Wear Purple on October 20 for Spirit Day
Show your support for the teens who took their lives because of anti-LGBT bullying.
So I did what I could to color the blog with purple today.
The bullying has got to stop.
People should be allowed to love and live their lives
without fear of hatred and being attacked.
So I scoured my extensive Robert/Kristen library for purple.
I'll be honest...
There wasn't a lot to work with...
But a few choice pictures came up
Not sure if this is actually purple...
But damn if it isn't a beautiful picture of Kristen.

I have to admit... there aren't any bad pictures of Robert
on the REMEMBER ME set.
I remember that summer so well...

And they don't get hassled by the Paps as much when working on these movies.

I did a little research about our resident POS troll and found out their real name. It's Medusa. You know the mythical creature whose hair had all these snakes coming out of it. It fits their description perfectly.
So our little troll wants to keep Roseland on its toes. Word of advice if someones comment seems "off" don't respond to them. It may be a troll posing as someone else since they have nothing better to do.
I was also thinking that the troll must wear little boy undies as he surely has grapes in there if you get my drift.
If you are wishing this wasn't happening...it does suck but don't fret. We can take on whatever comes our way. Hate won't win here in Roseland.

The very first time I actually read any comments at length here was the first time Smitty posted. I came to her post and had some thoughts too. We should share sometime.
Wise advice you gave. If the comment seems weird or out of place, just ignore. Its unfortunate for new posters but necessary to keep the sanity.
First off where you are located- gotta get used to nature sounds they don't go away. Annoying little things when you are trying to sleep. And the lizards that will somehow find their way into the house.
Secondly, nope I didn't tell you off. BUT my first thought was you were a nonnie!! I thought OMG we have another Kristen hater to contend with!!
You told Rose to change the banner b/c you didn't want to see "her" and just him or something like that.
We get LARGE wood roaches. (Like hissing cockroach large) One advantage is that we don't have many spiders for some reason. But yes, lizards and crickets are the worst! And sand fleas. They are always really bad in the Fall. I always keep plenty of skin so soft on hand. For some reason it keeps them away. And snakes! Ewww!! And they are usually cottonmouth snakes. Scary!!

I just read your cricket comment. They are so annoying. Did you know some of the chirping is courtship and some is warning off other males.
So loud chirping that continues is to attract the female. A short chirping song means he did the deed.

Ha--Melinda--I remember that. I hated that picture. I hate almost all of them. The one up right now scares me--lol. It looks like he's going to like -idk-smack her or rip her arm off. When my friend first told me to read this blog she had a beautiful picture of him with a hoodie on and the hood pulled up. I wish she would just leave that up but --its her blog! So now I keep quiet. Too funny though--yea, that's me the nonperson.

Leigh--not ALL cats apparently. And yes, I'm sure us running around here was amusing. I fell at one point over a bag and did a total face plant. Really smooth. We never found it and I guess they don't chirp in the daytime?? I was gonna see if there is like a trap or something because alot of them is kind of nice but just one is really annoying.
Leigh--snakes and huge roaches and fleas?? my god where do you live?
I don't mind the bugs so much but the snakes and lizards are not cool. The little ones that like run across your feet make me scream. Where I was for part of the summer, there was a little stone path to get to the door and it had plants and stuff on either side. We used to call it the trail of tears (bad bad--insensitive I know) because I literally would be like screaming and crying trying to avoid the things. They would wait for you to start walking and dart back and forth right across your feet.
Penny--I don't know what was wrong with the thing but it was like a chirp every 30 secs...just enough to bug you.

I'm sorry...but I am so laughing right now :) But only because believe me I've been there. Good luck on the trap thing. My advice would be a box fan because I've found it's the only thing that comes close to drowning them out. And usually if you can't find it they stick around for a few days...

Time for more honesty- I don't like the current picture either. It's awkward to me. But there are lots more that are fantastic so I am glad she puts them up.

I live in a neighborhood, but it's really just about 20 houses stuck out in a pasture so we have every kind of bug imaginable out here. Lately we've had these really weird, almost clear little lizards all over the front porch..those really freak me out. I can deal with those big ol' crunchy roaches, but not so much the lizards!
The jaw? rofl --that's like a guy saying he's a boob man or whatever. You are a jaw woman!
Leith--glad someone else appreciates how annoying those little guys are. There was a guy that worked there--at the property--and we were laughing about them. He took me over and showed me that under this one bush--they were all there sleeping like in a big ball. EWWWWW! I also saw the guy eat a bee live--but that's another story.

We have them here in Florida and I hate them. Scares the crap out of me.
Also I had a friend growing up that would catch lizards and have them bite her earlobes and wear them like earrings until they would let go.

I live on a barrier island on the Gulf of Mexico. And the snakes are usually only REALLY bad when it rains a lot. So far this year we are way below average on rain so I've only seen a few snakes :)
And sand fleas are more like gnats. But they are annoying...REALLY ANNOYING! Lizards--yea they aren't my favorite but I'm used to them so they don't scare me. My daughter hangs them from her ears like earrings!! Not I said the fly! She learned that little trick from her Daddy.

Yes, it's very beautiful. It's home. There are lots of little barrier island's along the gulf coast. You should really take some time to check them out if you can. The beaches are beautiful. And many of them are just quiet little communities :)
