I kinda got the impression that SM felt bad for Jacob (even though she said all along that Edward was the ideal man) and she wanted to give him a happy ending. Thus turned into more of Jacob POV then there should have been.
IMHO, SM should have just given Jacob a novella and left us with the good stuff with Edward.
Don't pin a tail on me, but I came to love the Jacob character and I really think Taylor does an awesome job for one so young.
That doesn't mean I want so much focus on Jacob either. He does make the plot pivot in many exciting directions though.

DK, I like Taylor well enough (though he's not my fave).. he seems cool.. but I didn't like the character of Jacob at all. Seemed selfish to me. I mean.. he KNOWS that he hasn't imprinted on Bella, and he KNOWS that he's going to imprint on someone else one of these days, and he KNOWS that means he'd have to leave Bella. Yet he pursues her anyway.
Not a spoiler because it was on her website but some of the cut scenes from the New Moon book had Edward sending money to Bella's bank account for college.

I could totally see why Bella wanted to be a vamp. Edward is hot. I love how SM said in BD after Bella becomes a vamp about her realizing she and Edward could have sex all the time since they had no more mundane things to take care of. That's pretty hot.
My hope is that they concentrate on the Edward/Bella relationship and not try to prolong the damned so called triangle

DK, SueBee was talking about the movies..... they were promoted as if there was a love triangle between the three of them. In interviews and even on some of the movie posters, they talked about this big epic "love triangle". I swear, if I had to hear "love triangle" one more time during press tours last year, I was going to scream.
Got nothing to do with the whole vamp/warewolf/shapeshifter bit.
Watching Eclipse I had to cover my eyes in some scenes between Edward and Bella, as I could not separate them from Robert/Kristen.
I felt uncomfortable for a while until I made the magical mental leap to "suspending belief" like watching a play in a theatre.

Tracy - I'm with you on the "love triangle" thing. In the books it never felt like an actual triangle to me because there was no doubt that Bella would always choose Edward. I felt it was pushed in the movies, too - never felt believable to me.

ray, yup, I think all of us could tolerate Honey more so than Marlen. It's been said most days.
I don't go and look at Honey's profile, but what she says at least it's humorous even when complete madness. Marlen is just weird, she's expressed she's like an adult someone who has experienced a lot so far. And the way she speaks about a 20 year old is dreadful.
So yeah I can tolerate Honey, I just don't go to where she goes. I only see her here and that's it.

I don't find much funny about girls who behave like Kristen. I do find it funny how often she seems to fall down, drop things, stutter, and embarrass herself.
I only came by to see if Rose had picked up the latest on BD. It seems Nikki Reed may replace Kristen as Kristen is too nervous to handle the role. I certainly hope this is true as Nikki would be much more believeable and a better actress. She also could bring some class to the role instead of the uncouth and ridiculous antics of Kristen.
