should Do …
When she walks away from you mad
(Follow her)
When she stare’s at your mouth
(Kiss her you idiot)
When she pushes you or hit’s you
(Grab her and don’t let go)
When she start’s cussing at you
(Don’t cuss back and make her feel worse,
just deal with it for the time being)
When she’s quiet
(Ask her whats wrong,
but not a billion times when she says nothing)
When she ignores you
(Give her your attention)
When she pull’s away
(Pull her back)
When you see her at her worst
(Tell her she ’s beautiful)
When you see her start crying
(Just hold her and don ’t say a word)
When you see her walking
(Sneak up and hug her waist from behind)
When she’s scared
(Protect her)
When she lay’s her head on your shoulder
(Tilt her head up and kiss her)
When she steal’s your favorite shirt
(Let her keep it and sleep! with it for a night)
When she tease’s you
(Tease her back and make her laugh)
When she doesn’t answer for a long time
(Reassure her that everything is okay)
When she look’s at you with doubt
(Back yourself up)
When she say’s that she like’s you
(She really does more than you could
understand, completely true)
When she grab’s at your hands
(Hold her’s and play with her fingers)
When she bump’s into you
(Bump into her back and make her laugh)
When she tells you a secret
(Keep it safe and untold)
When she looks at you in your eyes
(Don ’t look away until she does)
When she misses you
(She ’s hurting inside)
When you break her heart
(The pain never really goes away)
When she says its over
(She still wants you to be hers)

She didn't do any of it, certemont, and didn't like the music, so our time in Bourbon Street was limited.

In they're defense (those who live & work there) they live in the now, in NOLA.

I sure miss you and am envious of your trip. Hope you'll dish for us.

gwen said...

This one is beautiful but sad, it makes me cry. Hope you love this.

Be my Valentine rose

Red roses were her favorites. Her name was
also Rose.
Every year her husband sent them, tied with
pretty bows.
The year he died, the roses were delivered to her
door.
The card said, “Be my Valentine,” like all the years
before.
Each year he sent her roses, and the note would
always say,
“ I love you even more this year, than last year on
this day.
My love for you will always grow, with every
passing year. ”
She knew this was the last time that the roses
would appear.
She thought, he ordered roses in advance before
this day.
Her loving husband did not know that he would
pass away.
He always liked to do things early, way before the
time.
Then, if he got too busy, everything would work
out fine.
She cut the stems, and placed them in a very
special vase.
Then, placed the vase beside the portrait of his
smiling face.
She would sit for hours, in her husband ’s favorite
chair.
While staring at his picture, and looking at the
roses there.
A year went by, and it was hard to live without
her mate.
With loneliness and solitude, that had become her
fate.
Then, the very hour, as on Valentines before.
The doorbell rang, and there were roses, sitting
by her door.
She brought the roses in, and then just looked at
them in shock.
Then, went to get the telephone, to call the florist
shop.
The owner answered, and she asked him, if he
would explain,
Why would someone do this to her, causing her
such pain?
“I know your husband passed away, more than
a year ago,”
The owner said, “I knew you would call, and you
would want to know.
“ The flowers you received today, were paid for in
advance.
Your husband always planned ahead, he left
nothing to chance. ”
“There is a standing order, which I have on file
down here,
and he has paid, well in advance, you will get the
roses every year.
There also is another thing, which I think you
should know,
He wrote a special little card …he did this many
years ago.
Then, should ever, I find out that he is no longer
here,
That is the card …that should be sent, to you the
following year.”
She thanked him and hung up the phone, her
tears was now flowing hard.
Her fingers were shaking, as she slowly reached
to get the card.
Inside the card, she saw that he had written her a
note.
Then, as she stared in total silence, this is what he
wrote …
“Hello my love, I know it is been a year since I
have been gone,
I hope it has not been too hard for you to
overcome.
I know it must be lonely, and the pain is very
real.
For if it was the other way, I know how I would
feel.
The love we shared made everything so beautiful
in life.
I loved you more than words could say, you
were the perfect wife.
You were my friend and lover, you fulfilled my
every need.
I know it is only been a year, but please try not to
grieve.
I want you to be happy, even when you shed
your tears.
That is why the roses will be sent to you for
years.
When you get these roses, think of all the
happiness,
that we had together, and how both of us were
blessed.
I have always loved you and I know I always
will.
However, my love, you must go on, you have
some living still.
Please… try to find happiness, while living out
your days.
I know it is not easy, but I hope you find some
ways.
The roses will come every year, and they will
only stop,
when your door is not answered, when the
florist stops to knock.
He will come five times that day, in case you
have gone out.
But after his last visit, he will know without a
doubt,
to take the roses to the place, where I have
instructed him,
and place the roses where we are, together once
again. ”

Wasn't our sweet Wildhart007 doing the same for those same reasons, and we had joined her?

Although my friend went to New Orleans and brought back chocolate covered ants and caterpillars....

No really i have eaten chicken intestine but not the rest i cant stomach those. The intestine are cleaned and cooked before barbequeing.

Darling Young Ones

It gives me great pleasure to share a fact of my life with you.

My father, who was not nice, loved to eat fried grasshoppers and chocolate covered ants. To give him credit, he did offter them to us, we would have liked some porkchops instead. And we did get them.

Now, I see that he was a very (now spelled correctly) sophisticated gourmand, but his booze swizzling habit, numbed that out. He was Swedish and loved butter, like I do.

Life is grand, and you know I have a song to prove my theory.

Bren said...

Gwen,

Dang, have you ever seen someone actually eat chicken feet? How would you even cook them? You have to admit Smitty's Bull Penis Soup story was freaking funny....

Dreamer,

I can't even stand to see grasshoppers jumping around, much less popping one into my mouth..you say your dad fried them?
That's one skillet I would throw away...

Bren said...

Dreamer,

Did your dad eat tongue? I know that's suppose to be a delicacy..

gwen said...

Bren

they cooked those parts until they're tender. Mostly it is served grilled. Most places here have their own exotic dishes from those fire ants to bats, snake and crocodille. Yuck! My brother already eaten bats, snake and monitor lizards, he said it taste like chicken meat. But i aint eat any of that, thats gross.

Some of those dishes were monitored by the enviromental dept thou to avoid extinction and animal welfare act.

The stars are bright above.
The earth is a-glow
And, to add to the show,

Falling, falling in love!

All:

Falling, falling in love!

Maybe it's more than the moon,
Maybe it's more than the birds,
Maybe it's more than the sight of the night,

And a light too lovely for words!
Maybe it's more than the earth,

Shiny and silvery blue,
Maybe the reason I'm feeling this way
Has something to do with you!

All:
It's a grand night for singing,
The moon is flying high,
And somewhere a bird
Who is bound he'll be heard,
Is throwing his heart at the sky!
It's a grand night for singing,

You are killing me, with your raising of the right hand. Like a right-handed pledge is more valuable than a left-handed one. I'd need to see your house documents or jewelry.

Some people can really eat those stuff w/ organs and all. Just the mere thought of putting it in my mouth makes me sick.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!!

DK,

gwen said...

DK

LOL! I mean it though...

Bren

are you still herd? Is this talk make you sick?

gwen said...

i mean 'here'

hey LJ!

DreamerKind said...

Liza
These drive-by visits suck.

We know that you could have posted earlier but no, you wait until you have to go to work. Money, money, money....

Syd-take her to task for such laxity.

Love you, Cute Bug.

DreamerKind said...

Bren

I dated them both and George was the more forthcoming.

DreamerKind said...

Syd

Liza is my Cute Bug, not you, sorry.

I can come up with some other nicknames for my #2 or #3 sons (it's a contest between you and Boris/Gruff) if you wish.

Make a plan to present.

Bren said...

I'm here guys...would you believe my cel phone was ringing, and it freaked me out...at this hour...but it was a wrong number..

No guys, I'm not grossed out at all, I tell you I have a friend who is a raging carnivore.

DreamerKind said...

Bren

Those very late night cell phone calls can be creepy.

My son's friend, age 28, called me the other night, by mistake he said. Something about the phone being in his pocket and dialing me, WTF?

That happened twice and got my hopes up. See, what I mean about creepy?

Bren said...

Gwen,

After Breaking Dawn I will not associate feathers with anything but Edward Cullen..LOL

gwen said...

DK

No surprise there, your quite the sweet and charmer person.

Ok i'll be back about 5min. Im listening to Air Supply now. I need concentration, lol

DreamerKind said...

gwen
So, you're listening to Air Supply, when some of us need an air supply. Kinda selfish, don't you think, needing to concentrate?

DreamerKind said...

Bren
I've suddenly noticed that your recent comments are directed to gwen. Why is that? Fraid of me?

gwen said...

ok im back, i gotta rush to the restroom.

Its ok DK, i dont mind ;-)

gwen said...

hey Bren where are you buddy?

Bren said...

I got a call like that one time...
I had a co workers phone number in my contacts....my phone started ringing as I was walking into the mall, well I saw it said my friend was calling, but when I answered some lady started bitching at me....she said I called her house and wouldn't say anything, I told her my phone was in my purse...I apologized because she literally wanted to have me for lunch....I did notice when I went into contacts her name was highlighted. When I saw my co-worker the next day she told me it was her mother in law , who by the way is a royal bitch..but I guess the movement in my purse called her---totally weird.

Bren said...

DK,

You are too funny! I will address both of you next time....LOL

Sorry, but I type with two fingers, and I'm probably much slower than you two...

DreamerKind said...

Bren
Surely, I must thank you for that ego deflating dialogue, for I must be that highlighted bitch in his contacts.

Are you going to block me from posting?

After all, I make you work extra hard with my late night posts.

Is there something that I could do or bring for you? (Some kind of kissing ass but not, brown-nosing but not, thing?)

I'm really your biggest fan of all time, not Smitty. (See, I begin.)

DK

gwen said...

Bren

do you think its just a prank call. My brother once receive a call from a girl and im the one who answered, then she start talking shit. Telling me to give the phone to her husband! Thats some sick woman.

DreamerKind said...

gwen
Done rushing to the restroom to play Air Supply?

What about my angst, my trembling about my call?

gwen said...

DK

Yep im done! Do you think Rose would mind we keep Roseland operational 24/7? LOL

Bren said...

I love Air Supply-- All Out Of Love....

DreamerKind said...

gwen
Am I still speaking with you?
Must be, since I am typing an answer.

This is a 24/7 blog with open comments for that time, too.

I think that you could ask Rose if she cares and she would not refuse you because you are SDC. (So damn cute).

However, she may require you to stay close at hand and not listen to music in the restroom while Dreamer is trying to hookup with men on her singles site, see what I mean?

Bren said...

DK,

I'm sorry, I meant to tell you sooner---your daughter is very pretty...

Speaking of daughters, mine just walked in from work....hate these late hrs., but she love her job.

gwen said...

Bren

i love all their songs.

DK

I bring my phone w/ me to the restroom, sometimes to sneak in here, LOL.

gwen said...

DK

Really, single sites? Can i join you there? Im single and ready to mingle LMAO!

Bren said...

Sorry, I was talking to my daughter, she works in a Lab, that's open 24/7...and tonight she had to work with HIV--which scares the crap out of me..She laughs cuz I'm always asking her if she just can't culture pee and poop, something less dangerous.

How late do you guys stay on this board?

DreamerKind said...

Thanks everyone for your comments on my daughter's beauty.

She asked me twice tonight if anyone has commented. Apparently, she is still very insecure.

She does care about the wee little ones who need her guidance to relate to, but yet, she wants to know if she is pretty enough.

On a serious note, feminist that I am, when will this yearning for approval of our beauty, ever end?

Smitty said that not much has changed for young women in business.

I've been out of the corporate world for a while and a business owner to boot.

Men would apply for jobs with me and not get them, unless I could tell that they were impartial performers. None were.

Blah, blah, no one gives a damn, anymore, do they?

Bren said...

okcupid? sweet--

Have you met someone?

You have to be so careful--there are fatals out there.

DreamerKind said...

bren
Your daughter is to be commended for her due diligence with HIV testing but be advised to be careful to observe the protocol.

I have worked with the HIV community for massage therapy and no major adjustment or protection was required. Is there some special concern for her?

We are here on Roseland for as long as we last each night. Lately, I have ditched and gone away to read myself to sleep or sleep. Or to cyberdate.

Some days, I get to meet the early shift of Tracy, Smitty, Liza, and others, if I stay up on here until 630am or so.

That time is also a prime one on singles sites since men wake early and "want to talk".

So much to do, and so little time....

gwen said...

DK

I think the one who should be ready to mingle is my mother :-) but i'll visit the site tonight and look you up.

Shouldnt you be sleeping now?

gwen said...

Bren

wow i know you're proud of her work, helping HIV patients. I can blame you though being anxious coz of the nature of her work.

DreamerKind said...

gwen
Tsk, tsk, my friend, when must I sleep?

The only deciding factor is when I have to do something early in the day. Then even the doubters know that I will do what must be done.

Where could I work late hours and be paid very well? Gee, Hollywood would be the place and I considered it, but love conquers all, as I have said.

Mom or yourself, just do it-register for OKCupid. Look me up, and you'll see that I look the same and am just as silly on my profile as I am on here.

Bren
Yes, I have met men from the site and so far, I have not killed any of them nor they me.

Bren said...

The lab is very strict, and she assures me she is always safe..she is a biology major and loves all that stuff...she will graduate in 2011, and wants to go to medical school, and become a pediatrician.

DreamerKind said...

Bren
I get your concerns and they are valid. It's good that she follows the protocol.

How wonderful when our children reach their goals. It can be a long haul, but with grit, they do it.

Bren said...

ok guys, it's starting to hit me...I do believe it's time to hit the sack...

It's been lovely guys...we'll talk again soon...later

Now I am capable of making them for myself, but do I have the ingredients, no, not all of them.

There are organic frozen waffles in the freezer but since I ate one last week, they are being punished, since they were not very good.

More icicles on them may help or out they go when the garbage trucks come next Monday.

Leo - hope your Mom is doing better today. Thanks for taking care of Roseland.

Have a good Tuesday everyone - I'll be watching and laughing as I peek in from my desk unable to comment. Watch out for the trolls, hopefully they won't leave their slimey goo everywhere today.

30,

I've been doing a reading of last nights comments and it seems that I offended you somehow but I'm not sure what I did.

Leigh asked for a definition of a Krisbian and I gave what I thought was the answer. I never mentioned you anywhere. I don't know what you said earlier that you thought was being referenced but it wasn't me that did it.

I'm sorry if I said something that upset you. Please forgive me.

We all come to Roseland because we are fans of both Rob and Kristen. I may not be as effusive in my praise as some but that makes me no less of a fan.

DK…that does sound like a good visit. You don’t find many doc’s with that carefree of an attitude. Love it when you do!

One of my family members lost a finger in a very mundane way. When we got to the ER and they were asking me most of the questions since the patient was in obvious pain, I told them she had been in a bar and started a knife fight. My family member rolled with it and said the finger was a small loss compared to the shape the other person was in.

The young resident just kept looking at my 50 year old, well dressed mother and back to me gapping.
