Rob and Kristen- Can They GET Any Closer?

*slipping on Rose-colored glasses*

Ah... that's better.

"What pretty rosy glasses you have, Grandma!"
(did you get the grandma part? Did ya?)
"The better to not see the bullshit, my dear!"

OK.
So here we are again.
Sometimes writing a blog every day gets kinda hard.
Especially when there isn't much to talk about.
Kinda same shit...
Different day.
Well... you know the drill.

So I'm posting lots and lots of Rob and Kristen
being forced to hang out and be together.
Forced to get close and personal.
You know how it goes.

So many pictures.
So many photo ops.
(And please... this whole post is DRIPPING with sarcasm
so don't even fucking go there... OK?)

Kinda weird, though...
I always thought that if you wanted to be seen...
That you would like...
BE SEEN.
Not just scrambling through airports
and hiding in (and behind) cars

You know what I mean... right?
If you were performing for the cameras...
Why don't I see the performance?

Isn't that what staging a romance is all about?

We see brief glimpses into their lives.
Only moments.

There is a marked difference to how they are when they
know the cameras will be there...
To how they are when they think they are not being watched.
Complete opposite of a 'showmance'
Because they don't put on a show
Ever.

Rob's natural reaction to Kristen.
Smiles.
Getting Closer.
Bigger Smiles.
Even Closer.

And as close as you can get.

So what do we have?

Intimacy.
Smiles.
Touching.

Did you ever notice...
That the closer Robert and Kristen appear
The angrier and bitter some people get?
It's absolutely fascinating.

What are they going to do in the coming months (years)?
They are only going to get CLOSER.
What happens then?
IMPLOSION!

I suggest everyone purchase a pair of Rose colored glasses...
and perhaps a sturdy umbrella
and maybe even some good boots and a raincoat.

I see a major FOAMSTORM on the horizon.
Steady foam.
Constant foam.

BEWARE OF THE FOAM!

I'm thinking we might want to build ourselves an ark...

No Hyenas Allowed.
;)

OK... so the glasses slipped a little...
Sue me.

I was told I eat hate 'with a spoon'.
I talk about hate.
I admit it.
But I don't hate anyone.
And really...
I'm not talking about YOU.
Am I?
I've always thought of HYENA
as a vague generalization
Nothing specific.
Unless..
You THINK I'm talking about you.
Because this just gives me an excuse to throw in
one of my favorite sayings.

If the shoe fits...
Slide the bitch on.

This post is brought to you by the letters *S* and *F*

S for shoes.
We need some good ones for...
are you ready...
for...
TWIRLING!!!
Lots and Lots of TWIRLING!

F for Foam/Foamers/Foaming
I'm telling you...
The foam is TOXIC.
Stay away from the foam.
I repeat...
Don't Go Near The Foam!

Enjoy chasing your tails.
(Hint: You will never catch them)
;)

Bye for now

DK...A music question for you..one of the first songs I fell in love with was one of my older sister's 45's of a song called 'Seasons in the Sun'. I think I listened to that song 20 times a day forever! Are you familiar with that one? It was kind of a sad song I think....

gwen said...

DK- i have one last recipe. I hope you try this. Its best when the coconut strips are young and tender.

Ingredients
Crust:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2/3 cup shortening
1 piece egg yolk
1 tsp. vinegar
1/4 cup ice water
Filling:
4 cups strips of coconut meat
1 cup coconut water
1 (300 ml.) can Sweetened Condensed Milk
2/3 cup cornstarch
Preparations
Dough:
1. Blend flour and salt in a bowl. Cut in shortening
using two knives or with a pastry cutter.
2. Combine yolk, vinegar and water. Slowly add
the liquid to the flour mixing until dough is mixed
well and can be handled.
3. Divide dough into 2 parts with one part slightly
bigger than the other. Roll bigger dough to about
2 inches larger than a 16-inch pie plate.
4. Fit dough into a pie plate letting sides hang.
5. Roll out remaining dough for the crust.
6. Set aside.
Filling:
1. Combine filling ingredients in a thick saucepan.
2. Cook stirring constantly until thickened. Cool
then pour into prepared crust.
3. Cover with top crust; flute or crimp edges
together to seal.
4. Bake for an hour at 425 degrees F.

Enjoy! I'll be out for a moment. My friends want me to go shopping, lol.

Night Roseland!

Awww, DK! I knew you would! It's funny how songs can bring back such vivid memories. I have to step out for about 15 minutes, but I'm def coming back to hear that song! BRB.

This song was written by Jacques Brel, a prolific French composer.

The French are at times, considered, somewhat nostalgic.

It makes sense that it is as you say, a thought provoking tune.

So, just like what it is:

I found this poem, hope you love this:

My Perfect Little World

In my perfect little world, people greet,
they kiss and hug each time they meet.
Friends hold hands, and calm your fears;
they stick around to wipe your tears.

But in the world today, we just don’t care,
and showing love is somewhat rare.
When times are fun all friends are near,
then things get tough and most disappear.

In my perfect little world, we give and share;
we make it a point, to show we care.
We live to love, and love to live,
and find it easy to forgive.

But in the world today we strive on greed,
and crave the things we rarely need.
We step on others to get our way,
and hurt with what we do or say.

In my perfect little world, children smile,
and parents go that extra mile.
No child is ever harmed or hurt,
abused or treated just like dirt.

But in the world today most people cry,
and only pray in case they die.
We ’ve given in to all that’s bad,
and then complain that life is hard.

In my perfect little world were all the same
and life is not a spiteful game.
People are loyal, honest and just,
and value the gift of friendship and trust.

But in the world today it seems,
we ’ve lost all hope or goals and dreams.
Malicious acts are seen as witty,
I think it ’s sad and such a pity.

A levada is an irrigation channel, they supply water to the southern parts of the island ( Madeira Island) and provide hydro-electric power but we also can take wonderful walks through paths some are easy and relaxing walks but others are narrow ledges where a slip could result in serious injury or death... I'm going to do one of these walks tomorrow (sunday) but is not to hard.

Take care

good morning!

Rose and ladies of Roseland a love poem for you. Hope you love it.

Now I Know

As I lay me to sleep,
I hope in the morning you still think of me,
As I’m falling asleep thinking of you,
I wonder If you're thinking of me too,
Your love Is what I want to endure,
Because you're the one that keeps me sure,
I’ve thought I’ve found the one in the past,
But now you're here and I want it to last,
And now I know you're the one I need,
Because you're the one who makes my heart beat,
I’m always gonna be by your side,
But without you i’ll always hide.

Beautiful morning to all the lovely Roselanders! Quick hello and I'm off to work-
only half a day ( 2nd job ). $ goes into my little adventure trips fund.

Gwen, thank you for the "perfect little poem" from last night (11:09). I really like it. It reminds me to do better.

Just kept reading last night. Am engrossed by the historical fiction novels by Philippa Gregory. Finished 7 Tudor-centric novels this last summer, and am on the second book of the Cousin's War, The Red Queen , about Margaret Beaufort, heiress to the red rose of Lancaster, (precedes the
Tudors ). Most are quite good, a couple, so so, but I am determined to finish this one and will wait for the third in this series when it appears in the future.

Any knitters? I am very basic, scarf, shawl, cap category. Getting back into doing a bit now that it is cooling down. Can't seem to sit down with it when it is in the 90's + range. When I was in Austin last weekend, there is an awesome shop, it is called Hill Country Weavers ( on South Congress - www.hilcountryweavers.com if anyone is interested) and bought a gorgeous shawl pattern and some merino wool. ( Guernsey Wrap - fisherman-inspired texture by Jared Flood) Have to finish a quick scarf first and then will get started on the new one. Can't wait.

Another clear, blue, blue sky, without a cloud day.
Life is good.
Hugs to all,
Olivia (TX.)

Sorry for the late reaction cause we're already down to recipes, lyrics and moviescripts, I live in Europe so there is a time difference, but really Nikki fucking Reed more beautiful than Kristen???? This Marlen (Honey?) person must be fucking joking, she has too many teeth in the first place. I just think Marlen/Honey=hyenas people are just winding us up and I admit I love reading the reactions to these two cause they crack me up. Same for your posts, Rose, you are brilliant for putting it just right, just as it is for any normal person to see how Rob and Kristen are madly in love with eachother and they don't give a shit what we think is right or wrong for them, may they last forever!

Ha-playing catchup and laughing so hard at you guys. I miss u guys.

Marlen is right about the roles switching but really Billy is playing Jessica, rob's playing Renee. Tay's doing renesmee, Mackenzie is playing Aro, kris is playing a random extra, and Nikki is playing the cgi wolves. They've eliminated the role of Bella complety. Also it's being shot with one camera in NY and the cast is making their own costumes out of gum wrappers.

Kami said...

Well, all I can say is I can't wait to see it!!! I mean everyone in gum wrappers woot...lol yeah it's been a lot of fun around here, but Ms/Mr Marlen is kinda like Honey..crazy but harmless

I'm good guys! Hanging out nursing a hangover but smiling again finally. I'm trying to figure out why I got a massage saying Syd was eating something made with a bull's penis!!!

Caroline said...

Smitty-
LMAO at the thought of the Edward Cullen rocking the very unfortunate "Cousin It" Eclipse wig. Someone should do a YT spoof of Edward performing his C-section on Bella, but "delivering" the Cousin It wig instead of little Renesme.

SueBee said...

THe C-section scene does sound challengeing! Might as well spoof it and carry on! LOL

Caroline said...

Melinda-

LOL at SnookSten and The Robuation walking around saying "Gym, Tan, Laundry"!!!

Susan-

Have you ever heard of the Hillywood Show?

They do Twilight spoofs that actually Summit seems to sanction as they are always at the Twi conventions etc.

They are really good at it. I can't wait to see what they do with BD because I think they will include the c-section.

The Jersey Shore is not my thing but I LMAO at the Snooksten and Robuation.

I've missed you. My parents both went to Vanderbilt and my Dad was hopeful that Vandy might be able to beat Georgia this year. Doesn't sound like that's going to happen.

good luck Smitty

Good luck Smitty :-)

Just dazzle bitchface with your sweetest smile and I'm sure she will be putty in your hands.

Hi! Caroline!

HUGS!!!!!!!

Vandy is a great school. I grew up on Vanderbilt Place.

Smitty good luck that does not sound like a good time at all.

My computer seems to hate me today, it quits responding. I gotta send it in for repair Monday as I only can see 2/3 of my screen. The other 1/3 is vertical lines. At least I finally got the tool bar back to the top of the screen so I can use that. UGHHH!!!!!!!

I hate to say it, but I've gave up on the Vandy game. 29-0. Georgia just picked up 31 yds. Need a miracle at this point.
Drinking may commence early today.

I'm going to wear the headband with the flapper dress. I even watched a youtube video on how to do 20's hairstyles for long hair!

(My favorite time period)

I can't do the Charleston but I wish I could. I can't even walk straight! LOL

SueBee said...

OOOOOPS! Typo

That should have said WILDHART.

Wildhart007 said...

Susan

The headband is cool. Get on youtube and look up flapper dances. I'm sure you can pick up some great moves. The Charleston, Great Gatsby, and flapper dances are amazing. Although, doing it in heels might be a tad difficult.

Smitty

Good luck playing nice with a bitch. If she's too bitchy--whack her in the head a bit. LOL

SueBee said...

Wildhart,

I don't know how they move in those dresses. Mine is a little formfitting through the hips!

Wildhart007 said...

Smitty should borrow a bull pizzle from Syd. Supposedly a flogging instrument made from a bull penis. BwaHAHAHAH

Wildhart007 said...

Susan

They are narrow form fitting dresses. Does yours have fringe?

Linda

LJ said...

SueBee bwahahahaha.....I'd love to tag along with Smitty when she has to do stuff like this. I'd just stand in the background with my STFU hoody on.....then whenever bitchface says anything out of order just cough loudly and point at the hoody.....

heh heh heh

LJ said...

Btw SueBee you are going to look sassy as hell in that dress......FB pics please!

:-)

SueBee said...

Mine is black with beading in the front, a satin strip with a bow at the hip and two layers of fringe.
Love it! Annnd since I got it on eBay, it was cheaper than a flimsy costume.

Good Day Roselanders!

Hope all is well with you.

I am still here in the good old U.S.A, not in Paris with Bolling, as I'd dreamed.

Sounds like fun costume parties for some of you lovelies.

Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.
Cool it with a baboon's blood,
Then the charm is firm and good.
By the pricking of my thumbs,
Something wicked this way comes.
"Macbeth, Act 4 Scene 1

(keep trying to stir that pot Marloony.)

How are you today?

katy said...

Did Fuckwit Marlonny came out to play???

Kami said...

Hey DK,

Yeah he came out to stir the pot and it kinda reminded me of the three witches from Macbeth...so...with an apology to William Shakespear...I borrowed a line or two

LJ said...

Marlooney ---------------------->

Kami said...

Liza, lol

Kami said...

I seriously could not resist, it compared Kristen to a horse and well it kinda sorta pissed me off I know I shouldn't feed it, but seriously a horse????

LJ said...

Hey DK, Katy & Kami!!! *hugs*

Kay said...

Like it, Kami :)

Hi DK & katy, too

Kami--too funny. When I read that I hear the song from H.Potter though--with the frog chorus.

Marlen--I so totally could not agree with you more. I especially love your observation about how "stars" should be judged by their teeth like horses. That is brilliant and so true. And Taylor's chops are kind of legendary. I really admire you for trying to set these women straight about things. Its so obvious that you are a perfect human being with no flaws who is always well-mannered and kind to people.

Hi DK-how are you?

SueBee--You HAVE to share a pic here of the dress-can't wait.

And for all you talking about age--you all seem totally cool no matter what your age.

bored Smitty

Kay said...

Liza,too! :)

Hope you are all having a good day!

Kami said...

lol well can't have it thinking I'm uncivilized can I?

Rose, I'm sorry but seriously a Horse ready for the glue factory...I'll try to behave, but that...I know they are pushing buttons...

LJ said...

Who the fuck is Kristen Steward anyway? some strange tribute act perhaps?

he he he

Hi Kay!

Kami said...

Smitty, I love the way you phrase things!

LoL like I said, I was doing good until the whole checking teeth like Kristen is a horse....
ok...deep breaths finding my happy place...

Kami said...

Liza, I'd be willing to bet cold hard cash that Kristen Steward is his cross dressing stage name

Lovely day here in the neighborhood except for...no, Smitt, I'm being good. He, he.

Hi bored Smitty :) hope you have an easy time of playing nice today...I hate having to do that.

I'm wondering if Marlen really thinks people can't see the "hypocritical bitch" tatoo she has on her forehead.....she is really pissing me off, but I am trying not to feed her.

Kami said...

Kay I hope you are more successful than I was.

Waves!!! Kami, DK, Kay, Smitty and anyone else I missed!!!

Kami the Macbeth was ingenious! Totally appropriate!

Speaking of horses, my neighbors horses got out this last week and had to help chase them back to their property. Horses are noble and beautiful creatures no matter their age (I used to have an Appaloosa my Dad said he was going to make into Alpo dog food, his way of teasing me).

Dk I don't know if it has anything to do with it or not but usually about the time one of the M&Ms show up I start having trouble with the same thing...server error,

Kami--delete the comment at 4:02 please--it would make my life alot easier.

DK--I don't think the fools who pull the shit here would bother to hack into your accounts.

The comment by Marlen just proved what we suspected and like the snake that she is, she probably just got scared back underground.

Smitty--good job sweetheart. You didn't even mean to go fishing and you got yourself the catch of the day. Have fun tonight--or try to at least. Check your email for some stuff I just cleared.

You may have a totally "M" free evening now Roseland.
